[/div][/center] Noah was bored. The park was nice today, yes, but well... it just wasn't as fun when it was all bright out. He wasn't hungover, thank Arceus, because if he was, he was pretty sure the birdsong and the bright sunshine would have taken him down without too much of a fight. Instead, he was left to find his way to a shady bench and sprawl there, his platinum blond hair haloing out around him and occasionally tickling his nose as the gentle breeze playfully pushed a few errant strands over his face. His eyes were closed and he almost seemed asleep on the bench there. His Pokemon were usually quite well-behaved, he trusted them not to get up to anything too stupid.
In fact, they weren't. Downdraft was just floating around, having managed to round Grudge back up from where he had been stealing towards some random people, his intent clear in his eyes. Licking other people just for the hell of it was not okay. It was even less okay considering that he could very well Paralyze them with little effort on his part. She glanced back behind her a few times as she guided him back closer to Noah, making sure he was following her. Honestly, she wouldn't put it past the mischievous Gastly to run off on her without any warning. But that was why she would take charge of Noah's Pokemon in times like this. She was the kindest of them and she knew how to get them to listen to her. She just hoped no one tried to pick a fight with them because if they did, she’d rather not get Noah in trouble for letting them play a little, Because they would fight if someone threw the first punch. Oh, she really didn’t want them causing trouble for anyone...

WILD PIDOVE APPEARED! [/style] Pidove || female || Super Luck || Normal/Flying || level 2 Gust The little Pidove was quite enjoying herself. She was exploring the park since she'd only recently hatched. It was her new world and she wanted to know all about it. Hopping around she cooed softly at everything. Her new world was so BIG! How was she going to see all of it? Well she might not see all of it today but that was okay! She had her whole life to explore yeah? Hopping and fluttering along she suddenly came across a bench that had something draped across it and a couple of pokemon.
What were they doing floating around that draped-thing for?
Curious the little bird crept closer cocking her head this way and that as she tried to figure out what Grudge and Downdraft were doing. Cheeping softly she hopped up to the bench that Noah rested on studying him for a moment. Was the drape-thing sleeping? That was odd, it should be playing! Maybe it would want to play with her! Crouching down she eyed the resting man a moment longer before hopping up onto his chest with a loud cheep of victory. She'd pounced him! Yay! Now surely he'd play with her wouldn't he? She gave him her cutest face as she gave another cheep. He'd play yes?
WILD TURTWIG APPEARED! [/style] IT'S SHINY!Turtwig || Male || Overgrow || Grass || level 4 Tackle So, the Turtwig was minding his own business really. He was just looking for berries in the bushes. So far though he wasn't having any real luck. Those berries just didn't want to be found apparently which didn't help his rumbling tummy one bit. He gave a sigh as yet another bush turned up berry-less and sat on his haunches. Well, this was a predicament. He didn't know of anywhere else to look for those sweet juicy berries he loved. He pouted a bit considering what to do when he heard something. The grass type decided to check it out. Cautiously going over he headed toward the source of the noise.
Which was a human and their pokemon.
Huh that was neat. He didn't see people too often, being shy like he was. The Pidove though, she was going to get herself hurt if she kept that up. Silly little thing she was but she was just a baby so he could excuse it. She apparently needed to learn quickly if she was going to make it because not all humans were nice. He hoped that the man wouldn't hurt the Pidove. She apparently just wanted to play. He watched the scene his head cocked just slightly.
What would happen?

