WILD ARCHEN APPEARED! [/style] Archen || Female || Defeatist || Rock/Flying || level 6 Quick Attack || Leer || Wing Attack || Rock ThrowThe Archen didn't hesitate to press her wing against the button of the pokeball when it was presented to her. She knew that this trainer was a good one and she was sure that she'd find a good home with his help. Hopefully they wouldn't be with any more Onix's though! She was scooped up in a flash of light into the pokeball.
Ding... Ding... Ding!
The pokeball twitched lightly as if its new occupant was settling before going still. Seemed this little girl was quite ready for a new home.
The Archen has been caught!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD ONIX APPEARED! [/style] Onix || Male || Rock Head || Rock/Ground || level 5 Mud Sport || Tackle || Harden || Bind || CurseThe Onix didn't even feel the pokeball hit his side. He wasn't aware of much being knocked out and was promptly scooped up into the pokeball in a flash of light.
Ding... Ding... Ding!
The pokeball barely twitched before settling as if the pokemon didn't have the energy to keep fighting any more.
The Onix has been caught!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD SIGILYPH APPEARED! [/style] Sigilyph || Male || Magic Guard || Flying/Psychic || level 8 Gust || Miracle eye || Hypnosis || PsywaveThe Sigilyph was surprised that the trainer was kind to the little Archen, even more so that she seemed so eager to go with him. He watched passively as the fossil pokemon and the fallen Onix were caught, though he didn't hold it against them. He was more distracted by the fact that the trainer and his Drifloon didn't seem to like his presence very much. Well he could say the same for them thanks much. They were in his territory after all.
Then the Drifloon was attacking him.
The dual type dodged the first round, though he couldn't quite escape the second round that was thrown at him. He grunted softly as the attack landed glaring at the little yellow Drifloon and her trainer. They wanted a fight did they? Well he'd give them a fight that was for sure. He wasn't one to back down from any sort of fight after all. His ancestors had guarded castles and other places, fighting was in his blood! A wind picked up around him as he lashed out at the Drifloon with a strong Gust.
Lets see how she handled that.
WILD BURMY APPEARED! [/style] Burmy || female || Shed Skin || Bug/Grass || level 5 ProtectThe little Burmy eyed the scene warily. It seemed like the trainer didn't really like the dual type that had shown up. She didn't like them either. They were always knocking her over and then getting angry at her for getting in their way. She huffed lightly, forgetting about the fact that the trainer had another pokemon out until he was hovering above her hiding place. She squeaked a bit in surprise staring up at the Gastly eyes wide.
Then he managed to roll himself upside down.
She couldn't help finding this slightly amusing and made an amused sound at the sight. Well he didn't seem so bad. And her mama had told her that all Psychic types were just big jerks that liked to be mean to others. Maybe she ought to bring him home and tell her mama what she'd seen. Nah her mama would just scold her for putting herself near danger... again. Whatever she was an independent Burmy! She could fend for herself she could and she would prove it too.
First though, what to do about the Gastly and his trainer?

[/div][/center] Noah smiled at the Pokeball wriggling in his hand, pulling it up and tucking it away into his jacket, yawning slightly as he stretched. Mrrrr, he hadn't been quite finished with his nap. And now that the Onix was taken care of - he paused then, his brow furrowing in thought that he was forgetting something before the Pokeball that he'd thrown came back to him, colliding with his head and making the Cofagrigus Gijinka rub the sore spot, pouting as he bent over to tuck that Pokeball away too - he was free to relax and go back to napping. Not that he had been napping earlier, of course, just resting his eyes and trying to get in touch with the Cofagrigus inside him. It still frustrated the sandy blond that time communicating with the Pokemon that had been infused into him would come and go so easily, and besides, it's not like there was anything better to do. He'd rather not go clubbing quite yet, it was a little too early for anyone fun to be in the smoke-filled places anyway. Disregarding the Sigilyph he'd been staring at uneasily not a moment earlier, the easy-going male flopped himself out on the bench again, sprawling himself out and closing his eyes, using his forearm to block out some of the light from the lavender orbs. Downdraft and Grudge knew how to behave, they'd keep out of trouble well enough on their own.
Downdraft let out a soft coo of alarm as the wind began to pick up, the little yellow Drifloon easily being tossed around by the changes in the wind before she firmed herself and pushed herself up higher, avoiding the buffeting just in time to dodge the attack that sent her string-arms spinning. She cooed, firing back another Shadow Ball from between her arms. She wasn't going to take such a thing lying down! Not like Grudge was the little Burmy anyway. The Gastly whined, pouting a little at the fact that she was laughing at him, before he grinned, deciding to lean in and playfully nuzzle her. So he wanted to play with her, so what? He wasn't going to play a joke on her, that would be mean, but that by no means meant that he had to leave her alone. He could be a good Pokemon when he wanted to be.

