[/style] swinub || male || snow cloak || ice/ground || level 08 tackle|| odor sleuth || mud sport || powder snow "Swinub!" he cried. Think you can take me human? He was being rather cocky, that is until the same human he had just attacked turned on him and came rushing at him cloaked in fire. The attack stunned him, a huge blow which nearly knocked the poor creature out then and there. Managing to hold on, the fur covered creature snorted and squealed in anger. While he was busy doing so, he failed to notice the second attacker.
Betrayed. Swinub had entered battle to save the poor defenceless ponyta and now here a ponyta was pounding his poor hide into the ground. What has the world come to? The tiny hooves made contact, but they lacked the power of a more experienced pokemon and did little damage. His fur singed and his anger boiling the Swinub faced the ponyta that had decided to attack him and used a powder snow on it, followed by a tackle.

Alexi smirked when he saw the Swinub was knocked backwards from his attack, the Zebstrika Gijinka skidding to a stop, flames dying around him. Heh, let that show him for thinking to mess with him! He turned, rolling his neck to see Remus kick the Swinub out. "Remus, dodge!" he called, and the Ponyta neighed, darting around the Powder Snow attack. "Now, meet that Tackle with another Double Kick!" Knowing what his Trainer wanted him to do, the little Shiny Ponyta wheeled and snapped his hooves out as hard as he could, whinnying as he kicked before he gathered himself off and galloped out the way, wary for the next attack. WILD SWINUB APPEARED! [/style] swinub || male || snow cloak || ice/ground || level 08 tackle|| odor sleuth || mud sport || powder snowHate cloaked the Swinub's vision in a haze of red, the fresh wounds of betrayal stinging nearly as much as the burns covering his little body and leaving patches of fried hair in foul-smelling patches all over his tiny body. Why? Why would another Pokémon side with a cruel, strange human over him? Squealing in blind fury, the Swinub barely registered when the Shiny Ponyta danced around his Powder Snow with dainty steps, only focusing on following the crackling blue flames so that he could take down that - that traitor! But while the Swinub was charging forward with all the power his rage could grant him, the young Ponyta had the advantage of light fleet, allowing him to nimbly evade the stubby-legged pig's every move. However, there was something more to it, something else that worked in the flaming horse's favor that the Swinub was too engaged to consider: his own strength.
It was true that the Ponyta was still quite young, his hooves not strong enough to do major damage to the older Swinub under layers of protective - though burnt - fur, but when he was charging at his full speed he was unknowingly giving the Ponyta an opening to use his own power against him if he or his trainer chose to take it. And chose it they did, the raven-haired boy's orders ringing loud and clear through the caves, and the fire-type quickly followed them, striking out with a full-force Double Kick before the Swinub could realize what was going on or even change his course.
A sharp crack accompanied by a pained squeal echoed through the cave and hung in the air for a brief instant before it faded away with a soft thud followed by...nothing. An almost eerie silence hung in the air as the Swinub lay in the dust, out cold, the creature's chest heaving weakly. That last kick had broken something inside of him, the force of the Ponyta's blows multiplied by the Swinub's own momentum. It was over before he could even shriek in rage at his fate: to be defeated by a traitor to Pokémon kind and left to languish on the cold stone of the cave floor, humiliated and vulnerable.
WILD SWINUB FAINTED! IT CAN NOW BE CAUGHT! REMUS GAINED ONE LEVEL FOR WINNING! REMUS IS NOW LEVEL FOUR.

He could hear Alexander huff behind him when a few stray blasts of snow blustered around the Zebstrika Gijinka, causing the raven-haired male to draw his riding jacket closer around himself. His chest was heaving when his hooves finally made contact with the Swinub, sending the little thing packing as it fell to the ground unconscious, having been rendered in such a state by the Ponyta's efforts. Prancing about energetically, his knees lifting high as he trotted back to his Trainer, he stopped in front of the male to receive stroking along his nose, the Ponyta's ears flickering back and then forwards again. "Good job, Remus," the Zebstrika Gijinka praised quietly, stroking the other's muzzle. "You did well." The Ponyta snorted, his tail flicking behind him, and he looked around, wondering if Alexander had any other enemies he wanted him to take care of.
In fact, the Gijinka shoved a hand into his pocket, rummaging around until he found a Pokeball, tossing it out at the Swinub that had just fainted. He had come here, and he didn't like the strange silence here. Call him paranoid, call him weak, but he had a bad feeling about staying here for too much longer. His senses were straining themselves warily, searching for a possible threat, and while it might have been merely a hangover from his past, he was taking no chances. He was driven by revenge, not looking for his own death.

WILD SWINUB APPEARED! [/style] swinub || male || snow cloak || ice/ground || level 08 tackle|| odor sleuth || mud sport || powder snowShiver...shiver...shake...ping! While the Swinub should be grateful that Alexi didn't just leave him there to be a free meal for some predator to stumble upon, waking up to find himself in a human's possession of all things was surely going to be a nasty shock for him. With luck, he might finally go to a trainer who could work through his resentment, turning him into a good Pokémon for their team, but who could say what was really in store for him once that ball snapped shut with all the finality of prison doors swinging closed?
WILD SWINUB WAS CAPTURED!

What could the man possibly want with him, he wondered. "I don't like this quiet," Alexi muttered, throwing a glance over his shoulder in a flicker of narrowed coal eyes, obviously ill at ease with his surroundings. "It doesn't reassure me that all bodes well here. There was probably a reason I got sent here, and I sure as hell don't think I want to stick around to find out what it is." His jaw twitched, momentary pressure surging with his irritation. "Bastards, sending me out on a mission without even giving me all the details. Of all the nerve..." Tossing his head to shake off the thought, he instead quickly threw a leg over the Ponyta's side, throwing himself onto the Fire-type's back, though the hastiness he undertook the action with was sharply belied by the smoothness with which he settled upon the Pokemon's back, his weight distributing slowly and evenly so as not to put strain on his steed. "Let's go home, Remus," he commanded softly, his hands finding their way to rest on the Ponyta's shoulders, ready to find support there as he rode. "We got some training in, now let's get out of here before something shows up and tries to kill us." The Fire-type whickered in agreement, gathering himself up before he shot off, galloping through the cave entrance and off through the surroundings. Alexi may not have been looking forward to the report, but he had no intention of hanging around there to die. Death was not an option, at least not until he'd fulfilled his task of revenge.