[style=width: 406px; background-color: #deb887; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: right; padding: 2px; color: #fff;] Take what you need until your body's numb! [/div][/center] Grudge immediately zeroed in on the Pidove. His eyes followed the little creeping bird, watching her every movement closely, and then he slowly parted from Downdraft's side, slowly floating closer and closer until he was close enough to stick his tongue out and lick her. He chuckled darkly, rubbing his tongue all over the other Pokemon before he drew back at Downdraft's scolding, pouting. He was only having a little fun! Jeez, leave it to her to be a party pooper! But... the Pidove could bother Noah... and he was fairly certain the Cofagrigus Gijinka had fallen asleep... Smirking as the justification arrived in his mind, the Gastly concentrated hard on what he'd been taught a while ago by TM, struggling to summon up some electricity along his surface before he spat it out at the Pidove in a Thunderbolt attack. Downdraft immediately widened her eyes, flying upwards away from Grudge as fast as she could, well aware that if he hit her, she'd take a good deal of damage from that attack. Still, she didn't approve of his tactics, especially when she saw him throw another Thunderbolt in the poor bird's direction. Honestly, didn't the little girl deserve a break? She hadn't come meaning harm... and besides, that last attack had actually gotten Noah, at least hitting him with a little bit of the attack, if not the whole thing.
The platinum blond groaned at the sudden shock, tossing his head groggily. That had hurt. That had hurt a lot. He cracked his eyes open, immediately seeing Grudge cackling as he terrorized some poor Pokemon... a Pidove? "Grudge, knock that off," he scolded, glaring at the upstart Gastly. "She didn't mean any harm." The ball of energy pouted, but Noah's attention was drawn from his troublemaker by the sight of a Pokemon he knew was both rare and common in these parts... a Turtwig. But something was different about this one... the coloring wasn't right. His eyes widened as he quickly put two and two together. The Grass-type was like Downdraft. "Hey there little guy," he murmured softly, slowly sitting up on the bench, using movements that could be easily anticipated in case the Pokemon was shy. "There's no need to be afraid. I don't want to hurt you. Grudge there was just being stupid."

WILD PIDOVE APPEARED! [/style] Pidove || female || Super Luck || Normal/Flying || level 2 Gust The little Pidove was startled when the Ghastly licked her. She flailed a bit cheeping indignantly at him. What had he done that for? She'd only wanted to play. Then she was being hit by a couple of Thunderbolts, the second one sending her flying. She let out a startled squeak as she hit the ground. She tried to get to her feet but her legs wouldn't work. She let out a confused cheep, her body sore. Suddenly everything was going dark despite all her efforts to remain awake. Her eyes closed as she fainted, oblivious to the rest of the world.
The Pidove has fainted and can now be caught! Grudge gained two levels!
[/i][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD TURTWIG APPEARED! [/style] IT'S SHINY!Turtwig || Male || Overgrow || Grass || level 4 Tackle The Turtwig was not happy with that Ghastly. For shame, picking on that poor little Pidove. Shaking its head, the grass type had stood preparing to step in, when the Pidove retaliated with an attack. Well then, perhaps not as helpless as he'd thought. He cocked his head as the human spoke, first scolding the Ghastly then addressing him. He didn't want to hurt him? When Grudge had gone after that Pidove for no reason? Even if the Ghastly was being stupid, the Turtwig was not and he wasn't so sure he believed that man. The grass-type seemed to size up the situation for a moment.
Could he trust the human?
He really didn't like that Ghastly, not one little bit. He didn't think it had properly learned its lesson for attacking the other pokemon without reason. He took a step back, still not sure for the moment whether or not going with this human was a good idea. The human he didn't mind, the other pokemon? Well Grudge would need a lesson in manners and quickly, that was for sure.

[/div][/center] As soon as Downdraft realized that Grudge had made the Pidove faint, she puffed out, her string arms coming up to smack at the little ball, eyes communicating the scolding she couldn't. Grudge just let out a yelp, trying to cower away from her, but the yellow Drifloon followed him persistently, not feeling like she'd punished him thoroughly enough yet. It took a gentle tug on one of her strings for her to blink, looking over at the source, none other than her Trainer. "I know, Downdraft," he murmured softly. "I know." She relaxed a little, feeling a little guilty now when she was seeing how Grudge was floating upside-down, his eyes squeezed shut in preparation for another smack. The oddly-colored Drifloon patted him gently on the head, waiting until the Gastly's eyes opened before she made a little apology. Grudge just huffed and rolled back over, pouting, but Noah left him to sulk well enough on his own. He'd figure out he was in the wrong eventually. Instead, he turned his attention back to the Turtwig. "I really am sorry about that... Grudge was supposed to behave himself. He's a handful, and while he's also usually much better behaved, he also has a tendency to enjoy pranking people." He shrugged slightly, falling into the habit of rehashing the argument the same way he always would did to the angry lovers who had their things go missing. "He's not mean-spirited, he just has a little bit of a mean way of thinking about fun." Grudge pouted at that. He was the way he was so that Noah would have someone to love him! Granted, his plans never worked out, mostly since the humans were too busy screaming about the place being haunted and all that kind of thing, but he still tried. Well aware of what he was thinking, Downdraft glared at the Gastly before she shook her head and floated towards the other Pokemon with the strange coloring. Noah was a kind person, she knew he was. That was why as she was going over, she knew that he was padding over to the little Pidove to offer her a quiet apology and then press a Pokeball to whatever part of her he thought would hurt the least. He'd take her to a Center, patch her up, and then figure things out from there. He always did.

