LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Endellion Leecaster Rose
★ NICKNAME: The Countess of Iron, Briar, Del
★ MEMBER GROUP: Fourth Circle Summit Knight [Epispect, Human]
★ POKEMON: Ferrum [Charmander]
★ AGE: 23
★ HEIGHT: 4’2
★ WEIGHT: 84.3
★ FACE CLAIM: Vita Yagami from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A’s/StrikerS
★ APPEARANCE:
Appearances can be rather deceiving, don’t you think? Endellion is a prime example of the old adage... simply because of a few odd quirks in the genes of her parents. Her looks, height, and even attitude can be attributed to her mother’s status as a Vulpix Gijinka. Endellion is short, shorter than most grown women will ever be: standing at three feet, nine inches. Her hair is a cascade of bright reds and hints of orange, which she generally braids into two pulled-back pig-tails. Her eyes are usually dark and it’s often hard to make out the fact they’re actually blue under all that scorn. Her nose is rather flat and button like, and her facial features are that of a child’s, as is most of her form. Flat chested, cute faced, short, and unable to find clothes more befitting of her age, Endellion is usual mistaken for a young girl of eight to eleven...
Even though she’s been legal for more than five years.
Her dress helps matters only slightly, unable to find clothes fitting for her age, twenty two, Endellion’s choice in civilian wear boils down to cutesty preteen section clothing: plenty of stripes, cartoonish characters, frills, punk-rock kiddie wear, ribbon and lace covered socks, little short and skirts, and cartoon printed underwear.
But, her age can be seen through her work-wear, soldier’s uniforms of brown and red, though... her choice in formal knight attire is still somewhat childish, a scarlet dress covered in black lace and dark red lace, with a thinly veiled Kevlar bodice, puffy little red coat with white lace and yellow ribbons... a protective neck-brace depicting the musketeer’s cross...
And a puffy hat with stuffed bunnery on each side...
... well. She’s not trying to delude most folk about her age, if that helps any.
Her personal affects include a heavy looking iron hammer, called Kale, the count of iron, a heavy tome of musketeer lore, and several light-weight steel and aluminum cast spheres... not that you really need to know what they’re for.
She just has them around. Not to worry...

P E R S O N A L I T Y
★ POSITIVE:
- Determinator
”There is nothing I can’t destroy. There is no one I cannot beat. By extension, there is nothing that can stand in your way, for you are guarded and respected by me.”
Endellion keeps a firm mindset that anyone can do anything, so long as they are determined to see it happen. She’s firm and decisive in this, there is nothing she cannot do. And you best believe it. If she believes you can do something, then, by the four lords of the mountains, you can do it. She’ll make sure you succeed, if it’s in her power. Endellion is a positive thinker, a loud and proud brute. There is nothing she won’t try, nothing she’ll let defeat her...
Even if it does defeat her.
There is always a until next time, always a determined huff of defiance in the face of defeat. For in her mind, there is nothing that can beat her... and so, nothing can, and nothing may... Unless you are so lucky that she gracefully accepts your victory... as her own.- Bold
Have you seen her? She is nothing, if not bold. Endellion is a spirited woman, one that has to constantly yell to be heard. She’s a twenty-three year old who looks twelve, do you think she got anywhere by being meek? If she weren’t so bold, and able to smack sense into people, she’d never be able get into a good bar, for goodness sakes! Her boldness lets her do all sorts of nifty things she’d never get to do otherwise.
Training pokemon for one, is something knights do not normally do...- Fun Loving
She may be loud, she may be crude, and she might be the most un-lady like gal you’ll ever meet, but Endellion is fun. A heck of a lot of fun to hang around with when she’s not sober. She’s a knight after all, she knows a good place for boozin’ and partying when she sees one. (If they don’t let her in, that’s their problem, not her problem.) She’s a people person, even if she doesn’t seem it at first, she’s goofy and fun when she’s not working her butt off towards one of her goals. She knows how to relax.
A bottle of wine and a good chat up in the hills does anyone wonders.
