LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Dono Riakai
★ NICKNAME: Some call him a pedophile, but he doesn't prefer it.
★ MEMBER GROUP: Human
★ POKEMON: He shall start with a Bulbasaur
★ AGE: 21
★ HEIGHT: 6 feet tall
★ WEIGHT: 160 pounds
★ FACE CLAIM: Izaya Orihara from Durarara!
★ APPEARANCE:
Dono has a decent amount of hair upon his head, hair that he doesn't even bother to try and style, so it remains unkempt. His hair is black, and has been since his birth. His eyes are an auburn color, however in certain lights some consider it to be a crimson. Dono is very slim and has very little muscle built up anywhere, some even consider him to be "lanky". His most defining trait is not his body as a whole but the jacket in which he wears everywhere he goes. This jacket is all black and has fur at the cuffs, hood, and bottom. Under this jacket he typically wears some sort of T-shirt. His choice of clothing is not completely random, for he wears the jacket and shirt because it conceals the fact that he is a very skinny gentleman. However the two rings he wears are indeed completely random and without use.

★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Dono's personality is not one that he enjoys spilling out to people, in fact he would much rather sit in his protective little shell he has forged around himself and wait out his days anxiously without telling anyone a single thing. Dono is quite blatantly uninteresting, for he doesn't look for action in his life nor does he search for anything he does. Everything that happens to him is usually some sort of mistake that forces him into acting interestingly. Perhaps it is the shell formed around him that attracts all the interesting things to him. Perhaps it is the way he reacts to things that draws more of this unwanted attention to Dono.
Dono is a man that keeps everything secretive and tries to hide everything from anyone and everyone he comes into contact with (other than his name, which he spills out without much thought). It is to his belief that no one is to be trusted, no matter who they are or what they do. Along with this belief, Dono also finds himself always lying for the sake of his own gain. He doesn't know exactly what made him lie so frequently but he finds it just too easy so he continues to do so without remorse. He often will say that he is a simple man with interests in the complicated, which would pretty much sum up all that he is. Dono doesn't go out searching for things, he just walks around a region looking for something to do and when he does he only hopes that it is interesting. He wishes all things could be without simplicity, for he hates the thought of a simple minded person or a simple puzzle.
Dono wants nothing short of perfection of the world, and he thinks that somtimes rash action is needed to straighten out the fabric of the world's doings. Dono knows its none of his business, but in reality nothing would be his business. He has no ties with anyone anymore, and all that he has left is this blank canvas of a world that has nothing in store for him. Thus, he wants to return balance to the world. For people whom truly dedicate themselves to the purpose of making some difference in the world, it becomes hard to do their job. Their perfections begin to fade away. Or so Dono thinks, so he decided not to put forth all of his attention into the matter of changing the world or whatever.
Dono is quite lazy, and finds it hard to focus in on things and follow through to the end. He doesn't see this in himself, for he has always seen himself as perfection of course. Dono's demeanor has not changed for a while, and it seems that he will never change. Dono's course of life has always pointed in one direction, and that has always been straight. He is quite direct with people when he needs to be, however enjoys the occasional riddle in order to ruin someone's image of him. Dono doesn't want to be seen as a good guy, for they always have a stupid flaw that causes them to win, but with a cost. The bad guy always loses, despite the fact that he really doesn't have any in depth flaws. Dono wants to be a minor character, a character that helps the main figures of the world, so that outside observers know more about them and can examine them closer. These people have flaws, but they are overlooked for the greater good of a story. Dono only hopes this also applies to real life. However, a minor character typically can only effect some or just 1 person, thus he commonly will act completely differently around different people.
Dono's intentions are to become a feared power within the land, but not because of Pokemon or sheer force, he wants to become a power because of his knowledge ). He wants to know all the ins and outs of Rocket and all the ins and outs of every other organization in the world. He wants to know everybody and know of all their doings. Dono wants to become the spectator of this region, with as much knowledge as an almanac of the region, and then some. The pursuit of knowledge has led Dono through nearly all of his ambitions, including his mass readings and investigative work. Nowadays though he finds that the best way to gain knowledge is through simply living through it, and act like a stranger to the world as he investigates everyone that he meets. In a way, anyone that holds some sort of significant interest about them will immediately press Dono from the shell in which he lives.
Some people are not fit for the ordinary life, and surely Dono is of that descent. He has been described as a psychopath by many whom have failed to get to know him. They say that he does... "things" with people much younger than him, simply because of his odd demeanor and acts towards younger females. People say that he is far too focused on making you uncomfortable (which Dono sometimes will intentionally do, in order to get some sort information). They say that he is deranged on Insanity and his voice is as cold as the wind that blows. Dono denies being insane and having a voice of ice, but he cares not that these people think this way. Dono has had a history of outbreaks of anger and hatred. Dono can only tolerate so much imperfection, which is why he finds himself conflicted in his love/hate for the human race. They are so interesting and fun, yet they are the images of imperfection. Dono thinks that verbally berating them will somehow put them into their place in line, yet this seems to only make them more angry at Dono. Dono cares not for the Gijinka or what they do, however he does find them interesting to investigate.
