LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Loki Rowyn Fridtjov
★ NICKNAME: --
★ MEMBER GROUP: Team Rocket
★ POKEMON: Gijinka ;; Vaporeon
★ STATUS Legal
★ AGE: Eighteen
★ HEIGHT: 5'11"
★ WEIGHT: 155 lbs
★ FACE CLAIM: Gerard Fernandes from Fairy Tail
★ APPEARANCE:
A boy of average build and somewhat average height, Loki isn't anything too special for the eye to behold. His hair, a deep blue, lays somewhat messy and untamed on his head, bangs falling between his eyes, other lengths falling not too far under the line of his chin. His eyes, a nice shade of olive green compliment his features, nothing too big or too small to stand out oddly. His skin is fair, no marring or real scars to be shown anywhere on his body except for the red and rather tribalistic tattoo adorning his face.
His dress is somewhat unique, but certainly shows his status as one of the richer people of Aether. He wears a black, turtle neck tank top under a white button up shirt, a fancy border rimming the collar, black trimmings to compliment the white - his favorite color scheme (monochrome). His jacket is a deep navy blue with lighter blue trimmings and gold decorations, the most noticeable, a gold symbol, embroidered on the chest resembling a wing - the symbol of his family. Loki wears a pair of fairly baggy black pants that he tucks into a pair of black boots and uses a belt to keep it snug around his waist.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
★ POSITIVE:
- Sociable;; Despite being quite distant and seemingly cold, Loki finds himself attracted to others and enjoying having others in his company. He rarely says much to them, but he finds having others around him to be of some comfort... even if he'd never admit to this - having friends helps his self confidence, if only slightly, it lets him know that even if he thinks he's not worth it, someone else might just think otherwise.
- Optimistic;; Loki tries to keep favorable outcomes in his mind when it comes down to things - life, problems, fights, everything. If he doesn't, he tends to lose faith in himself and the things he does, and he's afraid of failing. Every time he feels himself slips, he mentally kicks himself so he can make it through his trials and life. Not only does he do this for himself, but for others too, especially those he considers his friends - he has a bit of a hero-complex, so if he can do something to keep everyone up-beat and positive, he'll do it.
- Reliable;; Of anything, Loki makes sure he stays dependable, not only trying to keep himself constant with results in preformance, but in completing tasks and jobs he's asked of or told to do in a timely fashion. He already thinks pretty little of himself and thinks he lets hismelf down, he doesn't want to feel like he's letting others down, so he does the best that he can with what he can - he likes impressing others, it makes him feel somewhat good about himself.
- Warm-hearted;; If one were to go to Loki with a problem, the boy may fuss and complain, but he'd be more than willing to help. He lends an ear to those who need to talk, a shoulder to cry on for those who need someone there and affection to those who are in the same boat as him and want nothing more than to feel needed or loved... even if he may not seem to be the type to do this. Under his Tsun-Tsun exterior, he's rather soft and fluffy.
- Quick;; Rather than physical speed, Loki has metnal speed. Whether it's thinking, learning, forming a plan or reacting to something with a string of witty words, it's right there. He finds any sort of classes rather boring due to the fact that he learns at a faster rate than the other children. Though, he also takes his duties seriously and gets right on them, leaving no time or doing anything before hand... unless if there's a new body of water to explore.
- Valiant;; Loki has a hero complex. He wants to do things for others and be recognized for them, he wants the attention... good attention and the rush of the adrenaline. He will act bravely or exhibit extreme courage to accomplish this... but it's not fake. He is, by no means, cowardly, nor will he back down. He takes things on with a strong determination and keeps going at it. However, he knows when too much is too much... he's not brave to a stupid extent, and will run if things become too much for him and he knows it.
- Thrifty;; Whether it comes to money, food, decorating, clothing or what have you, Loki is the one to go to. He certainly knows how to regulate a dollar or a loaf of bread to stretch it as much as he can and getting the most out of it. Though, just because he knows how to do it, doesn't mean that he enjoys it. He's a rich kid, spoiled as he grew up, having anything he wanted at his finger tips... but he sees it as a useful skill in case anything were to happen... despite being optimistic, he knows anything that can happen... probably will.
- Calm;; Very rarely does Loki lose his cool over anything - whether it be an argument, a battle or someone simply being cruel to him. He knows that this tends to piss some people off, but it doesn't bother him. To be honest, he doesn't even enjoy fighting - if he can, he'l look to solve things peacefully... but that doesn't mean he won't fight either. However, anger and agitation are pretty much the only things his calm mind covers... sure, he'll panic, but who doesn't?
- Attentive;; Loki makes sure to keep a careful eye on his surroundings. He's not too keen about being landlocked, preferring to have water somewhere near by, as he feels uncomfortable. To provide himself with some ease of mind, he makes sure to observe everything he can and keep himself on his toes - he hates being surprised, and quite honestly, fears an ambush... especially in a place where he feels weakened.