She may be small, but she has a high tolerance for alcohol... How she managed that, she probably won’t tell you.- Strategist
Endellion will be the first to admit her usual ‘strategy’ is “Hit em’ hard and hit em’ harder.”, but, she does have a good head on her for battle-strategy, years of study have at least drilled basic rules of war, good strategy, and battle techniques into her mind, if she missed out on the manners and etiquette of knighthood. She knows how to battle, she knows how to fight. There’s no question in that, she’ll do what she has to do to win a fight. She may not be the most creative, but she’ll get the job done.- Strong Willed
As a person of determination and persistence, Endellion has a will rather unmatched. She's stubborn as a mule, twice as cranky, and twice as mean. She's got the touchhhh-Endellion is a hard-headed person, and if you want to go toe-to-toe with her in anything you'd better not plan too far ahead...- Badass
Yep. You heard me. Ever been hit in the face with a hammer? No? Well, if you hang around Endellion, you may be hit with a hammer. In the face. For saying something stupid.
Endellion is a knight, and she thrives on combat, skill, leadership, and honor. She's odd, brutish, and she likes to fight for her causes, most of the time, quite literally.- Chivalrous
It comes with being a knight, but Endellion has been taught to be loyal, fearless, strong, and brave in the face of all dangers. She can be a stalwart knight, if she so chooses, knowing to treat young ladies and men right, always help her elders, and all that goodie-good stuff.
She would blaze into a battle or a fire to rescue someone in need, or help a person in need, but you can expect her to be the one to ask "What the hell where you thinking you idiot," when it comes down to how they got in that situation in the first place.
She's got a heart of gold somewhere in there, it's just hiding behind a thick brick wall, or something.- Cute
While Endellion will cringe and scowl at the mention of her 'adowrablenuss', there is no denying it-she's cute as a button. There are perks to being an adorable, cute, young-looking adult, though Endellion's personality usually detracts from her 'cuteness'. Endellion could scam a con-man, if she wanted, being so 'innocent' and 'cute'. She's not a fan of her appearance, but it comes in handy when she's helping old ladies and old gentlemen.
Free candy? why, no, I'm not saying anything of the sort.
★ NEGATIVE:
- Easily Agitated
While Endellion tries to keep a cool head, most of the time, other people simply get on her nerves, be they human or gijinka. She gets angry fast and easily, and she yells plenty and often. She takes the mildest insult to heart, the most common disagreement she’ll treat like a “wedge-issue”. Those around her need to tread carefully... they need to recall that Endellion is simply set in her own opinions, but, that she’ll respect yours grudgingly (that is, if you argue right back at her, and don’t take flack.).- Loudmouth
Well, that’s an obvious one. Crass, brute, bold... There’s always a certain tone to her voice, even if she’s whispering, that comes across as big and loud. She’s proud and fierce, and she expresses herself through her volume and tone, rather than other emotions. Anger and grumpiness are her medium. She needs nothing else, nor should you want anything else from her...- Stubborn
If Endellion has something in mind she wants to do, it’s already done, even if it’s not the best thing she could do, or be doing. If she wants to get up at three in the morning and train her pokemon, then, by the mighty Terrakion, she’s going to do it. Even if it means she’s absolutely dead tired by noon, and her pokemon just as exhausted. Endellion is stubborn, set in her ways, beliefs, and mannerisms. If you’re trying to change her, you might as well be beating a dead ponyta. She ain’t movin’.- Perfectionist
If you’ve ever feared being looked down upon, or running into a drill-sergeant-from-hell, you should probably avoid Endellion. Both a positive and negative trait, it’s placed in the negative, for a few simple reasons. Endellion is a perfectionist, one who tries to not only make herself perfect, but everyone that surrounds herself must be the very best they can be. That makes her rather abrasive, and often makes her seen as terrifying or pretentious, but, at her core, Endellion not only wants to see the best in those around her...
She wants them to succeed, she wants them to come out on top in everything they do...
Even if they have to go through training from hell itself to get there.- Scaldingly Sarcastic
Ouch. Burn.
Endellion’s mouth has gotten her into trouble plenty of times, she’s a brute and proud of it, after all. If you can’t get past her constant negativity, heavily used sarcasm, and smart-aleck comments, you probably won’t like her. She’s been raised as a blacksmith and a knight, societies run by men, and had to be sarcastic, smart as a whip, and bold to amount to anything as a young woman within those societies. It’s not her fault you can’t handle a well-crafted exchange of witty banter.
