She'd probably just end up following you around like a lost puppy the whole time and just stand around awkwardly without really participating.
Gwen's idea of fun leans closer to practicing her combat moves, training pokemon and exploring around the mountains and other areas along the outskirts of town. So if you have a character who is adventurous, or just needs a training buddy, they could probably get along pretty well.
Though Gwen has not joined a side in the war between Epispect and Team Rocket, she favors Epispect over Team Rocket and isn't beyond being friends with members of Epispect so long as they don't pressure her into joining them. Also she does feel uncomfortable about hunting down illegal gijinka and will feel very awkward if you try discussing it with her.
And of course other neutral characters are fine, whether they be gijinka or human. Gwendolyn does not discriminate.

Though there is plenty to dislike about her as far as personality goes. If your character has a problem with obviously skilled people who constantly doubt themselves, obsessive or indecisiveness, Gwen is all those things. She's also pretty uptight too.
Gwen isn't exactly hateful, at least not easily, but there are things about people she doesn't like. People who get overly excited and too readily violating her personal space do annoy her. Being a law abiding citizen of Aether, she avoids Team Rocket members and other criminals as well. She also avoids drunkards and alcohol like the plague and she'll easily become uncomfortable and attempt to flee the first chance she gets if she suspects a person attempting to interact with her is drunk, and she won't like you for trying to make her drink alcohol.
If you are looking for a bit more than petty dislike and want to make yourself an actual threat to Gwen, she is very susceptible to emotional abuse. It's not hard to break her with personal put downs and in general making her feel bad about herself. This only applies however, when the abuse is directed at her specifically at her. Her self confidence may be shot, but is still highly protective of her friends and pokemon and won't go down so easily when it's not herself under fire. [/style][/style]
