LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Magnus von Blitzkrieg
★ NICKNAME:
★ MEMBER GROUP: Epispect
★ POKEMON: Seviper
★ AGE: 31
★ HEIGHT: 6’2”
★ WEIGHT: 185lbs
★ FACE CLAIM: Germany from Axis Powers Hetalia
★ APPEARANCE:
Magnus is blond haired, blue eyed and gives off an excessively intimidating air a good 99% of the time. The majority of his weight is thanks to his muscle, as he is very physically active in a multitude of ways. His hair is kept cut short, and has never been seen without being slicked back by anybody but his brothers and himself. Despite his previous professions and high tendency to get into fights, he is free from scars or marks anywhere on his body. The only modification there seems to be is a row of three metal piercings down the center of his tongue, and even his brothers have never seen that before.
As for clothes, Magnus likes to keep it classy. His main clothes are military uniforms, and he will not hesitate to chase someone down in one. It's mostly thanks to his growing up in a military family, where uniforms are always the main thing to wear. However, he does hold a great liking towards suits, tuxedos and formal wear and will take most opportunities to wear them. When Magnus has no previous engagements whatsoever, and isn't in the presence of company, he finds it acceptable to be a bit sloppier and wears pants and tanktops, but this is rather rare.
Attributed to his Gijinka form (Seviper), Magnus has gained several features. One of these features is an extremely flexible spine. Though it’s not outwardly visible, people may be in for a surprise when he seems to twist his body 180 degrees while standing to look at them or bends backwards into a complete loop – Yoga, anybody? Another feature is an unhingeable jaw and a stretchable throat; he can dislocate the bone at will and can swallow larger things than normal. Sure, it looks gruesome, but it comes with advantages. Magnus has gained fangs as well; they fold back just as a regular snake’s does to conceal, and yes, they do pump venom.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
★ POSITIVE:
- Confident >> Perhaps a bit overly so? Magnus is an extremely proud individual, often thinking himself well above the others he mingles with. He knows what he’s saying when he says it, and if he doesn’t, that’s alright too; he’s fluent in the language of lies and is secure enough to pull of most of the things he says. He absolutely knows he’s good looking and has a lot of useful skills, and he’s willing to exploit that for all it’s worth.
- Literary Genius >> Magnus loves reading. He really, really loves reading. He’s gone through most of the usual classical repertoire and has long ago begun infringing on other, more unusual novels and manuscripts. He’s never seen without a book in his bag and he’s likely to quote from a variety of sources when the time calls.
- Loyal >> Magnus is extremely loyal to those who he thinks deserves it. Unfortunately, he doesn’t think too many people deserve it in the first place. To those who he does lend his loyalty to, he’s fiercely protective and completely trustworthy. He’s the dependable sort when he’s like this, and those he lends his trust to will find that they’ll be free of most troubles.
- Hard Working >> Thanks to his upbringing and situations in the past, Magnus finds that nothing of value is gained through luck. He works hard for what he wants and is diligent in whatever task is set before him. However, he will only ever put this trait to use when that something is of gain to him. For every work, there must be reward.
- Charming >> It is highly debatable whether this is a good or bad thing for a man like him. Magnus is smooth talking, lays on the charm in just the right amounts, and is suave enough to talk his way into any man or woman’s heart, as well as out of trouble. Some say this can even encroach on being manipulative.
- Gentlemanly >> What could Magnus be but a gentleman? He is polite and calm in speech and seems to hold every trait of a learned man. He is chivalrous and courteous to many of those he meets, and he will be civil if you are towards him. What’s not to like?
★ NEGATIVE:
- Indifferent >> Those who are good at spotting these things, or those who bother to look in depth into Magnus will find that his gentlemanly demeanor is really one of courteous detachment. He doesn’t care much for you or anybody else but his own survival, really. Magnus is a cold man with a hot temper, and if he finds you of no use to him, he’d gladly cast you aside.
