WILD GIRAFARIG APPEARED! [/style] Girafarig || Male || Sap Sipper || Normal / Psychic || Level 9 Power Swap || Guard Swap || Astonish || Tackle || Growl || Confusion || Odor SleuthWILD LILLIPUP APPEARED! [/style] Lillipup || Female || Run Away || Normal || Level 7 || Leer || Tackle || Odor Sleuth ||Run, run, run, run, RUN. It was what Lillipup did best, whether she needed to get away after snatching a bit of food from the city above, or was fleeing from something bigger and stronger than she was. Her running today had consisted of both. A couple of hours ago, she'd snuck up through a loose grate into the streets, waited around outside a food stall until she saw an opening, then snatched her would-be meal and dashed off.
Unfortunately, once she'd got back into her tunnels through the passage down only she knew of, and prepared to fill her stomach, a Persian had attacked. She was a crafty little pup, but she knew her limits. Taking on an evolved Pokemon with eyes as malicious and hungry as that one's had been was not within them. So she'd fled, and would keep running until she was absolutely certain that the larger feline was not after her. Hopefully the massive underfed cat would be satisfied with the meal Lillipup had been forced to leave behind. Her stomach grumbled painfully in reminder.
Her feet flashed, her tongue flapped loosly beyond her teeth, and every time her front paws came down, she panted. The path she'd been forced to take for escape put her in a section of the tunnels that she'd never before visited, and so consumed was she in her sprint that she didn't even notice the human shape loom out of seemingly nowhere until she was too far along to change her path. With a growl, she pushed herself to be even faster, hoping to dart around or between his legs and be on her way before he could even react. Few Pokemon in the tunnels could match her ability to escape considering her speed and small size, easily able to squeeze through holes.

He still had a few pokeballs left, though, and the exit was a bit of a ways away yet. He saw a pokemon running towards him, and it looked like it didn't intend to stop. He let it rush on by, not really interested in that particular normal type anyhow. He was sure that he wanted to use his other pokeballs on something that might actually be of interest to himself. Not something that he wasn't even sure if he would find trading purchase for at the marketplace. He wasn't really a huge fan of normal types. They really could be useful, and if he came across one that he was certain he would want to have, he might have been willing to change his mind. As was, that was not one of them.
He wanted to get girafarig out of these tunnels before he troubled it by letting it out. Sure, it could probably be of help, but it was obviously cramped down here, and he felt capable of dealing with the matter of capturing a couple more pokemon on his own. So it was that he made his way in a precise direction, slow enough to keep his eyes peeled for other pokemon, yet fast enough to be making progress. Perhaps he would be fortunate enough to run into another ghost pokemon here? He only had one he was interested in, but if there were ghost types down here in the tunnels he might grow fortunate enough to lay hands on one.
The tunnel turned into a bend up ahead, and more light filtered down from the overhead grate. He paused here, and allowed sunlight to wash over him. How dreary it was to be in a place without the moon or sun's light! Sure, there were functional lights installed into the walls periodically so that it was not really ever dark here for long, and yet it was not capable of taking the place of natural light. No wonder ghost types could be found down here! They liked dark places like this one. He slowly began walking again, reluctant to leave the natural light behind. [/style]

WILD DUSKULL APPEARED! [/style] Duskull || Female || Levitate || Ghost || Level 8 Leer || Night Shade || DisableIndeed, the Tunnels beneath the city of Aether were heaven to Ghosts. Most Ghosts. Duskull, was bored. The smell, dark, the lack of worthwhile targets to follow and torture, it all made for a life with little joy, not that many expected a Pokemon such as her to experience much joy. But she did, or at least she used to. And she missed it.
She missed it so much, that when the dark haired male who wielded the power of a Dark Pokemon revealed himself in the battle against that idiot Gastly who had always annoyed her to no end, she decided to follow. The battle had woken her, but she was willing to forgive and forget for something so interesting. The fact that he could tear her apart in seconds with a Dark Pulse attack made it all the more exciting. So she stalked, silent as only a Ghost Pokemon could be, following his form through the dark winding tunnels.
She wasn't certain what her first move would be. Sure, scaring was fun and all, but only for a few seconds. It was so... usual. Maybe something new was in order, something more than just leaping out and giving him a scare. Hmm. But what? She pondered as she followed, passing up a half dozen good points on the path the human was taking that were perfect for an ambush.
Duskull's attention was so stretched between the human and her plans, that she didn't realize she was below the open grate and floating, now visible, in unfamiliar sunlight, until it began to itch at her skin. "Skuuuuuuull!" She shouted, cursing her failure to keep focused, and quickly darted for the other side of the pool of light, hoping to fade back into the shadows before she was seen.