- Loyal;; To the leader of Team Rocket, his friends, his family or his potential lover, Loki is faithful to the end. He'd sooner think of death than betraying someone he holds close to his heart or in high regards. This includes the fact that he feels protective over them... they're his, and he needs to keep them safe... at all costs, because if he doesn't, who else will? He tends to take alot of responsibillity onto his shoulders in that regard... He tends to forget there are others out there who will help him... but he doesn't want the help anyway.
★ NEGATIVE:
- Frank;; Loki, when you speak to him, tends to be straight forward and to the point. He doesn't like dancing around matters nor does he like making things all fluffy so you can handle him. He's blunt, and keeps nearly everything short, sweet (or not so sweet) and to the point - holding little to no reserve with his words or thoughts... even if he may hate himself for some of the things he would say later on.
- Meticulous;; Of ANYTHING, when you first meet Loki, you can notice how much care the boy puts into details. Whether it be a work paper, a project, a meal or a job, he makes sure to include every detail, and make each one of them perfect. If things aren't lined up, he will make sure they are, if a picture is askew, he will fix it. He hates this about himself, and it stresses him to think about the matter... but it stresses him more when things are off. For him, it's six of one, half a dozen of the other, and he needs to learn to live with himself like this... and with his disorder.
- Distant;; While he loves socializing, he often seems distant in behavior and mind. Many often seem him to be rude because of this and tend to avoid him, which gives him a real blow to his already low self-esteem... but he doesn't want others to find out about his problems and the way he sees himself - so he keeps them hidden away and makes sure to be careful about not letting many signs show through. He wants people to think more highly of him than he does of himself. If they do, he thinks that maybe, just maybe someday he can come to love himself more.
- Self-esteem;; Something that he keeps hidden as deep within as possible, Loki has terrible, terrible self-esteem and self-confidence... low as in scraping the bottom of the barrel low. He tends to do things, silly little things at that, to give himself the appearence that he is the opposite, but if one were to get close and actually get inside, they could easily see how low he is. He thinks everyone else, their thoughts and opinions and lives matter much, much more than his. Due to this, he generally puts himself as second-best to everyone else, raising them up while keeping himself down.
- Impatient;; While he doesn't have a short temper, he certainly hates to wait... for anything. He hates lines, timers, waiting for a certain date to come, having someone be late to meet him, long waits for food, etc. Any form of waiting... irritates him. He won't throw a fit over the matter, but you can easily tell when he's unhappy. He tends to grow extremely silent and broding, though the chances of him acting on this attitude are slim to none... usually.
- Pensive;; Loki always seems to be stuck in a train of thought, musing or mulling things over. He even has his own little fantasy world in which he hides away in to get away from reality and, more importantly, himself. When inside this world of his or simply thinking, he often appears unhappy or extremely longing. On rare occasions does he seem peaceful when doing this, appearing to be meditating or sleeping. In his mind - it's the one place where he can be everything he wants to be... he knows he could try and fix himself up in reality... but he's afraid to try.
- Possessive;; What's Loki's is Loki's... not anyone elses. He's not too willing to share much - food, his belongings and such. It's the one thing he actually feels in control with in his life, and he plans on keeping things that way. If he were to fall in love, he'd become easily jealous of that person if they were around others, though he'd do his best to keep this buried within, as it's simply another thing to do with his lack of self-confidence. He feels that people - friends, lovers, etc - can be easily taken away from him, since in his eyes, hes worth next to nothing. He'll do what he can to hold onto what he sees as his.
- Self-reliant;; The boy has a major issue with relying on anyone else, no matter what it's for. Mental or physical help - a job, a fight, advice, suggestions, needing someone there for him when he feels down... he'll reject all of this. He wants to be the one people come to for help, not the one that goes to others for it. This tends to leave him struggling and drowning within himself now and then, fighting to pull himself above the surface... but the way he sees it - if he can't make it on his own, what good is he worth?
- Stubborn;; With everything else, Loki is extremely stubborn - and this plays with almost every trait of his being. He won't accept help no matter how much someone pushes it, he won't share what he sees as his for anything, he keeps his ideals as his and won't take yours, he has a problem admitting when he's wrong, won't give up no matter how many times he's failed and he won't back down. This tends to make him a very difficult being to handle and he's quite known for his headstrong behavior - for this, he tends to be the partner that people choose last, ignoring his better traits such as loyalty, optimism and his quick thinking, preferring to have a more... agreeable partner. He can't help but to feel the pain from this, as he's not the type to think that they weren't worth his time in that case, but he remains optimistic and moves onto the next partner.
- Deviant;; Despite disliking conflict, Loki seems to have quite the knack for finding and getting himself into trouble, especially with having a hero-complex. He'd willingly throw himself into a fight to protect someone he loves or to defend someone who he sees as helpless. He shows little to no concern for the hatred between humans and Gijinka, and would protect a human from Gijinka and Gijinka from a human. Though he knows that he should hate Epispect and fight them and all that they stand for, but he'd even protect one of them if it came down to it.
