Solo never didn't understand the point of a fair. Nor did he even dress like he was going to one. His button up short sleeved shirt was undone revealing his chest to those around him, and he was in a cargo shorts with his usual sandals. He looked like your typical beach goer, and he was bored with roaming around the fair grounds, and came to the food court. So far he had scarfed down about a dozen burgers, and five orders of fries. His appetite was ravenous, but he didn't care. Drinking his seventh soda he put it down, and leaned backwards in his chair. It was Valentines day, and grimaced at the thought of it. He hadn't had a good Valentines day ever in his life.
After he chose to stop being a human no woman seemed interested in him. It was a shame...Psh there loss.. he thought to himself as he continued to lean backwards in his chair. It was just another day in his life that would soon pass by like a bad memory.

Caroline never really cared about Valentine's day. It was just another day to her. Nobody ever paid romantic interest in her. If they did, they were lecherous and overall perverted. It was never sincere, so Caroline usually brushed them off.
But this Valentine's day was different. She had never received a letter before. This letter... it was so romantic, and caring, and well written. Caroline blushed when she finished reading it. Even now, as she stood at the food court, waiting in the spot that was designated on her letter, she was blushing.
Caroline took a small bite of a caramel apple she had just purchased. She had been waiting for a while and wanted a bit of a snack. Time passed, and she was nearly done with her apple. Her school girl embarassment had long since subsided, and she frowned. A look of genuine disappointment spread on her features.
"How stupid am I..." She didn't even know who she was supposed to look for. She wondered if they'd find her first. Still, she clung onto the hope of finding this secret admirer, because she didn't leave...
