Illorie was angry. Infact, he couldn't remember ever feeling more angry than he was now. His teeth worried at his lower lip as violet eyes stared through narrow angry slits at the broken wall infront of him. The sun was bright, the birds were singing. The world was happy, but Illorie was horrible pissed. "Vahni." He whispered softly, curling more tightly around himself and tugging the familiar sweater far too big on him around his shoulders. "Vahni..." He whispered again, anger (and many other emotions) tinging his tones. His eyes never left that sunny crack in the wall, but he wasn't really looking at the wall. His eyes were on his memories, and each memory just made him more and more angry.

The little vulpix leapt up on the bed when his name was called, carefully trotting to his human's side and nuzzling close. Illorie had been off for a long time now, really. He'd go through stages where he was really sad, and then really mad, and sometimes he'd change so completely that he was hardly the same Illorie Vahni had grown to love. But today, Vahni could tell Illorie was in need of some companionship. With a sigh, he curled up at his human's back and rested his chin on the boy's hip. He could hear Sunil scratching at the end of the bed to get up, but he didn't move, just staying with Illorie.

Carefully the boy curled up tighter, holding the sweater he had found in Raven's stuff, laying in the dirty old bed he often put down. It didn't smell like him anymore, it didn't have that old feeling. "I should probably leave, huh?" He murmured softly, feeling Vahni's head tilt to look at him. Yet he didn't move, just staring at the sunny crack in the wall. "He probably isn't coming back, hey? Why would he anyways...." It's not like anyone ever stayed. Sighing softly he curled tighter and closed his eyes. "Bastard..." He whispered, anger biting at his words. Yet, as Vahni's large black eyes took in Illorie's face, he could tell there was something beneath the anger as a tear slid down the boy's cheek. The fire fox's eyes narrowed slightly before he sighed again and cuddled closer to Illorie, silently swearing that if he ever saw Raven again, he'd make him pay for the pain he caused Illorie.

It took every ounce of strength to make it back to the hideout. Pushing the vines aside the gijinka made his way slowly up the concrete stairs, careful of the crumbling stone and weaker sections.

He slowed his pace suddenly, realizing he'd been taking the stairs two at a time for the last few flights. Why was he in such a hurry? Even returning to the city after his last mission had been almost... rushed. And what a mission it had been, chasing down a client that had disappeared on him without paying and then having no way to reach anyone connected to him was conveniently missing. It had taken a few IOU's and a lot of dead ends to find the guy. It hadn't even been about the mission that drove him by the time he found the man cowering in his vacation home in the mountains overlooking the sea. It had a nice view at least, though Raven guessed his client wouldn't be needing it anymore.

He chuckled to himself a little, thinking of the way the man had squealed like a little girl begging for his life. It was almost unfortunate that he had needed to spare the man, some of the guy's more trustworthy "friends" had warned raven against anything more then scaring him. The fire-type had obviously taken them up on their offer and at the price of the vacation home he had been hiding in Raven had "spared" his life. He could spend some time with Illorie there!

He stopped dead in the stairwell. Oh god. Illorie. Now that the situation had been taken care of, Raven found himself filled with longing for his smaller companion. He want'ed to see him so badly... The reason for all the rush, had it been to see Illorie again?
"I'll find him tomorrow..."
No, tomorrow was too long of a wait. Now. He needed Illorie now. He would change into something not so covered in blood and dirt and then go and find him right now. He was practically leaping up the stairs by the time he reached the top and raced across the room to the dresser.

At first he didn't really notice the shape sleeping in his own bed, having only glanced at the much finer, softer one that he had bought for Illorie to not find him there. When he finally did spot the boy laying there his heart skipped a beat, a smile rose to his face and then was immediately crushed by a startled jump and a hiss when his heel knocked the wooden night stand next to it.
"What are you doing here?"