Sheeeeesh.- Cocky
Sometimes, you can be too proud and believing in your abilities, or your comrade's abilities. It can get you in trouble. Be it... a fight you can’t win, or a situation that can lead to a brutal loss, being cocky and loudmouthed often makes for heartbreak, depression, and frustration at the end of the day. After-all, what good is it, being cocky, if you can’t back some of your claims up?- Hot White Fury
Query: So, Endellion is normally loud and boisterous, big and always sort of cranky and angry... What’s she like when she... really gets mad? Answer: Run, run far away. Endellion is never really angry at anyone, it’s just how she acts. If she was reaallyyy angry at you, she would be quiet. Dead serious. She’d express her anger through a disapproving look and invisible scorn, she’d kick your ass from here to New-Bark Town, she’d smack you with her hammer and start talking to you like you were a complete... and total... screw-up. She would act calmly, sternly, swiftly, and with a cold, tranquil fury. You’d best pray she’s angry, and not calm.
For hell hath no fury like the scorn of a woman-knight.
★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- Shouting her Attacks
whut? You don't do this? Endellion oft shouts forth nonsense and hits people with her hammer. Admittedly, she only does this to people she knows well enough to call them out for being idiots. She likes to make up names for her pokemon's attacks and often they're left scrambling as they try to make sense of the strange commands, such as:
"Now! Use your Gelded Smash to kick that weedle's scrawny behind!"
It can even prove to confuse the enemy. It's hell of a lot of fun, and she really does enjoy seeing her pokemon try and impress her with variations of their most basic moves. Once she sees something she likes, she'll often keep it in her mind for a later time.- Playing with Fire
Being the daughter of a vulpix would prove to be... difficult for anyone who didn't have open permissions to play with fire. Endellion was raised by two smiths, and enjoys toying with things that should burn her by instinct alone. She lights her marshmallows on fire before eating them, if you get my meaning.
Endellion can hold metals that have been in a hot fire, and has proven to terrify others who aren't aware of her blood lineage. She may not been directly infused with the blood of a vulpix, but there's enough of her mother's blood in her to allow her to play with fire and not get burned...
Too... badly. She's still had moments where she scalded herself or caught her hair on fire, like any other... erh, pyromaniac? It's a puppy-dog like obsession, Endellion enjoys fire, and it enjoys her...
What's the big deal?- Twirling Kale
Loli-loli-loli, get your adverbs here~
When traveling or bored, the hammah' starts a swinging. It keeps the blood pumping for when danger strikes, anyway. And a knight has always got to be prepared.
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Endellion Rose, the countess of iron, the will of a nation. What might we say about this... interesting gal? That she’s a rough-tough-no-nonsense-break-some-necks knight of steel and iron? A worshiper and devout knight in the service of the great god of iron, Terrakion? Perhaps, we could say she’s a simple woman, seeking to become champion of a broken world... No, no, we’ll throw those sentences out the window.
Endellion Rose is a passionate, fiery, odd sort of woman. She worships Terrakion, the legendary pokemon, of whom her fallen people idolized as the protector of all metals and minerals. She is a knight of the Fourth Circle, a devout people and group that are knights to the four-musketeer pokemon, Terrakion, Virizion, Cobalion, and Keldeo. She has lived in the mountains for half of her life, one half which she spent in the care of her grandparents, learning the craft of blacksmithing, the other half, she spent in the care of a master knight, learning to be a knight of summit.
She is as fierce as she is bold, forever angry at the world and it’s ignorant people, but loving and tolerant of them in this anger. She is not fond of the plague which killed her people, nor is fond of the blood that protected her from it. She seeks people whom can make her smile, make her laugh.
She seeks battles, lost knights, powerful opponents, danger and freedom, love and joy, and wishes to become a powerful knight and trainer herself.
Endellion seeks to protect the remains of the world from destroying what little remains, by becoming as powerful and awesome as she can.
She is headstrong and has a fiery passion for all things good in the world.
She is The Countess of Iron, the will of a nation...
Endellion of the Summit.

