Noah had no idea what he was doing here, out in the middle of nowhere, when he could be out in a nightclub on the prowl, but instead, here he was, walking around in underground tunnels, his hair gelled up and his dark purple cloak fluttering behind him, its hem whispering along the ground like a forbidden secret. He knew he shouldn't have bothered to come here, but well... Monument was at his side, and the little Litwick had been surprisingly accepting of living in his Pokeball all the time, Noah wanted to reward him with some time out. He reached down to his belt, fingers dusting along a khaki belt loop before closing around Monument's Pokeball and unclipping it. " Come out, Mon!" he cried, tossing the red-and-white sphere into the air and watching as it opened, and in a flash of bright ivory light, there was the little Litwick, floating without a care in the world. As soon as Monument saw his master, a little smile came onto his face and he darted to Noah's head, settling himself in the midst of the spikes with a little gleeful hum. " Mon, get off my head!" Noah chuckled, reaching a hand up to try to grab the little Litwick, but Monument was faster, hiding himself more in Noah's hair. " We still have to train you!" After more than a few minutes of trying to catch Monument, laughing all the while, Noah gave in. " Fine, you can stay there," he stated, a grin on his face. " Just so long as you fight when you need to, okay?" Monument didn't make a sound of agreement, but hey, at least he wasn't denying it either, right? Right? OOC: ... Why do I get the feeling Monument isn't going to get off unless Noah's fighting two Pokemon at once? HemusthaveinheritedKuro'slazyattitude. Or she enjoys killing things with Gijinka more than legit trainingTeam- Monument

WILD DUCKLETT APPEARED! [/style] ducklett || male || big pecks || water/flying || level 6 water gun || water sport || defog
This place was gross! Dark, muddy, not to mention it stunk! Ducklett was flapping his wings as he was trapped in the muddy water slowly flowing through the middle of one tunnel in the place the Aether slums residents liked to call “Catacombs”. He didn’t want to come here, but now he was trapped and the muddy water stuck to his light blue feather like leech, his once fabulous feathers now decorated with patches of brown water. Flapping his wings a few more times he managed to crawl out of the water or at least to the swallow end of it where only his legs were covered now. He shook his body, but that didn’t help him at all. He was dirty now, and there was no way he could get the mud off of him in this place where clean water was rare like a white crow.
Quacking in annoyance, he kicked at the mud. Great! Now he doesn’t only have to find his way out of the tunnels, but also doing that while sticky from the mud. He shivered, getting more and more riled up, wishing his clean state would stay forever and repel the dirt from itself. And he heard someone approaching from the other end too, instead of being happy from a possible rescue help, he just got angrier by the possible company. He didn’t want anyone to see him so dirty. He just had to get rid of them and get out of here before he met anyone else. Without a second thought, he rushed up to the approaching trainer and pokemon, releasing a Water Gun at them, not distinguishing the gijinka from the Litwick with his attack.