WILD PIDOVE APPEARED! [/style] Pidove || female || Super Luck || Normal/Flying || level 2 Gust The little Pidove didn't feel the pokeball against her side, nor the apology the man gave. Her body disappeared in a flash of light and the pokeball twitched in the man's hand.
Ding Ding Ding!
She would likely adjust well to whatever home she ended up in.
The Pidove has been caught!
[/i][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD TURTWIG APPEARED! [/style] IT'S SHINY!Turtwig || Male || Overgrow || Grass || level 4 Tackle The Turtwig studied the two pokemon as the Drifloon scolded the Ghastly. Well, that would work for now. He listened as the trainer spoke seeming to contemplate his words. He'd never had a trainer before and it wasn't that he didn't want one, he just wasn't sure he trusted that Ghastly. The grass-type glanced up at the oddly colored Drifloon and tilted his head slightly at her, wondering what she wanted for a moment before hearing the trainer move. He blinked, a little surprised that the man was being so gentle.
Well then.
He made up his mind and trotted over to the trainer. "Turtwig." the grass type sat by the trainer, clearly stating his loyalties. He would stick with this trainer for now.
The Turtwig is willing to go with Noah and can be caught!
WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Skarmory || male || Keen eye || Steel/Flying || level 4 Leer || Peck The Skarmory had been watching the whole time. Stupid Turtwig would regret going with the trainer. He knew, he'd had a trainer once. His trainer had abandoned him to the wild, though without rhyme or reason. The bitter dual type hissed softly at the trainer and his pokemon. Humans, they were stupid the lot of them. He spread his wings and took off with a screech. He circled the group eyeing them as he sized them up. Without a thought the dual type bird was diving and aiming a Peck attack at Noah with a screech.
He'd free the pokemon from that trainer so they'd know a better life!

[/div][/center] Noah smiled softly when the Pidove was yanked up into the Pokeball, feeling it settle in his hands before he blinked at the unexpected sound at his side. He turned to see the Turtwig sitting there innocently, and with that, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Wanna come with me, huh?" he asked, running a hand through his sandy blond hair, ruffling it. "Well, all right then. You can stay with me for a while." He rummaged around in his pockets until he found another Pokeball, pulling it out with a grin and then expanding it, offering it to the Turtwig with a smile. The male cried out though when he felt a hard beak hit his back, dropping the Pokeball as he instinctively threw his hands out to keep himself from falling flat on his face. Eyes narrowing, he lifted his gaze up to meet the gaze of the Skarmory. That bird was fucking dead. Downdraft, recognizing the signs of her Trainer being pissed as all hell - and having never seen his temper before, the Cofagrigus Gijinka always having an easy-going smile and a laugh ready for any who wanted it - she was more than a little worried. Hoping to defuse it, she gathered up as much electricity in her as she could before throwing it at the Skarmory in a Thunderbolt attack, but it didn't do any good. Noah was going to deal with this himself. The Cofagrigus Gijinka narrowed his lavender eyes, and instantly, it became obvious what he did as the wind darkened with shadows and rapidly moved towards the Skarmory in an Ominous Wind attack. He was operating on instinct now, and the only thing he currently understood was to attack to keep himself from being hit again.

