Terra giggled happily, a new egg in her arms. " The beach!" she squealed, kicking off her shoes and running onto the sand, " Oh, I love the beach!" She ran out onto the sand, glad that that suspicious old man had told her that eggs liked being placed in the sand. But first, she had to have a little bit of fun. No point in trekking all the way out here without getting a little bit of entertainment in, right? She'd never felt sand on her feet before, and she stopped to squeeze her toes into the sensation, giggling when it squished up between her toes. Finding a good spot that got plenty of sun, she plonked herself down onto the ground, her arms still tight around the new egg. " Hrmm..." she mused, looking down at the egg contemplatively, " What to call you..." A pair of paws gently pressed against the eggshell, and all of a sudden, there was Sparks, her precious little Eevee who had somehow found this new egg and brought it to her proudly. She loved Sparks with all her heart, and she was ecstatic that he trusted her enough to bring her a new baby for her to cuddle and love on. " Ee Eevee?" he stated, cocking his head to the side in that adorable little confused expression he was so good at with one ear flopped over to the wrong side. She giggled at the sight, dipping down to kiss his forehead first, the the top of the egg in her arms. " I love it when you do that, Sparks," she cooed, just knowing in her heart that he was trying to suggest a name for her. " You're such a cutie when you do it." Sparks dropped down at the kiss, grumbling about something or other as he curled up on his Trainer's lap around her egg, closing his eyes to sunbathe a little. Terra let him too, her focus more on the egg in her lap than her Eevee, knowing that Sparks could take care of himself. He was smart, and it was her job to take care of him and the egg, not his. OOC: Mkay, the order here is Terra, Ai, mod? I think? I don't know, I don't pretend to anymore. >.> Team- Sparks Eevee egg (Nightmare) 1/10

She had long dark hair, pretty purple eyes, and a pale complexion. However, she was not a normal woman. She was what they called a Gijinka. Her DNA had Umbreon genes scattered and stretched throughout her biological cells, however she was still a person. Well, anyway, in her arms were a small Eevee egg that some stranger had given her and a Spheal on her head. Frosty was a sweet Pokemon, slightly jealous though over the egg.
The beach was their destination. It was nice to get out at some points in life. Especially since Ai hardly relaxed. She was always on the move, always. And this kind of ticked the seel sphere Pokemon. Now, he wanted a nap other than being in a Pokeball all day. Of course, it was only on rare occasion that he was actually in his Pokeball...
Ai sighed softly, but continued with her same gently smile as she caressed the egg. Once they got to the beach, she noticed that...they weren't exactly alone. WILD LAPRAS APPEARED! [/style] Lapras || Female || Shell Armor || Water/Ice || Level 4 Sing || Growl || Water Gun || Mist The beach was, as always, a relaxing kind of place. The way the waves gently rocked the lightly dazing dual-type as she floated quietly in the shallows was nothing but pleasant, even if the water was a bit warm for her liking. It wasn’t enough to really bother her, however, and she was content to simply bask in the sea as if it were some high-quality bed for wild water Pokémon such as herself. Here it was much softer here by the shoreline than out in the open ocean, where frighteningly strong Pokémon lurked in the deep and the waves rose and fell as tall as human dwellings and as wildly as a herd of rampaging Rapidash, and the Lapras made a point to enjoy it while she could.
If only her companion weren’t so determined to complain about it.
“Deli bird deliiiii?” Can’t we go back to shore yeeeet? The flightless flying-type clinging to her shell complained, his dark eyes latched on the stretch of sand - not to mention the two girls currently occupying it. The Lapras sighed, shaking her head as it lay flat against the water’s surface, her long neck stretched out lazily. The movement sent tiny ripples through the water around it, but she never batted an eye as the salt of seawater never bothered them much. “Lapras lar. Lap lap Lapras.” You can go if you want. I’m not done relaxing yet. With that comment she snuggled down against the waves once more, wondering again why she allowed the Delibird to follow her around. He was often loud, frequently made demands of her on where to go, and enjoyed sticking his beak into other’s business. Perhaps she merely accepted his company for the sake of having someone to talk to when she was feeling lonely.
