★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Aria is in the process of reevaluating her life, and hates that she is limited by Epispect, the company she once so loved and was so excited to be recruited into and finds now has changed drastically. Her life is full of secrets, and these are beginning to wear her down everywhere. She wishes to quit work for Epispect, the company which she once so loved is now giving her work she finds too wrong, even for someone with as much blood already on their hands as her. But, she also knows that there are consequences for doing so- such as her sister's and her own probable death. So she has to keep acting the model employee- as best she can anyway. With her sister, who she's reconnected with, she has to pretend that, while the loss of her Pokemon team has hurt her, she's recovering and becoming the happy person she once was. She can't let her sister know what she really does for a living, or how much danger their familial link has put the Breeder in.
The effort involved in keeping her smile in place for both Epispect and her family, when all she wants to do sometimes is curl up in a corner and cry, is beginning a gradual fray at the edges. Her loyalty fades further with everyday she works for Epispect and knows she's trapped, and they hand her more jobs she can't take. She's currently prone to severe bouts of depression obviously, and is trying to keep busy. Self-doubt is a new problem, one she doesn't have a lot of previous experience in. She doubts her battle ability, for getting her team killed, and her own intelligence. Had the company once been a good thing on a good path as she'd though when she was first recruited? Or was she just too stupid to realize what they'd always been, from the very beginning?
However... the reconnection with her last remaining family is keeping her steady, and it's what she focuses on every time she feels a moment of weakness creeping up on her. He keeps that facade in place, and herself busy, as opposed to sleeping twelve hours every day under the effect of painkillers and antibiotics.

H I S T O R Y
- Born to a lower-middle class family, she discovered a far greater ambition in her than was in her parents and sister and fought for everything she achieved in school and life. She would never be content with the same life her parents had, as much as she loved them.
- With her scores and the activities she joined purely for the eyes of those who would read her record and would decide her future education, she earned her way into bigger and better schools as the years passed, and even skipped one grade. Loved Pokemon, but decided that the only place Pokemon could serve in her future would be in a side hobby, as Training would not assist in getting her as high in life as she wanted. And she wanted it quickly. The sooner she succeeded, she sooner she retired and the more enjoyment she could find in life.
- She graduated from an amazing school at seventeen in the top percent of grades, and found her way already paved for her. Government assistance through one of their programs meant to increase productivity and 'hope for the future' by helping especially good students, allowed her to join a prestigeous Academy she'd had her eyes on but never dared to believe even knew about her when she'd sent in her application, as it was in the Upper District.
- At the end of her first year, Aria was contacted by an Epispect headhunter, looking for talented young people who showed the right stuff to be brought into a special program. She was promised a high up position with an amazing pay at the end of the program, and once her interest was piqued, the whole story was more or less laid out after she signed a contract regarding the consequences should she say a word. So she didn't go into the business blind. She understood in a vague sort of way what would be expected of her... but she'd always been ambitious, and was willing to do what was needed to get ahead. And it sounded fun. She believed she'd be hunting down and taking in criminals, those who used the illegally taken DNA of Pokemon to make themselves more powerful for silly reasons, not for any actual sickness.
- During her year of training, which included hand-to-hand, gun training, elemental resistance building and information gathering techniques to name a few, she more or less vanished from the outside world's eyes. Her parents died during this time, and she attended the funeral in a distracted daze, not even crying before she got right back to work. Her sister, a breeder by trade, cut off all communication at that point.
- She finished her training with distinction. Somewhat high ranking in combat, number three in Pokemon training in her program, and she was number one in situational awareness. The past year had been difficult, but she'd adapted, and thrived in the environment. To the outside world, and in official paperwork, she'd have a nice little title and job description that basically meant something between 'talent scout' and 'Gijinka/Human Relations'. But in reality, she was a head-hunter of a different sort. She was given targets, and it was her job to take them out and return with their blood, both for the value of the property that was rightfully theirs, and proof.
- She'd been desensitized to the taking of other 'human' lives by that point, they wouldn't have let her go out on her own if she hadn't been. Small jobs at first, for those who weren't big threats, or hadn't been very smart in their choices of Pokemon DNA to use to become Gijinka- Skitty, Shellder and the like. But her skill increased and she began to get bigger targets. A team grew around her, captured in the wild with the assistance of her first Pokemon, granted to her by Epispect, Tynamo. She chose the Electric-type for the lack of Elemental weaknesses.
- Over time, her jobs began to change as her bosses took greater notice of her skill and willingness to kill. Her success was her undoing. Children for instance, or just those who she thought of as children, which was anyone below the age of 20 in her eyes. She refused to harm a child, and even warned them, so she began to report back to headquarters with failure. Epispect did not fail to notice, and investigations were made, but they came to nothing. She'd been taught to cover tracks by the best after all.
- At 20, there came a new job. A BIG job, one that she jumped at for the chance to regain her employer's confidence and ensure her own safety in her workspace. Epic backfire. She went up into the mountains, tracking a Charizard Gijinka who'd acquired a new pyromaniac streak and was making trouble for both the city and Epispect. She found him... along with four other Gijinka he'd formed into a legitimate threat. They hadn't been in the file she'd received on the target. One she even recognized as a former innocent she'd allowed to 'escape'. In the battle that followed, she lost her entire team- Eelektrik, Khangaskan, Vaporeon- and Crobat carried her on his back all the way to the city before expiring.
- Epispect was not happy. She was severely injured and would not be capable of her full potential for months, without her team the time needed for recovery. Previous suspicions atop such a massive failure, the like of which she'd never been connected to before? Not good for Aria Clarke, the odds against her in that fight be damned. Aria began recovery, on forced leave. Broken bones had to heal, blood had to be replaced, and many colorful pills joined the usual vitamins in her morning routine. Surprisingly, there were some ideas mentioned by a few of her superiors that frightened her. They suggested the Gijinka transfusion, to make her less fragile in future battles. She violently refused. Not only could she not trust the company's offer considering how angry they were are her in general, she'd just watched her whole team be torn apart by Gijinka, and had seen too much evil committed by Black Market buyers to trust the power in her already dangerous hands. She didn't hate them, but she didn't want to be one of them
- Once released from the hospital, she began downtime at the apartment her job afforded her. it wasn't easy. Stir-craziness began to set in after so long sitting in one place, something she was very unused to. So did depression. With nothing worthwhile to do to occupy her mind and distract her from her lost and the fear for her future, she called one of the only people she could think of that she knew and wasn't a work buddy at Epispect.
Amanda Clarke. Her sister.- The sisters reconnected. The obvious injuries and depression probably helped her sister forgive her more quickly than would have happened any other time. Aria began to visit her sister at her Breeding farm daily, and spent time around the Pokemon, remembering the dream she'd had for all of three seconds before abandoning as a child, almost a decade ago. She was healing. Epispect still had a grasp on her. She began to subtly mention pulling out or retiring to a few friends from work. Soon after, a couple of familiar faces of people who had similar jobs as her own showed up at the Breeding farm of her sister and her fiance. She knew she couldn't quit, and stopped making noise. She'd just have to grin and bear it... for now. With a new Pokemon, newly hatched from an egg, given to Aria from her sister, she'd soon be ready to go back.