WILD TURTWIG APPEARED! [/style] IT'S SHINY!Turtwig || Male || Overgrow || Grass || level 4 Tackle The Turtwig had started extending a paw to accept the pokeball when the Skarmory attacked. Letting out a startled sound, the grass type backed up a pace, only to see just how pissed off the trainer had become. Oh dear, this was not going to end well for the Skarmory. Stupid bird, attacking the man like that! He'd gathered himself for an attack when the Drifloon sent out a Thunderbolt which was followed shortly after by the Gijinka's Ominous Wind. The Turtwig paused, then realized that the Gijinka was so pissed off he was focused only on the Skarmory.
That wouldn't do.
The Turtwig moved to press against Noah's leg, trying to nudge him away. It might not get him to stop fighting but if it made the man calm down enough to think straight, the grass type would be more than happy. He knew Noah was pissed and he didn't blame the trainer one little bit. That Skarmory had been out of line but he needed to keep his head, which he clearly was not doing. So the Turtwig was going to try and calm him if he could. If not ...
That Skarmory was screwed-wait he already was.
Well then.
The Turtwig is still willing to go with Noah... he just got away from me. Feel free to use him from now on.
WILD SKARMORY APPEARED! [/style] Skarmory || male || Keen eye || Steel/Flying || level 4 Leer || Peck Yes, he'd hit! The Skarmory let out a crow of delight as he took off to gain height advantage. Now all the pokemon had to do was run-why weren't they running? Didn't they see that he'd freed them and they could go? The Skarmory was puzzled and was taken by surprise at the Drifloon's attack. Electricity crackled along his body as the Thunderbolt hit and the steel type let out a startled cry. He was knocked into a tree, nearby and barely managed to grasp a branch to keep from slamming into the trunk of said tree. He shook himself, shaking off the dazed feeling the attack had created.
Oh that Drifloon was so in trouble!
With a hiss, the Skarmory turned to the group below, seeing the Ominous Wind attack heading his way. Well, that was convenient, wasn't it. Ghost type attacks didn't affect him, so he'd just have to worry about the electric attacks the other two pokemon could use. That shouldn't be too difficult. With that thought in mind, the Skarmory let out a war cry, launching off the branch and heading toward Noah with another Peck attack. His body hurt from the Thunderbolt but he wasn't going down without a fight. Unfortunately the Ominous Wind would be his undoing. He was caught in the updraft and slammed back into the tree, letting out a pained cry. He slid to the base of the tree, landing in a heap and a world of pain.
His vision grayed around the edges as darkness swept over him.
The wild Skarmory has fainted and can now be caught! Downdraft gained 1 level and is now level 4!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] [ OOC: Stupid, stupid bird. Anywho ... yeah the Turtwig is yours and I'll toss in another pokemon in my next post since I played him here. If that's okay of course. Just smack me if it isn't and I'll fix it! ]

[/div][/center] Noah watched coldly as his attack impacted the Skarmory, his eyes narrowed as his eyes followed the path of the Pokemon before he felt something that made him blink and look down. His eyes widened a little when he saw the Turtwig was still next to him even after he'd acted so coldly. The platinum blond shook his head, his lavender eyes slipping shut. He didn't know what had come over him, all he knew was that he had lashed out blindly, letting instinct guide him. Maybe it was a result of his transfusion? After all, Cofagriguses had been used to guard the tombs of pharaohs back in the day. It would make sense for them to react negatively to attacks, though he still shivered a little at the memory of how much anger had swept through his body. He'd have to be careful now, he didn't want anything like this coming out in a bar. While some people might have been turned on by such a display, it wasn't how Noah liked his pleasure, and he didn't really want to be taken advantage of just because he was powerful and had lost his head. Alcohol had done some strange things to him before...
A sigh escaped him as he reached a hand down to stroke the Turtwig's head. "Thanks," he murmured softly, a fond smile twitching at his lips. "I owe you one." His lips pursed in momentary thought and he shook his head, rummaging around in his pocket until he pulled out a familiar white and red ball, expanding it with a push of his fingers and then tossing it at the Skarmory, figuring that as aggressive as the bird had been, the poor guy still deserved someone to show him that not all Trainers were bad. He then took his eyes from the dual-type to see that Downdraft was drifting back over to him, the little yellow Drifloon smiling at him in her quiet way. "Stay close, Draft," he stated quietly, smiling kindly right back at her before he raised his voice to include Grudge, who was floating up licking at the Apricorns in a tree a short distance away. "You don't know what kind of enemies are lurking nearby." He then leaned over, picking up the Pokeball he'd dropped, brushing some of the dirt off it before he offered it to the little Grass-type. "Let's try this again, shall we? Would you like to come with me for a while?"

WILD TURTWIG APPEARED! [/style] IT'S SHINY!Turtwig || Male || Overgrow || Grass || level 4 Tackle The Turtwig was so glad that the trainer seemed to calm down and surprisingly quickly too for how angry he'd been. In any event the little grass type was just glad that he had calmed. The Skarmory had fainted too, so that probably helped. The Turtwig cocked his head as Noah's eyes slipped closed for a moment, eyeing the man. Then Noah was bending down to stroke his head and the grass type let out a content hum, bumping the man's hand gently as the Skarmory was scooped up into the pokeball to be dealt with later.
This time when Noah offered him the pokeball, the Turtwig immediately pressed a paw to the button, disappearing into the pokeball in a flash of light. The ball wriggled slightly as if the Turtwig was settling in, making himself comfortable.
Ding... Ding... Ding!
Now it was off to new adventures for the Turtwig.
The Turtwig has been caught! Congrats!
WILD SKARMORY APPEARED! [/style] Skarmory || male || Keen eye || Steel/Flying || level 4 Leer || Peck The Skarmory barely felt the pokeball hit his side, being out cold from the pain. He was enveloped in a flash of light disappearing into the pokeball.

