She had been traveling all day, and had finally found a half decent place to stare at for the remainder of the day. Everywhere else, the stinky relentlessness Jungle, the messed up Canopy, the overly-guarded Electric Plant, the Underground tunnels she decided not to brave, the abandoned sector she avoided altogether, and the vast Wastelands that she had been traveling over all day long. Now, a nap would be really nice. Finding a grassy patch right under the shade of a tree, the Vulpix Gijinka curled up and was soon fallen into subconsciousness. But she still kept her Vulpix senses alert to danger. In settings like this, it seemed that pokemon were always out and about, and itching for a battle. She would actually enjoy a battle right now, but at this very moment, she was too tired to think. She stayed there in the lengthening shade until it was near the end of the afternoon before waking again. Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes and yawned. "What time is it?" She whispered sleepily before slowly standing up and leaning against the tree. But is it really hate? Love? Is it a fantasy? WILD SOLOSIS APPEARED! [/style] Solosis || Female || Overcoat || Psychic || level 9 Psywave || Reflect || Rollout She had been watching the human for quite some time. Since the moment she had felt the human's presence she could help but roll a little closer through the damp grass and perch herself in a clump to stare at the human. As a psychic type she had always been curious to seek out new things and learn new things. At least, the little Solosis always blamed this curiosity on her type. With small, black eyes she stared at the human slept and slept, tilting her head (which evidently was her whole body) from side to side in silent thought as she stared. Did all humans lay motionless in the grass for so long? Were they this fearless? To her, this was either stupid, or far too brave for her liking. A horrible and powerful pokemon could come out and swipe this little human away in an instant! And then where would she learn the ways of the trainers? With a gentle sigh she ambled forward through the grass, only as fast as her little round body could go.
And just her luck, the human began to stir! Interesting! A faint, curious murmur came from the human before she rose, and suddenly a panic filled the little solorsis. She hadn't thought this far! To what would happen when the human was moving again! With an almost silent squeak she moved as quick as she could behind the tree and peered out from behind the bark, hoping the human hadn't noticed her and would walk away. It wasn't decided yet if the psychic type would follow the human, the only thing on her little mind was her safety from this observation gone awry.

When she had thought of precautions against dangerous pokemon, she had been thinking, like, Ursaring, or Ariados, or Arbok. It was just her luck that some little electric bug hadn't come and sucked out all her energy until she wouldn't of been able to wake up again. It was reckless, and Shizuka was realizing her mistake could have cost her her life. She knew she would have to be more careful next time. But as a Gijinka, really, where did she have to go? She wanted to get away from the city, full of ever hating humans and Epispect. The hatred and drama was too much. She couldn't take it. She just wanted to live a normal, peaceful life. She wondered if anyone else felt the same way... But her keen Vulpix senses had allowed her to hear that nearly silent squeak, and her reflexes had her turned completely around, facing the tree, and a little green blob peering out from behind it with little black eyes. "Is that a pokemon?" Shizuka asked quietly aloud, although she berated herself for thinking such foolish thoughts. Anything in this world that wasn't human was either object, or pokemon. She hadn't ever seen anything like it, but she knew that this was some strange species of pokemon. "It's alright, I won't hurt you. You can come out..." She called out softly to the blob. But is it really hate? Love? Is it a fantasy? [/style][/style][/style] Words: 290 :3 OOC: muse has returned! x3 [/style] Tagged - mod/anyone

WILD SOLOSIS APPEARED! [/style] Solosis || Female || Overcoat || Psychic || level 9 Psywave || Reflect || Rollout There was a small moment of silence as the human seemed to rub sleep, or at least the little green blob seemed to think so. Despite the danger, she was far too intrigued to even think about running away, her black eyes merely staring at the human who spun around quicker that the psychic type would have liked. With a second squeak she quickly shuffled back in an attempt to hide herself from the human's sight. The small, incomprehensible murmur bubbled from the human again, but she didn't even try to understand. Far too terrified of the danger to her well being. Its little black eyes closed slightly as she waited with bated breath (If she breathed, that was.)
Another soft sound, this time soothing rather than quiet, but it was still incomprehensible. She had to learn this human speech! She had to. Slowly she rolled from behind the tree and stopped infront of the human, turning her small black eyes and red mouth thing pointed towards the person. "Soool?" She asked curiously. For some reason, that soft and soothing sound that the human had made had shaken the little blob of all her fear, and instead she looked up at the human and waited for something else to happen, to learn some more things. What more could she learn before she had to scramble away?

"See, you have no reason to be afraid of me." She murmured soothingly. "My name is Shizuka Mikudou. I'm a traveling pokemon trainer." She introduced herself. Although it must have looked strange for anyone to see her speaking to a pokemon that couldn't talk back, but somehow, she felt comfortable talking to someone who didn't have any unfriendly intentions, and this mysterious pokemon seemed to be generally innocent and came in peace as well. "So what brings you out here? Do you live around here? Are there a lot of other pokemon living here? Are they usually dangerous or peaceful?" All of her words must have been a bit overwhelming to the blob that couldn't comprehend her language, but she was sure that her feelings must have reached the pokemon. Always with pokemon, even if words did not reach them, love always did. Animals always seemed to be able to sense those types of things in others, and just the warm feelings of kindness and gentleness could speak much more than mere words. "Sorry, I'm asking so many questions." She laughed softly. "It must be hard surviving out in the wild with dangerous pokemon about, huh?"But is it really hate? Love? Is it a fantasy? WILD SOLOSIS APPEARED! [/style] Solosis || Female || Overcoat || Psychic || level 9 Psywave || Reflect || RolloutThere were a lot of words. A lot. It was almost overwhelming. So many words and sounds and things that the little blob pokemon just couldn't understand. Instead of responding, or making a sound, she just stared at this intriguing human. Perhaps she couldn't understand this human's sounds yet, but it was still interesting. And besides, the more she heard it, the more she'll understand it, right? Rocking from side to side, the little blob stared up at the human with its small little black eyes. "Soool? Solosis...Sis, sis." She almost cooed as she rocked back and forth, staring up at the human. Yet it seemed all the human was doing was making sounds, and that got rather boring fast. "Sol, sol." She chirped again before rocking back and forth to gain momentum before she began to roll away slowly to find something more intriguing to study. Even if the human was interesting at first, her repetitive sounds had become kind of boring.
SOLOSIS IS (slowly) ROLLING AWAY. DO SOMETHING?