- Temperamental >> Everybody he comes in contact with is at the mercy of his moods. The strangest things may set off his anger, even if obvious things don’t. He may simply laugh off a person spilling coffee on him, but say good morning to him in the wrong way and he’d gladly break the person’s nose. He also holds grudges forever.
- Controlling >> If there is one thing that can be said about Magnus, it’s that he’s extremely controlling. He greatly prefers and often demands that he’s the dominant one, the leader of every group and the one who has a say in every detail. However, he isn’t blatant about it, and is very good at subtly pulling the strings to get what he wants to happen.
- Sly >> Because an unfair fight is always better than a fair fight. Magnus is a cunning, calculated individual and can plan on the go if it comes to it. He may have a great way with words but, of course, when being sly just doesn’t cut it, just beat it to death with a blunt object.
- Sadistic >> Because really, this guy just gets worse and worse. Behind his seemingly spotless façade, he rather likes it when something suffers at his hands. He likes screaming and kicking and crying, and he’s very well versed in how to gain those reactions. But hush, don’t tell anybody.
- Homicidal Tendencies >> And you better bet he’s excellent at hiding it. He gets great enjoyment out of killing things, no matter what they are exactly. He’s never once gotten caught for doing it though, and those few times he is suspected, his polite and polished demeanor usually steer them away.
★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- When asked why he has such a vast knowledge and such an interest in blades and firearms, he’ll get defensive and change the subject.
- Thanks to his Seviper DNA, Magnus has a habit of eating things raw and swallowing them whole. He can hide this trait when in polite company, but prefers not to as eating is more comfortable this way.
- Magnus absolutely detests being touched. It would always be better for one to ask before touching him in even the simplest and common of ways, such as a pat on the shoulder, and please don’t try to catch him by surprise.
- Magnus has always had a habit of cuddling up against anything warm in his sleep. This has been amplified greatly by his Seviper DNA, and he will sprawl all over anybody if they're within arms reach. Of course, a heat lamp and a pillow works too...
- Despite being rather gentlemanly, Magnus is a
serial killer, rapist manwhorelittle bit questionable at times.
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
It’s rather difficult to pinpoint Magnus’ personality, as he’s notorious for making himself whatever you want him to be. Most can say that he’s a befitting gentleman; courteous and gentle. However, get to know him a little better and you’ll soon see that it’s really a polite disinterest you’re seeing. Though he’ll mingle with pretty much everybody, there are few he thinks are fit for his company; he’s got a pretty big narcissus complex, especially when it comes to his hair. He keeps a certain distance from many people he meets to gauge how useful they are to him because it’s one of the only factors he takes into consideration when deciding whether to further an acquaintance with a person.
Needless to say, Magnus has a charming but manipulative personality. He’s charismatic and easy to talk to, will listen to what you have to say and can offer some very decent advice; all in all, a ‘good friend’ by most standards. He has learned to imitate behaviours, mannerisms and even pitches of voice to portray a certain image; all the world’s a stage, after all. However, he’ll only extend his hand if he knows you can give something back; he likes to acquaint and associate with those who have a position of power, wealth, influence or those who can further his own end goals the most. He has a certain way with words that’ll soften the harshest of exteriors, but he remains extremely focused on his tasks at hand and what his goals are. In a more neutral setting, he is stoic, distant and serious with a cold exterior that’s a pain in the ass to crack.
Magnus is exceedingly loyal to those who he thinks deserves it, but extremely dangerous to those who he thinks doesn’t. He’s the calculating sort, and it could be said that it’s used for more bad than good. He never sees a situation on a personal level, but calculates its worthiness based on things like his invested time, situation difficulty, whether anyone else is involved, among other factors. An unfair fight is always better than a fair fight, and if he can’t use sheer brute force to overwhelm an opponent, he’ll just as likely resort to emotional and mental manipulation.
