IF SOMEONE SHOULD FALL BEHIND[style=z-index:3;float:left;border: 5px solid #000000; padding-right:10px;padding-bottom:10px;background:url(http://i.imgur.com/0BEgS.jpg);border-radius:50px;height:90px;width:90px;margin-top:-10px;margin-left:-10px;margin-bottom:-5px;] Fuck it all to hell, he had come all the way out here and he couldn't find his lighter. Never had he wished that he was a fire gjinka more than at that very moment - so that he could have his smoke and enjoy the moonlit night. Should he be smoking? Not necessarily - but he had found that ever since he adopted the blood and traits of an umbreon, he was far more durable than any normal person he knew beforehand. Apparently it was because the stocky little buggers commonly had a high defensive stat. No, he wasn't invincible - but he could be thrown around and abused without worrying about being sore for more than a few days afterward. Smoking? Well, it wasn't healthy in any way shape or form, but he didn't have to fear for his life because his body couldn't take it. The only thing that was stopping him from smoking half of his damn box was the lack of getting them lit. With a frown on his face he stuffed the box into his pocket, a disappointed little frown on his lips. Ah well, he would just have to get over it and look for his lighter. He was awake anyways, the night time air bringing him to life with far more ease than the sun had in years. His eyes almost glowed in the dark, his eyesight was better under the light of the moon than it was during the day. The cool air, the twinkling stars, and the ability to travel in the shadows all called to him - he felt something of a kinship to the darkness that he knew came with his pokemon type. Fingers swept through his bangs, and he sighed - he should have been content, but how could he be while something of his was missing? Perhaps he would seek out another person, anyone who was out here during the night had to be relatively interesting, no? He imagined that they were either getting into trouble or avoiding it. Both could be curious cases, and he was rather starved of contact as of late. If he kept up his avoidance he would grow paranoid - and that was the last thing that Eizo needed to add to his list of problems. Being nocturnal had it's props, but when the rest of the city sleeps and you're aren't interested in being any more of a wanted man than you already were? It grew repetitive. And repetition? Would drive the dark gjinka mad as quickly as isolation would make him distrusting. "Well what the hell can I do about that." He muttered. Damn did he need that smoke - where the hell had he dropped his lighter? Maybe he should look for that before looking for excuses to be a midnight creeper. [/style] LET THEIR SUFFERING SLIP YOUR MIND

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=d0d4f6]Lost. He was lost. Very lost. Well, no, that might not be it. If one didn't have a destination, could they truly be "lost"? With his hands stuffed in his pockets he moved through the night on light feet, tiptoeing as if to try and not make a sound. All he wanted to do was get out of this darkness, find a safe place to sleep and rest until the sun rose again. He took to the sun far more than he took to the night. Everything was visible during the day, less scary, less dark, less...isolated. Leaping suddenly with a cry lodged in his throat, his hands out to protect his face, he coward and whimpered (Much to his dismay) at a tree branch cracking. "Damn it all!" He hisses loudly, quickly straightening his back and moving, quicker, through the park. A place to sleep, that's all he wanted!
His shoulder length purple hair seemed to dance in whatever breeze there may be, brushing over his wide, almost glowing eyes. Darkness, darkness, how he hated it! Despite this blasted blood that coursed his veins (oh the poison!) he couldn't see as well in the night as he would like too. Biting at his lips he continued to move through the soft grasses untill he felt something beneath his foot, almost like a rock but not entirely so. Curiosity killed the cat. He stopped in his tracks and looked down at the thing he had stepped on, tilting his head gently. A lighter. A lighter! Light!! Quickly he stooped down and swiped up the red item, rolling his thumb over the wheel until the light appeared. Oh, he could have cried. "Light.." Looking up, then, with the lighter in his hand, he looked around for anyone near by who had perhaps lost it. He needed the light, but there was some moral compass inside him that forced him to at least make the effort in finding whomever had lost it. Knowing how people reacted when they didn't have their lighter he figured it would be a good thing to do.
Walking he swept his gaze around the darkness, flicking on the lighter every so often when he felt the darkness fold in on him and tighten around him. And then, he saw him. A man, or rather, the dark shape of a man. His movements didn't seem to happy, but it was hard to tell with the darkness around him. "Oi!" He calls then, walking towards him on light feet and flicking on the little portable flame once more. "Did you lose this?"