★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- Loki fears electric types due to being a water type Gijinka. He doesn't shun them, he will interact with them if others around them own them, hesitantly of course... but he'd never have one on his immediate team.
- Like his pokemon counterpart, he can tell when rain is to come... and he spends every moment it rains outside. He feels safe with water around, secure.
- If there's any sort of body of water around, no matter what, he's immediately attracted to it and goes to find it... it's an extreme, one-track mind ordeal. He won't stop until he finds it too... and can often be found around that area.
- The boy has OCD. He is meticulous with checking to make sure things are perfect.

H I S T O R Y
- Born to one of the higher class families of Aether, Loki never went without. He was the kid who had everything and anything he could have wanted... quite frankly, he had it all handed to him too without a second thought. Of course, this tends to make one Arrogant, but Loki found that this was never enough as he grew up. He wanted something more that money couldn't buy - friends, people who loved him. So... he talked his family into letting him attend a public school rather than having a private tutor. Like everything else, they let him have it.
- School was average for Loki, he made the grade, as he promised he would to his parents for letting him go to public schooling, went early in the morning, came home in the afternoon... he even made a couple friends, though they seemed to be the type who hung out with him only for his money, he tolerated this because he wanted to feel needed, he wanted to feel loved. On the outside, they appeared to be a tight-knit group, inseparable. The friends protected each other from rumors, bullies and the other harsh realities of the schooling world. Things seemed perfect... almost.
- At the age of thirteen, one of Loki's friends contracted the virus, his 'girlfriend' of the time, who never told him, had had it for a few years now, her family too poor to afford the vaccine for her. Like usual, he was sharing his lunch with his friends, usually bringing extravagant foods or buying nice meals for them, supporting them as his friends came from all different areas of Aether. Not knowing that any of them had the virus, they all felt care-free and shared cups without a second thought.
- Food was one thing, an expensive vaccine was another. Loki went for about a year with the virus before the symptoms really started to show. Falling rather ill one night, he gained a rather violent cough - sewing blood. His parents knew this wasn't a good sign, as it never is, and took him to the family doctor. The doctor told them that it was probably something minor, an ulcer or something causing this and not to worry - if it were to persist over a long period, to come back. It certainly persisted... and worsened. It was with this that the doctor feared to diagnose Loki... but he did, and naturally, his family panicked.
- They wasted no time taking him to Epispect to get the transfusion, easily able to pay for the fact to save their son, and with the payment, Epispect gladly did the procedure. Once he was well enough to return home for Rest, his parents brought in a tattooing artist to place a family tradition onto his face - the red mark that told the rest of their family that he was a Gijinka, a survivor of the virus - to their family, it was a proud mark to bear - and anyone who had survived got the mark.
- A month later, Loki was as healthy as a horse, of course with a few new quirks from his Vaporeon DNA, and back in school. His friends were... no longer his friends. The other boy who gave the virus to Loki was dead, the others accusing it to be Loki's fault. He couldn't afford the transfusion, and they kept asking why Loki wouldn't buy it for him, he had all this money! But that was not something Loki could decide, it was up to his parents, and while small things were okay - but something so expensive was to be kept within the family. He felt no more need to be in schooling, and went to his parents.
- Leaving public schooling, the boy finished under another private tutor, wanting nothing more to do with any of the children that were out there, his friends or not. He graduated under these circumstances and began thinking about what he wanted to do. His parents urged that he go and work for Epispect, the company that had saved his life, as many others in their family did... it was only natural it was the first thing he thought of. But it wouldn't be what he did.
- Leaving home one day, Loki headed down to the Epispect building to find out what sort of things he could do for the company for a living, to find out what piped his interest. While on his way there, he came across an odd scene... three men beating down another, blades in their hands with the intent to kill. Of course, it was only natural for Loki to butt in and attempt to save the fourth, and after a fight... he lost. The men killed the fourth, one who Loki quickly learned was an illegal gijinka, and saw, first hand, the extraction process. He was disgusted, and continually yelled at the men, not only for the murder, but for the reason in which it was done. It was easy for them to tell that Loki was legal, the boy in their database, so they left him without a word and a pat on the head. The boy was scarred. He didn't understand how anyone could do that simply for the blood that coursed through the mans veins, it wasn't that terrible of a thing... was it?
- He quickly learned that this being who was murdered was a member of Team Rocket, and he felt himself attracted to this group after hearing only a couple stories. He sought out their leader, or someone who could get him in... knowing that he wanted nothing to do with the acts he saw on the street on a day to day basis. Once he joined, Loki never told his parents, he found a small time job in the city square to cover up for what he was really doing. But he was happy... and he never looked back.
