It was early in the day for the most people to be out it being barely past dawn. Ah-hin wasn’t most people though. Truth be told she preferred being out at night than during the day but she made do with the occasional night trip into the jungle. She hadn’t been in a while because of odd jobs and nearly being kidnapped the last time she’d been in the humid forest. Now though she was restless and itching for some sort of adventure so she’d decided to give the jungle another go. She hadn’t gotten to explore much of it the last trip which was another reason for coming. She was glad that she had come by herself though. Her twin would have been whining about the early hour and getting dirty. The teen snorted softly at the thought shaking her head a little as she headed in after hoisting a backpack onto her shoulder. The fabric of her black pants rustled slightly as she walked but other than that she barely made a sound, travelling quietly as she went. She was heading for a hideout she’d made in the jungle when they’d first arrived in the city. It was a getaway of sorts that she kept to herself so she could escape for some alone time when she needed it. She would probably end up telling her twin and their childhood friend about it eventually but for now she was content to keep it her secret. She moved quickly through the jungle, knowing where she had to go without really thinking about it which gave her mind time to wander. It wasn’t a good thing sometimes, especially when her mind decided to travel down memory lane. A frown tugged at the corners of her mouth as memories flashed through her mind. No, that wasn’t the place she wanted to go today. She’d come out here to relax, not to get herself worked up. She huffed softly as she reached her hideout. It was a simple wooden structure and she was surprised that it had lasted this long honestly with the jungle being as damp and rainy as it was. She slipped in dropping her backpack on the bench to one side before reaching into the waist pouch at her hip. She pulled out a couple of pokeballs, deciding she didn’t want her hideout destroyed just yet so she wasn’t bringing everyone out. “Synge and Daemon ought to be fine.” she commented to herself as she expanded the pokeballs and let the two pokemon out. The Vulpix and Absol were slightly confused as to the change of scenery but they didn’t mind, watching as their trainer lay out a blanket and sprawled out on it. They quickly cuddled up to her, wanting attention which she gladly gave them. She enjoyed spending time with her pokemon and tried to make a point of giving them individual attention. She’d been slacking lately though since Sage and Arrow had needed some training. Daemon needed it too and badly at that. He was the weakest of her pokemon but always eager to please which was a good thing. It would make training easier once she got around to it. That could wait until later though. She was enjoying the rare moment of calm while she could. Synge licked her cheek and she grinned at him chuckling softly. “Enjoying the break too?” she teased lightly rubbing his head. The Vulpix let out a yip of agreement before snuggling up to her. The Gijinka settled down with the two pokemon to just chill for a while. She was in no hurry to do much of anything today and besides she had the day off so there was no reason to hurry in her opinion. She closed her eyes letting the peaceful sense of calm wrap around her and soothe her for the time being. | Tag: Anyone?
