WILD GIBLE APPEARED! [/style] gible || male || sand veil || dragon/ground || level 7 tackle || sand attack || dragon rageGible’s pride wouldn’t allow him to give up the fight that easily, so even with his situation so grave, his health so low, he was still resisting and still attacking this human. Despite all of that, he knew he was close to his end, but still, as a dragon type, he couldn’t just bow his head to this guy. No, not yet.
But the next attack did it. He couldn’t resist against the power anymore, and even if he was able to avoid that one, he doubted he could counter it again. As the attack hit him, Gible growled one last time at the human before his consciousness faded and he fell to the ground, unmoving.
GIBLE FAINTED! GIBLE IS AVAILABLE FOR CAPTURE!
OOC: Just a heads up, you mixed up Reversal's effect there. It is more powerful the less HP the user has, meaning it doesn't take into effect how weak Gible was. Since the pokemon would have fainted either way, it's okay, but you can edit it up a bit. WILD NIDORAN APPEARED! [/style] nidoran (f) || female || poison point || poison || level 8 growl || scratch || tail whipShe heard some commotion for a while now, and though she had no idea what was going on, she was also too scared to check out what is happening near the other tunnel. She wasn't quite the reckless and pro-active pokemon, and hearing the sounds of a fight didn't make her run right there to check it out. She was always living alone, since many of the pokemon around her got sick just by staying near her... That was the curse that followed her as someone of the poison type, hurting others just by touch. It was a curse, despite the fact it kept her at least safe...
When the sounds subsided, she wondered what happened in the fight. Maybe it was just a few other pokemon brawling it out like they usually did in the tunnels, but on the other hand, she heard about these weird humans having the power to fight with pokemon themselves. Was it one of them? What was the possibility of that, she wondered?
Eventually, her little adventurous side won over, and she slowly edged to the part of the cave where she heard the sounds coming from. Peeking out from behind a rock, she was looking at the human and the Gible, catching a glimpse of the final attack as well as the pokemon falling to the ground. She didn't see another pokemon around, so did that mean it was this human making the dragon type unconscious...? She had to make sure, but she was too shy to walk up to them. "Nidoo..."

Gible had been a tough opponent, and he was certain it would come in handy. He removed a pokeball and lightly tapped the pokemon with it, watching with at least some satisfaction as it disappeared into a beam of light. He might not have fought it if it hadn't attacked him first. Still, dragon types were awesome. He probably would have tried to capture it one way or another. He sat down on a large rock, meaning to rest a few moments and catch his breath. Lucky for him, he wasn't hurt so badly as to make battling again a bad idea. Because he might be in here a while. The tackle attacks had hurt, and the sand attacks had been annoying. Dragon rage had been the worst of it.
He had to admit, experience was good for him. He hadn't been expecting an attack like it. It had hit him once, and he figured he'd need to check that out at some point. Lucky him he had durable clothing. A leather jacket had absorbed much of the attack. A spare, since he wasn't stupid enough to chance his good ones here. Not when he knew he could be facing pokemon battles that he himself had to fight. He had spinerak and gible now. Good enough to go into Aether to see the interest others might have in them. Still, he had more pokeballs left, and intended to try and fill them before he left these caves.
His arm felt unpleasantly warm where the attack had hit, and he was about to remove his jacket to have a look when he heard a noise. Something moved, and then he clearly heard a quiet little voice. Nido? Nido...what? He looked into the faint light, and then said disarmingly,
"You can come out. I won't hurt you..." Well, not unless whatever pokemon was there tried to attack him like gible, and he intended to capture it. He could always 'roar' it away. It had been a mistake when he'd done it to mankey. But it reminded him that he could, to give himself some time to see to his arm if need be. It was something he'd not soon forget, either. It could really come in handy, after all.
Spinerak had been pretty harmless, and he almost felt bad for frying it the way he had. But he had come here to catch pokemon. Not to dilly dally around. For keeps, or trades, he didn't know yet. Gible was a good one, but he also knew it was a good one for others as well. He'd have loved to find a bagon though. That was his dragon type of choice: salamence. He peered closer into the spot he thought he'd heard the sound. What was there? Nido...maybe Nidoran? There were two kinds of nidoran. Male and female. He would have liked to have one of either inside a pokeball. They were strong pokemon, dual types like gible had been, and spinerak. He really liked dual types, even if solid types were what he was mostly after for his team. Grass, water, fire...those three for sure. The others he hadn't decided on, save maybe salamence. He knew he'd need pokemon with him until he could get them though. So long as they weren't all the same type, he wasn't horribly picky. There wasn't a pokemon that couldn't be strong, raised properly, trained properly. [/style]

WILD GIBLE APPEARED! [/style] gible || male || sand veil || dragon/ground || level 7 tackle || sand attack || dragon rageWILD NIDORAN APPEARED! [/style] nidoran (f) || female || poison point || poison || level 8 growl || scratch || tail whipShe was peeking out from behind the rock cautiously. She wasn’t afraid, but she learned that being careful was always better than being rash. Especially since she didn’t know what was going on with that human. If it was a pokemon who beat the Gible, Nidoran wouldn’t have any problem walking out from her hiding spot. Maybe. But she wasn’t sure what to do with humans. In all honesty this was her first time meeting a human, as she kept living in this cave, rarely meeting anyone other than pokemon. She usually stayed away from fights as well, only fighting when she had no choice, or if someone she knew was in danger.
However, the human sounded nice at least, so gathering her guts, she stepped out from behind the rock and took a better look at the boy in front of her. He didn’t seem to be dangerous, so she wasn’t too wary anymore, but the fact he could beat a Gible was still something impressive. "Nido." She tilted her head, flicking her ears and sniffing into the air in the human’s way, leaning forward a bit. Yes, he definitely seems nice, not someone to go on a rampage around the caves.
"Nido, nidoran!" She exclaimed happily, obviously less wary now. She wondered who this person was, and what he was doing here all alone.

Now, he might not have a female nidoran on his team, he was a huge fan of both genders of said pokemon. Seeing one now was a nice surprise. He watched her with interest, not really in the mood to fight every single pokemon he met today. True, this was only the third. But still, he did like a rest after a battle.
"Hey there, nidoran. Nice to see a friendly face here in a place like this," he told her, and then, "looking for pokemon in these caves--it's hard work." He smiled at her, and his tone, too, was friendly. It was, too. The caves were dark, and there wasn't as much room to maneuver in them as the 'great outdoors' would have provided. Still, he'd come here hoping to find some unique pokemon. He'd found gible, and that was a good start. Nidoran was a great pokemon too. Spinerak had been more an idea than something he was one hundred percent sure he wanted to capture, but it was now inside a pokeball anyhow, just like gible was.
"What's a nice pokemon like you doing in a cave like this?" He asked it, leaning up against the wall and letting out a small sigh. Well, he was lucky gible had done more damage than it did. Still was a bit of a pain, though. Another battle like that and he'd need to use a potion, potentially. He wondered if nidoran liked living in such a dark place. It was pretty warm inside some areas of the cave. He supposed it wasn't so bad. But if he were a pokemon, he'd want to live somewhere a little more open, near a place he could shelter when he needed to. [/style]