The wild Skarmory has been caught! Congrats!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD ARCHEN APPEARED! [/style] Archen || Female || Defeatist || Rock/Flying || level 6 Quick Attack || Leer || Wing Attack || Rock Throw A loud wail rent the air as Noah was busy with his new Turtwig and Skarmory. It was accompanied by a loud roar and slight tremors along the ground. A sudden squawk and a flash of color heralded the arrival of a very distressed Archen who was clearly on the run from something. She had more than a few ruffled feathers as she scampered along the ground as fast as she could manage, not being able to fly. She was looking for a place to hide from what was following her. It was enormous compared to herself and she was frankly terrified. She spotted Noah suddenly and with a plaintive cry scurried toward him.
Then she dove under the bench, shaking in fear.
Just as a thundering roar revealed the arrival of one very pissed off Onix.
WILD ONIX APPEARED! [/style] Onix || Male || Rock Head || Rock/Ground || level 5 Mud Sport || Tackle || Harden || Bind || Curse Oh that stupid little bird was going to get it! She'd ruined his nest and now he had to build it all over again. Stupid stupid little bird was going to pay for that! The Onix was pissed beyond anger as he chased after the Archen, not paying attention to his surroundings or he'd not have followed her. He didn't like humans at all. No he wasn't stupid enough to attack them unless provoked but sometimes he wanted to smash their silly heads in, like he now wanted to do with this damn Archen.
Growling he let out a roar as she evaded his bind attack and scurried off. He was quick to follow her and they ended up in a more open space. He saw her dive under the bench just as he saw Noah and his pokemon. He roared in frustration, tail slamming into the ground in a fit of rage. This human wasn't going to interfere! The little brat deserved the punishment! He'd worked hard on that nest after all. It was for his mate and now she was going to leave him, he knew it. He aimed a Tackle attack at the Archen, not caring that the bench was in the way.
He was too pissed off to really care about much beyond retaliation in all honesty.
[ OOC: Pssst. Trace says he'll take the Skarmory off Noah as a trade for Fuzzlefluff *shotsohard* ]

[/div][/center] Noah slipped both of the Pokeballs into his pocket, his brow furrowing as he heard the clamor. Standing up warily, he saw his ghosts close ranks around him protectively, none of the three of them liking the sound of this. His brow furrowed at the flash of color, not quite recognizing the Pokemon before a flash of insight from deep inside him revealed itself. This was an Archen, which were rumored to have been around before even humans. But what was such an ancient species doing around the park? It confused Noah to no end, and right as he began to open his mouth to ask her, she darted past him to hide under the bench he'd been sleeping on before, and he couldn't ask her because of the huge Onix that had appeared. Shit. This was not good, not good at all. A look on either side of him confirmed his suspicions about this, and he couldn't help but gulp at the large creature. He didn't really want to have to fight something this big... but he didn't have a choice. He wasn't going to leave the poor Archen to fight this thing, at least not alone. "Right... um..." he began, looking at either of his Pokemon confusedly, not really sure who he wanted to have battle such a large Pokemon, but the choice was made for him when Grudge cackled and darted forward, taking the Tackle easily and not taking any damage from it because of the fact that he was a Ghost-Type. He cackled darkly, gathering up some shadows from his surroundings and throwing the ball at the Onix in a Shadow Ball attack. Well... that worked... "Grudge, use another Shadow Ball!" the Cofagrigus Gijinka called, the little ball nodding and obeying as he quickly hurled another at the large Pokemon. He'd have to be careful, such a huge creature could easily crush them all without a whole lot of effort!