If there needed to be a deadly sin that defined Magnus, it would definitely be wrath. Everybody is at the mercy of his moods, and he can become exceedingly violent at the drop of a hat. His fury is provoked by the strangest of things, and the man holds grudges forever. Magnus is hard working and resourceful, being able to get things done quickly and efficiently. However, this causes him to be the domineering sort, taking over a situation quickly and with little care about what others may think. He absolutely needs to control a situation, especially if he’s personally involved, and this will lead to him needing to control the people around him.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that he is a borderline serial killer? He’s rather sadistic in nature, though he hides it very well, but sometimes his homicidal tendencies slip out of his control. He likes to see pain and suffering and unlike sane people who acknowledge that something might not be right with that, Magnus doesn’t particularly care. He’s good about keeping this side of him well hidden, as his pride and self control tell him to be smart about it.
Magnus is, for very obvious reasons, an undiagnosed sociopath and possibly an undiagnosed psychopath. He hides all this under the mask of a perfect gentleman

H I S T O R Y
Magnus was an orphan of war, so to speak. His family just happened to be on the wrong side of political turmoil, and they needed to flee soon after he was born. His mother, deciding that life on the run would be no good for a child, gave him up to an orphanage before he was even aware of how she looked. The orphanage itself was in an already despairing state, as war leant nothing to the needy. He grew up in the desolate place, and he had to grow tough himself if he was to survive there.
When he was around five, the orphanage came into possession of another young boy left at their doorstep. He had no name, there were no papers, and nothing was known about him. He was put under Magnus’ care, and to tell the truth, he was rather indifferent this new addition so unceremoniously thrust into his lap. For the first couple of years, the boy was mostly neglected and uncared for as Magnus slowly ‘learned’ to love him as a brother. He was called a lot of things, but Magnus did eventually give him the name Konrad after finally becoming close to him after the first couple of years.
Magnus and Konrad were practically inseparable once he got used to him, being closer than most brothers were. Magnus was fiercely protective of his little brother, and become more so when resources in the orphanage began to grow thin. Konrad was small and vulnerable and was often pushed around by the other boys, and his big brother barely hesitated to give a person a broken nose for picking on him.
It was one rather morbid incident that kick started Magnus’ homicidal tendencies, and it didn’t even start with another person. It started with a rabbit caught in a trap, and the headmistress telling him he had to kill it for dinner. He killed it alright, but it began to fuel his morbid curiousity for what went on inside a body, how it functioned, and things that caused it to stop functioning. Eventually, this fascination escalated until one particular event where Konrad was being pushed around yet again. Magnus was furious and shoved the bully down a flight of stairs, snapping his neck in the process. That was number one.
By the time he was about twelve, he had killed three of his peers for bullying Konrad, never being caught once. When there was a war going on, not much attention would be paid to some dead orphans, after all. Konrad had watched these murders, and let’s just say he was never the same for it. Magnus, however, seemed as fit as ever and went about his usual doings. However, he knew he didn’t want to spend all his life in the orphanage, and something had to change. That’s when he attached himself to a military officer that happened to be passing through the area.
He followed the strange man and his two teammates relentlessly. Pasha, Nastasya and Yekaterina were a special operations unit that was cut off from their controller, and took refuge in the area until they could reestablish contact. Eventually, Magnus’ persistence paid off, and both he and Konrad were adopted by the team on a supposed temporary basis until they left the area. Of course, that was until an explosion killed Nastasya and Yekaterina a few months later, leaving Pasha injured but alive and both the brothers shocked. After treatment in the hospital and reestablished contact with the government, Pasha was ‘retired’ until his services were further required, when the turmoil started once more.
That “turmoil” turned into the apocalyptic virus.
Magnus and Konrad were brought back with Pasha begrudgingly, having been officially adopted and more than ready to start a new life somewhere else. They were brought back to the Mikhaylichenko-Molotov household, where they were introduced to their aunt Anya and their new younger cousin; Johan. Konrad, being the perpetually bubbly child he was, immediately took to the new family like no tomorrow. Magnus on the other hand still needed to warm up to them, and it was a gradual learning process that he was forced into once again.