Predictably, she heard a huff followed by a plop as the penguin slipped into the water, no doubt swimming clumsily toward the girls on the beach. Heaving a sigh, she lifted her head and swam along quietly behind him, knowing that if he stirred up trouble - and he usually did - he was likely going to need her help.
WILD DELIBIRD APPEARED! [/style] Delibird || Male || Insomnia || Ice/Flying || Level 5 Present The red-and-white bird snorted at the sound of his Lapras friend’s flippers paddling the water behind him; he knew she wouldn’t leave him alone. She never did, no matter how annoying she insisted his antics were. He told himself it was because she looooved him, but it was probably just more trouble to find another travel buddy than it was worth. Still, he was glad to have her as backup in case his moves, er, backfired on him as they had a tendency to every now and then.
It only took him about a minute to reach the shore, as they had not been close to the waves’ end in the first place. With a squawk, he stood in the shallow water, shook the water from his feathers, and cast one last look behind him to see Lapras still floating behind him, shaking her head with a resigned look on her face. Good, she was still there. Satisfied that he wouldn’t be going into this alone, he turned his attention back toward what had grabbed his attention in the first place: the nearer, dark-haired human girl. Or rather, the Spheal on her head. Little did he know that she was far more dangerous than the creature seated on her. A mischievous grin - or as near to one as his beaked face could produce - split his face as he dug in his feathery tail and drew out a glowing sphere. Not caring if he hurt the girl or the egg in her arms, he immediately chucked the Present at the trio, chuckling to himself at the explosion that was sure to ensue.

Terra squealed in delight when she saw the two Pokemon. " Oh, a Laprassssss, I never thought I'd see a Lapras!" Gently setting her egg down on the sand, her hands digging a little nest for it to be protected from the surf and the other Pokemon, and then nudging Sparks off her lap, the little Eevee sitting vigil beside the egg protectively. She wanted to pet the Lapras, she wanted to pet the Pokemon so bad! Giggling happily and skipping over the sand, she made her way to the Pokemon before she paused dead still, realizing there was another Pokemon here. It was... a Delibird? She'd never seen a Delibird before either! " Delibird!" she squealed in delight. " Oh Delibird, do you have any presents from Santa for me?" Sparks sat next to the egg, sulking a little. ' Stupid egg,' he thought, ' I gave Terra-love the egg so that I wouldn't have to take care of it.' He yawned, glancing over at the egg before rubbing his tail over the shell like a brush, flicking off some stray bits of fiery hair and sand off the egg, wanting to make sure the baby Pokemon was okay. He looked up to see the girl with the Spheal on her head and the Eevee egg in her arms and yawned, deeming them no threat to him, the egg, or his Terra-love. He leveled his gaze over the shore and froze at the sight of the Delibird. Oh no, he wouldn't... Apparently he would. Getting to his paws, he darted forward, jumping into the air. " Ee!" he cried, hitting the Present with his paws to deflect the attack from the girl and the Eevee egg. " No, Sparks!" Terra screamed when she saw her Eevee spring forward and touch the Present with his paws. It was likely about to explode on him! Tears welled up in her eyes and she wheeled on the Delibird. " Lava Plume!" she yelled, throwing her hand out. It didn't take much to reach that spark of fire inside her, the thing having been pulled to the surface with her fear and anger, but she dug anyway, throwing out as much fire as she could outwards in the direction of the Delibird. It would pay for hurting her friend, it would pay! They would all pay for hurting Sparks! OOC: ... Poor Sparks, he's probably gonna get exploded on... However, this triggered the woman's interest. A Lapras would go wonderful on her team. Slowly, she raised up and looked over at the group. The Eevee the other woman had tackled the present that Delibird was going to give the Ai. It was then she used a fire attack, Lava Plume, on her own. 'So, she is like me....hmmm...' the woman thought to herself as she put the Egg down on the rocks and watched the Eevee. "Frosty, stay here and guard the egg..." she said, her voice soft and gentle, as her gaze went to the Eevee. "Thank you, little one, for protecting my egg, Spheal, and I....that was very brave of you." her smile still very soft and gentle, as she reached down to pet the small brown ball of fur then went to walk to the other girl and the two Pokemon. The Spheal nodded and sat beside the Eevee Egg, watching Ai as she walked towards the little group.