WILD SIGILYPH APPEARED! [/style] Sigilyph || Male || Magic Guard || Flying/Psychic || level 8 Gust || Miracle eye || Hypnosis || PsywaveThe Sigilyph was not happy with the little Drifloon. He'd only been watching! There was no need for her to attack! He growled softly as she dodged his attack though he gave a slight nod of approval. Good reaction time, that was a plus. He liked fighting worthy opponents. He dodged the Shadow Balls that she threw at him, noticing her trainer had gone back to his nap. Well... that was ... odd. The dual type was very confused by this though it didn't distract him for too long. He turned his attention back to the Drifloon sizing her up for a moment.
Then he lashed out with another Gust hoping to catch her off guard.
WILD BURMY APPEARED! [/style] Burmy || female || Shed Skin || Bug/Grass || level 5 ProtectThe little Burmy giggled as the Gastly pouted, deciding she very much liked this Ghost type. He seemed sweet if a bit of a prankster. He was definitely playful and well she did like to play. She cooed softy at the nuzzle, batting at him playfully with her paw. Silly that tickled! Burmy bur! she eyed the sleeping trainer for a moment. He was sleeping? When his pokemon was battling? She couldn't decide if she considered that over confidence or just being lazy.
Maybe a bit of both?
Oh well it wasn't like it mattered really. She'd made up her mind, she liked this group. She was going to stick with them since she didn't want to go back home. She was independent, but she wasn't a lone wolf. She liked being around others and if all this man's pokemon were this nice and playful well she could live with that.
The Burmy is willing to go with Noah and can now be caught!

[style=width: 406px; background-color: #deb887; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: right; padding: 2px; color: #fff;] Take what you need until your body's numb! [/div][/center] Downdraft puffed up a little when she saw the Sigilyph had dodged her attack, the little yellow Drifloon floating up another foot or two in the air before she calmed herself and floated down a little more. She wouldn't lose her temper here. She would need a clear head if she was supposed to win this battle. She noticed Noah had wandered back to the bench out of the corner of her eye, but she didn't have any time to muse over what that could mean, instead focusing on quickly dropping altitude to avoid the second attack on her person, not wanting to get blown around like a sock tied to a radiator. She narrowly managed to dodge the attack, the Drifloon gazing proudly at the Sigilyph as she shot off yet another blob of darkness, a Shadow Ball attack.
Grudge, meanwhile, chuckled at the paw, unable to stop himself from licking it childishly. He then cocked his head when he saw how determined she seemed to be to stay with them. Well... in that case... he supposed he had better get her a Pokeball. Noah had some of those. Floating over to his Trainer, the dual type hovered there for a moment before he licked Noah's face slowly, causing the Gijinka to splutter and shove him away. "Grudgeeeeeeee, that's gross!" the sandy blond complained, wrinkling his nose as he reached up with his hand to get the Pokemon's saliva off his skin. Yuck. Why did he have to get such a troublesome Gastly? Oh right. Because they showed up at his apartment and wouldn't leave him alone. Grumbling curses under his breath, he sat up and blinked at the sight of the Burmy before him. "Huh? What you doing here little girl?" he asked curiously, leaning down to her before his brow furrowed when Grudge nudged his back. "What?" he asked huffily, lavender eyes narrowed, and when Grudge rolled his eyes and tried to get in his pocket, he realized what was the other was trying to get at. "Oh, the Burmy wants to come with us!" he cried, grinning as he dug out a Pokeball. "Sure thing, little girl, you can come with us if you want!"

WILD SIGILYPH APPEARED! [/style] Sigilyph || Male || Magic Guard || Flying/Psychic || level 8 Gust || Miracle eye || Hypnosis || PsywaveThe Sigilyph let out a growl as the Drifloon dodged his attack. This would not do. He was not about to let this little upstart defy him! He dodged the Shadow Balls she threw at him, narrowly avoiding them and used another Gust. He was not going to take this lying down. He was not!
WILD BURMY APPEARED! [/style] Burmy || female || Shed Skin || Bug/Grass || level 5 ProtectThe little Burmy giggled again as the Gastly licked her paw. That tickled! She followed him as he went over to his trainer. Burmy. the dual type titled her head slightly at the man as he started to lean closer. Then Grudge seemed to get the message across that she wanted to come with them. She squeaked happily as the man pulled out a pokeball and pressed her paw against the button when it was offered to her. The Burmy was scooped up into the pokeball in a bright flash of light.
Ding... Ding... Ding!
The pokeball settled into Noah's hand quickly only moving enough to suggest the Burmy made room for herself before settling down.
The Burmy has been caught!
WILD PETILIL APPEARED! [/style] Petilil || Female || Own Tempo || Grass || level 5 Absorb || GrowthThe little Petilil was in a word lost. She'd been separated from her family and couldn't find them. Sniffling softly she whimpered as she scurried along trying to find them. She'd been looking for some time though and she was close to giving up. She'd checked all the usual places that she could remember but they hadn't been there. She let out a whine as she paused glancing around.
Petilil! she cried plaintively. Where were they?! She continued coming across the battling dual type and the Drifloon her eyes widening. Oh no she didn't want to get in the middle of that! She started backing away when the Sigilyph's Gust caught her unawares sending her flying back with a squeal to land in the branches of a nearby tree. She clung to the branch, terrified and shaking as she tried to make herself as small as possible.
Oh today was not her day!

