It was way too close to the Epispect Headquarters, which, for him, was not as comforting as for some of the humans. As one of the illegals, he would rather avoid being near that place, but on a second thought, not many of the Epispect hunters would think he is so close to them, actually. If anything happens, he can either fight his way out or run away just fine.
He was walking behind the Bagon, who seemed to target the fountain as her goal. If Kei wanted to, he could easily get past the pokemon and catch her since he was quite much faster, only it would cause too much unwanted attention. In not necessary, Kei would rather hide what he really was. Hiyu grabbed the edge of the fountain as she reached it to pull herself up and glance at the water inside it. “Ba, bagon.” She said, a bit disheartened, seeing the dirty water instead the clear, sparkly one that she wished to.
“I told you it’s not the same as the lake, or as the pond in the park.” Kei said as he caught up, placing his hands on his hips. Seeing how sadly the pokemon was staring at the water, he sat down on the edge of the fountain, his back to the water, sighing once. “Not like you can change it.” He patted the dragon’s head twice, at which Hiyu looked up and also settled on the edge, next to his trainer. Unnoticeably, Kei was checking the aura of the people around them, cautious about the human and gijinka equally, wondering if there were any hunters out there.
Patting Hiyu again, watching as the dragon’s head was bobbing up and down, Kei asked “Okay, can we go back now?” The answer from the Bagon was mot quite clear, but rather unique, indeed. Hiyu smirked and opened up her mouth to Bite Kei’s hand that was patting him, though for the gijinka boy, it barely hurt. “Hey, don’t chew on me.”

Though the mouse strove to lift himself off the ground, he eventually found he hadn’t the strength to do such, falling flat upon his face. Across the field of battle, there came a sigh, “Are you done yet?” The little boy on the other side of the field made a face, a very angry face. He scooped his Minun, muttering angrily, “Next time, you’ll see! I ain’t lost yet! I’ll be back! Ahn’ stronger too.”
There was a soft smirk upon his opponent’s face as she said with a nod, “Sure, kid. Sure.” As the little boy scurried off towards the nearest pokemon center, she turned towards her own pokemon. “Anything, Aenea?”
A light snort-like noise hummed in her mind, but eventually chime-like words followed, Not a thing. That was far too easy. The duel-type by her side seemed unenthused, floating lazily upon what had served as their makeshift battle-field. Endellion let out a huffy-sigh, “Damnit. I was hoping you’d at least get one level off the Minun and Plusle...” She shifted slightly, scuffing an iron boot in the gravel path and tapping Kale, the iron hammer, against the rocky path.
... Endellion... Don’t fret. My species is tough, but you know we must work for it.
“I’m not fretting. I just want you to learn Hypnosis before we head out to power level.” The young woman grumbled with an annoyed huff, “I should be looking for stronger trainers than the ones around here.” She stomped about along the gravel path, placing her hammer behind her head and holding it with both hands. “I’d ask around headq-”
Yes, well, I’d rather not fight against a human. They’re out of my league at the moment.
Endellion smiled slightly at the sarcasm ringing in the Bronzor’s psychic tones, “One day... but... Yeah. Exactly.” Along the gravel path they traveled until they hit the pavement and grassy flat-land that was the City Square. “Come on. We should be able to find a few more trainers up ahead. I’ll be damned if I don’t get you to at least level six before I drag you somewhere better to train.”
The Bronzor gave a soft chime that sufficed as a bemused snort, and followed behind the red-headed woman. They stopped and began glancing about, and Aenea found herself rather drawn to something she saw. “... Bronz.” <Hmn...> What about those two? The fellow over there and the Bagon?
“... meh. Think you can handle a dragon-type?”
I’m a bronzor. There’s little punishment I can’t take.
“Fine. Hey! You there, by the fountain!”

She probably just had fun, seeing that it would barely hurt a gijinka like Kei with his dual typing, but then again, Hiyu liked the fact her owner wasn’t an ordinary human anyway.
Kei poked the dragon’s forehead with his other hand and leaned closer to wishper so only she would hear. “I can Dragonpulse you if you are bad, you know.” The chewing stopped suddenly, Hiyu released Kei and looked up at the boy with huge eyes rivaling a kicked puppy’s. Kei sighed, resisting a chuckle and patted her head again. “Jeeze, don’t look like that, I wouldn’t actually do that.” Hiyu cheered up immediately, and grabbed Kei’s shirt to climb up the boy’s back, clinging to his shoulder, resting her head against the boy’s neck.
Kei noticed with the first few pokemon he had, that they seemed to be more affectionate toward him for whatever reason. He supposed it was due to the gijinka gene, though not all of the pokemon noticed that right away. The ones he captured probably noticed it only because he was using his abilities against them anyway. Glancing down at the weird shaped blades resting against his sides, Kei thought back to his time in the Electric Plant for a moment. Picking a fight with some fire types might not have been his best life choice so far.
He was about to ask Hiyu what she would do now, when he was addressed by some random passerby. At least that is what Kei thought. Looking toward the girl he eyed her up and down, wondering whatever a little girl would want to do with him. With a Bronzor none the less.
He had an idea though.
“What?” He called back even less politely than her, his voice kept deep but clear. He barely felt any threat from her aura, and Kei knew from experience with his reading abilities, that she wasn’t one of the gijinka walking around. ‘A normal human? A tiny one at that.’ Hiyu was also eyeing them curiously, still clinging to her trainer and waiting for him to talk, though Kei didn’t seem to say or ask anything more than that.