Now, normally Ai never enjoyed using her Pokemon moves. But, for this one moment, she knew she had to. "Mean Look...." she said. Her eyes glowed red slightly, glaring at the two pokemon. The Mean Look would keep them around hopefully. "Now....what's going on here?" she said, her look rather blank and her voice slightly monotone. Blinking slightly, she looked over at the Delibird and gave a gentle smile. "Are you all right Delibird? That Lava Plume didn't hurt you too much, right?"
But then, her attention went to the Lapras. Such a pretty looking Pokemon. "We don't have to battle....I'd rather not. Perhaps we could just relax and enjoy the day..." she spoke, trying to change the atmosphere of the air. She glanced at all of them one by one. WILD DELIBIRD APPEARED! [/style] Delibird || Male || Insomnia || Ice/Flying || Level 5 Present While his Present missed its planned target thanks to a meddlesome Eevee’s intervention, the Delibird still let out a harsh chuckle as the glowing sphere exploded in the normal-type’s paws with a blinding flash of light and a sharp crack. Ha! That’s what he got for sticking his nose in someone else’s fun. Well, okay, maybe he didn’t really care all that much who or what his attack hit as long as he got a reaction out of it, but that was just the kind of mischievous Pokémon he was. It didn’t matter what he was facing really, as long as he could provoke a battle out of his target. Wonder how good I got ‘em, he thought with another self-satisfied snicker as he changed direction, running toward the fading light in hopes of getting a better look at the Eevee’s no doubt startled face. The explosion had been a weak one compared to what the move was fully capable of, but a boom was a boom!
And it was a boom of entirely different matter that flew into his face right as the flash died down, the Eevee’s enraged trainer coming to his rescue with a jet of flames the color of molten lava and the Flareon gijinka’s hair. The dual-type let out a surprised squawk that turned into a pained shriek as the fire consumed him, scorching his feathers and melting the ice within him in an instant. The knock-out was quick and efficient, and the penguin-like Pokémon collapsed onto the beach’s sand the moment that the flames receded, obviously unable to answer Ai’s question due to falling unconscious. Before he lost himself completely, he could just barely make out a smug-sounding snort from his sea-born compatriot, the sound seeming to tell him “I told you so” as his pain-wracked mind sank into the darkness.
WILD DELIBIRD FAINTED! IT CAN NOW BE CAPTURED! SPARKS GAINED ONE LEVEL FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE BATTLE!
WILD LAPRAS APPEARED! [/style] Lapras || Female || Shell Armor || Water/Ice || Level 4 Sing || Growl || Water Gun || Mist A disappointed shake of her head accompanied the Lapras’s snort as she watched her companion bite the dust in a brilliant conflagration as if he were a sliver of ice melting away in like a the face of a mighty inferno. Normally, she would have stepped in to help at least minimize the damage that he suffered in his recklessness, but with the flightless little bird knocked out completely there was little she could do to help him at this point. If nothing else, she could always pull herself onto the beach and set a Water Gun to douse the flames still eating away at his red and white plumage here and there, but nothing more. Not to mention that when she did try to move a sudden shiver down her shell-coated spine froze the partial water-type in place, halting her with a jolt. Her wedge-shaped head swung atop her graceful neck, dark eyes scanning the beach for the culprit to find the young woman in question staring back with an intense Mean Look.
