He would hide his pale, tear stained face under his mop of jet black hair, unable to calm down until his mother convinced him that Skyler would come home soon enough. And true to her word the male would return, albeit much later than the child predicted, but he would return and the small boy would shower his beloved brother with affection and pester him with his normal childish questions. Now that he was a little older, the small boy took every chance he had to accompany his sibling and even going as far as to bring the oldest male lunch when the thirteen year old decided the meal was worthy enough to grace his brother’s presence. It was more of an excuse than anything, but Theodore reveled in the chance to slip past those menacing black gates and wander around Epispect Headquarters for an hour or two. He never seemed to cause any trouble and whenever someone asked what he was doing, the boy merely replied he was delivering lunch. Today was a little different though because the thirteen year old had thought he would be clever if he brought his precious Pokémon egg for a little field trip. Something told him that the pale blue egg would hatch soon and there was no better place than Epispect Headquarters to bring a new Pokémon into the world. Of course that was what Theodore was telling people when they spotted the teenager wandering around with his arms curled around the egg, hugging it protectively. In all seriousness the kid hadn’t a clue what he was doing and he was just praying that someone here would know what to do when the egg hatched. He had thought he was being rather clever when he brought the egg with him, Skyler had approved of the young boy trying to raise a Pokémon and that seemed to be enough for him. While raising a Pokemon was something very few people could see the small teenager ever actually do, the simple fact he carried an egg meant that he was ready to grow up even if it was only the tiniest bit. He was still a child, he knew it and those around him knew it as well but if he wanted to get over his pathetic fears, what better way than to start raising a giant scary monster? Sitting down under a tree, the thirteen year old allowed himself to get comfortable under the shade. In this scorching, humid heat the raven haired Gijinka was thankful for the smallest of comforts. He let the egg settle down on his lap before he began to fidget with the fake cat ears nestled neatly in his hair as his violet eyes remained transfixed on the egg, wondering if it would hatch any time soon. 1/7 (50% Shiny) [/style][style=background-color: #d6d097; color: #d6d097; width: 80%; border-bottom: 2px solid #b6b665; height: 50px; padding: 5 10 5 10; opacity: 0.8; -moz-opacity: 0.8;]...[/style] |
