How you would mod a pokemon:
High above the pink wriggly creature, a lone hunter watched with a disgust in his yellow eyes. It was so loud, and wore brightly colored armor that couldn't possibly keep it safe. A hopeless hunter if there ever was one. It smelled of a pack of its own, but Pawniard did not see them. If it was always so loud when moving through enemy territory, it was likely it's own pack had abandoned it. Pathetic. Motionless, and utterly silent, Pawniard considered his next course of action. He had only been ordered to scout ahead for the night's hunt, but this creature could frighten off the prey for days if allowed to stay, and keep in the direction it was going.
...Yes. It had to be silenced. For the Pack. For Bisharp. "Pawn..."
While Pawniard doubted any sound he made would be heard by the gangly creature over the sound of it's own breathing and footfalls, he remained cautious nonetheless as he shifted his body to leap forward. He was among the best hunters of his Pack. Scouting, while normally left for the Pawniard of lesser fighting ability, had never been assigned to him before, but all had to do it at least once. Unfortunate for this soft skinned being for this to be his day.
The Pack's useful and naturally occuring rock hunting blind allowed for a full, uninterrupted view of the mountain pass in either direction. There was also a series of not naturally occuring rocks that served as 'steps' on the way down to it. Pawniard leapt from his place to a jaggedly cut stone several feet below, then again and again and again, making nary a sound until he landed on the path in a crouch, the tips of his bladed hands resting in the dirt. A short run to catch up put him only feet behind the creature. His right blade extended with the faintest of snikt's- and he leapt onto a nearby, foot high boulder, where he pointed his weapon at the brightly colored thing. Steel gleamed, as clean and rust free as the rest of his body.
The rules taught to all of the Pack regarding single combat flowed through his mind, and he shifted into a battle-ready stance. "Awn-iard!" He was required to alert his opponent, and not attack without warning from behind. After that, there were no rules.

Punch. Punch. Punch.
Three punches and the tall green tree still hadn't been knocked down, the martial arts pokemon lay his paws down and sighed briefly. Training all day on this damn tree and the creature still couldn't defeat it within mere seconds, if he wanted to be strong he had to find a faster way to train. "Foo..." The Pokemon responded after walking away from the tree, even though he had left powerful marks on the piece of nature it still wasn't good enough to satisfy his thirst for power.
The forest was lusciously green and wide, he barely met any trainers at all during his the time he's lived here. And whenever he did, they'd usually be a rookie trainer just starting out. The weasel wanted something more than just that, he'd yearn for a partner that could keep up with him and help train him to be the strongest fighter there ever was. Mienfoo reached the edge of the forest and glanced at the figure not too far away from him. A human...and it appeared that he was training one of his pokemon.
Astonished by the way he treated his pokemon in such a caring way, and yet the look on the grass type's body made it well known that he was tough. Maybe he could test his strength out on the young trainer. Nodding his head, the weasel slipped out of the forest and sprinted towards the human and his partner with a determined look on his face. "Mi, Mien." Shouted the pokemon as he swung his left paw back, preparing for a Pound attack. [/size]

Eyes that resembled the color of a clear, coastal reef watched the tamer and his pokemon silently. A young child with onyx hair, and black clothing, stood in the forest's foliage and followed them with his eyes. Silly humans and their pokemon. What kind of pokemon wanted to be with a human? To lose its freedom and fight battles not its own? The child was silent as it followed them from the edge of the path, never revealing itself. It had no desire to be caught, nor to battle. Just to watch, and see what they did. Curiosity. Cyan eyes were bright with it, and suddenly the child paused, to scratch behind his ear. It was a movement more akin to an animal's, rough and brief, before it realized that the pokemon of the human was looking at it. The eyes of the pokemon met the eyes of the child. It knew.
The black haired child narrowed his eyes, and bade its fellow pokemon to be silent. The poochyena seemed to have other ideas. The pokemon who was a child, now, was irritated. These stupid pokemon who served humans! They would betray their own kind so quickly. He stepped out of the clearing. He looked like a child of about eight years old. And the human would hopefully mistake him for such. But he was curious, too, once more. He was fairly certain he could take on the poochyena. And its human.
He said nothing, because he could not without giving himself away. Mute, he was, in this form. Sometimes he walked among the humans in this form, watching and observing. The pokemon were not fooled so easily. He did not smell human. He was, essentially, pokemon. The Zorua was like the Ditto, and could take on the form of others. Quite a useful skill, especially when he did not want to be seen for what he was. Still, perhaps today he would battle.
He had battled before, he was strong enough. He simply had no desire to be caught. That was why, strong or not, he avoided humans in favor of watching them rather than interacting with them. If he were caught, could he then get away again? He was unsure. He didn't like being unsure and so he was careful. Unlike some of his kin, he had the sense to be...

How you would mod a pokemon:
The night seemed to be dragging on and on, and as far as the Seviper was concerned, there was not a single thing to eat in sight. Things were changing around these parts, as he’d heard from the Pidove that flew past overhead sometimes. It had something to do with a virus, and humans hunting Pokemon. Not hunting to catch and train, as it used to be, but hunting to kill them for some foreign purpose. Whatever it just happened to be that tickled the human’s fancy, the poison snake wasn’t about to resign himself to that sort of fate.
But of course, he wasn’t aware of a shadow creeping along with him in the dark. It hid from bush to bush, stalking him slowly as he slithered along the dry, cracked ground. The poison type was just looking for some food; a little rat to fill his belly for the night, perhaps, and hoping he didn’t run into one of those strange humans along the way. Such horrid things he’d heard from those coming from other regions; how they’d kill the Pokemon and take something from them, like some blood or a tooth or a bone. He himself had no ideas why they would do such things, but humans were strange.
Ah, there it was. A plump looking Rattata sat on the ground, digging near the roots of some trees. It was quite possibly looking for a meal itself, and didn’t know that it would soon be the Seviper’s dinner. But all was fair when you were trying to survive, and the snake coiled up in wait under some bushes, waiting for the mouse to finish feeding before he struck. A plump rat was better than a skinny one.
In his concentration, he didn’t notice the shadow lurking hear him. He didn’t notice how said shadow stood on two feet, and how said shadow had long arms. He didn’t notice, until it was much too late, that this was one of those humans that was spoken of as if a myth. He didn’t notice until the shadow pounced, and then it was all too late.
