It was quiet in the park. Quiet in the sense that there weren't people there. The park had its own noises of course, but they didn't bother Ah-hin. She wasn't paying attention to the forest, she had other things to worry about. Like training a fussy Charmander. It wasn't even hard training either, just practicing the moves that he knew. Of course the stubborn thing didn't want any of it. She shook her head slightly, deciding not to push the issue for now. There would be time to train after all. She grinned at her pokemon before flopping down on the grass beside them.
"Let's call it a day for training, what do you guys say?" She commented. Synge gave a yip and Sage bobbed her head as they settled beside her. Blaze gave a pleased sound as he joined them. He was just glad there was no more training to do for today. Shaking her head, Ah-hin lay back and closed her eyes, simply enjoying the nice day and being with her pokemon with no one to bother them. Likely it wouldn't last so she'd enjoy it while she could. Suddenly Synge was up and darting off. Ah-hin groaned and got to her feet to chase after the vulpix.
"Get back here Synge!" she called after the vulpix. Blaze and Sage followed at her heels though Ah-hin was in no real hurry. Synge seemed excited not scared so maybe he'd found something. She'd just have to see what happened.

WILD GLIGAR APPEARED! [/style] Gligar || Female || Immunity || Ground/Flying || Level 4 Poison StingGligar was sleeping in her temporary home underneath the eave of a house, her body hanging upside down and her eyes closed. She had stayed up most of the night trying to stop the crazy Pokemon on the streets from getting too rowdy, but even then she had her limits. As such, she enjoyed what little sleep she could catch here and there, which was why she was currently trying to take a quick nap on the side of a roof rather than in her comfortable real home on a branch of a sycamore tree she had found a while back, thankfully unoccupied as she didn't want to push any innocent Pokemon out of their homes just for her sake. She let out a soft groan, however, when she heard the sound of some kind of chaos going on around her. Letting out a soft groan, she cracked one eye open to see Pokemon and a human running towards her. Ugh, could she really not catch some sleep? Did saving the city three times last night count for nothing anymore? Stupid humans. They were the ones who had started this whole mess in the first place. She closed her eyes again, fully intending on going back to her sleep when one detail about the scene had her reopening a single orb. Fire. Someone had brought fire into her home. Eyes flying open, she let out a war cry, opening her wings to glide down towards the one carrying the flame, her tail whipping around in an attempted Poison Sting attack. It didn't matter if this Pokemon was with a Trainer or not, she was going to defend her home!
OOC: All right, finally managed to get this done. For future reference, it's easier on the mods if you have your tracker linked somewhere or include the levels so we know who to roll for. Most of my mon are probably going to be brain-damaged, but if you're not so fond of that or if you think I'm doing this wrong, just say something and I'll try to fix it. Oh yes, and um... did you mean to make the mod thread here in the Housing Area? Because you make more than a few references to the park in your post, so it was really confusing for me. If you did, just tell me and I can move the thread into the park, no harm done.

"Synge get back here!" Ah-hin called out, annoyed that the usually well mannered pokemon wasn't listening to her. She was beginning to think that Synge was where Blaze was learning his bad manners. She didn't know for sure though. She shook her head frowning at the vulpix who'd stopped suddenly, nearly making her run into him. What in the world was going on? She started glancing around to see if there was any danger near that she'd missed. It was then that the Gijinka heard the war cry and her head snapped around.
Ah-hin was totally not expecting a wild pokemon to appear at that moment. Nor was she expecting it to be an angry Gligar. It was also headed straight for Blaze who was rather oblivious to the Gligar. "Blaze! Move it! Sage use Tackle!" She called out. Blaze barely dodged the Gligar's attack as he tried to reach his trainer's side while Sage pivoted and launched at the wild Gligar with a Tackle attack. Synge was at his trainer's side, fur bristling as he waited for her instructions. Ah-hin was trying to figure out how best to keep her pokemon from needing a trip to the Pokemon Center.

