The first thing anyone notices about Shirou is that this guy? Is short. We're talking 5'2", and destined to stay that way for the rest of his life--the height of an elementary school boy. He keeps hoping that, seeing how before he turned sixteen he would gain some height each year, he'll grow more. Only he can hope all he wants. He'll never get any taller than he is now. All things considering, he has other interesting features. His hair is pure white, like newly fallen snow. He keeps it a a decent but not long length, spiky and mussed is his natural style. His eyes are a turquoise, and usually his expression is somber and rather serious. He'll crack a smile every now and then but it's not so common for him. His build is tones and yet due to his smaller stature, he tends to look leaner. His style of dress is pretty decent. He always has a pair of sneakers, which may or may not have the laces tied though thankfully they are shorter and don't easily trip him up. He prefers jackets of leather, seeing as how they are good on wear and tear, and jeans and a shirt. Sometimes he dresses in a white shirt and tie with black pants, but that's just his school uniform. He doesn't dress to impress anyone. He just likes to at least look like he dresses his age, no matter if he's too short to look it!

★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
If Shiro had to be put into any real classified group, he'd probably get tagged as being emo. Not due to the way he looks, by any means. He isn't someone who goes around dressed in black all the time--so sue him if he likes the color black from time to time!--and really he doesn't hang out with that sort of crowd. If he did, it wouldn't bother him in the least. He's pretty particular about who he lets get close to him but he's not with any specific type of crowd. He's too serious, too somber and too down to earth for a guy of all of sixteen years old. Perhaps he's compensating for something? --coughshortcough!-- but whatever the case is? He's way too mature in behavior for a sixteen year old guy. He is practical, smart as hell, and has plenty of witty comebacks and comments, but he'd really rather not waste his breath. He'd rather just ignore the 'idiots' and do his own thing. He's pretty independent. Doesn't like to be the one taking the orders, he'd rather be in a position to be calling the shots. He has sort of a stand alone complex. If he lets anyone in, which is rare? You'll have someone at your back day or night, any time, any day. Loyalty is important to him. Honesty, friendship, family, justice...he's perhaps got a bit of a hero complex. When you're that insignificant in height, you gotta' have something, right? --dashes away to avoid a swat--
He's got hobbies, really! He likes playing video games, though not many would guess it. He tends to be super competitive and it's not a secret that he hates to lose and prefers to come out on top in everything. To make up for his shorter stature he has been taking martial arts classes since he was five, and is up to a black belt at this point. He figures that he could get picked on easy otherwise. After all, how threatening can a guy who is in high school and looks like he's in elementary school be? Seriously, he's gotta' be able to defend himself and he has a reputation for it, too. He does very well in school, at the top of his classes along with others who study hard and don't spend much time socializing outside of necessary school and life situations. He likes reading, which isn't too surprising. History and computers are completely his thing. He can build a computer from scratch, knows his way around one--haxxor!--and how to fix any problem a computer might ever get. He enjoys building model cars, aeroplanes, and boats. He's into science too. A regular little overly mature brainiac. He has a lot of good, tactical ideas and takes himself a little too seriously. He can be pretty judgmental of others, but he judges himself just as harshly, if not more so. Constantly training and studying to be the best, he is no slacker.
So far as relationships go? It's like he doesn't care to be bothered. He has caught the eye of a few girls, but his height makes him think they wouldn't be interested in more than a glance here or there. After all, it would have to be a shorter girl to want to be seen on his arm. And he hasn't got the time for them, besides. Not that he would know what to do with one. Girls are complicated, and he prefers to keep it simple and clean, thank-you very much! He has had a crush or two, but they were on taller, pretty girls who wouldn't have been interested. Not that they weren't nice girls. He likes nicer, sweet girls who still have a bit of innocence and naivety about them. That's just his style. He likes to protect, and well, those kind of girls would probably like that.
He is very tactical and so he excels at tactical kinds of things. It isn't too hard for him to beat others with tactics alone. Almost boring at times, unless he comes across opponents who are on equal footing or gets a real challenge. He's not unbeatable, after all, no matter that he's pretty darn good. He likes regular cards. Poker, Blackjack, all the games aren't too bad to pass the time. Too bad he mostly plays solitaire. He really lacks the social aptitude many others have. Still, it doesn't bug him. Better a couple close friends or flying solo than anyone who isn't worth his time.

H I S T O R Y
- Adopted, he was never social. He took martial arts from the age of five onward, as well as swordplay. He nearly died shortly after birth, and there were limited matches that suited him. He went to Epispect for a DNA blood transfer, and it was Dewgong's that saved his life. His adoptive parents were a little above middle class, and therefore it was expensive but not a real dent in their wallet for very long.
- Always the shortest, he was bullied for it in school. After the DNA transfusion, his pale blond hair turned white and his growth seemed stunted. He did phenomenally in school with high grades. His parents instilled good moral values and were well off, so he lacked nothing growing up save that he never had more than one or two friends, and was always usually distant.
- He was bad with relationships, the longest lasting a week. He was a lone wolf who had people to do things with if he wanted, but had problems getting close to them. He seemed able to get closer to females than males. He tended to do solitary activities, but since he excelled at school and was a good kid, his parents let him be.
- He debated being a trainer, but it involved dealing more with others, so he put it off. Then he decided he didn't want to miss out on the chance entirely and so he made plans, figuring his tactical prowess and smarts would do him well in battles.
