Ignite the light and let it shine CAUSE BABY YOU'RE A FIREWORK [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]
The mountain was so beautiful! Miyu inhaled deeply. The air here was so fresh and tasted clean as could be! She stopped by a stream, bending down to take a drink of the cool, refreshing water. There was nothing like this anywhere; not that she had seen. She stood up again, rocking back on her heels, a pleased smile settling on her features. She could stay here for a long time, and never want to leave. There was something mystical about it. It was lush, beautiful, and at this level, at least, it was a nice temperature.
She was here to find pokemon, and maybe as an excuse to be somewhere this nice. The mountain was rumored to have a village hidden somewhere up in it. She loved the idea, but she'd heard of people getting lost here, too. She didn't want that, even if she was romanticizing the idea of it all. A hidden mountain village, in this beautiful area...she would have loved to visit, if she wasn't a girl on a mission! She felt so happy and free, more than ever in her life. She was officially a trainer! Albeit one without pokemon...
That made her stop and look around. She couldn't exactly be a pokemon trainer without pokemon, now could she? She was willing to be all kinds made a home of this beautiful place. There must have been tons and tons of them. Out of all the places to search, she'd picked here. She would get to spend time here, and get to hopefully catch a pokemon for her team. She pulled out her notepad, and flipped it open. A list of just six. Six pokemon that she hoped that she would have at some point in her future. That was her dream team. She sighed, realizing she hadn't really needed to look at the list to recall which were on there, and closed the notepad, slipping it back into her knapsack. No, she remembered. And now, while she stood here, she was keeping both fingers proverbially crossed that she'd be lucky enough to find one here.

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Lunatone || Genderless || Levitate || Rock/Psychic || 09 Tackle || Harden || Confusion || Rock Throw || The woman was stuck within her own world, apparently unaware that she had been followed this whole time. As soon as she came to the mountain, the pokemon had been following her movements. Watching with an unchanging gaze, the girl seemed more interested in the environment. Well, maybe the Lunatone could change that as well, as its body began to glow, rocks lifted up from the ground.
Launching them towards the woman, the Rock Throw, would hit unless the girl decided to become more aware of things. The Lunatone had aimed them for the back of the head, to see if the human was truly paying attention to things.

Ignite the light and let it shine CAUSE BABY YOU'RE A FIREWORK [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]
Miyu wasn't sure where the attack came from, but she heard something, and whirled around, just in time to see rocks coming straight for her. She quickly leaped to the side, but not before spotting the pokemon who'd flung the attack in her direction. She frowned, before turning tail and taking off. She had no interest in Lunatone at all. Plus, it had almost managed to hit her with that attack! Obviously she had the sense to get gone before things got any worse. She slowed to a jog, and then a walk. Go figure the first pokemon she saw wanted to attack her...just her luck. She was content to just have gotten away from it, and the danger.
She sighed, stopping underneath a tree, sitting on a boulder with a flat top. It was so very nice up here...she was sure she would find some interesting pokemon living on the mountain. The scenery was breathtaking. Lunatone had been wrong in thinking she was not completely aware of her surroundings. She was frequently found lost in thought, and had been often enough taken by surprise to be able to react much more quickly now than before. She realized that her gijinka dna had a large part to play in that. Her reflexes were far better now than they had ever been before.
The espeon gijinka leaned back, placing hands behind her on the rock, and crossing her ankles. She'd been hiking a while now, to get here. She wanted to find the secret village, but didn't think she could unless she went much further. Though she was feeling adventurous, she didn't want to get lost--not today. Today, she wanted to find and capture some pokemon for her team--or to trade for ones she'd want for her team. That was the point in this all, after all. So she kept eyes and ears open, hoping to see something while she was sitting still. If not, she could move on shortly.

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Roggenrola || Female || Sturdy || Rock || 7 Tackle || Harden || Sand-AttackThe Roggenrola had been resting comfortably the whole day, basking in just the right spot. One where the trees offered enough shade, but the sun had enough room to hit her as well. This was so nice right now, she could stay like this forever, or at least until something came by to try to attack. Sometimes the other pokemon around here were a pain in the ass.
Suddenly there was sound nearby, and the Roggenrola stirred awake, noticing that there was someone nearby. It was interesting enough to see just what this person was about with its sudden appearance. Waddling over, the Roggenrola looked up at her, "Roggen?" Maybe she was looking for some company? She couldn't tell, but she seemed to be in thought about something.
Maybe the Roggenrola could help the human.