The Lapras stared right back, questions buzzing through her mind as she locked eyes with the Umbreon gijinka. Was the girl angry, perhaps, that she and her partner had interrupted an otherwise pleasant outing? Or had they been caught up in a trap of some sort? Cautious eyes switched their gaze over toward the other girl, the redhead who was capable of spouting off flames. It was rare for two humans with Pokémon powers to venture down to the coast at the same time, but it did not appear that the two were working together. Besides, she thought, turning her attention back toward Ai, this one hardly seems like she wants to harm anyone despite her fierce looks. Truthfully, the young woman could have probably taken her down if she so wished, but she was willing to just relax. After dealing with her Delibird “friend’s” whining all day, the dual-type had to admit that some more uninterrupted relaxation sounded wonderful - provided that her idiot of a companion got some help first. For an annoying, reckless bundle of feathers, he was not a terrible Pokémon and didn’t deserve to lie there burning on the sand. Before she could open her mouth to agree with Ai or point the previous fact out, however, a darting shadow from across the beach caught her attention and she instead let out a cry of alarm, hoping to alert the Flareon gijinka of the approaching danger before it reached her.
WILD HITMONLEE APPEARED! [/style] Hitmonlee || Male || Unburden || Fighting || Level 2 Revenge || Double Kick A wordless glare flew toward the Lapras near the water’s edge as a Hitmonlee sprinted toward an Eevee that he hoped would prove to be an easy target. The last thing he needed was for the sea-dwelling creature to draw any attention to him before he could land a knockout blow on the normal-type. Not when the creature’s trainer was already on high alert and capable of roasting just about anything foolhardy enough to wander within range of her fire attacks. So why, then, was he risking his hide now in attacking such a risky target rather than running laps down the beach as he was accustomed to?
It might have had something to do with the fact that he was weak. You could even call him pitiful. Compared to the other Pokémon calling the beach home, he was downright pathetic, so when a nearly equally weak Pokémon showed up out of the blue one day with its fire-throwing partner, who was he to turn down an opportunity to score a quick win against an opponent with a natural weakness to his fighting moves? Even if the trainer still took him down afterward, the boost he received from even a small victory would be a welcome one, and so with grim determination he sped toward the fluffy fox-like creature before lashing out with first one long, stretchy leg twice in quick succession, hoping to catch the smaller creature with his Double Kick before his trainer intervened.
OOC: I’m sorry this post is bad. Cori and late-night posting does not always mix.

Terra let out a little scream when the Present exploded on Sparks' paws. " No, Sparks!" She turned, growling at the Delibird. " If you weren't sleeping, I'd hit you again whether you told Santa I was naughty or not!" she stated, pouting slightly as she dug around in her bag. " Pokeball, go!" she called, throwing it at the Delibird. It was obviously evil... and since it worked for Santa... that meant that Santa was evil! Immediately swearing vengeance against the jolly old man who would break into her house, Terra swore to herself that she would never again leave him cookies. Maybe she'd even make the Delibird tell her where his evil lair was. Yes, it made perfect sense! Maybe she could even get Sylvester to go with her too. It was worth a shot. He was a nice guy and would no doubt help her bring the evil Santa Claus to justice. Or something. Either way, he would not be evil anymore and kids would still receive their presents in peace without them exploding. Sparks, on the other hand, was in quite a pickle. He groaned, picking himself off the ground, shaking his head. That explosion had hurt. It had hurt bad. Bleary, he caught the sound of an alarmed cry, and wheeled about to see a large Hitmonlee bearing down on him. Letting out a little yelping noise, he darted backwards, scrambling over his own paws as he avoided the kicks aimed his way. He didn't want to get hit with a kick! That would hurt, and he was already aching all over from his last feat of heroism. He did not like playing the hero. It got him hurt. And now here was even more reason for him not to like it. He was just glad that no one was going after the egg he'd left behind in the sand. That would be something he would never forgive himself for if he had let that happen, even if he had never intended for it to. OOC: Go on, poke the egg, I dare you! And just for the record, Santa is evil. I mean, come on, he's a fat guy in a red suit who breaks into your house and watches you at all hours of the night! That's not creepy (or illegal) at all! *sarcasm* Team- Sparks Eevee egg (Nightmare) 3/10

Oh yes, the Pokemon seemed healthy. Definitely one that Ai needed for her team. But the Umbreon Gijinka's thoughts were interrupted by the cry of the Lapras and the yelp of the Eevee. The woman with the dark type abilities looked over to see a Hitmonlee attacking it. Her purplish eyes then looked over to the Spheal, who nodded and rolled it's way over to defend the little fox-like Pokemon.