WILD GLIGAR APPEARED! [/style] Gligar || Female || Immunity || Ground/Flying || Level 4 Poison StingGligar let out an indignant cry as her target darted away from her, her eyes sparking. She was terror! She was the night! She was Gligar! No one dared to oppose her! Crime was her responsibility to stomp out! She began to wheel to strike again only to instead be hit in the side with a small body. Air whooshed out of her lungs at the impact as she was thrown backwards, hitting a tree, but she let out a quiet sound as she slid to the bottom of it and then got back up, flapping her wings a little to make sure all of her membrane was perfectly intact. If there was a rip or tear in the sensitive, thin layer of blood vessels and tissue, supporting arches or not, she wouldn't be able to fly, and that would be bad. It would mean that, in addition to letting crime get the upper hand, that she would have a harder time getting food. Luckily, her wings seemed to be fine, and she threw an angry glare at the Deerling who had hurt her. Defending a criminal was a serious offense in these parts. Digging her claws into the tree bark, she quickly clambered up it to reassume the high ground before diving down again in another run, her claws glinting with dull toxins in another Poison Sting attack, this one aimed at the Deerling rather than the Charmander.

Ah-hin winced as the Gligar was thrown into a tree but thankfully the wild pokemon wasn't seriously hurt. Or was that a good thing? She wasn't quite sure just yet. She could tell the Gligar was not happy about Sage interrupting though. It gave Blaze a chance to reach her side and Ah-hin quickly put him in his pokeball. There he was out of the way for the moment. One less thing for her to worry about.
"Sage dodge it! Synge use Ember!" she called out focused on the fight at hand. Unfortunately Sage couldn't quite dodge the Gligar's attack and let out a squeal as she was hit by the Poison Sting. Synge was on the move though as the Deerling was hit and with a war cry let loose an Ember aimed straight at he Gligar. Sage got to her feet, trembling a bit but then she shook herself and turned back to the fight, ready to go. "You alright Sage?" Ah-hin asked and the Deerling bobbed her head, glinting eyes focused on the Gligar and Synge. "Alright, then use Tackle." the Gijinka spoke and the Deerling lunged toward the Gligar, intent on her Tackle landing a hit. It was payback for being mildly poisoned thanks to the Gligar's Poison Sting.

WILD GLIGAR APPEARED! [/style] Gligar || Female || Immunity || Ground/Flying || Level 4 Poison StingGligar smirked as she darted back a little to inspect the damage, a little wriggle running through her as she saw that her attack seemed to have Poisoned the other Pokemon. She didn't really have any warning though before she was hit with an attack, fire jolting around her small body, and she cried out, the flames licking around her. Panting harshly from the blow, she struggled back to her feet again to try another attack before she was hit with another blow, this one a full-blown hit of the body against hers. She cried out, flying through the air until she hit another tree, sliding down it and letting out a soft groan, her eyes slowly slipping closed again. She wanted to keep fighting... but she just couldn't go on any more. Her body had taken too much abuse...
THE WILD GLIGAR FAINTED AND CAN NOW BE CAUGHT! SYNGE GAINED ONE LEVEL FOR WINNING AND IS NOW LEVEL ELEVEN! SAGE GAINED ONE LEVEL FOR WINNING AND IS NOW LEVEL SEVEN!
WILD TOTODILE APPEARED! [/style] Totodile || Male || Torrent || Water || Level 4 Scratch || LeerTotodile grinned happily, flashing the victory sign as he ran through the park. He had gotten lucky in the gang he was running with, and as such, he'd managed to find a weak enough opponent of one of the rival gangs. He turned his head to blow a raspberry over his shoulder at his pursuer, ignoring the indignant cry as he kept running. He had managed to chew up the home of the rival gang, a sapling, and he saw no problem with it. They got what they deserved for going up against his little group. Flashing a toothy grin and blowing more raspberries, he was too busy mocking the angry Pokemon chasing his tail to realize he wasn't really looking where he was going, so he ended up running straight into some human's legs. He paused to look up at her for a long moment, a paw coming up to his mouth as to almost seem to consider her for a prolonged period of time... until he smirked and raised his paw, slashing it across her skin in an attempted Scratch attack. Just because he was one of those "adorable" Pokemon didn't mean he was going to just lie down and go along with the first Trainer who came his way! He liked being without a Trainer, free to cause as much trouble as he liked! Freedom forever man! Freedom forever!
WILD TREECKO APPEARED! [/style] Treecko || Male || Overgrow || Grass || Level 3 Pound || LeerTreecko was not happy. Not at all. First he had had to deal with some recruits complaining about some Gligar who handed their butts to them last night and now he had to come out to see that his base was completely trashed and chewed up by some upstart hooligan? And one of the members of that Water-type gang no less. Honestly, couldn't they see they were hopelessly outmatched? Having spotted the obvious culprit, a Totodile, he'd given chase, and indeed, the small gecko Pokemon was quickly gaining ground on the cheeky Water-type. He let out a soft snort at the turn to stick a tongue out at him, instead choosing to buckle down and run faster, reducing his wind resistance. He would catch this upstart punk and make him realize why you didn't mess with him! His eyes widened, however, when he saw all the Pokemon with the Trainer, and he hurried to skid to a stop, his legs pushing at the ground and digging up a few clumps of grass in the process, though he managed to stop short, unlike his target, who was too busy making obscene gestures at him to actually stop before he ran into the human's legs. The Treecko's body heaved softly from the exertion, panting huffing out of his mouth as he rested one hand on the ground to try to recover himself a little, and his eyes were focused warily on the others, not sure how they would react to their presence and wanting to be ready in case it proved unfriendly. The Totodile had no such restrictions however, as he proved by immediately attacking the human. Treecko wanted to facepalm himself. Were all Totodiles this dumb or was the stupidity reserved for just this particular soul?
OOC: Throwing two mon at you since usually if there's two Pokemon out, you're supposed to try to match it.

