Amplus Mountain Range

Despite the name, this range is longer than it is wide, but that doesn't make crossing them any less dangerous. People who come here have been known to disappear forever, leaving it unknown if you really can make it to the other side or not. The tops are capped in snow, and the slopes are rather green for the area - it's a mystery to the people why it's so lush. Rumor has it that there's a small village somewhere on one of it's slopes... maybe this is where the people disappear off to, finding a better life? Or is this all a hoax to get rid of citizens?
