The thunderbolt hit the nidoran dead on, throwing the little thing to the ground instantly, it's energy seeping from her. Done, Fainted. With a sad smile Illorie quickly retrieved her from the battle with a pokeball before shuffling through his bag quickly. "Blitzle" He called, throwing the pokeball to release the electric horse. A grin crosses his face at what Raven smiled, his eyes shining. "That's the plan!" He said with a laugh. But he couldn't help but feel warm at the praise. Oh how he loved when he made Raven proud. Shaking his head he turned back to the battle just in time to see the Anorith enter the field, missing the Quick Attack that landed on Vahni. Sucking in a breath he looked with worry at his vulpix, knowing that Anorith had been what caused Vahni to faint last time. "Blitzle! Cover Vahni" He shouted then, or rather he squeaked. He just didn't want to see harm come to his vulpix. Vahni took the chance, before the Anorith could attack to use a Tail Whip in hopes of lowering his defenses.

Instantly the electric horse was there, snorting as he got in the way of Anorith's Water Pulse, taking the attack fulling on. Angry the horse turned towards the bug, snorting. Using Charge he worked up his energy before releasing a powerful Shock Wave in the direction of the little bug. An attack he knew couldn't be evaded. It was in revenge for the attack he had had to endure. It wasn't nice to be attacked by water so early in a battle. Besides, why did he have to cover that stupid Vulpix? He was much stronger, he should be the one that had to be protected. Snorting he stomped his foot and stared at his other opponent, a stupid cat. Oh how fun could this be?

Vahni blinked as the Blitzle got in his way, baring his teeth. Why did Illorie want him protected? Yet as he saw the stream of water, and felt the little droplets as they landed on him, he couldn't help but agree. Yes, protecting should be needed. Baring his teeth he collected his energy again, sapped though since the last time he used his attack, and summoned a second Overheat in the bug's direction, completely ignoring the Glameow that had entered the battle.

Raven could only watch as his poor anorith was targeted by Illorie's team. Sand flew in multiple directions as his glameow streaked across the sand, waiting until the last second before intercepting and slashing at the blitzle in a Fake Out.


The golden steel-type clicked at the opponents in anger, digging his claws into the ground to prevent himself from recklessly flinging himself at the opponent while waiting for his master's decision.
"Naka, ignore the blitzle, go for Vahni! Use Water Pulse!"
Anorith complied, tearing his heated gaze from the electric-type and focusing on an opponent he didn't mind at all to be switching to. The little vulpix had thought it could escape by hiding behind it's friend, but he couldn't do that forever. He clicked a few more times then fire a Water Pulse at the fire-type.

"Mika, you take care of that blitzle! Cover Anorith!"
Glameow leapt forwards, a hiss close behind. She focused and summoned a Hypnosis, hoping to put her opponent asleep and then only have to deal with it later while she helped Naka take down the ever troublesome Vahni. At the same time his anorith found its bearings and launched a second Water Pulse at Vahni. Raven had to admit though, as a fellow fire-type he did not envy any of the water attacks that could possibly land, hell even being so close to the ocean had his nerves so fired up he could barely think straight. Damn the gijinka DNA...
