Gilbert prefers not to mingle with the Epispect lot for obvious reasons; after having lost three families members because he was unable to pay the correct price, he understandably finds himself drawn to pursue friendships with members of Team Rocket. Gilbert would be more suited to having a wide variety of friends - he can never truly become especially close to anyone and therefore seems to float from one friendship group to the next, never really staying long enough to make any lasting bonds. Gilbert needs one who he can trust, but one who will allow him to disappear idly. I am open to any friendship plots.

These will have been gathered mainly from Team Rockets aversion to Epispect. The rest of his enemies are people that his relentless, thrill seeking self will have picked a fight with. His enemies will not be afraid to look him in the eyes - as a habit acquired from his Gijinka Serperior DNA, Gilbert has a habit of glaring darkly at anyone who wishes to face him before actually fighting them. If they look down or away, then they're simply not worth his time. If they don't... let the games begin.

As a result, Gilbert has been pretty closed off to any sorts of 'loving' pairings - he seems to regard love with the same regard as one may regard a dead mouse brought by their cat, some interest and some disgust. Deep down, Gilbert has the almost womanly desire to be looked after, something that probably hails from the death of his mother and the neglect he suffered as a child. Gilbert also has a mild... dislike of women. Their needy ways and manipulations bother him - he prefers freedom to being enclosed with a woman who will only pick fights with him. I am open to any romantic plotlines, if you think you can twist Gilbert's perception.