Ah-hin was ready to call out more orders when she realized that they wouldn't be necessary. The combo of Ember and Tackle had knocked the Gligar out. She was no longer a threat to them but now Ah-hin had to worry about Sage. The Deerling was panting now and the Gijinka knew that the poisoning had to be taking a toll on the pokemon. She quickly tossed a pokeball at the fainted Gligar, figuring it would be a good idea to have a bit of variety to her team.
"Good work you two. Come here Sage and let me see if I have any antidotes with me." she spoke shifting to take her backpack off. Before she could though, she was hit in the legs by something quite solid, making her stumble a couple steps back. "What the-?!" she exclaimed and her eyes widened a touch as she realized it was a Totodile that had run into her legs. Well then, this just kept getting better and better didn't it? She was so startled by the wild pokemon's appearance that she didn't have the reaction time to dodge the Scratch attack and let out a startled yelp.
Luckily the attack helped jolt her back to the present.
"You little brat!" Ah-hin exclaimed scowling at the Totodile as she let out an Icy Wind aimed at the annoying water type. She didn't notice the Treecko that had arrived but Synge had and let out a yip of warning. Ah-hin nodded eyes flicking between the two for a moment before pulling out Sage's pokeball. "Sage, return!" she called out, calling back the Deerling into her pokeball. "Synge, use Faint Attack!" she added though keeping an eye on both battles might leave her distracted more than she'd like to admit. Synge let out a growl, the fur on his back standing up before he charged at the Treecko with a Faint Attack.

WILD GLIGAR APPEARED! [/style] Gligar || Female || Immunity || Ground/Flying || Level 4 Poison StingThe Gligar's body lay there quietly, the singed nature of her small violet skin defying all subconscious attempts to find some measure of relief. She was aching both from exhaustion and her wounds, and even worse, she was now unable to defend the streets from crime. But that was all over for her now as the Pokeball opened up and zapped her up into it in a bright flash of light.
Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ DING! The Gligar would likely need some time to adjust to her new situation, but it would likely not be long before she was back to attempting to clean the streets of evil, this time at the side of a Trainer.
WILD GLIGAR HAS BEEN CAUGHT!
WILD TOTODILE APPEARED! [/style] Totodile || Male || Torrent || Water || Level 4 Scratch || LeerThe Totodile let out a snicker at the sound of her pained cry, flashing a smile chock-full of sharp teeth. He was glad he'd shown her what was what. Humans were dumb and it was his job to show them was was what! He didn't want to become some human's slave! That was why he had run away from his last home, choosing the carefree life of a wild Pokemon rather than the chance that he would be claimed from the Daycare. He raised his paw up again, ready to repeat the maneuver, only to let out a yelp, bringing his arm around to try to shield himself from the bracing, bitterly cold wind that bit at his body. He tried to brace himself against it, though he couldn't quite manage it before he let out a loud cry, flying backwards through the air with a wail of pain. He hit the ground, bouncing softly, and let out a groan, shakily rolling over onto his paws again. He had to start with all-fours, of course, which was extremely demeaning for him to have to go down on his paws in front of a human, but he just let out a soft growl and gave a baleful Leer in the direction of the human. He was feeling a little too shaky to put up a good fight right now... but he still flexed his claws and dove forward in another attempted, if a little weaker, Scratch attack.
WILD TREECKO APPEARED! [/style] Treecko || Male || Overgrow || Grass || Level 3 Pound || LeerTreecko watched as the Totodile was thrown backwards from the bracingly freezing winds thrown at him by the human, and it was then that he realized what he was up against. He had heard of some of these types of humans, the ones who were special enough to be able to use attacks as if they were Pokemon themselves. He had thought it only a rumor made up by some bored Chatots, but apparently it was more than that. There must have been some truth to it after all if this was for real. He contemplated things for a moment before shaking his head. His pride wasn't worth the beating he'd likely take. Nodding to himself confidently, he turned with the intent of running away, only to let out a yelp as he was hit from behind with an attack, sent skidding forward, his arms flailing madly to try to keep himself from crashing straight into a tree. He closed his eyes, bracing his body and locking his knees, just barely managing to dig his heels in and stop in time. He panted hard, cracking his eyes open to see the bark pattern only about an inch in front of his snout. Letting out a soft sigh, he backed up from it, turning around to glare at his foe. A Vulpix. Likely a member of that dreaded gang. His eyes narrowed and he would have settled into a light warning stance had the first blow not already been thrown. Instead, he leapt up into the air, flipping around so that his tail was pointed downwards, glowing slightly with the power of his Pound attack. Just because he was a little dizzy didn't mean he would take an attack just lying down, after all. He had his pride to think about.