Shizuka asked, a little bit disheartened that the friendly meeting would end so soon. Well, this was a wild pokemon. She didn't know what it was thinking. Maybe it had something to do. Maybe it had someplace to be. Pokemon were always so intriguing, and this wild Solosis was no exception. The way it rolled in order to be mobile, the way it rocked back and forth in order to gain momentum. And especially the way the pokemon was built. She had never seen any pokemon like it before. She wondered if it was squishy, soft, hard, or fuzzy to the touch. Was the pokemon enveloped in a very thick layer of mucus or something, or was it transparent skin? These thoughts that came to her mind as the pokemon rolled away made her curious, but she didn't make a move after the pokemon, thinking that for a pokemon like that, it might feel awkward if someone touched you to see if you were squishy. It wasn't that she wanted to become like a pokemon scientist. She definitely had no interest in really doing such extensive research on pokemon in a lab and all. She'd much rather be out battling and learning these interesting things herself. So she decided she at least should learn the basics on this pokemon. "W-wait just a moment!" She called out, even though she guessed that the solosis probably couldn't understand. She only guessed its name because that was what it kept saying. Quickly grabbing her pokedex, for anyone these days had one. They used to be rare objects, only obtainable from professors who thought you worthy of it, and wanted you to go try to complete the pokedex, but nowadays, they were sold everywhere, as common and useful as a pocket dictionary, but electronic so it wasn't like there was any limit to the information you could learn about a pokemon. "Solosis, a psychic pokemon, level 9, female. Knows Psywave, Reflect and Rollout." She read on the screen after pointing it at the rolling away Solosis. Oh, a Psychic type? Shizuka wondered if this one might even be a good addition to her team. She already had the obnoxiously loud Lilipup, Yo-teri, and she had her cool Shinx, Hataro. They were good companions, and this Solosis was an interesting one, but after such a polite conversation, even though she was the only one talking, Shizuka decided it respectful just to let the pokemon go. But as she turned to leave, suddenly a flash of red surprised her, and Hataro appeared, and promptly chased after the Solosis, his tail flicking playfully. "Wait! Hataro! No!" Shizuka called, but the blue cat wasn't one to easily be stopped once something had caught his curiosity. Hataro took a swipe at the rolling away Solosis, but the movement wasn't timed right, and he lost his balance and nearly fell over on his face. That's right, Hataro doesn't know scratch or any move like that. Turning back toward the Solosis, Shizuka smiled. "I'm sorry, Solosis, but would you have a battle with us?" She asked apologetically, knowing that a battle would most likely be unavoidable. "Shiiinx!" Hataro hissed in embarrassment at falling down like that. So upon getting back up, he lunged at the Solosis, attempting to Tackle right into the strange pokemon. "Hataro, use- okay that works too." Shizuka commanded, since she was going to say Tackle anyway. It was the only attacking move of the two moves Hataro had anyway. Hopefully, she at least could train Hataro some more. But is it really hate? Love? Is it a fantasy? [/style][/style][/style] Words: 596 :3 OOC: When I just blabber for a bit, I somehow am able to get lotsa words ^^ [/style] Tagged - mod/anyone

WILD SOLOSIS APPEARED! [/style] Solosis || Female || Overcoat || Psychic || level 9 Psywave || Reflect || RolloutSolosis was rolling away, already thinking about somewhere that would be interesting aside from here. Not the Spheal colony, of course, those things liked playing with her a little too much. They would toss her around, and that was no fun! She'd made a point of trying to avoid the shore, where they liked to collect, which was part of how she'd run into this human in the first place. She kept right on rolling, and she might have kept going until she was out of sight if it hadn't been for the sudden rush of air at her. Squealing as she flailed, the turbulence pushing her to roll over in the slippery grass a few times, she somehow managed to right herself again, though now she was facing the strange human with her odd sounds. She didn't really understand them, not in the least, and she didn't think they'd become any clearer any time in the future, especially with the way that the human kept throwing them at her poor little aching head. "Sooooooooollllll?" she asked in a slow voice, cocking her head to the side curiously only to let out a cry of pain when the presence that attacked her hit her again, this time with a full-body collision that sent her rolling off before she could manage to stop herself. Ow. That had hurt. It hadn't been the best of moves, and of their own accord tears welled up in her eyes. Why had that happened? Why had she been hurt? She didn't do anything to deserve it? Why had this happened? Why why why why why why why?!?
All right, I'll be taking this thread over from Risa. I can keep rolling mon here when you take care of the Solosis or you can end it and start somewhere else. I don't really care. *shrugs*