See, unlike most Pokemon, Ai didn't mind her's doing things as long as there were a good reason. So, once the Spheal was in range, the dual-type shot a Water Gun to the fighting type as if to say 'Pick on someone your own size'. Of course, that was a horrible thing to do, being as Hitmonlee was bigger than Frosty and probably quicker than him as well.
But Ai had faith in her Pokemon. She looked over to the Lapras again. "It would be nice if you would join my Pokemon and myself on our journeys. I can say...it won't let you down. WILD DELIBIRD APPEARED! [/style] Delibird || Male || Insomnia || Ice/Flying || Level 5 Present With a resounding smack, Terra’s Pokéball hit the Delibird dead-on, and the force surely would have drawn a squawk of protest from the crispy-feathered penguin if he weren’t already so far gone. The ball bounced off the bird’s skull once before opening, sucking the unconscious Pokémon into its prison in the blink of an eye. Then it snapped close with a sudden click, a sound far too light for what it was: a noise signifying his previous life among the waves with his friend and causing mischief where and when he pleased coming to a sudden and definite end. As the sphere hit the ground, it wobbled but once, as if the being inside still had some resistance within him, but it was but a trick of the wind and the ball came to a halt in the sand all too quickly. Now, the supposed evil underling was at the mercy of his self-proclaimed enemy, who would probably try to pry all of Santa’s diabolical plans out of him at the first opportunity. Not that the flying-type knew of any plots, but he would surely have a difficult time explaining that to the angry and slightly delusional Flareon gijinka.
WILD DELIBIRD WAS CAPTURED!
WILD LAPRAS APPEARED! [/style] Lapras || Female || Shell Armor || Water/Ice || Level 4 Sing || Growl || Water Gun || Mist A sigh of relief escaped the Lapras as she turned her gaze away from the Hitmonlee, Eevee, and the vanishing form of her friend as he disappeared into the Flareon gijinka’s thrown Pokéball. Her cry might not have done much, but at least it alerted the Eevee to the approaching danger, which made the graceful ocean-dweller feel a tad less guilty for failing to stop her idiot of a companion from throwing the Present that injured him in the first place. It was also good to see that the girl apparently had no intentions of just leaving the candy cane colored bird there passed out in the sand, but at the same time the water-type had a sneaking suspicion that his troubles were only just beginning.
Oh well. Whatever happened to him, it was out of her hands - er, flippers - now. He belonged to the red-haired girl, and she...well, what was she to do but enjoy the newfound peace and quiet? At least he finally found someone in possession of equally absurd amounts of energy, she thought with a slight smile, before the dark-haired girl caught her attention once more with a voice whose softness was in stark contrast with her frigid, dark looks. The sharpness from her glare before was nowhere to be seen now, and the Lapras found herself silently agreeing once more with her previous judgement. While she did not understand the girl’s words completely - her understanding of the human language was poor at best, thanks to a life spent either out at sea or gliding through the waves near the nearly abandoned stretches of this lonely shore - she swore that she could hear an asking tone in the trainer’s voice. Her words did not even sound questioning so much as they were outright inviting, but what then?