Dono's thoughts on Pokemon Training are simple, "Pokemon are toys that are manipulated by for our own personal gain. We don't treat them with respect nor do they deserve respect. They are jokes that we train to make us feel like we've accomplished something, to make us feel like we are deservant of respect. Honestly, man is no more worthy then Pokemon are. We would be equals if it was not for the sheer luck that grants man with further knowledge then any other being. I despise the very concept of luck and its effect on us, but I know that I wouldn't be here without it. This is the way of our world, conflicting thoughts that are far too contradictory to live together. Hmmph." He has yet to form much of an opinion on the Gijinka, rather, he has yet to voice this opinion.

H I S T O R Y
- Birth
A mere 1 minute old Dono Riakai sat there, going through the typical procedures as to ensure and his mother’s health. If you want to get the full picture, you might have to zoom out a little bit. Y’see the mother there, yeah that’s Janette Riakai , she’s 28 right now. Her life has been good to her, she has made it this far and has had no problems. If this story was about her, it would be boring. Good thing it’s not, eh? Dono Riakai was average size, average weight. In the room you see a few nurses and the doctor. They are pleased at their success, and their happy patient (or I guess it would now be patients). Out the second story window a dark haired man could be seen running out of his car frantically with his briefcase dangling in his right hand. Meet Akuhei Riakai. Late for his son’s birth. If you knew him, you would only assume he would be so. It seemed fated that they would be together; if you knew them you would dub them as the “John Doe Mary Sue” couple. That is, if you wanted to judge them. His parents had absolutely no fear of the virus in which spread with rapidity, for they themselves hadn't been effected at this time, and segregated themselves from those whom did. That snapshot is only mental now, and is forgotten by all but Janette. This story is all about the snapshots of life, and how they have effected Dono, even if he has forgotten them.- Early Life
I wish that everything got interesting here, so I would have something to tell you. However, Janette and Akuhei were quite normal people; in fact they didn’t really have much detail about them. Or that’s what Dono remembered, he didn’t think highly or lowly of them. They were just people in his life. Like everyone else, they just come and go. They raised him, and Dono wasn’t about to credit them for doing a good job. He grew up in Aether City, and it was his native land. He was a homebody; in fact he was almost scared of going outdoors. It sounds quite crazy to say that but Dono was actually more fit for the indoors. He just sat in there, doing nothing but thinking and doing whatever low energy exertion action he could find to do. He blames his parents for this. Perhaps this is the real reason he didn’t credit them. They were indeed John Doe and Mary Sues though, so it is implied that they didn’t have any real obvious flaws. So perhaps this was all Dono’s doings. Dono’s most imminent memory is of him sitting in front of the window, light peering in as he waited for something to happen. Waiting for something to happen is how pets live. Pets don’t engage in activities by themselves, or they do rarely. They will gladly join you in whatever endeavor you do, however won’t engage in these activities on a normal basis by themselves. That is the plain and simple way of Dono in his early life. He received very little education before age 9. Dono didn’t want to leave the security of his home (the existence of the virus outside didn't help this). His parents helped him massively in the converting him to being okay with socialization and the “wilderness” as he called it. This was his first encounter with the hate for lack of perfection, for he saw outside as an area lacking perfection. Sadly, this is his most defining trait at present time.- Adaptation
Dono turns age 10, and realizes that his hate for the outdoors has grown unhealthy and that it will be very bad for him if he continued the way he lived. Dono had to confront the very thing that he hated already, imperfection. Dono very quickly adapted to socializing and the outdoors when he realized that it was all lacking normality. At the time he couldn't quite explain it but he was already sort of growing fond of how life seemed to be complicated outside of the normal. It was a sensation to Dono, and he loved people and all they had to offer him. Dono was actually a halfway decent kid, other then his cold as stone voice and his search for perfection. It seemed that nothing would completely satisfy this hunger he had, nothing could challenge his mind that would interest him enough. He started a diary, a diary that has been filled up at the present time and is on its 3rd version. Dono's life diary.- Fourteen
This is the next notable year in Dono's development to who he is today. Dono learned a great deal about reading from actually going to get an education and began reading all the time. He learned of many things, myth and fact alike. He was granted knowledge about all the regions, including the ones he wanted to go to one day and study extensively. Dono soon learned of other regions and their problems with different teams, and began researching them as well. They were an exciting people. Groups deranged on evil doings and had very little goals other then to raise their own people up. Dono was okay with this, for he could see the concern for becoming big and powerful in these lands. It was the same reason people enslaved Pokemon to fight for them and help them become champions. Dono's parents had grown older and still cared for him. He didn't care for them, but he didn't rebel against them either. They provided for him and they were what kept him alive. He continued his education and his diary.- Dealing with the Virus
At age 2, the "cure" for this Virus had been developed, however the cure was simply to give someone the DNA of a Pokemon, many people were getting scared and implementing into themselves the DNA of a Pokemon in order to survive. Dono was fascinated with this... humans that were given Pokemon traits in order to grow stronger. It was quite extraordinary, however Dono could not risk catching this virus, his previous explorations outside were simply unsafe, and he couldn't continue his interactions the way he was previously. As he thought he was an image of perfection, he knew that if he had this virus than it would ruin him. He would be forced to implementing in some sort of DNA of a Pokemon, in which case was nothing something in which he desired to do. However, at any point he could he gathered books and even purchased a laptop with some of his father's funds. With this, he studied the virus and these fascinating people called "gijinka". He studied the virus and basically shut himself off from the world once more, developing a phobia of getting this virus. A phobia that may have been exaggerated, but at the same time he couldn't have his perfection halted. Whenever he came across new data, he would record it in his diary and add to the ever expanding novel that was his life. He felt that he needed some socialization, however with the virus running rampant he was very careful not to contract it in his time out and about. Eventually, it became widespread knowledge of the black market DNA sales and the decline of the virus. With this, Dono was ready to explore the world once more. All this time bottled up had not been good for Dono, however he had recognized his goals in this time period and was ready to collect more information and make his diary into an almanac of the world. The earliest recording of any notes on the virus was made at age 14.