Noah was just walking when he was suddenly dealing with Monument letting out a little alarmed shriek, darting down his shirt. " Hey!" he yelped, reaching down into his shirt, " Get out of there, I don't feel like getting molest by my Pokemon!" He paused then, cocking his head. " Actually, that sounds kind of fun, I guess, with the right Pokemon." He started to muse on this train of thought when suddenly there was a jet of water all on his face and chest. " Hey, cut it out!" he yelled, trying to shield himself ineffectually from the stream. Suddenly, he understood why Monument had hidden behind him. The little Pokemon had been sitting on top of his head, as per usual, and he must've seen... whatever the heck it was going after him and tried to avoid it so that his little flame wouldn't go out. A smart move? Likely. That didn't, however, mean Noah was overly pleased about it. No, not at all. Noah's hair was gelled, and while a lot of it remained up, some of it was already falling apart, and he didn't like that. He could take a lot of things, especially wet clothes, but messing with his hair? Unthinkable. " Do you have any idea how long it took to put that together?" he hissed out, hearing the plinking sounds of water droplets hitting the ground from the extreme spikes of his hair. " Never mind, of course you don't, you're just a Pokemon." He was so angry - and no, he was not overreacting, it had taken him three hours to gel his hair up like that! - that he began tapping into his Gijinka powers subconsciously, creating shifting shadows around him that stirred the edges of the tattered, soaking cloak; in short, it was all the preparation for an Ominous Wind attack without actually calling it. Luckily for him, he managed to stop the attack before it happened. Unluckily for the Ducklett, he had another one in mind. " Shadow Ball!" he called out loudly, the shadows leaping up from the floor around him into a ball that hurtled itself at the stupid hair-hating duck thing. At the cry of the attack, Monument peeked out of his hiding place down the back of Noah's shirt, deciding to help his subject with his own Ember attack before he ducked back into his hiding place, not particularly wanting to die from a stray blast of water but having to protect his title of ruler. OOC: ... First, wow this is long. Second, he DID NOT use Ominous Wind. Thirdly... Noah's such a girl and I love Monument's delusions of being ruler of the world. That is all. *slinks away shamefully* Team- Monument

WILD DUCKLETT APPEARED! [/style] ducklett || male || big pecks || water/flying || level 6 water gun || water sport || defog
Well, do you have any idea how long it will take for me to wash off this ugly mud? Ducklett was still pissed, shivering in his whole body at the knowledge of how incredibly dirty he was right then. He couldn’t simply watergun himself to wash it all off, and he could pretty much already feel the mud burning away his graceful feathers and skin like acid. Oh how he hated it. But he hated the fact this human saw him much more, not to mention he didn’t give a care about his current state. Because really, wet hair was way better than mud all over your body, wasn’t it. Oh this called for a revenge!
He was slow though, and the gijinka’s Shadow Ball hit him square in the chest. He was too occupied with his own muddy state to notice the incoming attack, and with the follow-up from the Litwick, the Ember hit him as well while he was falling back – right into the mud again. Quacking and flailing wildly, he tried to get out of the mud, all the while getting himself more and more dirty in the process. By the time the poor bird was able to crawl onto a more solid surface, he was already drenched in the ugly substance from head to toe. And more importantly, he was angrier than before. Now it wasn’t about the human seeing him like this, but he pretty much pushed him into the dirty water. That was simply unforgivable!
The attack of the gijinka took its toll on him though, and he felt that it weakened his defenses, which made even the not-effective fire attack hurt more than usual. Flapping his wings a few times, Ducklett called white mist with Defog before going in for another Water Gun attack, aiming right at the gijinka again.

Noah smirked at the sight of his Shadow Ball hitting the Ducklett. It was a small, fleeting type of bitter satisfaction, but it was satisfaction nonetheless. He then smoothed his hair back, trying to ignore the gooey feeling of the gel in his fingers. "Stupid Ducklett," he hissed, "You are dead." He didn't care about the fog snaking around him, nor did he the water spraying his face and head all over again. The gel was already mostly out anyway, there wasn't a whole lot of point, even to block the attack. Instead, he let his shadows have what they had wanted all along. An Ominous Wind blew up, slamming through the tunnel and, more specifically towards the Ducklett. Monument, however, peeked out of Noah's cloak for a moment, deciding that a second volley wouldn't be an all too shabby idea, and fired off an Ember as well before ducking back down again. He didn't really want to battle anyway. OOC: ... Short post is crappy and short. Team- Monument ~ Cleopatra ~ Downdraft ~ Grudge

