To cross out what i’ve become There's no blood, there's no alibi [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,507,a table] | [atrb=style, background-image: url(http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g368/RyuujinYoukai/tables/FrozenDiamonds1.png); webkit-border-radius: 20px; -moz-border-radius: 20px; border-radius: 20px; border: 5px solid 143c64; padding: 6px;][STYLE= width: 350px; background-color: #648da1; opacity: 0.9; -webkit-border-radius: 20px; -moz-border-radius: 20px; border-radius: 20px; border: 4px solid 143c64; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; color: #000000; padding: 5px; float: left;]When Akira had first snuck out the doors of Epispect with the help of Riki, never once had he thought that he would be returning under such circumstances. He figured, if he was to return to the wretched place, that it would be against his will - that he would have been defeated or caught by an epispect hunter and dragged back in chains. He despised that place with his entire being - the tests they put him through, the experimenting and most of all... his father. But certain things meant a lot more to him than being confined for life... and it was those certain things that had him making one of the biggest decisions that he would ever come to make. Between feedom and captivity, he would choose the latter in favor of the people he had come to love in his time away from Epispect.
Time and time again did his simple existence outside of Epispect bring trouble to others. He was wanted. Hunted. The more time he spent away, things became more and more dangerous... for others. Rarely did the boy place himself before others... and that's why he was finding himself in this current situation. With everything in his place tidy for when he was gone, a single, neatly written letter left on the kitchen table for the landlord, explaining everything and asking only a few, simple things to set things away and straight.
With one final look around, the boy grabbed his jacket and left his home, the night dark and cool, heading in the direction which he knew would be the quickest. He had made up his mind... and he didn't want to waste any time and possibly change it. Things would be better this way, after all. Releasing Kana from her ball for what would be the last time, he climbed onto the oversized Absol's back , the dark-type sensing something wrong as she began to move, glancing back at her trainer on her back. Generally when she toted her human around, she purred softly, a motion which she knew comforted the boy. But today, it was lacking... she knew it wasn't time for such things.
The trip was spent in silence, the boy staring at the fur on Kana's shoulders as she padded through the empty streets, nobody in their right mind wandering around at night, knowing very well what lurked. Part of Akira wanted to meet one of these such lurkers, knowing that they would take him back quicker than he would make it there alone, dissolving any resolution he may have had to stay away right then and there. But the closer they got, the more that Akira couldn't help but to feel guilty... and the more fear his heart felt. Even with the resolve he had to protect those he loved, he feared going back... but other things outweighed it. He kept telling himself that.
Entering the park, Akira brought Kana to a stop, sliding from her back and settled to stand next to her for a few moments, the Epispect tower looming over them even from this spot. Silver eyes remained on the building as hs sighed, his hand gripping in Kana's fur, "You remember what I told you... right, Kana?" It was then that the situation dawned on the Absol, her bright blue eyes falling to the ground. "I'm sorry... there's a little time left..." He spoke, referring to the time it would take to get there. More than likely, once he was taken in, he wouldn't be allowed to keep any of his pokemon... the painful good byes all said and done to each and every one he had, the balls still sitting on his belt where they always remained.
Quietly, he continued forward, Kana following, unwillingly making no motion to stop her trainer, the two heading closer and closer to Epispect, where Akira would willingly hand himself over.

Welcome to a world
WHERE THE AIR I BREATHE IS MINE
nothing to overwhelm me and nothing to cloud my mind
No active pokemon out
The cool, night air was grabbing violently onto Kei’s hair and clothes as he was rushing through the abandoned streets of the bit city. If he was an electric type gijinka, there would probably be sparks flying around him, blacking out the street lamps he occasionally passed. He was vaguely aware that his eyes might be glowing with a pale red light, but he could care less.
He was furious.
He was having a bad feeling for a while now, but after having a conversation with Akira that afternoon, he just couldn’t calm down. He couldn’t explain the reasons, but Akira’s words stuck as a warning, but he didn’t trust his instincts enough to listen to them. What could happen with Akira anyway? He was a strong gijinka, and wouldn’t go down that easily in a fight, and most of all, he wouldn’t just give himself up. Driven by worry and bad premonition, Kei left his room at the slums to visit Akira in the middle of the night – only to find his apartment empty. The place was in order, and the only thing he found was a letter addressed to a random person he didn’t know... Fury flared up in him at the realization of what the boy was possibly trying to do, and Kei did what his pokemon DNA allowed him to do – started tracking Akira’s aura out the apartment and through the city.
Even his pokemon were able to feel his unease and fury, that might be the reason why they decided to remain in their pokeballs instead of coming out and bothering him further. Kei was able to travel quicker if he was alone too, and he couldn’t allow himself to be slowed down this time. He wasn’t sure how far Akira went already, but judging from the tracks he left, he couldn’t be that far yet. Extremespeeding toward the park with a last burst, he was finally able to see the flaring aura of the other. He already knew Akira’s like the back of his mind and he could track the boy through it any time he wanted, but the tracking paired with his fury really made him feel a headache coming on.
Panting just barely from the forced rush, Kei stepped toward the other from behind the park’s trees, calling out for Akira, his anger barely masked in his voice. "And just where do you think you are going?" His eyes still had a faint glow, as if he was readying an attack of his own, but it just showed the repressed emotions that he could still hold back enough not to beat the Gardevoir gijinka back to his senses before he even said a word.

With the DNA he was given upon his transfusion, he was granted with Empathy... he could feel the emotions of those within a specific radius around him. And while it seemed calm, the presences he felt those of beings who slept peacefully through this night... one stood out in particular. It was a rather angry entity from what he could feel, and it was heading straight for him... and fast.
The first thought in Akira's head was that someone had seen him and sent a spy or a hunter after him, and he felt relieved. His decision had been solidified, no turning back now. Stopping, Akira decided to wait for his fate to catch up to him, Kana looking back at him with question... but at the same time, she was relieved to see the boy hault. In her mind, she wondered if Akira had changed his mind about turning himself in, her head tilting as she purred, Turning to face the boy. "Sol?" she questioned softly, butting her head against his shoulder in a comforting way.
The silver-haired teen remained silent as he raised a hand to her face, petting her soothingly as he knew she liked, waiting still. Closer and closer the entity came and faster and faster did his heart beat - he couldn't deny that he was scared, the slight trembling proved it... but he wouldn't turn away. He needed to do this... to keep everyone safe... to keep him safe. As The entity stopped behind him, Akira knew this was it and closed his eyes, resting his head against Kana's... until she made a noise of familiarity, greeting the being who was behind him. It was someone they knew.
And the voice only confirmed it.
"Kei..." Akira began, not turning to face the other. His heart sank, his stomach twisting itself in painful knots. He knew he had been caught... but it wouldn't stop him from trying to play it off. Turning slightly to side glance at Kei, Akira continued to show affection to the absol by his side, running his gloved hand over her snout as she eyed Kei. Offering the other boy a small smile, he shrugged, keeping his voice quiet... he knew Kei was livid... "Just... out for a walk..." He didn't think Kei would buy it... but he wasn't about to tell the boy he was going to turn himself in straight up. [/style]level 10 || female dark super luck I'm Active! | |