IF SOMEONE SHOULD FALL BEHIND[style=float:left;border: 3px solid #241414; padding-right:10px;padding-bottom:10px;background:url(http://i.imgur.com/0BEgS.jpg);border-radius:50px;height:90px;width:90px;margin-right:10px;] Oh good, he didn't have to be a creeper tonight - someone was going to do that for him. He heard the tentative footsteps of a stranger, and glanced over his shoulder to see just who was behind him. Blue and yellow eyes glinted under the moonlight, but only reflected the light for a moment before he focused his gaze on the other. Thinking that someone rather delicate looking would want nothing to do with him, he expected to be passed by - but it was moments later that he heard the other call out to him. Teeth gritted, as he had to admit, that was probably one of the most annoying ways to call someone in the middle of the night... but he digressed, turning around completely. Eizo's footsteps came to a stop, and he stared at the approaching boy. Dark hair, darker than his own - and bright purple eyes that both stood out and didn't fit in among the darkness. What was he doing out here? Annoyance with a hint of curiosity quickly mixed with gratitude as he flicked his lighter on. This guy would end up being useful? Well, he hadn't seen that coming. A smooth smile easily spread onto the dark gjinka's face, and he nodded. "Looks like I'm lucky tonight - I was looking for my lighter." He would have snatched it to light one of his cigarettes immediately, but had enough patience and common sense wait for him to hand it over. "And here I thought I'd never see it again." The young man's chuckle was deep, but had a mischievous edge to it. The sound and even the expression in it was more than believable, but it never seemed to meet his eyes. "So, who'se the guy in charge of the lost and found tonight?" He asked, and although it should have been a humorous question it came off more serious and somewhat sarcastic. Once he had his lighter, he would light a well earned cigarette, and offer one to his new acquaintance. It was a wordless question, holding out a cigarette that the other could either take or decline - it was up to him. Eizo figured he wouldn't take it - he looked like the type that was either "too good" for smoking, or too weak... but it would be rude to not reward him for finding his lighter in the first place, right? [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=d0d4f6]All he saw was darkness, in those strange eyes, upon his words. Darkness, it seemed as if that's what this stranger was made of. And it caused him to freeze, his heart to hammer in his chest and the urge to flee all the more stronger. Yet, his persistance kept him there, standing before him with wide purple eyes, his hand shaking slightly as he held out the lighter silently. No words could come to him as he heard this stranger speak untill he cleared his throat in an attempt to get some courage to talk or to flee. Biting at his lips he dared himself to look away from this stranger, but he couldn't. There was something about him that both intrigued and terribly frightened Illorie. Handing him his lighter he took a quick step back and crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes. Why did this man laugh, and make jokes, yet his eyes remained so dark? So..scary.
"Illorie" He said simply, pursing his lips as if in thought, but really he was trying to whip the timidness from his face. Sighing he waved away the smoke, looking away from the man now and looking around. "I only found it cause I stepped on it." With a shrug of his shoulders he kept his arms crossed over his chest, purple eyes slowly turning back towards the stranger with the dark eyes, tilting his head. "And your name, Mr.Lose-it?" His own tone was mischevious, playful, but unlike this stranger, it did reach his eyes. If it were sunny, if it were daylight, he was sure he would have walked away by now, but in the enclosing darkness he felt the need to be around someone, anyone! Even if it were this dark eyed man.
With another slow glance around he took in the park, his eyes finally adjusted to the darkness. It was strange, he didn't know how he ended up here. Yet here he was! Years upon years of wandering around he had yet to settle down, to find a place that was more comfort than a halfway house of a zipped up sleeping bag. "Know where we are? I'm kinda...new here." He said softly, timidly as he bit at his lower lip again, not looking back at the smoking stranger untill he spoke and responded too him. If all Illorie got was this coldness he might have to tear himself away from this place and find someone else to talk to, or a place to sleep...something.