WILD ARCHEN APPEARED! [/style] Archen || Female || Defeatist || Rock/Flying || level 6 Quick Attack || Leer || Wing Attack || Rock ThrowThe terrified Archen was shaking like a leaf from her hiding spot under the bench. Her eyes widened slightly as she saw the Ghastly go after the Onix. Such a brave ghost type! Then again she hadn't met a Ghastly who was afraid of anything, unlike herself. Well, she did have a good reason to be afraid of the Onix. It was so big! And she was so small in comparison. She couldn't let the Ghost types fend off the Onix all by themselves though!
But she was so scared!
What could she do? She wanted to help so bad. Suddenly an idea hit her. She didn't know why she hadn't thought of it before. She poked her head out from under the bench quickly sizing up the situation before mustering all her courage to aim a Leer at the Onix. Then she was darting back under the bench to hide again.
WILD ONIX APPEARED! [/style] Onix || Male || Rock Head || Rock/Ground || level 5 Mud Sport || Tackle || Harden || Bind || CurseOh. He wasn't expecting the Ghastly to interfere. The Onix snarled shaking off the Leer that was thrown at him from the pesky little bird. He growled, startled, as the Ghastly's attack hit him wincing slightly as he aborted his initial attack. Stupid ghost pokemon, interfering in justice. He'd show the ghost-type he wasn't a pokemon to be messed with.
With a roar the rock type lunged toward the Ghastly with a Bind attack, using a Harden as he did so. Wouldn't do him any good to be taken out before he'd knocked the Ghastly a new one, now. He might be pissed off but he was still thinking fairly straight. He should have remembered that Ghost types weren't affected by Normal attacks. Oh well, he'd figure that out eventually.
One could hope.

[style=width: 406px; background-color: #deb887; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: right; padding: 2px; color: #fff;] Take what you need until your body's numb! [/div][/center] Downdraft let out a soft croon when she saw the little Archen cowering under the bench behind Noah. The little yellow Drifloon looked at her Trainer for a moment before she caught his attention and the sandy blond turned curious lavender eyes on her. She tilted her head to the side, indicating the bench and the other Flying-type hiding under it, and Noah chuckled, understanding what she wanted in an instant. "Go right ahead," he encouraged gently, nodding. "Grudge and I got this." She cooed softly, rubbing his arm affectionately with her body before she dipped down, her string-arms trailing against the ground as she made her way back to the fossil Pokemon, fully intending on soothing her. Noah chuckled softly at the sight of his kind-hearted Drifloon before he turned his gaze back to the troublesome Onix before him, frowning. He wasn't really looking forward to trying to take this down with Grudge, but he could do it. The Gastly was a stubborn little guy, and he had every faith that the Gastly could manage it. "All right, Grudge, let's try another couple of Shadow Balls!" he called, and the Gastly nodded, cackling as he took another attack that did nothing to him due to his type before he quickly gathered up a couple more purplish balls and fired them in rapid succession at the Onix. This was great fun, he always liked a fight he could go up against with only attacking and little worry for a return volly because of his own nature.
Downdraft drifted under the bench quietly, the gentlest countenance she could muster on her little face. "Floon drifloon?" she cooed softly. 'Are you okay?' she asked, concern shining through. She always had a kind heart, and this Archen was no exception to her urge to show others care. "Floon floon drifloon," she continued, bobbing in the air with a gentle nod. 'You don't have to be scared, Noah and Grudge will protect you.'