WILD DUCKLETT APPEARED! [/style] ducklett || male || big pecks || water/flying || level 6 water gun || water sport || defog
There wasn’t too many things Ducklett could do anymore. He was already tired from the previous attack, and being double-teamed by a gijinka and a pokemon was really quite exhausting in the end. All he could do was to use Water Sport, splashing more water around him in a failed attempt to weaken the fire moves the Litwick could use, but the Ominous Wind was enough to knock him down. He fell face first on the tunnel’s floor, one wing and his tail feathers falling back into a mud. But he couldn’t complain about them anymore.
WILD DUCKLETT FAINTED WILD DUCKLETT CAN BE CAPTURED
MONUMENT GAINED ONE LEVEL
WILD CORSOLA APPEARED! [/style] corsola || female || natural cure || water/rock || level 5 tackle || harden
One wandering pair clearly heard a ruckus in front of them somewhere in the tunnel, and the pink of the two, the Corsola, stopped in her tracks. Was there someone fighting? Maybe a Muk and a Garbodor was bossing for territories, who knows? Those two were like mafia bosses, always going at it when the other piece of muddy garbage showed up, and quite honestly, Corsola preferred to stay away from them.
However, if it was a different fight, she would like to see it, if not join the fun herself. With her little partner on her head, Corsola turned at the next corner to where she assumed the fighting was taking place. She was approaching slowly, and when she saw the fainted Ducklett, she knew what was going on. A trainer was roaming the place. She was really glad it wasn’t a Muk. Dealing with trainers was a less messy work.
"Cor-so, corso-la!" She was ready for the battle, and she shook herself to wake her partner up too. She only got a yawn in response, but that was okay for a start. She Hardened herself to raise his defenses, and rushed forward, but not for an attack of her own, but to throw her partner resting on her head at the opponent.
WILD GULPIN APPEARED! [/style] gulpin || female || sticky hold || poison || level 7 pound || yawn
She was tired. This place was not interesting, but just walking around tires her out so much she wished she would just simply be able to lay down and sleep the rest of her life away. She was even too tired to think about whether meeting and befriending the Corsola, her partner was a good idea or not. The other pokemon was going somewhere all the time, while Gulpin preferred to stay at one place, and as referred to earlier, sleep her life away. But she supposed it was okay, because she just settled on the Corsola’s head and slept anyway while the other was walking around.
She didn’t bother to know what the other did or hear, though she was blinking around sleepily. She didn’t see anything around, so she closed her eyes for a few more minutes before the Corsola tried to gain her attention. Someone there? She didn’t care, she was too tired to do anything than to sleep. She Yawned at the Litwick that was with the human and was ready to go back to sleep when the Corsola rushed forward, and before she knew, Gulpin was flying right at the pair in front of them in a Pound attack...
OOC: Rolled two for the next turn~ You can either keep going with Noah and Mon only for now, or bring out another pokemon, but it's better to keep it at two against two in either case. C=

Noah was torn. He knew he shouldn't want to go after the Ducklett anymore, the poor thing was probably punished enough with a knock-out... but dammit, his hair had taken forever to make it look like that! ... Yep, that sealed it. He dug about in his pocket, pulling out a Pokeball and expanding it before tossing it into the air towards the poor Ducklett. "Pokeball, go!" he cried, then got something akin to a battle cry. He turned about to see a Gulpin and a Corsola rushing towards him. Well... since Monument clearly wasn't going to intervene in this, looked like he had no choice. "Grudge, Cleo, come on out!" he cried, summoning forth the two of his team that needed a good push to battle. Cleo was just so shy that she didn't do well in a fight, while Grudge had the emotional strength for it but not the physical. Indeed, as soon as she came out, Cleo let out a little cry, darting behind his legs and letting out a scared cry, which left Monument to yawn and snuggle into the back of Noah's neck before the Cofagrifus Gijinka made a face and sent him back away in his Pokeball, not wanting to be a pillow, and Grudge to intercept the Pound attack that didn't do anything to him. Laughing darkly, the little ball of dark energy took full advantage of the moment, sticking his tongue out to try to Lick the poor thing inside him. OOC: ... Still short. Still crappy. Still failing on so many levels. Team- Monument ~ Cleopatra ~ Downdraft ~ Grudge
EDIT: Don't roll anymore mon. These are gonna be my last two since I got a full party now and I might as well just start a new thread once I catch these two, eh?