The Lapras blinked, realization finally hitting her like a crisp, sudden wave to the face. This girl...wanted her to join her team? Well, wasn’t that a surprise! And yet, it was not an altogether unpleasant one, especially since her companion’s stupidity had more or less permanently severed their relationship. Really, if she chose not to accompany the young lady and her Spheal friend, what did she have to return to now? Afternoons floating in the sea were relaxing, sure, but without anyone around it was bound to get lonely. Perhaps a change of scenery - and some new friends - would do her some good. And while the Lapras doubted that Ai was the sort to take her by force if she declined, there was always the chance that she might. It was better to go willingly than start off on the wrong foot by fighting as the Delibird had, was it not?
Her mind made up, the Lapras gave a quick nod while making a soft warbling sound of cheerful - if a bit reserved, as she often was - agreement. It might be a spur of the moment choice, but really, what was there for her to lose unless she was actually silly enough to turn the Umbreon gijinka down?
LAPRAS IS WILLING TO GO WITH AI! SHE CAN NOW BE CAPTURED!
[/center] [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD HITMONLEE APPEARED! [/style] Hitmonlee || Male || Unburden || Fighting || Level 2 Revenge || Double Kick Silent curses bolted across the Hitmonlee’s mind as his fluffy target evaded his blows, deftly dodging away from his otherwise well-aimed kicks. He had thought that the injured normal-type would be easy pickings, but it looked like this was going to be far more difficult a battle than he’d anticipated. That was the thing about having long, stretchy legs like his for one’s primary weapon; he had a long range, but at the same time it was easy to see them coming and maneuver out of their path. Argh, this was all that Lapras’s fault, ratting him out like that with her warning shriek, and what for? It wasn’t like he was hurting her in any way! His only objective here was to gain a quick strength boost by taking down something pathetic enough that even he stood a chance against it in battle. So what if the creature in question was already injured from his previous encounter, not to mention downright adorable? This was a matter of life and death! He needed to get stronger to live too! It shouldn’t matter, then, how low he had to sink in pursuit of that strength, either to himself or any other Pokémon.
As soon as his legs retracted once more, the fighting-type prepared to strike out at the Eevee with yet another round of Double Kicks, but before he could snap out his leg again a harsh blast of water struck him in the back, the force of the Water Gun nearly sweeping him off his feet. The Hirmonlee’s already narrow eyes contracted to mere slits as he spun around furiously, forgetting the Eevee for a moment to deliver an angry glare at his attacker, water droplets flying from his rapidly bruising skin. A rotund little seal Pokémon apparently thought it would be fun to join in with his fellow dual-type in playing hero to the Eevee. Again, anger burned through the Hitmonlee’s veins, wondering why all the other Pokémon here seemed incapable of minding their own Arceus-damned business. Something within him snapped then, and despite the fact that the Spheal was no doubt more than a match for him in any battle, the fighter swiftly changed his priorities from “gain easy levels” to “make that nosy ball of blubber pay.” With a silence that seemed out of place given his rage, the irate creature took off in a reckless charge toward Frosty, only stopping to lash out with a Revenge once he was close enough to strike the smaller creature.
