It was different here from many of the other buildings throughout Aether. Maybe it was in the fact that he knew his sister was working about just a few feet away. Her exact location unknown but he at least knew she was here. Maybe it was the smell. It was nice, of the old paper and worn books that lined shelf after shelf. The quiet. The calm. Because he needed that right now, more than anything. Or he was just being over emotional and needed to calm down altogether. He hadn't made a life altering decision. He hadn't become a Gijinka, not that there was anything wrong with that. But he had chosen to fight. In a more peaceful setting at least. He was fighting for just that even. A better world, one where things didn't turn out like his parents had. But it was pointless to even think about the past because there was little he could do to change it. In fact there was nothing at all he could do to change it.
He rolled the pokeball between his palm and the hard wood of the table as he stared pensively out of the side window. Ivy covered a great majority of it, casting an emerald glow over this corner of the library. It was mid morning, a light fog having rolled through the town though not nearly enough to cause any damage. He'd picked up the Cyndaquil the night before, underneath the cover of darkness. Then again had it even been needed? He was doing good, helping something greater than himself. Fighting to unite not just his family again but everyone who opposed. . .well everyone else. Their fear and confusion Popilius could understand, their hatred and aversion to it - he couldn't. And frankly he didn't want to. People were supposed to love one another unconditionally and they had no problem with Pokemon. So the abominations that his father saw in the Gijinka didn't make sense in his mind. But he'd change that. Team Rocket would change that.
i apologize this took so long and theres really no excuse im sorry darling

i bet you thought that i was soft and sweet you thought an angel swept you off your feet An oasis, eh? Dahlia had overheard some locals of Aether stating that the Regent Library was one of the last peaceful places in Aether. As she was growing up, she could remember that rumor being passed around too, but she never had any time for books. Even to this day, she never had any time for books! Her only reason for being in this dusty library was to find anything and everything she could about Epispect, without infiltrating their building... yet. Dahlia would work her way up in the ranks to do that... someday. She wrung her hands like an evil villain as the thought crossed her mind. How fun that would be!
She wandered the library with her cyndaquil by her side. Since the day she joined, this little guy had been with her. Though he wasn't very strong yet, she could tell he held great potential, and he would be a great asset to her team... She smirked. "Cyndie," as she affectionately called him, "We're gonna be big, you and me. Y'know that right?" That was her only aspiration, and she was determined as hell to make it come true!
That's why she took up measly little missions like this. Even if nobody had found anything here before, she had to take every opportunity that was presented. That's how she'd get known, after all! She walked down each of the aisles of old, worn books, her stiletto heels clicking and clacking through the silence. She ran her finger along the spine of a faded burgundy book, and pursed her lips. She plucked the book from the shelf, and trifled through the pages. "How to Succeed hm..." Dahlia cautiously glanced around, as if a higher up would notice she was diverting from her task. A smirk crossed her lips. Of course there was no one else here. She tucked the book beneath her arm and made her way to the tables to read.
Once at a table, she plopped the book down and put her feet up beside it. It was a terribly rude thing to do, but no one else was here right? At least that's what she thought. She placed the book against her thighs and flipped through the pages, humming as she did so. Libraries were always so boring, reading was not her thing. She could just waste time and tell the other members she hadn't found anything.

The brow on the brunette furrowed itself as he continued staring through the emerald light. So many thoughts and questions and so much worry over his actions that it did little to try and concentrate on what he was even doing here. For some light reading? Hardly. To help out Livy? Unlikely. But he liked it here nontheless. The lack of noise, the smell of paper - all of it was comforting in its own way.But he'd break that, he knew it as soon as he pushed the button and the beam of red escaped the ball, the fire pokemon appearing on the table in front of him. What better place to make a real introduction than in the middle of a library early in the morning? It was a male, he knew that much, and from what he knew about the creatures they were a timid shy bunch. However Cassiopeia didn't behave as such, instantly taking to circling the chair in which Popilius sat. He stared up with ferocity in his eyes as the flames on his back seemed to rise and fall with each breath he took. There had been many a different type of Pokemon that had come through his home, at least back when it had been one, however none like the Cyndaquil before him. His mother had been more a fan of plant pokemon and his father water. And while Popilius did at times pride himself on his intelligence (while friends wouldn't say the same on) he only now realized how dangerous a situation he could possibly have made. Letting loose a newly obtained fire pokemon in a library with rare text in it.
He's chosen the name Cassiopeia prior to even formally meeting the pokemon and he felt as if that were his first mistake. Because as the creature bound from him he merely fumbled over his feet trying to chase after it. Doing his best to shout as well as whisper at the same time as he let out the mouthful of a name he'd picked. Shortening the title down to a simple Cass did little to help in calling the Pokemon back to him as he went at a quick pace between rows of books until he'd come to the pokemon sitting on the table, looking absolutely nonchalant about the entire thing. He released a heavy breath as he walked up slowly to the young woman with her feet on the table. Looking around awkwardly as he spoke up. "Um. Thank you for finding my Cyndaquil" He managed to get out before the pokemon just mentioned bound from between the racks coming to circle his feet.