"Today, my first friend said that he had contracted a "virus" and that he wouldn't see me for a long time. He is a poor boy from a poor family, and oh how I wish to help him. However, I cannot risk contracting the virus. It spreads too swiftly among people and would corode my very being. I must avoid it at all costs, whatever it may be that I have to do. I do wish to gain informaiton on the virus, and this 'cure' for it. I wish to learn everything that there is written about the virus. Even if my friend cannot be saved... I will avenge him with knowledge, as I solve my other problems in the same way; through knowledge."

P L A Y E R I N F O
★ OOC NAME: Just Dono is suiting.
★ AGE: Thirteen, but I will try my best to not act my age. Heh.
★ OTHER CHARACTERS: No, no I do not.
★ RP SAMPLE:
Uhm... I suppose I will just post something that is around.. "average"?
This entire confrontation had been to some degree, awkward. Dono felt it was somewhat his obligation this and try to get around it. However you look at it, the entire basis of this conversation was some random guy, whom's identity was not known to the general public, came up to some celebrity and took on the role of some guy in the search for information. It did not take any form of expertise to avoid the awkwardness that settled in the situation. It helped that Dono wasn't afraid to take these chances and really put himself out there to be manipulated by Amaryllis. However, at this point Dono couldn't just leave her and say that "he tried". It wasn't like he had an ego to protect or anything, but still, he had to continue. If that meant his money would be blown by some woman he may never see again, then so be it. He would find someone willing to trade with him for more money, not that he planned to do something like this again.
Amaryllis seen quite surprised once more by Dono's reaction. She obviously wasn't expecting him to keep this going. The mentioning of shopping may have made some guys run and hide, or others would just shun the idea. Dono wanted to shun the idea, but he couldn't deny the fact that it would indeed give him the time he wanted with Amaryllis to start up some questions and try to get her to trust him. Trust was a hard thing to achieve, especially when you were trying to establish trust with someone whom had very little reason to trust you. Dono would attempt to establish some sort of trust, and then go from there. Amaryllis had kept up with him as he ran, as he of course expected. She was physicaly fit, somehow.
Dono had to admit, she seemed pretty casual about the whole thing. In fact, she continued to hold his hand. Dono was actually pretty happy about this. Even if she was unintentionally still holding onto his hand, Dono could at least deduce that perhaps Amaryllis had lowered her guard further from what it may have been previously. Of course, Dono had no real evidence that she even had much of a guard up in the first place. At any rate, she wasn't trying hard to defend against anything Dono said or did. She didn't seem to pick up on the unpredictable nature of Dono. However, he too had yet to understand barely anything about Amaryllis. At this point, everything was estimation and assumption.
He couldn't rely on these things completely, so continuing was necessary. Dono couldn't help but chuckle lightly as Amaryllis taunted him with the possibility that she would only try not to bankrupt him. Dono wasn't sure how hard she would have to try to bankrupt him, but Dono imagined that it would take her a while to find anything that would fit. Then again, Dono was unsure, maybe she was willing to spend all day here to pick out more than a few outfits. She acted so innocent, but she was an elite. Usually, the innocent little girls that Dono "picked on" were so easy, and among Dono's favorite victims. Amaryllis wasn't quite the same. She was about the same age... and she actually wasn't all too innocent. Dono decided that he would let Amaryllis lead the way, so he did as he kept their hands together. If she didn't care than Dono would exploit that, it was fun.
"Heh, Amaryllis, you are quite a mystery to me. Most women would just dash into the first store they saw, leaving me behind as they spent all my money. You don't seem to care too much for this sort of thing. But, please, have some fun." Dono spoke. Dono then continued, "But, since you didn't make an all out sprint to the first store your crimson gaze landed on.. may I ask, what brought you here to Cesspool?" Question number 1 on his mental list. Easy enough, completely easy enough. He just hoped that she wasn't coming here to stop the grasp that Plasma was slowly gaining on the area. Even if she was, he would have to play everything off like it wasn't a surprise.