CONGRATULATIONS! WILD DUCKLETT WAS CAPTURED!
WILD CORSOLA APPEARED! [/style] corsola || female || natural cure || water/rock || level 5 tackle || harden
She wasn’t exactly pleased by the turn of events. Fighting against ghosts is one of the worst possible things that could happen to her at such a low level, and she wasn’t entirely sure how to deal with it. How to actually cause damage... Before she spotted the little covering Snorunt. Well, that one won’t be that hard, the little overconfident Corsola thought and jumped right into action.
She Hardened her body again to raise her defense, just to make sure she can take more hits than usual. Oh she won’t go down that easily either. Rushing ahead, she targeted the ice type pokemon that was hiding behind the gijinka and attempted to Tackle the poor thing into the fight. "Cor-soooo!" Fight, you coward!
She wasn’t all about manners. In the end, she did throw her own partner against another pokemon...
WILD GULPIN APPEARED! [/style] gulpin || female || sticky hold || poison || level 7 pound || yawn
Gulpin was too lazy to avoid getting caught by the Gastly, also way too lazy to try to get free once caught. She struggled just a bit before stopping altogether. It was all just for show anyway, she was okay with losing this fight. It was usually her partner that was too much into battles, she would rather sleep through them.
The Lick bothered her enough to know it was ugly, and she was probably dripping from the ghost pokemon’s saliva. Yuck! But it wasn’t enough to make her actually fight, not to mention the lick made her body unable to move. She was unable to use another Pound attack because of being paralyzed, but she could make another Yawn to target the Gastly as well. She would only be happy if she didn’t have to fight. Sleep is good. These guys should all just sleep.
OOC: Okay, I won't roll anymore then. I'm sorry I can't keep this thread more active, I will at least try to finish it as quickly as possible so you can have another thread.

Noah grinned as he caught the Ducklett, slipping the Pokeball into his pocket after it slapped into his hand again with a heavy slap. That would serve him right for thinking to mess with his hair! He then looked at his Pokemon and groaned. Cleo was such a scared little girl, though she was very sweet, while Grudge... merely unmanageable, though he did have the right idea. He was just a little weak to be pulling it off well. Though the Corsola throwing herself at Cleo was not something he wanted. Firming his voice, he yelled, "Cleo, dodge!" in the hopes of encouraging the little Snorunt to move. Squeaking softly, she ran out from behind him, dodging the Corsola's attack. "Now, use Powder Snow on the Gulpin!" The little girl nodded, jumping in the air and then blowing out a little cone whirlwind of snowy frost at the Poison-type, hoping to hit the strange thing. He then turned to Grudge, the Gastly shuddering and holding his tongue out of his mouth in protest to how the Gulpin had tasted. Well... it was his own fault for licking the thing in the first place. Noah didn't have much sympathy for him in that case, especially since his Ghost-type abilities came in to help him again as he successfully avoided the effects of a Yawn due to his own type abilities. "Now, Grudge, use Hypnosis on the Corsola and then Lick her!" The Gastly cackled evilly, drifting over to a position where he wouldn't hit anyone if the Corsola dodged - he would have just attacked had his Trainer not narrowed his eyes in warning at him - and sent out a series of little swirling circular discs of distortion at the Corsola before he dived forward, tongue trailing in the air behind him. He really hoped she tasted better than the Gulpin had... OOC: TAMA. IT IS NOTHING YOU DID ABOUT THIS THREAD THAT IS AT FAULT. I don't care about how long it takes the mods to come around to me so long as they do it. You guys have lives and charries too, and it's not your life's purpose to do mod threads for us losers. The reason I asked not to roll any more mon was because if I kept going here, I would be asking to add in another two mon since Noah now has a full party, and I'd feel guilty about basically replacing his entire team on you during the course of the thread. DX In short, it's not you, it's me. Team- Monument ~ Cleopatra ~ Downdraft ~ Grudge ~ Ducklett (fainted)
