LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Taffy Ilona Cook
★ NICKNAME: Coffee
★ MEMBER GROUP: Gijinka
★ POKEMON: Typhlosion
★ AGE: 19 years
★ HEIGHT: 5'6"
★ WEIGHT: 128 lbs
★ FACE CLAIM: N/A
★ APPEARANCE:
Taffy doesn't consider herself to be a "beautiful" girl. In fact, she thinks quite the opposite. She's cut the front layer of her hair in a manner that resembles the ears of a Typhlosion while the back layers are long and flow down to her chest. Some call her "coffee" because of her name, Taffy, despite having pale skin.
While she may not seem it, Taffy is quite an athletic person--er Gijinka. Her muscles are hidden by her long jacket that she wears, covering her entire upper body. When she wears it loose, a white blouse can be seen. Now, Taffy only wears two jackets: a light gray jeans jacket and a blue jacket with a fiery collar, resembling a Typhlosion's fire. The reason? She doesn't care about who she is, and besides, she's escaped death more than once. If anyone tries to kill her... well, they'd better watch their backs.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
★ POSITIVE:
- athletic
- responsible
- flexible
- mature
- sincere
★ NEGATIVE:
- lack of faith in herself
- distant
- hot-headed
- unforgiving
- insists on her own views
★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- puffs either flames or smoke when enraged
- will sometimes walk down on all fours or curl up to sleep
- licks people she likes
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Taffy hates lying and sarcasm, so she is always sincere in her words. You will never hear her tell a lie. Ever. It boils her blood when people manipulate their words like that. Other than that, she doesn't really have any other pet peeves. However, she is quick to anger, and sometimes explode with rage when angered enough. Because of her hatred of lying, she will never forgive people who wrong her. Call it petty if you will, but she will hold a grudge for the rest of her life.
Being distant towards people, she is a bit of a lone wolf. She doesn't believe in "teaming up" or "traveling in groups". Taffy is a bit silent and doesn't talk much. Some wonder if she even has a voice. She is a bit insecure, wondering if she looks right, or acts right, or if anyone even likes her. Whatever. She doesn't care what other people think of her, right?

H I S T O R Y
- She was born in a rather rich family. They were a bit secluded from the outside world, so her only other friend was her little brother, Max. He sometimes made fun of her name, which she really didn't mind. After all, it was an unusual name. They would sometimes sit in their playroom, making up stories as to why she was named Taffy, such as their mom was craving candy while pregnant with her, or that they were just drunk.
- When the virus came, it struck the family harshly. At first, they felt perfectly fine. Max never complained. He was always smiles and candy and flowers, the glass-half full kind of kid. He was only 9, six years younger than her.
This virus infected only Max and Taffy. Before the symptoms, they felt perfectly normal. It was only a few months after actually contracting the virus that they started feeling truly sick. When their parents realized what was going on, they panicked, trying to contact every doctor in the city to help them. No one could. And that was when they turned to their last resort.- For the first couple of days, she felt as if she were going to throw up. They had just injected the Gijinka DNA into her bloodstream, what was it, five days ago? Now, they only had to wait and make sure it would work. Taffy never moved, for her headache kept ger from thinking clearly. Her parents were in the other room, waiting anxiously with cold sweats, unable to think about or do anything else. Their babies were in there, getting Pokémon DNA inside them. What else were they supposed to do?
What was truly 6 days felt like 6 years. When it was finally over, Taffy looked all around the room with her new, crappy vision, trying to figure everything out. But her senses..... wow. She could hear everything. Smell everything. It was amazing.
Then, her head slowly turned to her left. Her parents were crying and convulsing violently. The doctors were patting their shoulders. Confused, she turned her head to her right, to the bed where her brother was lying.
And he was stone dead.- Her brother did not survive the transformation. The virus had already killed him from the moment he contracted it. It was just a ticking time bomb inside him, just waiting for the moment to snatch his life away from the family. Ever since, her parents had shunned her. They didn't want to see her face, her Gijinka face. They grew even more distant with each passing day. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. When the day came that the virus was no more, they were completely dysfunctional. Taffy knew that she couldn't stay there anymore. Leaving a note on the kitchen counter, she left without any last words, never looking back at the mansion behind her.

P L A Y E R I N F O
★ OOC NAME: Blaze
★ AGE: 13
★ OTHER CHARACTERS: N/A
★ RP SAMPLE:
Her green eyes scanned the camp in a cursory manner. All she wanted was to make sure her clan was safe, even if it did seem unnecessary. But she had to prove herself to the clan. Because if she didn't they would believe her to be a non-Duskclan cat forever. No, she would force them one day to see how much she truly cared for the clan.
Holly spotted Rookpaw licking a bone clean. He seemed rather irritated, but she really couldn't tell from that far away, so she decided to get closer. Rookpaw was, after all, one of the first cats she had met when she was brought to the camp, although at the time, they were both kits. And ever since the day the met, he had been giving her nothing but trouble. Even so, she still cared for him.
"You going to lick that bone 'till it dissolves?" She threw out a witty retort since it seemed that was the only way the two could communicate. Holly chuckled to herself and sat down next to the fluffy black Medicine Cat Apprentice.
No, she didn't hate him. The two had a strange relationship. They constantly teased and tested each other, only to see how far they could push each others buttons. It was like a game. In fact, the two were like brother and sister, after all, they grew up together in the same nursery. Both had been abandoned, left to die in the cold, lifeless forest. In order to show that she was joking, she lifted her muzzle to form a small grin. It was her "special" grin that she only gave to him. Her own special grin just for him. He should consider himself lucky.
In all honesty, Holly couldn't even begin to imagine how the two of them had become close. They were almost total opposites, and Holly couldn't stand his obnoxious behavior. But somehow, she managed to look past that and saw the true cat Rookpaw really was. What she kept to herself was that she kind of liked him, but that was all thrown away when he became a Medicine Cat Apprentice. She almost chewed his muzzle off for doing that.