Someone was in their hideout! Growling slightly he shifted closer to illorie and moved to stand and protect his human. No one would harm Illorie, emotionally or physically. So he stared at the darkened door, waiting to see who had found their little run down hideout. He heard Sunil's little whimpering as he tried to get up on the bed, not wanting to be the first line of defense for their human. Illorie, however, didn't seem to hear it, just continued to stare at the crack of glowing sunlight and curling tighter among himself. As Raven rushed into the room Vahni bolted onto all four paws and began growling deeply. "Vuuuul." He growled, glaring at the man that had made his illorie feel this way. It's been far too long since they had last seen each other, and Vahni knew that wasn't good. So he glared at him as he moved through the room, shifting to stand over his human who was suddenly moving. Wide violet eyes moved to the sound of Raven's voice, a gasp spilling from him before he lifted himself onto his elbow. And he stared, that's all he did. He stared at him as if he were a ghost or something his imagination decided to make in his apparent depression. It was only the warning yip of Vahni that pulled him out of it. He shifted a bit to sit up some more, his mouth trying to form words as he just stared rather stupidly at Raven. Before his anger finally caught up to him. Tears welled up in his eyes as he grit his teeth. "What am I doing here?! Waiting for you!" He shouted then, clenching his fist. "And where in god's name have you been! I thought....I thought..." Tears welled in his eyes more and more before they began to slip down his cheeks so quickly. He lifted a hand to carefully cover his eyes, sniffling. "I thought...you were dead." Raven flinched at Illorie's words, sucking in a sharp breath and resisting the urge to lean down and cuddle with the little one. At the same time, he was also resisting the little voice in his head telling him to snarl and force the even tinier Vahni to back down in the presence of a greater pokemon.

It was at times like this, when he was so tired and so worn down by everything that the gijinka just wanted to curl up in the corner and sleep, leaving the world and all its problems to themselves for a while, that he had to remind himself that he was no pokemon. Not that he was considered human either but... he couldn't go around indulging in his instincts. For the umpteenth time he cursed Father for doing this to him. His hand twitched at his side, wanting to reach out and ruffle that brightly colored hair, knowing it would be as soft as silk between his rough hands. Even more then that, he wanted to comfort Illorie.

"Who would be stupid enough to wait around that long for someone? And why the hell are you in my bed?" Why not in his own bed? Wasn't it more comfortable then this old thing?Heck, why did he himself even still have it in the first place. he should just get rid of both of these tiny things and get a big bed for both- He pulled his headband down around his neck, running his hand through his hair with a second sharp intake of air.

"Tired..." he mumbled, eyeing the bed where Illorie lay. He almost blushed then, a reflex which always seemed to catch even his potent rapidash genes off guard at times, and wanted so badly to lay down next to him. To rest. Now that he had found Illorie, who at least seemed fine physically, he wanted nothing more then to rest. Standing was becoming a chore. He thought of just laying down right then and there next to him, but then he really did blush, turning away and tossing the headband on the night-table.
"So if you wouldn't mind."

But all he heard was Vahni's persistent growling, and the feeling of his heart dropping. So he stared, stared at Raven and waited for something better, something that would dry his tears. Yet nothing came. Absolutely nothing came. All Raven did was rub at his face and tell Illorie to move. With a glare he carefully shifted, pushing Vahni off of him far more violently than he should. "Fine." He whispered softly, turning his gaze away from Raven. He grabbed the sweater (raven's sweater) off his shoulders and tossed it off the floor angrily and stood from the bed, his back to him. "Fine." He whispered, his eyes on the ground. "You sleep, whatever." He murmured, feeling his own fatigue tug at the corners of his mind. There had been many sleepless nights where he stayed awake, watching the door in hopes he'd see Raven walk through that door. There had been too many nights where he awoke with a start from a nightmare of a bloodied face and cold, cold hands and a blood standed headband disgaurded in the rain. He stepped towards his bed then, not looking at Raven, not even turning so his back wasn't facing him. "Glad to see you're alive." He whispered, pulling back the blanket and slipping in too his cold, uncomforting bed. "Sorry I waited." He murmured. He laid there silently for a few short moments untill he felt the scrapping of Sunil's paws at the side of his bed. So he sat up carefully, turning to pick up his Eevee and hold him to his chest. He stole a glance at Raven before he quickly looked away and cuddled down into the blankets, sighing softly as Vahni jumped up to lay at his back. Large black eyes continued to stare at Raven, glaring deeply at him and baring his teeth as if to warn him about coming anywhere near Illorie. It stung a little. The way Illorie had looked at him, spoken to him. The gijinka stared at the spot on his bed where Illorie had lay only a few moments before, trying to ignore the hurt look he knew he would see if he looked at him now.

When he gave in and finally did peek at him, the only thing that he saw was the snarling ball of orange colored fluff perched on the bed. He sighed, ridding himself of his dirtied shirt and crawling into the bed. He lay there for a few moments, listening to the soft sounds of Illorie's breathing. The whole bed smelled of him, which yanked at something in his chest in a nearly physically painful way. He rolled over, trying to find some part of the bed that didn't remind him of something he wanted so desperately right now he couldn't breathe.