OOC: Sorry if you wanted the next Pokémon rolled now, Alice. I decided to wait till next turn so you guys won’t have to read through four sections of modding. ^-^’

Terra giggled in delight, running forward. " Yeah yeah, a Delibird!" she chirped, scooping up the Pokeball with a gleeful expression that almost seemed a little too tinged with malice considering her usually sweet, childish nature. " You're gonna regret siding with that chubby evil man..." she cackled, metaphorical fire crackling around her as evil music played in her head before it all stopped and she blinked. " I hope the egg's okay!" she mused quietly, skipping over the sand to go find the little egg nestled in a little hollow. Grinning widely, she settled down around it, lying down on her side with her hair fanning out in the sand behind her while she stroked the shell happily, a blissful expression on her face. She loved her Eevee egg, though she hoped it hatched into a girl. That way Sparks would have a girl to make him less of a grumpypants. Sparks let out a little gasp of surprise when a huge blast of water shot over his head to hit the Hitmonlee, his little eyes wide at the unexpected help. " Ee Eevee!" he shouted indignantly at the source, a Spheal, the little Eevee's bushy tail swishing behind him. ' I could've handled that myself!' He then blinked when he realized what the Hitmonlee was up to. " Eevee ee ee!" he cried loudly. ' Oh no you don't!' He gathered himself up and charged forward, scampering as fast his little paws could carry him before he threw himself forward for a Tackle at the Hitmonlee's back. After all, one good turn deserved another, right? OOC: ... Kuro'sgonnagodieinaholenow, kthxbai. Team- Sparks Eevee egg (Nightmare) 4/10

"Just press your head on the button...and you will be able to travel with me." she said with a gentleness. This was good. She would have a Pokemon in which she could easily ride over water in order to get better Pokemon. The only one on her team that wasn't a water type was Grace, her Ralts. But at the moment, the psychic type was resting in the Pokeball. It was too hot for her, definitely way too humid for the beautiful psychic type.
However, the water was cool. Perhaps she should let all her Pokemon out at some point in order to enjoy themselves as well. But for now, Ai's main concern was the Hitmonlee that was attacking the Eevee and the Spheal. "Frosty...let the Eevee handle it if he wants....he seems to want to." called the woman gently, noticing the Eevee's body language.
The Spheal nodded, then looked to the Eevee. "Spheal Spheal Spheal" said the round, seal like Pokemon to the Eevee as if saying "I will let you handle this one. But thanks for helping me when it was about to get me. WILD LAPRAS APPEARED! [/style] Lapras || Female || Shell Armor || Water/Ice || Level 4 Sing || Growl || Water Gun || Mist Nodding in understanding, the Lapras delicately lowered her large head to the point where her snout was almost resting against Ai’s proffered Pokéball before the large dual-type nudged herself forward in the sand just a tad. A gentle tap from her nose to the little button was all it took to trigger the device, sending a red glow surging forth that engulfed the seafarer nigh instantaneously. Then, as soon as it began, the light faded away, taking the Lapras with it as it drew her into the sphere, which let out a soft ping from its place in Ai’s hand to mark the successful capture. That was all there was to it really; no drama, no last-minute struggle for freedom. It was a calm, easy befriending - in fact, compared to the scuffle going on just down the beach, it was almost too tranquil.
LAPRAS WAS CAPTURED!
[/center] [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify] WILD HITMONLEE APPEARED! [/style] Hitmonlee || Male || Unburden || Fighting || Level 2 Revenge || Double Kick You know, this was really turning out to be a shitty day for the poor Hitmonlee. First, he couldn’t even hit a defenseless little fuzzball, and then a roly-poly water-type who couldn’t keep his own nose out other Pokémon’s business and battles. But what was absolutely and without a doubt the worst thing to happen to him today was when the Eevee - abandoned to take on the bigger threat, the nosy Spheal - decided that he wasn’t done with the fighting-type yet and charged him from behind. For such a tiny ball of fluff, Sparks sure had a mean Tackle and the sudden impact on his back right as he was launching his Revenge attack sent the Hitmonlee falling and flailing in the sand...and, after a moment of tossing sand and silent cursing, the writhing tangle of a creature finally came to a very embarrassed stop on the wet beach.
Somehow, when the Eevee had tripped him, the Hitmonlee had managed to wrap himself up in his own long, bungee-cord like legs, trapping him in a tight sphere not unlike that annoying seal who was gleefully running back toward his trainer now, no doubt happy to have completely ruined his day. In his rage, he jolted his jumbled, aching body forward in an attempt to at least smack the retreating dual-type with his body, but all he succeeded in doing was flipping over and burying his face in the sand. On the bright side, his species lacked mouths, so at least he avoided eating a whole pile of the stuff. However, he wasn’t lucky enough to escape getting gritty bits of beach material lodged in his eyes, which only made him flail around more. Sand in your eyes was not a pleasant feeling, and it only added one more injury to the mountain of personal insults against him. Forget the Delibird; this was downright pathetic, almost to the point where even observers might feel embarrassed for the struggling creature.
