Another Pokémon might have celebrated their attacks scoring a hit, but with the amount of pain the Natu was in from even forcing the move in the first place it was hard for him to feel anything more than a slight stab of satisfaction that at least the Ralts would not win this battle without something to show for it. However, the Ralts did not let him savor even that small success for very long, flinging another quick Thunderbolt at the little bird that sealed his fate with a loud crackle of electricity, a flash of bright light, and a shrill scream of pain. If the dual-type had looked like Thanksgiving gone wrong before, the electrocuted creature that hit the ground limply after taking the attack at point blank looked more like a fired bundle of feathers than a Pokémon, only the occasional twitch as electricity continued to run through its body revealing that it was indeed a living creature.
That said, the follow-up Thunderbolt was completely unnecessary and only served to send the already unconscious creature bouncing a few steps down the sidewalk, but better to be safe than sorry, right? With the Natu taken care of and the path clear, there was now nothing to prevent Penthus and Amati from going on their way. No troublesome Pokémon, no irritating human passerby, just (relatively) clean, quiet streets ahead.NATU HAS FAINTED! IT CAN NOW BE CAPTURED! AMATI GAINED TWO LEVELS FOR WINNING!
