Taylor may have been on her day off, today being Valentine's Day and many of Epispect's employees would have their minds on their significant others - or their lack thereof - so the company had let their hunters and spies have the day off, but that didn't mean the girl didn't have her mind on her work. Even now, with the red and pink of love all around her, the Gallade Gijinka was calm and focused, hands shoved in the pockets of her long white coat as she navigated through the crowds with relative ease, the female more than used to having to put up thicker mental barriers to keep herself from accidentally reading someone's private thoughts that they had not intended for even her, a random passerby, to discern. In a way, she was lucky not to have to be chasing someone today, if only because it was occasionally difficult for her to draw in a deep breath; almost in protest to her own femininity on this of all days, she had wrapped herself even tighter this morning, vicious in the way she had ensured that her traitorous breasts, smell as they were, flattened out to ensure that no one could tell that Taylor Kendricks was not a he but a she. Still, it was a small price to pay, and as she felt the craving for a cigarette, she fumbled in the pockets of her open coat until she unearthed a lollipop, a subtle glint of blue eyes and directing flick of her fingers - a Psychic - removing the wrapper to allow it to flutter to the ground behind her as she stuck it into her mouth, all without pausing her step or looking down to watch what she was doing. She didn't need to.
The sugary taste of lemon-flavored candy flowered over her tongue as she skillfully stepped up her game, navigating through the crowd without allowing anyone to bump into her and possibly cause her to choke on her treat, even if she had only indulged herself in it because actually attempting to smoke a cigarette would result in her lungs immediately striving to expel the smoke, alienated from the sensation ever since the burning of her apartment. Sure, she had a new apartment, and her old Pokemon were home safe with her parents, but she could not forget the culprit, her own brother, and the organization that had pushed him to that point, Team Rocket. She despised Team Rocket with every fiber of her being, had even before her brother had joined, and the whole experience had only solidified her faith that what she was doing was right.
That was what she was doing here today: hoping to add another piercing to the collection hanging from her ears. If an Illegal Gijinka was stupid enough to show their face here, she had every plan of apprehending them. As she drew closer to her target of the rose-covered entrance of Rosen Vale, her gaze grew cunning, darting about more and more often. It would be a little hard to play the part of someone whose date had stood him up and made him a target for some sympathetic sap to attempt to obtain a date to enter the area themselves. Humans were appalling creatures, and she wasn't above taking advantage of that if she had to so that she could sell that she was both masculine and had been stood up. She wasn't some weak female, she was Taylor Kendricks, and she wasn't about to expose the secret of her real gender just to complete some mission!

Sure, it looks long now, but I can assure you that it won't be in the future >.> Also, this was written out entirely before the results were out (I know, I'm lazy and horribly late), so feel free to interact with Taylor as you please thought if you could go along with her masquerade of being male, I'd be extremely grateful :'D