WILD ARCHEN APPEARED! [/style] Archen || Female || Defeatist || Rock/Flying || level 6 Quick Attack || Leer || Wing Attack || Rock ThrowThe Archen blinked up at the Drifloon as Downdraft approached cocking her head to the side. Was she okay? The Archen bobbed her head a little in reply to let Downdraft know she was okay. She was just terrified of that Onix! She listened as the Drifloon crooned and turned to eye the man and his brave Ghastly who were so valiantly defending her even though she was such a coward. They seemed so nice too, she kinda wanted to stay with them.
But would they even want her too?
"Archen?" the fossil pokemon crooned turning back to Downdraft for a moment before deciding she wanted to stay with them. She just hoped they would let her. Archen! the fossil pokemon scooted closer to Downdraft, considerably less terrified than she had been. Maybe this trainer would be kind to her, like his Drifloon. She certainly hoped so.
The Archen is willing to go with Noah! Archen can now be caught!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD ONIX APPEARED! [/style] Onix || Male || Rock Head || Rock/Ground || level 5 Mud Sport || Tackle || Harden || Bind || CurseThe Onix roared as his attack missed. Stupid ghost types, he hated them sometimes and this little pest was really irritating him. Those blasted Shadow Balls were not helping either. He could feel his energy wearing down and that was not good. He hadn't even gotten a chance to pay that little Archen back! Growling the Onix sized up the Gastly as it gathered more shadow balls. He didn't move fast enough to dodge this attack and roared as the ghost type's attack landed, trembling as he tried to keep himself upright, proud thing that he was. He just didn't have the strength to anymore though and slumped, toppling over though luckily no where near Noah or the bench.
The Onix has fainted and can now be caught! Grudge gained two levels and is now at level six!
[/b][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD SIGILYPH APPEARED! [/style] Sigilyph || Male || Magic Guard || Flying/Psychic || level 8 Gust || Miracle eye || Hypnosis || PsywaveThe Sigilyph was just ambling along minding his own business. He was patrolling his route as usual when the Onix and Archen had blown past him. He might have tried to stop the Onix but they'd been moving too fast for him to throw out an attack. They happened to be heading along his normal route though and judging from the commotion up ahead he wasn't far behind them. He continued on, coming to the clearing as the Onix fainted, nearly getting fallen on. He let out a startled sound backing up then he caught sight of who else was in the clearing.
A person and his pokemon.
Well this was unusual. He didn't encounter humans often, preferring to stay away from them. He bobbed a bit in place, eyeing the group. His first instinct was to attack, drive them away but from what he could tell, the man had defended the little Archen. Which was the only reason that the Sigilyph wasn't attacking just yet. He wanted to see how the trainer treated the little fossil pokemon.
WILD WORMADAM APPEARED! [/style] Burmy || female || Shed Skin || Bug/Grass || level 5 ProtectSo the little Burmy had been terrified by the ruckus going on with the fighting. She'd been watching from a bush, approving of how the trainer handled the situation. Then the Onix had fallen on her bush! With a squeak she'd barely managed to scramble out in time to avoid being squished. Burmy! she cried out ducking back into another bush nearby. Oh no her cover had been blown! With a squeak she hid again peering out slightly to eye the trainer and his pokemon warily.

[style=width: 406px; background-color: #deb887; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: right; padding: 2px; color: #fff;] Take what you need until your body's numb! [/div][/center] Noah let out a yelp when the Onix sagged to the ground in front of him, the large rock snake making the ground quake under his feet. He examined it carefully for a long moment, making sure it wasn't going to get back up again before his body relaxed again, giving a relieved smile to Grudge. "We took it down," he sighed in relief, reaching a hand out to pet the Gastly. "I thought that thing was going to crush us for sure." Grudge cackled darkly, floating away now that his fun was over with, leaving Noah alone to dig around in his pocket for a Pokeball and toss it at the Onix. Such a victory was one he wasn't going to let pass by, not in the least. Who knows when such a chance would show up again? He then turned his back on it, kneeling down to peer under the bench and holding out a hand for the two Pokemon under it. "You two okay?" he asked gently with an easy smile, his lavender eyes light and a wry chuckle escaping him when Downdraft nodded. "Good. I'm glad that the Onix didn't hurt either of you." He then blinked seeing how the Archen was sticking close to Downdraft. "Made some friends have you?" he asked wryly, shaking his head as he dug around in a pocket, pulling out another Pokeball and expanding it. "If you'd like, you're welcome to come with us. The more the merrier."
He moved to see if he'd caught the Onix when he paused, seeing a strangely colorful Pokemon. A Sigilyph. He didn't know those could show up around these parts, but apparently they could. Something told him to be wary of this one, and he could see it in the way Downdraft was carefully watching the Psychic type. There was just something about it that didn't sit well with the sandy blond... "Downdraft, let's start this off with a couple of Shadow Balls. I don't like the feel of this." The little yellow Drifloon nodded, gathering some shadows up from her surroundings so that they formed a lumpy mass between her string-arms before she flung it at the Sigilyph before repeating the maneuver. She was just as wary as Noah, and she didn't like the look of him either.
Meanwhile Grudge, on the other side of the little clearing, was investigating the edges of what damage the Onix had caused when he blinked at a cry. What's this? Was there something to terrorize? An evil grin fell across his features as he searched closely for the source before he managed to spot the little Burmy cowering in the bush. Instantly, he faltered, pausing. Like Noah always said, he was just a prankster, he didn't want to torment someone who was already freaked out. His mischief forgotten, he floated down to the Burmy, cocking himself to the side and accidentally causing himself to roll all the way over. Oops. Well, way to make a fool of himself right from the get-go...