[style=width: 406px; background-color: #deb887; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: right; padding: 2px; color: #fff;] Take what you need until your body's numb! [/div][/center] Downdraft puffed up again when the stupid Sigilyph dodged her attack again. Ughhhhh, how many times was this thing going to dodge before she hit him! Her eyes narrowed and she acted rashly, something rather unlike the usually sweet-tempered yellow Drifloon. She threw another two Shadow Balls at the Sigilyph, one right after the other, and then she squealed as the buffeting winds she didn't have time to avoid battered her body, sending her flying away, unable to anchor herself for a prolonged moment of terror before suddenly, there was a firm jerk on one of her string-arms, grounding her, and she looked down with wide eyes to see none other than her Trainer with a gentle smile for her. "Calm down, Downdraft," he murmured softly, tugging her down and helping her get adjusted again. "You can take care of this Pokemon. I have faith in you."
He had pocketed the Pokeball with the Burmy in it, the little girl resting there easily, and then he raised a hand up to trail it in and out of Grudge's smoke lazily, the Gastly getting into the "game" and deciding to try to lick the Gijinka's tanned fingers at every pass. He saw a flash of something out of the corner of his eye and, not knowing if it were friend or foe, he reacted immediately and instinctively to protect himself and his Pokemon. "Grudge, use Shadow Ball on that tree!" he cried, and the Gastly was quick to respond, gathering up the needed darkness and hurling it in the direction his Trainer had indicated, just as wary of whatever it was that Noah was reacting to. The easy-going, flirtatious Cofagrigus Gijinka wouldn't act like that for no reason, after all...

WILD SIGILYPH APPEARED! [/style] Sigilyph || Male || Magic Guard || Flying/Psychic || level 8 Gust || Miracle eye || Hypnosis || PsywaveThe Sigilyph grunted as he was hit with a pair of Shadow Balls. That was going to leave a bruise. He shook it off, though the hit had cost him and cackled darkly as the Drifloon was caught by his Gust allowing himself a moment of triumph. Then of course her lazy trainer had to interfere. He scowled at the trainer and his Gastly but they were distracted by something. He didn't really care, though, he was focused on his fight, like a good warrior always was.
He let loose a Psywave that he quickly followed up with another Gust. He'd show them he was not to be messed with!
WILD PETILIL APPEARED! [/style] Petilil || Female || Own Tempo || Grass || level 5 Absorb || GrowthThe little Petilil was terrified and when the trainer and his Gastly attacked? She went into a panic. Petil petil! she cried out starting to flail some and ending up slipping off the branch. She let out a shriek as she fell, trying to grab hold of something to stop her descent. Only she got hit with one of the Shadow Balls instead which sent her flying back to smack into the tree trunk with a cry. She tumbled down to rest at the base of the tree, whimpering and sniffling.
That had really hurt and oh why had they been so mean?!
Petilil. she whined curling up in a little ball. Her body hurt so much she couldn't move! Now she wished she hadn't been separated from her family. She peeked out at the trainer and his pokemon eyeing them warily through her tears as she shook. She didn't like humans, not any more!

[/div][/center] Downdraft squealed when Noah pulled her back from another pair of attacks, the Cofagrigus Gijinka wrapping his arms around her and holding her to his chest, the male crying out with his head falling back when the two hit the male. "Floon?" she cooed, looking up at him with large eyes, and she brought one of her string-arms up to stroke his cheek concernedly. He was panting, his sandy blond hair hanging over his face, but at the touch, he shook the strands out, the faintest edges of an attempt at a smile pulling at his lips. "I'm okay, Downdraft," he murmured, opening his arms a little. "Just fine." The little yellow Drifloon, however, puffed up more, her eyes flashing. She would make that Sigilyph pay for hurting her Trainer like that!
Grudge saw what happened to Noah, and immediately the little Gastly saw red. How dare these Pokemon hurt his Trainer! Noah hadn't even been doing anything, and they'd attacked him for no good reason! Fuming, and in his current state of mind refusing to accept that anyone could possibly not mean to attempt the same feat, he shot off another couple of Shadow Balls at the Petilil that fell out of the tree. He would strike out now, before they had a chance to try to hurt his Trainer. Noah hadn't deserved that! He hadn't deserved any of it! He'd make them pay, he promised!