H I S T O R Y
- born to a gijinka mother and human father, reared in the mountains far from normal civilization. raised by her grandparents on her mother’s side, reared up as a ‘normal’ human-being in a small village. desired to assist with her grandparents work at five, but was still too small to work within the forge.
- began working at the forge at seven, when she was all-most tall enough to see over the sales counter and lift a hammer. started out bringing in buckets of cold water to the forge and hammering out rivets and nails out of iron. her charmander, ferrum was born around this time. he helped keep the forge hot with his mother: a camerupt, gwendolyn, and father: a charmeleon, rocketfuel.
- around ten endellion discovered she was able to retrieve hot iron from the forge without gloves or tongs. scared the hell out of her grandparents, whom, finally rationalized and explained to her that her mother had been a ‘gijinka’, infused with the blood of a vulpix so she would be protected from a deadly virus, and this was why she was so attracted to fire.
- at twelve, a visitor, a knight came to the village. she and endellion made fast friends, as the knight had come to observe a festival that the village did to honor terrakion, and endellion was very interested of the knights of the fourth circle and their cause and purpose within the world. the visitor left after the festival, but agreed to send and exchange letters with endellion.
- at fourteen, everything in endellion’s world froze over and wilted. the virus came to their village, and ravaged the elderly of the town. the only ones that managed to escape the grasp of the virus were endellion and the pokemon of the village. endellion is forced to fend for herself, bury the dead, and mourn without knowing what to do. her grandfather’s chameleon leaves to seek help, is gone for most of the year.
- rocketfuel returns from his trip, brining along with him two knights from the higher mountains. both are sympathetic for the loss of the blacksmiths and elderly craftsmen of endellion’s village, and inquire after endellion’s wellbeing. they wish to bring her to ‘the keep’, a monastery and strong hold for the worshipers of the musketeer pokemon, the knights of the fourth circle, to live-and too study to become a knight, if she so wished. recalling her friend within the circle, already being a devout worshiper and believer of terrakion, and with no where else to turn, endellion took up this kind offer of a home and a place within a broken world.
- rocketfuel and gwendolyn accept their fates as free pokemon, as do most of the villager’s pokemon, and wish endellion the best of luck. endellion takes up the last weapon her grandfather ever made, a hammer of iron and steel, as her only possession. ferrum refuses to return to the wild, insisting on staying at endellion’s side. endellion accepts his loyalty, and names him ferrum, for the latin term for iron.
- endellion is sixteen, and on top the the world on mountaintop opposite from where her village was nestled, studying the will of the musketeer pokemon. she is not the best of students, though does try hard to impress her professors. she is something of a kind-hearted bully, makes many friends with the tough-minded knights of the mountains, and is one of the few female knights whom wishes to take vows as a summit knight, a knight of Terrakion.
- at eighteen graduates from her days as a ‘paige’ and takes her vows as a summit cadet. is mentored by one of her ‘rescuers’, and soon becomes a rather formidable squire. once again meets her inspiration to quote-on-quote ‘become a knight’, the knight whom visited her village. they become rivals and even better friends while the other is there. her friend goes off to become a commander while endellion graduates as a full-fledged knight.
- twenty. begins to travel the remains of the world with ferrum, though hasn’t begun to truly train him.
- twenty-one. robbed by an idiot. tracks him to aether city. plans to kick his ass, finds the city and it’s slums in desperate need of a knight’s assistance. stays in the city to begin missionary work. finds her idiot thief and kicks his scrawny behind. catches the intention of a certain organization.
- twenty-three. now. after establishing herself within the city, finds a job with epispect, capturing renegades, demanding things from people (money, their passwords, information), and beating down on illegal operations. She refuses to kill anyone, but she’s damn good at absolutely recking black-market establishments beyond repair and scaring the hell out of the people who dare to run them. begins training ferrum as her back-up. soon makes plans, after an incident, to start training him up to be a charizard.

P L A Y E R I N F O
★ OOC NAME: Blue, if you could and you would and you may~
★ AGE: eighteen and three fourths
★ OTHER CHARACTERS: none
★ RP SAMPLE:
Protecting their haven was a duty that she had accepted with much grace and honor, with much reverence for the chance to keep guard over their entire battalion of eight. To be allowed to keep watch over her... her family once more was all she wanted, and Aoko had enough grace to allow her to claim the first and second shift tonight, with Nanoha taking the third and fourth shift.