There was only so much flailing and glaring into the sand that burned his eyes so could do, though, and after a moment the Hitmonlee appeared to realize the futility of his situation. His curled body slumped and his tangled limbs went limp as he gave up completely, willing that whoever wanted to attack him next would at least make it quick. And oh great, as if he wasn’t already feeling low enough a huge chunk of hail just had to pick that exact moment to fall right smack dab on his exposed back. Yeesh that was cold!
WILD SNOVER APPEARED! [/style] Snover || Male || Snow Warning || Grass/Ice || Level 6 Powder Snow || Leer || Razor Leaf The latest newcomer to the beach grimaced as small chunks of ice fell around him, their chilly presence completely out of place on a warm day like this. He never meant to ruin anyone’s day with the spontaneous hailstorms, it just sort of...happened. That was why he tried to stay up on the cliffs, hiding in their shade or in the caves he sometimes found carved out by the constant waves in the rock, but how could he stay cooped up inside or hiding away when there were real live humans down there on the beach? It was hard to believe that a walking snow-covered tree could squee, but that was exactly what this one was doing, trying to contain his excitement behind his arm-like limbs. Human were so interesting, but he rarely got to see them up close! Mostly, he just saw their footprints in the sand long after they’d gone or found things they’d left behind sitting there abandoned. But today he was lucky enough to see not one but two of them in the flesh!
Scooting out from the shadows near the rocky cliffs above the beach, the Snover cautiously approached the closer of the two girls - the one with the dark hair, who’d just captured a Lapras. If she was willing to capture the sea creature without a fight, then maybe she would be nice enough to tolerate him poking around for a while? He really thought humans were intriguing creatures, and he really wasn’t looking for any trouble, just a chance to observe one up close for a little while!

Sparks let out a little mrowing sound of amusement at watching the Hitmonlee tangle himself up on the sand. An evil little smirk bloomed on his adorable face, eyes glinting with unrestrained malice as the Fighting type stumbled and landed badly from his previous attack. He raised up his paw for a moment of posturing, fur ruffling with pride, before a piece of hail hit him on the head. He whined softly, darting the the Hitmonlee with his evil smirk in place, jumping and bouncing on the poor thing's back for a few moments to get the height he needed to flip in the air and send another Tackle careening at its back, hoping to faint the thing. That way he could drag the Pokemon back to Terra to roast! He'd always wanted to try meat, and why not do it with the flesh with his defeated enemies? It would be a wonderful prize! Terra jolted up when the first chunk of hail hit her, letting out a little scream along with it. " AHHHHHHHHHHH, THE SKY IS FALLING!" she screamed, flailing her arms. She looked about for Sparks, finding him just as he was bouncing on the poor Hitmonlee. " C'mon, Sparks, we're leaving!" she called, shivering. She had come to the beach to sunbathe and help her egg hatch, which it couldn't do if it was hailing. Yep, she might as well head back to civilization. It'd help her interrogate that Delibird too! Grinning, she decided to even get the Hitmonlee out of the storm too. " Pokeball, go!" she called, tossing it up into the air in the direction of the two Pokemon before she turned, scooped up her egg, and began walking away. Sparks would grab the Hitmonlee if she caught it, and if not, he'd just scamper on after her. Either way, she didn't need to look back. Everything would work out on its own. OOC: Short post is short and crappy. Oh well, I'm sorry, Alice, knew you wanted the thing, but well... this is just a lot of stress for both me and Cori, so I'm gonna nod out and try to take the ONLY available Pokemon for capture. If it doesn't catch, it's all yours. Either way, Kuro is out! Team- Sparks Eevee egg (Nightmare) 5/10