Ah-hin nodded, smiling slightly as the wild Gligar was caught. That was good, she was adding variety to her team and hopefully that would help her in future battles. She would be sure to take good care of the Gligar once she'd taken care of the Totodile and Treecko. She gave a satisfied smirk as the water-type was thrown backwards. See? Not all people were merely human. It was blatantly obvious now that she was a Gijinka and she was glad there were no humans around. She blinked as the Totodile shot a Leer at her and snorted softly as it launched another Scratch attack.
"Didn't you already try this?" she commented idly as she retaliated with a Sand Attack. She paused for a moment quickly glancing over to check on Synge and the wild Treecko before her attention went fully back to the wild Totodile. She crouched briefly, waiting for its next attack. Synge meanwhile gave a yip of satisfaction as his hit landed. He watched the Treecko carefully and just as he thought it would, it was soon on its feet and retaliating. Well then, little guy was a fighter was he now? Synge was just fine with that. He let loose an Ember at the attacking Treecko. Synge was a fire type, Treecko was a grass type. This was not going to end well for the poor grass type.

WILD TOTODILE APPEARED! [/style] Totodile || Male || Torrent || Water || Level 4 Scratch || LeerThe Totodile let out a yelp as dirt was thrown up into his eyes, his attack pausing as he pawed desperately at his face. His pools were aching and watering, burning grains of agony grinding at his sensitive gaze as he attempted desperately to cleanse them of the painful sensation. Whimpering softly as he somehow managed to scrape enough muck from his eyes to be able to crack them open, though the thick mist of tears was enough to render him almost blind, he shook his head and attempted to turn tail and flee. He was rash, yes, it was befitting of a Totodile, but even he was stupid enough to keep fighting when his whole body ached and now his eyes burned with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. His eyes streaming out liquid behind him, he knew he probably wouldn't get all too far, but that was okay. So long as he managed to get far enough away to recover a little, that would be okay. He'd take the beating and berating he'd get for being a coward later. This was a matter of remaining free to take it, after all, and with the way his vision had gone, he doubted he'd be able to manage it otherwise.
THE WILD TOTODILE IS ATTEMPTING TO FLEE (ALBEIT DERPILY AND LIKELY IN THE WRONG DIRECTION)! PURSUE IT?
WILD TREECKO APPEARED! [/style] Treecko || Male || Overgrow || Grass || Level 3 Pound || LeerTreecko permitted himself a small smirk of satisfaction as he felt flesh give under his tail, though it was short-lived as he saw a pillar of flame shooting towards him from the Vulpix's mouth. His eyes widened and he tried to dart away, but he was too slow and the flames licked at his body. He let out a loud cry as the agony bit into his flesh, burning and threatening to consume him before finally, thankfully, it was over, the heat gone to let the little Grass-type fall to the ground, smoking a little and looking much the worse for wear. He had continued fighting to save his pride... but in the end, it looked as if the fight had robbed it of him in his defeat. But he wasn't able to think about any of that. He was too busy drifting away into a black void free of the pain his ravaged shell provided him with after that last attack...
THE WILD TREECKO FAINTED AND CAN NOW BE CAUGHT! SYNGE GAINED TWO LEVELS FOR WINNING AND IS NOW LEVEL THIRTEEN!
WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftSandshrew liked burrowing. He got to see so much of the world by digging. He had seen all sorts of natural wonders and even downright oddities simply because he lived in a world that lurked right underneath people's feet. Even now he was busily marking his current location on the map in his head, his head tilted back so he could better observe the natural underground cavern he'd stumbled upon. All kinds of crystals glinted in the walls, most of them naturally created by minerals filtered down by the dripping water that he could hear still trickling down and feel slowly plinking on him from the large spiraling rocks reaching down from the ceiling above him. He found the place absolutely beautiful... he'd never leave this place if he could. But alas, he had no choice but to pick up and leave. There wasn't enough food here to live off of, and if his rumbling stomach was any indication, he would need to start burrowing now if he expected to eat something without attracting undue attention. Stretching, he trotted back to his tunnel, it only taking a good few minutes of solid work to pop his head out through a small hole he'd made, his eyes blinking at the light of the surface world as he attempted to determine what was nearby. If things looked too dangerous, he'd have to duck back down and keep looking, but he didn't really want to do that...