Yet, as she was approached by another pokemon, one she recognized as roggenrola, she noticed it didn't really look hostile. It wasn't attacking, at least. That much was good. Then it 'spoke', as pokemon did, anyhow, and she looked at it curiously. Did it want something from her? Or was it just curious?
"Hey there," she replied. It was perfectly natural to her to speak with the pokemon. She'd been talking to them a lot more since her DNA transfer, yet she had talked to them before, too. A lot of them clearly understood. Others...not so much. It was hard to tell which was which right away. She watched it, it seemed to be eyeing her curiously enough. It was an interesting pokemon. That was the word she put to it. Interesting. She had always pictured herself with a cute kind of pokemon. Something that started cute, then got all tough and awesome. This was an interesting pokemon, and maybe it would be helpful to just catch it and work with it for a while? Mutual sort of helping one another? Humans helped pokemon get stronger. Pokemon helped humans win the battles, catch other pokemon...it didn't seem like a bad idea to her. There was even a trade center in Aether. Everyone had pokemon they really wanted to get, and that was a great place to find people who might be looking for exactly what you had.
"It's pretty nice up here, huh? Great view..." she acknowledged. The higher it got, the nicer the view. Farther, and farther...she could see so much. The pokemon who lived up here had their own little paradises. They were lucky to live somewhere this nice! She felt lucky to have the freedom to visit the mountains, or anywhere she chose. Did smaller pokemon like this fear leaving the safety of what they knew? Did they crave adventure like many humans--and gijinka--did? It would have been interesting to know. Probably some did. WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Roggenrola || Female || Sturdy || Rock || 7 Tackle || Harden || Sand-Attack The human noticed her and decided to greet the little rock. She took the initiative and hopped atop the boulder where the female was sitting. This one seemed to not be so interested in battling, which was refreshing for the Roggenrola, it was a bit tired of constant battles. Staying on its feet, as sitting was never a good idea when you were as round as a ball.
"Rog, Roggen," she replied, she often enjoyed the view of the mountains herself. It was why she enjoyed lazing around as well, it meant she could enjoy the view that much more. Granted there was a lot more of the mountains to see than this, but she was content with this part of it. Others seemed to want more and see more, she would like that, but she also wanted to find the right spot for her. Just finding anyone was something any of them could do, but how many could wait in one spot for the right one?

Maybe it had seen the mountain village? It had lived up here probably its entire life. She thought that it was exciting living on the mountain. Not as exciting as traveling, though. Roggenrola wasn't very big, besides. How far could it travel on its two small feet? Maybe since it could roll, faster than she thought.
"It's a bit lonely up here," she said aloud, thinking as she spoke. True it was nice, but not all the pokemon were nice. Lunatone had surely shown her that, if nothing else. The little rock type was far nicer, but did it have friends among the pokemon here? A home? She wondered, not for the first time, if battling pokemon outright and capturing them didn't upset some of them. What if they didn't want to go? What if they were happy just where they were? People said that once you befriended them, they were far happier. But how anyone could know for sure she didn't know. Some pokemon weren't caught by the nicest people. Surely they weren't happier. Still, she at least knew she was nice? That stood for something. Maybe better her, than someone else. Maybe that was the guilty kind of logic many used.
"Are you all alone up here?" She voiced, looking down at the round pokemon with tiny feet. She wouldn't have liked that much, being alone. Even if she had the whole mountainside to live on, it wouldn't be the same alone. Maybe some pokemon, like this one, were alone, and maybe they wanted to go with a human who had other pokemon it could befriend. She didn't have one, not yet. But a friend of hers had one waiting for her once she was down off the mountain. A little eevee. She hoped it would evolve to be an Umbreon. For now, though, she was as alone as the rock pokemon here. [/style]

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Roggenrola || Female || Sturdy || Rock || 7 Tackle || Harden || Sand-Attack It was nice to just be able to sit and relax a bit, without worrying about someone sending out an army after her. Then again, she was still here so those armies paled in comparison to the Roggenrola anyways. Regardless, this girl wasn't attacking her, so she would enjoy the peace for however long it would last.
"Roggen?" the little rock questioned, why was being in a peaceful place boring? There was plenty of other living things here, not all were bad, she had met a rather friendly Machop just the other day. They had helped each other to get some food and even divided it evenly between them. It was a nice place here, at least for her, she had nothing to really be sad about, she got what she needed.
"Rola," he though the words were not easy to translate, hopefully the tone would be something that translated. She wasn't lonely, then again, she didn't interact a lot with others so it was never an issue anyways.