The Mikhaylichenko-Molotovs were a military family, and Magnus was trained into their lifestyle. His father figure being Pasha, he was trained for whatever they had to throw his way, and took it all on in stride. He developed an affinity with various firearms, with blades as a secondary, and he was perpetually well armed in every aspect. He grew very comfortably into his role, and especially enjoyed it when he had to rough it out and survive in harsh terrains… of course, killing things wasn’t a problem either.
At the age of 22 however, Magnus was becoming restless. He found himself uncomfortable with where he stood and tired of having to hold up his one façade all the time to prevent his family from finding out who he really was. All these were, of course, just thoughts and passing imaginings that he figured would blow over soon enough. The pressure built and built and he continued to just dismiss it until the catalyst came along.
As soon as he had learned to love his adoptive little cousin, he protected him with ferocity. He knew little else of any sort of love outside of Johan and Konrad, and that was how he supposed it would be. However, Johan admitted his love for Magnus one day. Magnus, unable to handle this entirely different and separate level of love, and with the pressure to leave having been built for so long, he fled the next night.
To say the least, he got out of dodge as quickly as possible without telling a soul. He went far away, made a living for himself doing small jobs at first and frequently changed locations as to not be found again. Around this time, Epispect was beginning to hunt down illegal Gijinka.
Magnus went from a runaway with nothing to a highly valued assassin in eight years. He took his love for killing things and made a profit of it by dispatching those who the rich didn’t want for a hefty price. As the years went on, more and more of his clients wanted Gijinka dead, and he did this without fail. This activity was still very illegal, as he was killing things for a profit, even if it was the species that many turned a blind, hating eye to.
This was when he heard of Epispect and their willingness to hire people to dispatch illegal Gijinka formed by the black market. Most importantly of all, however, was that the pay was good and it was legal work; therefore, he couldn’t get into potential trouble because of what he did. He applied, was interviewed, hired and paired up with a partner.
At nine years away, he began to long for home again. More specifically, he began to want to know what Johan and Konrad were up to, and if they were safe, as he still loved them. He asked to be transferred closer to home, and Epispect allowed him… with a small modification. He was transformed into a Seviper Gijinka and sent to hunt down illegal Gijinka near his hometown.
Magnus is just lingering now, doing his job, and contemplating whether he should face his family again or leave them be. His partner in crime is Ludwig Fleischer.

★ OOC NAME: Renegade!
★ AGE: …old. 8|
★ OTHER CHARACTERS: N/A
★ RP SAMPLE:
Magnus had always been the calm out of the three; when Konrad and Johan had panicked, he’d keep a level head and take his position as the rational, thinking one. When things had gone bad, he either kept calm or got angry, but he never got emotional. In fact, even with his anger, he’d only ever gotten full on furious one time in front of Johan, and that was during the Nico incident. He had lost it then, but quickly gathered himself back up and got himself away from the apparent threat. But there was no getting away this time around; if he did, then it would be permanent.
Johan had practically latched onto him by the front of his shirt, tugging him so close, he could feel his breathing. He could feel his damned heartbeat against his chest; the far away flutter that offered the human warmth. His reaction was immediate, trying to sooth his little cousin, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him into his lap like he did when they were kids. He was a bit bigger now, but that didn’t make a lick of difference to him as he cradled Johan in his lap. ”I’m not leaving. I’m never leaving you again, okay? I’m here to be near you, to protect you. I’m not leaving.” Magnus would’ve repeated it over a million times if he needed to. He just wanted so badly to pound the fact into Johan’s head that he wasn’t leaving him ever again; he knew that doing so a second time would kill his little cousin without a doubt. It would kill Johan just as surely as if he’d pressed a loaded gun to his head, and it’d kill Magnus just as efficiently. He’d worked and bled and did all those horrible things in hopes of getting the violence out of his system, just for the chance to go home.
