« Personality Summary »
As Haru's official starter Pokémon, Mizune is a creature that he trusts a lot, even if they have not been through much together yet. Like Haru, this water-type is eager to get out in the world and make something of herself and just a bit on the silly side, as many of her species tend to be. She also has a habit of nomming on anything in reach: hands, feet, Pokéballs, even tails and hair. One of her favorite past times other than biting her trainer or testing her claws on the furniture is to take a swim in any body of water large enough for her to fit in be it a tub, a sink, or even a fountain. Haru thinks it's pretty cool that they "match" in terms of colors - that a redhead with blue eyes has a primarily blue and red starter. They've been together for a while, so despite the trouble she enjoys getting her trainer into, they have a strong bond. Haru picked up this timid little Charmander from a Pokémon auction one day for a relatively fair price, but for some reason the fire-type refuses to open up to his trainer. While he is not a mean-spirited Pokémon - he's infinitely more polite and well-behaved than Mizune - the Charmander (who wishes that he could tell Haru that his name is Ferrum and not one of the numerous other things he's suggested) is rather distant, especially when dealing with Haru. Perhaps his former trainer is still too fresh in his mind to move past just yet. He still listens to his trainer's commands, but he does not seem interested in becoming friends with his master just yet. Hopefully a little time together will help to change his mind.
Also, Mizune thinks they are a couple. She has a creepy stalker-ish crush on the Charmander and expresses her affection by nomming on his tail. True love, people.

« Personality Summary » After receiving a Taillow egg made him curious, Haru bred his Totodile and Charmander (much to Mizune's delight, though Charmander may have some mental scars from the event) to get a Totodile egg...which he quickly realized he had no idea what to do with. Fortunately, someone was willing to trade the unhatched Totodile for a Drilbur, who quickly earned a permanent spot on his dream team. He named the ground-type Lagann, and the little mole seems to be adjusting well to the group. He's trying to get Charmander to lighten up but while he has more luck with it than the pushy and bite-y Mizune, he still hasn't gotten very far yet. Loves to sleep curled up in Haru's blankets. A Taillow egg Haru got from his parents. It doesn't do much, but sometimes it twitches, or even makes little tapping noises if you listen really carefully. Other than that, it's pretty mundane. The colors are cool though. Haru traded a Fire Stone for this Rufflet, who has since kept his first nickname: Haruto. He thinks it's funny and kind of cool that the flying-type has the same shortened name as him - they're Haru and Haru! Have I ever mentioned that grass types aren't my thing? Well, okay, I might have lied a little there. Haru wants a Vileplume for his team. Because I'm trying to stick to red-and-blue Pokémon for him, I definitely do not want a shiny, so hopefully I'll be able to get one someday. I don't care what gender it is either, just as long as I can get one.