Ah-hin almost felt sorry for the Totodile as the dirt hit its face and got into its eyes. She knew from experience that hurt like no tomorrow. She frowned as the water type started to flee but was distracted by the smell of something burning. She glanced over in time to see Synge had beaten the Treecko and she grinned tossing a pokeball at it. Not bothering to see if she'd caught the Treecko or not she headed after the Totodile, trusting that Synge would bring the pokeball along if she managed to catch the Treecko. She'd only gone a few feet when she tripped over something sticking out of the ground. She let out a yelp as she pitched forward, flailing a little, before hitting the ground on her back.
"Oh, that's going to leave a bruise.." she wheezed, her sides hurting a bit from having the air knocked out of her lungs. She carefully sat up to see what she had tripped over. She was startled to see a Sandshrew's head sticking out of a hole. Oh dear, so that's what she'd tripped over. Well then, she guessed the Totodile was going to get away after all. She had bigger things to worry about at that moment. She scrambled to her feet in case the Sandshrew decided to attack. She was fairly certain it would, given that she'd whacked it pretty hard in the head when she tripped over him. Great, this just kept getting better didn't it?

WILD TREECKO APPEARED! [/style] Treecko || Male || Overgrow || Grass || Level 3 Pound || LeerThe Treecko's limp form draped across the ground, singed from the battle with the Vulpix and smoking a little from the fierce Ember attack he had taken. He had come here to try to preserve his honor and pride. But now... now what honor was there left to him when he couldn't even find any strength left in his body when he really needed it? The Pokeball that scooped him up did so without his conscious awareness, the little red-and-white ball hitting the ground and bouncing once before landing again, this time staying put.

WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftSandshrew let out a pained squeak when his head was tripped over, pulling his little body out of the ground as he groaned, clutching at his head. He felt himself smacking into something that let out a pained yelp before he managed to roll away in his little tumble of a ball, slowly coming to rest with his whole body aching something fierce. That had hurt! That pulling on his head just... pain did not even really begin to cover it to the gentle digging Ground-type. He was a peaceful enough fellow, able to defend himself if need be, but he didn't particularly take pleasure in battling. He was more the type to run from a fight than to actually fight back. His neck was throbbing from the agony of... he didn't even know what had happened other than that it had really hurt, and he should probably run away and be afraid of it. But he couldn't quite find in him the will to get to his feet again and waddle off, even to go back to the dirt. Instead, he just whimpered softly and tucked himself into a ball, hoping to deflect attacks with his stronger back in a Defense Curl. He had tried to heighten his defensive abilities... but he was still aching too much to throw a decent attack out. All he could do was lie there and wait for the next blow to fall...
WILD TOTODILE APPEARED! [/style] Totodile || Male || Torrent || Water || Level 4 Scratch || LeerTotodile groaned as he hit a tree, flopping onto his back, his paws still over his eyes. He should have known better than to try to run off. Getting to his paws shakily, he turned around and tried to run in another direction, only to be hit in the head with something he hadn't quite expected. He cried out in pain, falling to the ground, where he lay still, the attack having knocked the little Pokemon out for the count. He may not have known what had hit him or why or what he had done exactly to deserve this string of bad luck, but whatever it was, he wasn't in a place where he could think all too hard about it... about anything actually... he'd have to save that for another day, hopefully one not involving powerful humans like this.