It was pleasant to converse with the smaller pokemon, even though she didn't understand its words it had its own tone and way of responding that she thought she could somewhat understand.
"Do you see many people up here?" She asked, and then admitted, "I came up here looking for pokemon like yourself, to accompany me in my travels and for friends. The lunatone I met just before you attacked me though...I guess not all pokemon are friendly--just like not all people are." She smiled at it, then added, "my name is Miyuki, by the way." She thought this little roggenrola was pretty smart. It seemed smart. She wondered how much it had seen and done so far in its life. No one really knew why some pokemon evolved and some didn't--the theory for wild ones was that they battled without trainers, on their own. Still, it was a lot harder without a trainer to take you place to place to do so, and meet with other trainers who also had pokemon to battle and get stronger, or that they met like this in the wild.
She nodded to its 'response'. It didn't sound lonely, just kind of amiable. So maybe it wasn't lonely, after all. It might be happy. She was curious, though. "Do you ever hope to evolve, roggenrola?" She wondered if some pokemon actually didn't. Maybe they were happy the way they were, and that was that. Still, she really did want it to come with her. It was her first time at this, and she was uncertain. If she'd been given a pokemon of her own...but no. Gijinka didn't get a pokemon, they had to go get one. She thought it was a bit unfair, but there hadn't been anything she could do about it. [/style]

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Roggenrola || Female || Sturdy || Rock || 7 Tackle || Harden || Sand-Attack Had it met many humans? That was an interesting question, there were a few that came by, but they never stayed long. "Ro, roggen," without any appendages, it was hard to get its message across, not that it was completely understanding things either. It was mostly just guessing, based on the type of conversation they were having, but also using a bit of empathy. It was able to make educated assumptions about the conversation.
Then she mentioned something about evolving, human words were confusing and hard to understand at times. The tone and expression seemed to imply something about becoming stronger though. So, Roggenrola assumed it meant becoming like the bigger forms that wandered the mountain on their own. "Roggenrola," it was ambitious sure, but finding the right human to partner with was the trick. She didn't want to belong to someone that would mistreat her. Rather she wanted to be with someone that would show her care.
She'd seen plenty of those people that abused their pokemon, and she would have none of it.

While both parties did not completely understand one another, the conversation still proceeded along at an astoundingly good level. Miyu was also quite empathetic. It had become far stronger when she'd gotten the espeon DNA, though she had always been so. So, as she watched and listened, she was able to discern more than someone else might have done.
"Well, there are a lot of awesome trainers. I personally treat my pokemon as friends, and equals. I know not everyone is like that..." she trailed, off, remembering times she'd been truly appalled by the way a trainer was treating their pokemon. She wanted to rush in and take it away, or give as good as the pokemon was getting at the hands of a cruel human. She would never, ever, treat her pokemon, her comrades and team, like that.
"Not all trainers are like that," she said, expression quite serious now, and then she smiled and pointed to herself, explaining, "my pokemon will be happy, and well cared for. I can't speak for all humans, but I can tell you others like me would do the same. Pokemon are to thank for a lot, you know." She paused a moment, thinking. Yes...a lot indeed. Well, could it hurt? Not like a pokemon would tell about this...
She suddenly began glowing with a warm, golden and purple light, and gently touched the little pokemon, passing healing energy and strength into her. Her Morning Sun move would erase all anxiety and injuries. She used it more than anything else she had in her arsenal. She wasn't really big on attacking pokemon herself. It was a little hypocritical, because all trainers battled their pokemon against others to help them grow stronger. Yet it kind of rankled her, as much as she had no real other option, seeing as how she didn't have a pokemon of her own yet to battle. She had avoided lunatone because she hadn't really wanted one in her team, and because she hadn't wanted to fight it. It was a conundrum. She wasn't going to get off so easily not fighting anything. That was almost certain. Still, if there were ways around that...she'd take them.
"See...? I'm kind of pokemon, too. Well, sort of," she said, a slight crimson coloring her cheeks. She owed them her life, and really, that was a lot to owe anything or anyone. [/style]

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Roggenrola || Female || Sturdy || Rock || 7 Tackle || Harden || Sand-Attack Of course the Roggenrola knew that not all humans were like that. She wasn't about to avoid them all just for the way a few acted, she'd been up in the mountains long enough to understand that there were differences. It was just like with Pokemon themselves, just because they were of the same species, did not mean that one would get the same result from them all.
"Roggen, Rol, Roggenrola," she knew that, there was no hostility towards humans as a whole. She just wanted to make sure that she found the right one for her. The mention of having pokemon to thank for a lot of things, got as much of a shrug from the rock-type as possible. Not all of them were that good, she figured that there were pokemon that didn't deserve any thanks.
When the girl started to gather energy, the Roggenrola shifted slightly. She was unsure of what this human was trying to do, until she touched the rock-type. Looking at the girl, the rock pokemon was curious about just what this girl was about. It seemed strange for a human to have the ability of a pokemon, she wasn't sure how to react to that. "Rogg," was all she could say in regards to the comment of the girl being a pokemon as well.