IF SOMEONE SHOULD FALL BEHIND[style=z-index:3;float:left;border: 5px solid #000000; padding-right:10px;padding-bottom:10px;background:url(http://i.imgur.com/0BEgS.jpg);border-radius:50px;height:90px;width:90px;margin-top:-10px;margin-left:-10px;margin-bottom:-5px;] The guy looked absolutely terrified of him, and the umbreon gjinka hadn't a clue why. He... had done his best to appear at least somewhat friendly. It wasn't like he was the type to jump someone in the middle of the night anyways. He was more the stalking type... so why was this poor thing so nervous? Biting his lips and crossing his arms, Eizo wasn't sure whether to laugh or feel bad. With his lighter in hand he started to smoke, his movements nonchalant, even as the other waved the smoke away and declined his offer. "Illorie? Huh, pretty." From his mouth dripped smoke and more sarcasm - but not in a sense that his name was ugly, but that it was far too pretty to suit a guy. Really, it fit too well with that dainty appearance of his. A dainty look that he had better be thankful for - if he were any less of a lightweight he would have broken his lighter when he stepped on it. After he started talking, it seemed that he gained a bit of confidence. That was good, like most, a bit of playful banter could pull him out of his shell a bit too. "Eizo Okamura. Nice to meet you kid." He said, smoke no longer spilling from his lips. He held out a hand for the other to shake, but wouldn't be affected much if he decided not to take it. The other seemed to forever be adjusting to his surroundings - and it was by the other's own mouth that he figured out it was because he was lost. Hadn't a clue where he was - even though this was one of the better placed to be in Aether. "New here hm? Well, right now you're in the middle of Aether Park. It's not a bad place to be lost." He certainly liked it here - now that he had his lighter he might just climb a tree and stare at the moon before he got bored of sitting still. "You don't look like a wanderer, but I've got to ask - do you have a place to stay?" He was definitely acting as if he didn't. Afraid of what goes bump in the night, yet wandering around regardless. Eizo wasn't known for taking in strays... but he was curious none the less. Besides, having someone be indebted to you, was rarely ever a bad thing. [/style] LET THEIR SUFFERING SLIP YOUR MIND

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=d0d4f6]He hated how scared he was, hated it. Yet he couldn't help it, it had to do with these new instincts, this blood. (New, by 5 years...) He didn't know much about his creature, the pokemon he shared blood with. All he knew was that it was an Espeon, a psychic type. That was all he really knew, and yet he didn't feel any smarter. His mind didn't feel any different. Just his instincts, whatever they were. Suddenly his attention snapped back to the man before him as he commented on his name, purple eyes so wide. Pretty?! Heat rushed to his cheeks in anger or in embarrasment. Quickly he looked away again, narrowing his eyes and sighing. "Mom wanted a girl." He murmured. And perhaps she had partially gotten her wish, he didn't seem very guy like at all. Dainty appearance, quick to flee rather than fight. Yeah, not very guy like at all.
Shrugging his shoulders he looked back up at him as he introduced himself. Eizo. Yeah, that seemed to suite him. A strange name for a strange man. Slowly he carefully extended his hand and gently grabbed Eizo's, shaking it carefully. "Nice to meet your too, Eizo." He said softly, looking up at him now and at those dark filled eyes. The smoke just made him more mysterious, like one of those guys in the movies. With the strange past, smoking and looking out into the night before a big fight scene. Biting at his lip again, gently, he laughed to himself and tugged away his hand, smiling. Yeah, now he was getting ahead of himself. He probably didn't have a mysterious past at all, he was just some lurker in the night. The tightness in his chest loosened up a bit, allowing him to breath easier. Fear or lonliness, he couldn't tell, but he was glad it was letting up. "Aether Park, huh. Neat." He murmured and glanced around the dark place again, crossing his arms again as if to hold in whatever fear he had. "It's dark..." He whispered mainly to himself, sighing.
At the question he sighed softly and shrugged his shoulders a bit, looking back at Eizo. With a small shake of his head he answered his question. "Nope. I did say I was new here, didn't I?" No place to sleep, to friends to be with, nope. Nothing. Alone, as per always. His chest tightened again as he sighed, feeling the isolation close in around him yet again, even with Eizo right here. He was lonely, oh so lonely.
