Mother said this and mother said that, but unfortunately, this particular little Vullaby didn’t listen to her mother very often. She waited until her mother had gone to find some food and then hopped to the very edge of her next, peering over to the street below.

”Vull… Vullaby!” She chirped to herself, trying to get the attention of anything nearby. Feisty thing she was, she wanted a little scuffle, maybe a decent fight. But at last, something walked right under her tree… A human and a floating thing. Whatever that floating thing was, it seemed to be a good fight. ”Vullaby!” She waved her little wings in the air, trying to get some attention.

The little bird continued chirping at the human and his Pokemon just below, waving her little wings in the air to get their attention. The human seemed to pay her no mind, which was an insult all to itself, but the Pokemon finally did notice her after a few moments. It floated upwards towards her, seeming to stare her down for a couple of moments before suddenly launching itself full speed at the bird.

”Vullaby!” She was knocked clear off the branch and down into the concrete below, managing to land on her feet and not breaking anything by some miracle. With an angry chirp, she summoned her strength and used Gust, followed by a Fury Attack.

Being smacked in the face by a furious attack wasn't pleasant either, but it's steel skin helped a good amount as it went in for another take down. The Vullaby chirped in triumph when her attacks hit home, thinking that it must’ve done some damage. The recoil from the Beldum’s previous takedown must’ve done something as well, but what she wasn’t expecting was another attack so soon. The steel and psychic type came flying at her, smacking her square in the face with another takedown, though thankfully, she fell right out of the way of the other.

Getting back up, though a little wobbly on her feet now, she launched another Gust with her little wings and hoped it would do some real damage.

It hurt the pokemon using it at the same time as hurting the opponent, and while it wasn't hurting as much, Penthus was already starting to get frustrated. There had to be a better way. Perhaps some rare candies would be better? AT the very least they'd be less annoying you deal with. They wouldn't require an endless supply of potions. With his second takedown missing, Guarneri was forced to endure another gust of wind. Once more, it wasn't particularly damaging, but the metal object was already starting to tire as he lunged forward with another take-down. He wasn't going to let up, even if it took him down, and he went in for a followup take down without pause. ”Vullaby~” The little bird cried in triumph as her gust attack hit the Beldum, but it didn’t last for much too long. Despite it’s supposed weight, the blue Pokemon was rather swift, and the Vullaby was tossed high into the air by a succession of take downs that she had no time to avoid. She landed in a bush not too far away with a plop, struggled to get up and stumbled back onto the pavement where she hit the ground and didn’t move again. She really would’ve listened to her mother.
