To think he had honestly believed that the DNA was all stolen from Epispect directly... He'd found out the truth today. The real facts behind why illegal gijinka were hunted down so ruthlessly. He couldn't believe he'd only found out now, and the dangers that he was faced with due to it. He still didn't agree with it. What about those who had the virus and couldn't afford it? Yet, someone still had to die for them to get their cure. It was so messed up! As he sat on the steps thinking about it, he was still in shock. Gijinka were killed...and he had the DNA of one who was possibly killed so he could have it. He'd bought it in ignorance, but ignorance would be no excuse. He didn't even have the virus. What if the person who'd died for his stolen DNA did? What kind of person had had the Houndoom's DNA before him? Rufflet pecked his shoelace, irate with his trainer's misery of the past few hours. The normally perky and upbeat teen was wondering what the hell he was supposed to do now. Not that he knew of any in Epispect who knew about him. But what if they found out? Now, faced with this, he was starting to think what kind of effect it would have on his future. Was there anyone rooting for people like himself and the ones who actually were innocent? Maybe some group or street gang, even? It would be nice to have people on his side...he might need that at some point soon. "Ruuuu!" Rufflet hopped up the steps and onto his lap. At least he had his pokemon. His very first pokemon, and his favorite of them all. Rufflet was a cheering thing. He still needed a name for the little guy. He'd just arrived here to grab a bite to eat after a trying day battling pokemon in the Wastelands. That was where he'd overheard the conversation. It had changed his entire perspective. Maybe his life. All he could think of was what happened now. Wondering who had been murdered for his DNA was a horrible guilty thing. As he sat there, he poked at his poutine with a fork. Rufflet snatched up a fry, gobbling it down like some worm. At least one of them had an appetite.
