His hair is somewhere between short and medium length, a bit scruffy and a light-brown color that appears blonde in some light. For clothes he wears either a long-sleeve grey shirt or a short sleeve tan shirt, with either a black or brown hoodie over it, which he always leaves unzipped. For pants he wears either blue jeans or tan cargo pants, with either black or brown hiking boots.

- Confident
- Playful
- Honest
- Protective
- Friendly
★ NEGATIVE:
- Stubborn
- Vengeful
- Short-tempered
- Overprotective
- Dense
★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- Originally, Eli was a very calm and patient young man. However, with the addition of Mankey DNA, he has become short-tempered and when he is angered it takes him a good while to cool down. For such reasons he tends to walk away from conversations he knows will set him off.
- He speaks in a high pitched voice when he’s nervous. Don’t ask why… because he doesn’t know why. He squeals instead of speaking and it tends to only make the nervous feelings worsen.
- He sometimes gets angry when he’s alone. (It’s a Mankey thing. Don’t question it.)
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Elijah is a confident, but unfortunately short-tempered fellow. He tries his best to keep that under control, and will either walk away before becoming infuriated or simply hide it behind his playfulness. He likes to be playful and tease others, especially people who are shorter than him. He finds tiny people to be cute. He tries to be nice and friendly to everyone he meets, and is very honest, maybe even slightly blunt sometimes. He’s not the brightest and tends to be a bit dense, as well as a bit stubborn when it comes to letting things go. Even after he says he’s let it go, he can still be vengeful and plot things in his head. He is protective of the people he cares about and sometimes he may be a bit too protective, which he tries his best to not do (but pretty much fails all the time).

H I S T O R Y
- Elijah was born the second child of Gabriel and Patricia Young, though like his older and already dead sibling, he was very sickly. Unlike his sibling (who died under a year after birth) he managed to live until he was five until his sickness became too much for him to handle. He was pretty much dying and miserable in agonizing pain. As a desperate measure, not wanting to lose another child, his parents began wondering if perhaps the transfusion process could help their son. They did all they could to have their son go through this process, but unfortunately they could not afford it through legal means and turned to the black market. In the end it worked… sort of. Elijah was no longer dying, but tended to get sick easily and his body took a while to recover.
- Some kids would pick on Eli for being different; he was often unable to participate in activities and was almost always seen taking some kind of medicine. His health was unstable for years, and during that time his personality changed to somewhat of a shy yet aggressive child, who went out of his way to avoid being around other beings. His parents sometimes worried for him and wondered if their decision was wrong and worried that they might have ended up hurting their son more than helping him. Whenever he noticed his parents worry over them however, he would make sure to reassure them that he was fine and that everything was going to be okay.
- He was around ten or eleven when his body finally managed to recover, and once that happened Eli began feeling more confident about himself and went out into the world with a new outlook on life. He managed to shake off his aggressive personality but the short-tempered part was something he couldn’t push away. He also was no longer shy and began to goof around and openly try to befriend people, which surprised many at first but eventually people did warm up to him, some even apologizing for all the things people had said in the past.
- Things went relatively normal for Eli from then on until he was fifteen when he decided he needed something different. Eli decided to become more of an independent person, and began to explore everywhere he could get to. Though he occasionally stops by home and will sleep there every once in a blue moon, he is pretty much a free spirit with no true home and a love for adventure. Despite all of the tension around him, he still managed to be friendly to everyone he met. He tried not to get into fights but is guilty of wounding a few people. And that’s how he’s been living from then up until now, just sort of wandering and trying to find a better purpose.t

★ RP SAMPLE:
Elijah sat on the sidewalk, legs crossed, drumming a beat on his legs. People were very strange. He’d known that for a long time, but it still amazed him how different and strange everyone could be. Some people once he spoke to them, he couldn’t get them to shut up. But only a few moments before he had tried talking to some people here and they’d all ignored him and kept on walking. He wondered what reason they had for ignoring him. Was he too different? Did they think he was some random homeless guy? Oh, well technically he was homeless… but not the dirty kind of homeless. Just the drifter kind of homeless. Maybe they just didn’t like to be around people, like when he was younger and tried to avoid others. He was so lost in his own rambling thoughts that he didn’t notice someone telling him to stop making all that noise.
That is, until that person kicked a piece of trash into Elijah’s face. Taken by surprise, Elijah took a moment to regain himself before blinking up at the culprit. A bit dumbfounded, he didn’t quite know what to say, but hoped this person had a good reason for what they’d just done. “I’m sorry, sir, can I help you?” but the person just gave Elijah the cold shoulder and began to walk away. Elijah growled at the person as he walked off, but bit it back and began to drum on his legs once more. Not too long after, someone sat down next to him and listened intently. “Catchy.” He heard them say before he chuckled to himself. Yes, people were quite different. And perhaps that’s what made the world such an interesting place… if only people got along better. If people could accept differences then the world would be perfectly perfect… perhaps.
“Thank you.” Elijah replied and the person just nodded before getting up to cross the road. Sitting on the sidewalk was always an interesting experience… you never quite knew who you’d meet. It was just about one of the most interesting things a person could do, even though many people didn’t seem to understand it. Nobody he knew could quite see the wonderful life he led the way he saw it. They just saw him as an idiot who decided to be homeless… but, hey, to each his own. Yes… to each his own. He liked that saying. Everyone had their own preferences, after all. It was very true, and a nice way of putting it… To each his own.
