Bronn... zor...” The vocal whir of the blue creature caught the attention of the red-head, who glanced at the Bronzor that floated quietly behind her.
Is there a particular reason you’ve selected this part of the city for our training?
Her voice was a melodic echo that rang in her trainer’s ears, much more human and processed than other pokemon’s telekinetic relays. It was no surprise, she had spent the majority of her infancy in the care of breeders, whom had... rather insured that the Bronzor had a good majority of languages learned before she was even allowed in the front of the store, or even up for sale.
The bronzor did not feel spite for her parents, the breeding pair was lovely and had treated her well enough as their daughter, even though they’d known she was going to be sold away... She might have been upset at the idea of being sold... but no, she didn’t much care about the fact that she had been sold to a trainer for the highest bidding price. She had been a lucky one.
Endellion was someone with a mind she could admire.
“Yes.” The Countess of Iron said, somewhat flatly, not really explaining herself out-loud. Aenea sought the answer with a quick hum of psychic power, and found it waiting for her.
Ground-moves can’t effect you with your ability, and you’re resistant to almost every other type, or good against them. We’re trying to avoid fire-types, and this area has been reported to have ghost, poison, electric, normal, and fighting types running around it from the intel I dug up... It’s a ruined area of the city... Should be nice and abandoned, somewhere we can let loose and start training you...
It was something of a long-winded, inner-monologue, but, It was a very, very good reason for the two of them to be running about abandoned, crumbling buildings, and dangerous looking places. Not that Aenea worried... much... about Endellion’s safety. The hammer, the scowl, and knight’s uniform should have warded any stupid humans away... At least, it should have.
Aenea floated closer, sort of pretending to sit upon Endellion’s shoulder.
... You should inform me of anything you hope to catch before hand, milady... She noted, bemusedly, You know how I work. Aenea found Endellion glancing at her, a thinly veiled mumble of, “Fighting... Electric... Water, perhaps.” escaping her lips.
With a slight dip of her body acting as a nod, she replied, Understood. I’ll wait for your call with those types. Otherwise, I will initiate immediate combat. How long will we train? Endellion grinned slightly, “Until we’re both satisfied with your progress... or, you faint twice.” She patted her backpack with a soft sigh, “Heh, hope we get farther with you than I did with Ferrum.”
The duel-type chuckled, “Bronz.” <Well...> I’m not scared of anything, milady. Bring on the monsters, I’m dying to learn some new tricks.

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] It Is Shiny!Croagunk || Male || Poison Touch || Poison/Fighting || 07 Astonish || Mud-slap || - - || - -Croagunk had been wandering around the barren part of the city. He was looking for some fun really, and nothing here seemed to want to offer him the chance. Sighing, it seemed that he was never going to be able to find a worthy opponent to fight, that would make him strive to be stronger.
He wondered if there was a human out there that could make him the strongest fighter? He heard the sounds of footsteps nearby and went to investigate the matter. Finding a girl, with a floating creature, he saw them around the Abandoned Sector from time to time. He tried to remember what it was, but then shrugged, it wouldn't really make a difference to him. He jumped down from his perch, and looked them over, pointing a claw at the girl, and then making the gesture for her to come at him.
He wasn't going to go down easily, and he would make damn sure that the opponent felt some pain when this fight was over.

They wandered a bit, seeking quarry, but it seemed like very few pokemon were out about in the open. Only the strongest, the brave, or the foolish were probably out and about, and Endellion had no plans on searching for those hiding in trashcans, broken walls, or cardboard boxes.
Only the brave, the strong, and the foolish... were those she had interest in. Those that would fight against Aenea, without a second thought.
... Milady... near what is left the second story... of the building across the street...
For the most part, she’d been keeping her eyes open, but, Aenea had noted something that had escaped her noticed. She paused, turning to look where the duel-type pointed out. Intrigued, she walked over, about to shout at the sparkling croagunk.
Endellion liked fighting-types, and the croagunk family was one of her favorite. Rare duel-typing, poison and fighting types, that were known for their stony-silence and discipline in the fighting arts. They could be tricksters and mean-spirited, but, Endellion hadn’t met one she hadn’t liked. The odd sparkle and distorted color he had just gave her more of a reason to wander over towards him.
She was surprised, ever so slightly, when he hopped down from his high perch, and made the universal sign for: ‘fight me’. The grin on her face couldn’t be contained.
Aenea. Careful with this one.
You plan to catch him?
“Is it that obvious? Heh.” Endellion voiced aloud, before addressing the croagunk, “You want a fight, kid, you got one. We knights of the summit don’t take a Pas d’armes lightly. Aenea!” The duel-type’s name was punctuated with a slight crack, Endellion’s weapon of choice tapping against the ground.
The psychic type gracefully removed herself from her trainer’s shoulder, floating slightly above the pavement, just a ways away from the Croagunk. With a slight bow, the bronzor wasted no time.
Her form glowed slightly, a wash of pink and purple, a multicolored aura, which she threw towards the Croagunk. “...” Hopefully, it would hit, and perhaps confuse him. That was why she’d gone with Confusion in the first place, anyway.
Strategy was important... She needed to stop throwing herself at her opponents without thinking... Endellion... had said.
Endellion took a step back, watching calmly. She’d only take over if Aenea started to get sloppy. The knight of iron wanted her pokemon to be able to fend for themselves, after all... Aenea was the first one who’d get that privilege, if she could handle the pressure...

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] It Is Shiny!Croagunk || Male || Poison Touch || Poison/Fighting || 07 Astonish || Mud-slap || - - || - - The human was muttering strange words that the Croagunk couldn't understand. Humans tended to talk a lot anyways, it would be easier if they just let their actions speak. Watching the metal disc float in front of him and bow, it nodded its head in return, it had learned to never take his eyes off the opponent. It saw the momentary flash before the attack, and dove forward, moving just under the attack. It knew better than to let psychic blasts hit, especially in a place that was full of psychics.
Rushing forward, he moved to get in close as his hands began glowing with a dark energy. Striking out, it was the only useful attack he had right now, Astonish. Even if it didn't do that much damage, it at least had the chance of causing a flinch in the Bronzor. Jumping back, he hopped around like a fighter/boxer might, even doing a bit of shadowboxing.
