WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftRight as the human asked if he was hungry, the Sandshrew's stomach rumbled loudly, and he blushed a little, even if it was barely discernible due to the face that he was still tucked up trying to recover from the pain in his neck. He uncurled though, saliva welling up at the thought of food, the sole reason he had surfaced at all in the first place. He waited until there was a good opening before he pulled the food towards him, leaning down to sniff it critically, almost as if he suspected it was poisoned. Which he wouldn't put it past some humans to stick poison in some food so that he would be weakened and easier to capture. And humans called Pokemon the animals. Still though, the food smelled perfectly fine to his nose, and so he reached a paw out to grab some up, elegantly dipping his head down to take a refined bite, chewing slowly in an aristocratic manner. Sure, he may have spent most of his time down beneath the ground tunneling with little chance of meeting another soul ever, but that didn't mean he didn't know how to behave in polite company! He'd met some Diglett who had no sense of dignity or manners at all, merely shoving their faces into their food and chowing down without a thought to who they were eating with. Sickening. Even the memory made the polite little Sandshrew cringe. Still though, the food was decent enough for eating, and he nibbled on it just so, his ears twitching every now and again in response to a shift or rustle he heard. Just because he was dining did not mean he would be dropping his guard, after all.

Well, Ah-hin hadn't poisoned the food, or put anything in it, so the Sandshrew had nothing to worry about, at least from her. She watched as the Sandshrew delicately took the food, smiling at him. He was rather adorable being all refined and polite. She honestly didn't care about manners, he was a pokemon after all, but it was endearing. She chuckled softly, amusement in her eyes.
"You're too cute." she said softly before adding, "I really am sorry about tripping over you earlier..." she ducked her head a bit as Synge settled beside her after bringing over the pokeballs that contained the two newest additions to their family. She put them in the pouch she had for them, making sure it was closed properly. It wouldn't do for her to lose her pokemon after catching them, especially in such a silly way. She turned back to the Sandshrew noticing he was alert even when eating.
He would make a great addition to the team if only she could convince him without having to battle.
"Would you like to stay with me and my pokemon?" she asked cocking her head slightly at the ground type. She was hoping he would stay with her. She would feel bad having to fight him after being so nice to him. That would be counter productive. She tried thinking of a way to get him to stay without battling being involved.
So far, she was drawing a fat blank.

WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftSandshrew blinked at the apology, pausing in his nibbling. The human was sorry for tripping over him? Really? He... he hadn't expected that. Most of the humans he'd been in contact with were extremely uptight and wouldn't apologize for anything, even if it was their fault. He nodded back at her in his own quiet way, returning to quietly taking small bites of his food. Since she had apologized and admitted she was wrong, he would forgive her. There was no harm done, even though he was still a little sore over it. But that was just his neck. So long as the human hadn't meant it, he was fine with such a thing. His ears twitched at the click of her pouch, though he didn't look back up at the human until she spoke again, and then he cocked his head to the side and blinked. She wanted him to go with her? Well... was he sure he wanted to go with a human? His days of tunneling would come to an end... but he still had to admit that it might be fun to play around with someone and actually have some companionship on those long, lonely nights... and he'd have someone to show the wonders he found. He nodded softly, a little smile on his face. He'd join her. For now.
THE SANDSHREW IS WILLING TO GO WITH AH-HIN AND CAN NOW BE CAUGHT!

Ah-hin was grinning as the Sandshrew seemed to not only accept her apology but agree to come with her. Well then, she'd be sure to make up for tripping over him that was for certain.
"I'm so glad!" She spoke and Synge gave a yip of agreement, tail wagging. Looks like their family was expanding rapidly today. Hopefully that would be it for a while, though he didn't mind having more playmates, though he wasn't sure that the Sandshrew would be as active as he was. Oh well, they'd just have to see. Ah-hin smiled, glad that Synge was accepting of the new addition. "Well, then now that we've got that out of the way, I think a trip to the Pokemon Center is in order. Sage needs to be seen and I want to make sure your neck isn't badly hurt." she commented standing carefully. She winced slightly, her butt being sore from the tumble she'd taken.
She knew it was going to leave a bruise.
Shaking her head she turned to the Sandshrew as she pulled out an empty pokeball. "Want to ride or walk?" she asked cocking her head slightly. She didn't mind either way, though carrying the Sandshrew in a pokeball might be easier on them. Though she would understand if the Sandshrew didn't want to be in the pokeball just yet.

WILD SANDSHREW APPEARED! [/style] Sandshrew || Male || Sand Rush || Ground || Level 15 Scratch || Defense Curl || Sand-attack || Poison Sting || Rapid Spin || SwiftThe Sandshrew looked about, still nibbling on his treat before he nodded, getting up. When she offered the Pokeball to him, he reached forward, pressing a single paw to it and then jolting up into it in a flash of light.
Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ Twitch Twitch~ DING! The Pokeball twitched about, but not maliciously, as if the Sandshrew was trying to be caught. In fact, if anything, it almost seemed to be moving as the little guy got settled in his new home before the Pokeball disappeared in a flash of bright light, heading off to wherever it was Pokemon went to when their Trainers had a full party. It looked like the Sandshrew would get a little more time on his own to dig than he had originally thought...
