H I S T O R Y
- Sunny was born to normal human parents who wanted her to live as normal a life she could. They weren't poor but they weren't rich by any means either. They had enough to pay the bills and feed the kids. Spare money even came along now and again. Since Sunny was an only child she got a small allowance whenever they could spare it. She saved her money until she find something she really wanted to buy. Up until she was twelve she kept her grades up at school and staying out of trouble. When she was twelve she picked up a guitar with her allowance and started taking lessons after school. She loved it and soon the guitar became her new best friend.
- Her father and mother contracted the disease when eh turned fifteen and being a a working class family they could only afford to get the treatment for one of her parents. Her family refused to get the cheaper yet illegal treatment that was going around even though it could have saved both of their lives. Since her mother was younger it was decided that she would take to the treatment better. So while her mother was slowly recovering her father was quickly fading. Her mother came home, her dna now mixed with an Stantlers. She hadn't had any say in the dna choice but Sunny was happy to have whatever parent she could.
- A few months later she was walking home from school one day and a Pokemon got free from its trainer. It had been freshly caught and still violent, the houndour attacked her and bit into her leg. She cried out for help but eventually broke herself free and hobbled into a neighbours yard. She had to get stitches on her leg and it left some bad scarring but she survived it. The only real bad part was that it added another medical bill for her family to take care of.
- Sunny decided to hit the road with her guitar and a Pokemon in order to make some more money for her family to survive. She felt like twas her fault for getting caught by the Pokemon she she needed to pay the bill.

★ RP SAMPLE:
Everyday she woke up alone and everyday it started to kill her a little more and more. Opening up her eyes in the morning was starting to become more and more of a chore, rather than something she looked forward to and actually getting up was something she wanted to avoid. She would find herself laying in a field for hours on end until finally darkness came again and she could start the cycle all over again. Ever since she had found herself lost in the woods, far away from her belongings things had never seemed the same. The flowers seemed duller and the sky grayer. The air seemed stale and the sunlight seemed cold. It seemed as though there was nothing to keep her from drifting away, no sort of anchor, nor a sense of belonging other than the books she read, other than the dreams she dreamt of every night that seemed like memories. Maybe they were her memories that had disappeared so long ago? Maybe that was why she could never remember them when she woke up. Even now she lay in the field next to a large building. It was early in the morning, maybe six o'clock or so and people were starting to go on with their day. At least the early risers were. Maria still had no idea what she would be doing today. Probably retreating a ways behind the building and reading a book that she had managed to salvage from a junkyard a while back. All the books she read seemed as though she was trying to fill the empty spaces in her mind. Sure she could try to make more memories, try to make new friends, but if the same thing happened again then she would never be able to reclaim that information. At least if it came down to it she would be able to relearn everything from these books just by reading the pages once more. Knowledge from books could never truly be lost, it was always there.
Finally she opened her eyes to the morning light. It seemed, brighter, today for some reason. Even though it was getting on in the seasons, soon approaching colder days, she seemed a bit warmer than usual. Maybe she had chosen a good place to sleep for the night or maybe she had just gotten a little better rest than normal. Maria wasn't used to a day being this good, this colorful anymore. Pushing herself up from the dewy grass she shook her hair and face free of it. It was nice to sleep in nature, nice to be where the air smelled clean. But when was the last time that she had actually enjoyed it? She couldn't really remember to be honest. She bit her lip gently, not nearly hard enough to hurt at all, and thought about where she might be. There was really no telling with her. She had been too many places and slept in many fields, this one seemed like all the rest. Her dark blue nightgown was damp from the dew that came with the morning but she was use to this sort of thing. All she had to do was go behind a clump of trees and change into something dry so that she wouldn't end up getting a cold. After all living outside didn't leave many options for her to get medical treatment other than a few natural cures that she had learned while she read. But then again most of the things she had read had been about how to treat Pokémon with home remedies, not humans, but how different could they really be? After all, some Pokémon had a humanoid egg group so wouldn't that place them being closely related to humans? She shook her head and her white dew soaked hair fell into her face. It was time for her to get ready for the day; if she waited any longer then she would risk having people walk in on her changing clothes. She sighed and grabbed at the satchel she carried with her, one she had created out of some material a sewing shop had thrown out due to a stain on one of the corners. To her, it was a waste of something that could be used. The pale green material made her think of spring, of something a little more hopeful than she usually felt.
There was just something about dew that seemed to make her hair bounce a little more than when she washed it in regular water, something that made it shine a little more. It was one of the few things she enjoyed other than reading was brushing her hair out every morning. It was a mind numbing task that made her feel a little peaceful. When doing it she didn't have to think about anything else. But first things first she needed to get out of the wet nightgown and into something a little warmer. Her bare feet traveled a little ways over the field and she walked behind a clump of six trees that were growing close to one another. This was a good a place as any and unless someone was coming out of the woods in a specific angle no one would be able to see her change. Off came the navy blue nightdress and on went a cream sundress. It hung to her knees with little ruffles at the end, it had tank top sleeves that really didn't create much of a warming interest. She would have to get some material for making winter clothing soon. Still, she could keep a little warmer with a few extra things. Pulling on knee high socks, pulling the setting ribbons a little tighter than usual so she wouldn't have to stop and fix them near as much as usual, they were all things that mundanely felt the same time after time. For some reason she felt like she would be traveling an awful lot today. Her shoes were the next thing to go on so that her socks wouldn't get dirty. If they didn't get dirty that was another thing she wouldn't have to wash right away. It was always good when she had a little less work to do. The plain black mary janes were the only shoes she had. It was too much hassle to carry more than one pair about. White gloves covered her arms up to her elbows; ribbons matching her socks were just for show, seeing as she hadn't stretched the gloves to where they actually needed them.
She was almost finished, there was only two more things left. She tied the black ribbon that wrapped around the dress into a large bow in the back, the ends trailed down to mid calf, she felt it tickle the back her knee. She pushed her hair back a little bit and wrapped her headband up, tying it with a light green ribbon. It was time for her to get going, time for her to find a new place to sleep for the night. "Now, which direction should I go? Maybe west today." West was the direction to go for the day. She sighed deeply. Was this really a decent way to live? Stepping out of the trees, she saw a group of people walking towards the building that she had slept next to last night. Maybe it was some sort of school? They seemed a little excited to be going to school and there seemed to be people of all ages, Maria could have sworn that one of the people had been in their mid thirties. Maybe it was some sort of fair? Suddenly someone spotted to her and waved cheerfully! A brown haired boy walked over to her, a large smile on his face.
"Hey, a pretty girl like you shouldn't be all the way over there on today! You should be at the front of the line! Come on over here!" He grabbed her hand and Maria's face turned bright red. "N-n-no! I think you're making a mistake!" He didn't seem to hear her as he tugged her to the front of the line where the rest of his friends were waiting. They had already received their Pokemon, just as he had a few minutes earlier. He couldn't let this girl miss out on it. After all everyone knew you got the best Pokémon on Mondays! He pushed her to the door and could feel a few tears start to well up as the door was pushed open. "Hey! I found this girl about to run away without getting her Pokémon first! Make sure she gets a good one! Hey I'll see you later okay?" He ran out the door and waved at her, his Pokeball already in hand. She twisted her hands nervously while standing in the hallway. What was she supposed to do now? Should she leave or wait for whoever was here? Suddenly she realized where she was at! This had to be where they gave new trainers starter Pokémon. Did she even want a Pokémon or should she hurry out the door?