No luck. The bed, the pillow, hell the whole place reminded him of Illorie now. It wasn't just his own little hiding spot anymore, it was a private part of his life he had shared with the violet haired teen. Did he regret it? Slowly he sat up - after having tossed on the bed for several minutes - and sat on the edge of his bed. His eyes rested on Illorie for a few minutes before coming to the conclusion he already knew he would. How could he?

He stood, stumbling slightly as he made his way over to the ewer bed and leaned over it. He kept his eyes on Illorie, but his senses were focused on Vahni lest it try and attack him, not that the fire type could do much to the gijinka anyways. His left hand found support on the opposite side of the bed, next to Illorie's hip, and his other naturally pinned down the boys shoulder so that Illorie was facing up from his back, facing him. And then Revan leaned over him, his face hovering inches from Illorie's where it hung as he tried to form words of any kind. He couldn't speak, couldn't explain how much he had missed him the last few days and how happy he was to just have him back now.
"I'm sorry... I miss- I missed you, so much..."
He lowered his face, placing his lips on Illorie's forehead for a moment before retreating back to look into his eyes again, their color just as clear an vibrant as he remembered it to be.
"Sorry..."

What was so wrong? Did Raven hate the bed now cause Illorie had slept in it? A soft sigh slipped from him as he curled tighter, clinging to Sunil who was sleeping so peacefully. Oh, if only he could fall asleep so peacefully. Carefully he closed his eyes and nuzzled his head closer to Sunil, trying to fall asleep. All he wanted to do was sleep, that's all he wanted. And tommorow he'd decide whether he was going to stay or not. Life was....good before all this, wasn't it? When it was just him and the trail? Trying to find a bed in the night, hoping he'd be awake the next day. It was a good life, wasn't it? A life free of this heart ache that he always felt, this worry whenever Raven left. Sighing softly he just nuzzled closer to Sunil and tried to sleep, he'd decide in the morning. Just as he felt his fatigue finally take over his concious he felt the bed shift and heard Vahni's loud, protesting growl. Violet eyes snapped open and he gasped loudly as he was pulled onto his back, unable to do anything but stare up at Raven. There was no anger, just plain vulnerbility and sadness. His breath was caught in his throat as he watched Raven leaned closer and heard his words. His soft, stuttering words. His heart jolted and his eyes closed lightly as Raven kissed his forehead, and he hummed so lightly. A small smile touched his lips then before he lifted a delicate hand to drape over Raven's shoulder, finger tips carefully combing through his hair. "Raven." He whispered so softly, staring up at him with such a gentle look on his face. The peace was almost ruined as Vahni continued to growl, and Illorie just giggled and shifted, pushing Vahni away with his knee and then his foot, effectively pushing the little fire fox straight off the bed. He smiled up at Raven then. "I really worried about you." He whispered so softly. "I didn't think you were coming home." His voice nearly broke as he glanced away slightly before taking in a breath and turned his gaze back to Raven's. "Show me." He breathed. "Show me how much you missed me." Illorie's fingers at the back of his neck tickled, drawing out a faint smile from Raven. He blushed hard at the other's request, hiding his face comfortingly against Illorie's shoulder, aware of how close he was with every fiber of his body. He leaned more on the bed, reveling in how the psychic's body fit so perfectly against his own.

"Illorie..." he breathed.
He nibbled a little on the younger teen's ear, pausing for a second before he re-positioned himself better above him and bent to kiss him on the lips. It was a soft touch, gentle even, but there was a fierce longing there as well. The gijinka was elated. He was so... just so happy to hear those words from Illorie, to know that his lover didn't hate him for being so cruel. He quivered, breaking their short kiss to pull at Illorie's lower lip before kissing him again. but this time it was more fierce, more urgent. Illorie's taste, his whole being was his and his alone.

My Illorie...
And then something happened that scared him, frightened him so badly that he stopped, separated his lips from Illorie's and jerked away from him. Raven stiffened, ridged and hovering above the other gijinka with wide eyes and his breath held. His heartbeat thudded in his chest, beating pure adrenaline and uncontrollable need through his entire body. He tsked, removing his hand from Illorie's shoulder and reaching up to pull his headband over his face, except that it wasn't there, which was why he froze, panting shallowly and trying desperately not to look at Illorie.

It wasn't the boy beneath him that scared him, it was himself. His own instincts, his wants, his urges, his needs were becoming unstable. It was probably a cliche way to put it, but he was for the first time since he had gained control over his instincts unsure that he could stop himself. He had always been able to stop himself; sure his powers got a little out of hand every once in a while and his reflexes were faster then his brain on several occasions but he was always, ultimately control of it. And now, here with Illorie...