Synge was quick to grab the pokeball once the Treecko had been caught. Wouldn't his trainer be pleased? They'd added two new pokemon to their group! Yes, he figured she would be pleased. He scampered after his trainer only to find that she had tripped over a Sandshrew. Luckily the poor thing was more startled than anything and had curled into a ball after being run into by the fleeing Totodile. Synge sat the pokeball down and regarded the situation before him, trying to decipher the best course of action.
He decided to let his trainer handle this one. The Totodile had fainted after all, so he wasn't that much of a threat. Ah-hin watched as the once fleeing Totodile ran into the poor Sandshrew she'd tripped over. Now the Sandshrew was curled up in a ball and the Totodile was fainted. Well then, that made things a little simpler, at least for her. Quickly she tossed a pokeball at the Totodile before her attention went back to the Sandshrew. She had seen that Synge had arrived with the other pokeball which lead her to believe she had caught the Treecko. So now she only had the Sandshrew to worry about.
Or not worry about considering he was curled up in a ball holding his head.
"Hey, I'm really sorry about that, buddy. I didn't mean to trip over you. You should be more careful where you dig at." she spoke her tone soothing as she took a couple steps toward the Sandshrew. "I have some potions that will make you feel better." she added hoping that she wouldn't have to fight. She could feel the drain on her energy already from the previous pokemon encounters. Maybe she could get away with coercing this Sandshrew into staying with her.

WILD TOTODILE APPEARED! [/style] Totodile || Male || Torrent || Water || Level 4 Scratch || LeerTotodile lay there on the ground in a little heap, and oh, how the mighty had fallen! He had come here to cause trouble, yet he had been in exactly that, trouble. He had been ungunned, outmanned, and overmatched. And now he had paid the price for it: his freedom, taken away by the Pokeball soaring overhead, opening up to take him into it in a flash of light.
Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ DING! It was very likely that when he came to, the little guy would not be overly happy, particularly when he discovered who he had been captured by, but that... that was a tale for another time.
WILD TOTODILE HAS BEEN CAUGHT!
WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftThe Sandshrew flinched when he heard the human language bouncing around him, curling into a tighter ball before the exact words sunk in. It was... an accident? He uncurled a little, just enough to peek out at the person who spoke before his anger flared a little. Who was she to tell him to be more careful? He was underground? How the hell was he supposed to see where the crap he would be popping up? All he knew when he tunneled was which way was up, not what was going on around that up! Huffing and grumbling under his breath indignantly, he curled back into the ball even tighter than before in another Defense Curl. This human hurt his neck so badly that it was still painful and she had the gall to suggest it was all his fault? She should count herself lucky he didn't throw any Swift stars at her! If he wasn't still a little disoriented and in pain from whatever the hell it was she had done, he probably would have too! But ugh, that was the problem with humans. They were all so self-centered that they all automatically assumed it was the fault of the Pokemon, not them. Closing his eyes to try to block out the pain, the Sandshrew put his back to her and attempted to focus on something else, like the beautiful cavern under his feet. Yes... that would make a lovely distraction from the pain...

Ah-hin had smiled as the Sandshrew uncurled but apparently he didn't agree with something she said because then he was huffing and curling back up again. Sighing she glanced over to see that the Totodile had been caught. She seriously debated whether she should keep the trouble maker. Well why not? It would keep him out of more situations like the one he'd gotten himself into. Synge calmly picked up the pokeballs one at a time and gave them to his Trainer before sitting beside her, eyeing the Sandshrew warily. Ah-hin put the pokeballs away, one eye on the curled up ground pokemon in front of her.
"Are you hungry?" She asked the Sandshrew as she dug around in her backpack for a moment before pulling out some pokemon food. "I have plenty if you want some." she added giving some to Synge and offering some to the Sandshrew, a peace offering in a sense.
Or at least she hoped.
Synge in the meantime just nibbled on his food, not being helpful in the least.