The Jumpluff took her guard in nearly plain view, floating in silent circles near the ceiling of the stadium’s lobby. Here it was cluttered and over run with debris and trash, cluttered with far more rubble that it could of conceivably amassed from it’s surroundings. Ragged and torn curtains were hidden under piles of rubble, the mess from the main stage and isles of seats was here. She recalled faintly the days before, where she and Shamal had dragged the heavy lead and devoured satin curtains in large swatches into the lobby, and recalled that Chrono and Lindy had heaped the trash and fallen building over top it.
Fate sadly recalled the bones under the rubble they had found.
The creature they had saved from his slumber under the cement and plaster.
The dead trainer.
The dead trainer with the sad owl.
Their new paige.
Nice boy.
Sad about his former owner...
Former... owner...
The dead trainer.
Fate now sped along in her circles about the ceiling keeping her silent watch, trying to break the memories that invaded her mind, uneasily. Fate did not like to be reminded of the past, a past in which she could not even protect herself, let alone her trainer.
She was not like most of her kind, there was something that she so dared to be that most of her species wouldn’t even consider.
Quick.
Fleet.
Fast and abrupt as a bolt of lighting.
While other Jumpluff might of delighted in letting the breeze to take them where ever it might have pleased, that flighty feeling of going with the slowly with the air and sky without a care... Fate preferred to fly against the current, as fast as she could manage to go. Fate followed her own path.
Her intense drag race against a memory faded, and she drifted more easily, once again watching the lobby for vagrants and troublesome lowlifes that only used the building in desperation. They did not often bother the building, it was a mess and much too unstable for even this neighborhood. There were better places to stay the night...
For none could even get past the lobby doors-blocked with rubble and heavy busted furniture. There were only two ways into the main stage. One was the key to the stage-hand door, which Aoko kept about her neck. The other was a claustrophobic place that pokemon could easily enough slip though, though Aoko had nearly gotten stuck. Fate herself had taken this route to watch the lobby....
Fate returned to the world to note the creature bumbling into the lobby, an orange unfamiliar creature that seemed quite like herself. Fate had a small weakness for young grass-types, and had found herself intrigued by shiny-off-colored pokemon ever since Nanoha’s arrival in their group. She kept to her ceiling post with careful interest, wondering if she should approach him.
That quickly faded with the appearance of the human that ran in after him, picking him up off the floor-addressing him sternly and with some worry. That made her nervous. A human. A man.
A creature in their substitute-glade.
Their base.
Their forest...
Fate flitted about in a smaller almost not even moving circle atop her ceiling, praying they didn’t notice her for now. She was so nervous and conflicted. The Jumpluff could protect her family-ward them away with a small show of territorial tendency, (Throwing Sleep-Powder about might be enough to show she just didn’t want them to come near-), or she could go and tell Aoko that there was someone at the door and she didn’t know what to do.
She wasn’t sure if her lady and Nanoha were done with their sparring match, and that she did not want to interrupt so carelessly. The grass-type too greatly respected Nanoha and Aoko to interrupt a match between them. Such shows of power, that way that neither held back during their sparring matches, it was breathtaking and marvelous.
It was something she wished she could do... oh... how badly she wished she could be strong... fearless as they.
Fate twirled and twirled about, nervous out of her mind.
They did not look threatening.
They did not seem threatening.
But, they were certain to hear Nanoha and Aoko sparring...
And looks were always deceiving.
What was she to do?
Her vision almost blurred, a large creature in her vision standing. It laughed at her, the delusion laughed in her face, That’s right. Run, run as fast as you can, my little Fate-chan. It matters not. She won’t be there. I’ve taken care of that weakling trainer of yours. She was never good enough for you anyway.
After a moment of wide-eyed panic and hesitation-she sped right past them, a blue and white blur. She made a mad dash to warn her lady and her family, not thinking quite as clearly as she perhaps should have been. She was leading them right to the hidden entrance to the main-hall, as well meaning as the somewhat schizophrenic Fate happened to be.
"Haley!"
