It wasn't until Vegas suddenly began to squirm and try to break free only to collapse back against his chest did he realize the true implication of the action. He could feel Vegas's heartbeat through the thin fabric of their clothes and at first he was extremely glad that the brunette was too busy leaning on him to notice the small blush that tried to force its way to Kagura's cheeks. But then again, the heartbeat he felt against his chest meant that the man in his arms was alive, and it served to once again remind Kagura just how close his partner had been to death. It was then and there, that he decided he wouldn't let his partner come to harm like this again, not on his watch anyways. He would hound and teach him the tricks he had picked up, show him how to survive this kind of a lifestyle even without having any power. Hey, if a human could do it so could a gijinka right? Though, Vegas probably wasn't going to like following orders. The hallway ended, emolga pouncing and pawing at the door handle to open it for his trainer - whose hands were quite occupied at the moment. The blonde carries his partner outside, the great stone building rising above them and giving them shade to rest in. He looked down at the young man, smiling softly and managing a few more steps before his legs started to give away. He half rolled half fell, careful not to crush Vegas as he tumbled onto the ground and landed in an awkward position on his back. For a moment he was slightly stunned, not having notice his heavy breathing or the weakness in his body until now. The moment the shock subsided however, the human burst out laughing. Finishing in a small fit of giggles he lay on the cement, taking in the cool feeling of the concrete on his back and the shade on his face. "Let me just... rest for a moment okay?" His breathe was heavy, but even then he could feel the warmth of Kagura pressed against his cheek, seeping through the other's clothing. The fact that the heartbeat was loud and clear and somehow in time with his, made Vegas gulp, making him more nervous then ever as he squirmed more. No matter how much he squirmed though, Vegas was beginning to realize he was in no way about to walk on his own, and as such the attempts were only-half hearted.
