He barely knew his pokemon's types let alone the attacks they would possibly know. Untill now he had just let his little companions take the lead and fight for themselves (which so far hasn't really established him any victories). They weren't the strongest pokemon ever, even his beloved Vahni seemed to go down easily when it came to battle. What chance did his newly hatched babies have in a fight? So, he figured, he might aswell go out with Vahni and his little ones, and see if he could learn how to be a 'trainer' and maybe help the pokemon learn how to battle properly aswell.
Plus, perhaps if his pokemon were stronger, Raven would let him go places on his own! (He had snuck out in order to get here, of course)
Sighing softly he moved through the desolate place, glancing around. It didn't seem like a place where he could meet some pokemon to train his own, but then again what did Illorie really know. He continued to walk with Vahni at his side on the look out for danger with those large black eyes of his. His own personal bodyguard never did take a break did he? Smiling softly Illorie continued to walk, carefully holding his little silver eevee in his arms as if he were too scared to lose the little thing in this place. Tackle || Sand-Attack || move 3 || move 4 || and so onFlying between the trees as it looked for possible prey to feed itself. The wasteland wasn't exactly the best place for that, however, and it seemed that ti wouldn't be able to find anything soon. With its attention looking for prey, it failed to notice the nearby human that was there. Hopping around to examine the ground a bit around it. Seeing if there might be something it couldn't spot from the air.

Nervous at how he'd fare during a battle all on his own. The only time he had ever fought was either with his strange mind techniques, or as practice with either Raven or Richard. Sighing softly he glanced down at Sunil who was staring curiously around them. Those bright, searching brown eyes of the silver eevee lifted to meet Illorie's, a smile crossing his little muzzle before looking back down to look at Vahni. The little vulpix was still sniffing around, trying to see what was in this desolate place.
Suddenly the little vulpix froze, it's black eyes wide. Something was shuffling, the sounds of leaves. His ears twisted slightly to zero in on the sound. A pokemon? A threat? The rustling had stopped, but the threat still seemed to be there. Glancing around he spotted the culprit, a little hobbling bird. Baring his teeth, Vahni bolted towards it. Sunil, seeing his mentor run away, he began to squirm in Illorie's arms. "H-hey!" Illorie squeaked before Sunil leapt from his arms and bounded after the vulpix with excitement in it's little brown eyes. Was this a game?! A lesson?! Making a sound that almost sounded like a bark the eevee slowed to a stop to stand beside his vulpix friend. The two stared at the flying type, not two feet before it, Sunil staring with excitment while Vahni stared with threat, as if to show the bird that if he made a single move towards his human, he'd be barbequed. Tackle || Sand-Attack || move 3 || move 4 || and so onThe Pidgey became startled by the sudden appearance of two pokemon from behind. On instinct, it flapped its wings and kicked up a sand-attack towards the two pokemon. The fact that they had spooked it caused the Pidgey to flail wildly about as well. It was a timid thing, sudden surprises would send it into a little freaked out frenzy for a few moments.
When it did calm down, it looked towards the things that had snuck up on it and saw the two canine-like creatures. Giving a little chirp of a squeak, as it knew they wouldn't take kindly to that blast of sand.

Vacuum Wave || Quick Attack || Leer || Focus Energy || --The Scyther had been watching from a distance, observing the human and its pokemon. When the Pidgey had landed, it frowned slightly, seeing the vulpix and the eevee go rushing towards it. That was something that the Scyther could not abide by, unfair odds.
Rushing to join the pidgey, it let out a "Scyther!" of a challenge, towards the two of them. It hated uneven odds, and unfair play, it would not allow it. He would join forces with the pidgey for this battle.

He guessed it was because they were in a new place, and Raven was nowhere to be found to protect Illorie. So any threat had to be neutralized, yet Sunil couldn't help but tilt his head and smile brightly at the little bird. All he wanted was to play! Was that so wrong? Yes, it seemed it was as the bird kicked up sand into his eyes. A yelp erupted from the eevee as he staggered back, rubbing at his eyes with his paw and whimpering, his eyes watering at the horrible sand in his eyes. "Eeeeeee eevee." He whimpered, turning watery brown eyes to the bird. What did you do that for? He didn't want to attack the bird! Vahni was just being protective.
Gritting his teeth Vahni turned his head away just in time to keep most of the sand from his eyes. Yet it burned as it got into his fur! It was horrible, so horrible. Shaking his fur he stepped back and rubbed at his eyes, giving just enough room for the random scyther to get into this 'fight' of theirs. Growling he turned his large black eyes towards the more dangerous opponent, glaring dangers at him. This bug could really harm Illorie! "Vuuulpix." He growled, his body heat heating up in preperation for his attack. He wasn't happy, and he certainly wasn't going to hold back. This scyther was a problem, and he was going to deal with it. Growling he unleashed an Overheat towards the Scyther, smirking. Tackle || Sand-Attack || move 3 || move 4 || and so onThe bird pokemon felt bad about the fight that was probably too far gone to stop now. Though he looked at the Eevee and flapped his wings. "P-pid, Pidge, pidgey!"(w-what're you doin' sneaking up on with that mean face?)despite that it seemed to attack first. It was easy to tell it was a jittery little creature.
The pidgey looked between the Scyther and the Vulpix, taking to the air to get out of the way of that overheat attack. Just being nearby was unbearable to the little bird, it didn't like fighting and tried to avoid pain as much as possible.

Vacuum Wave || Quick Attack || Leer || Focus Energy || --It seemed that this vulpix was only confident in its ability to spew flames. A Scyther that lived in the wasteland and didn't adapt tactics to fire-types was worthless. The overheat came at him, and his body was a blur, as he used his quick attack to avoid the flames. "Scy," it mocked towards the vulpix, it would have to do much better against him.
His eyes narrowing and glowing with the effect of his Leer attack, as he attempted to lower his opponent's defenses.

Eeeveee... Don't go! He said as he circled on the ground and lifted to his hind legs, trying to reach the Pidgey even though he knew he couldn't fly. Ee...Eevee Eevee ee I just wanted to play, I'm sorry. He whimpered and reached a paw up to the sky before he fell onto all four paws again. He really didn't mean to frighten the bird. Vahni was just...protective.
Vahni growled slightly as the scyther managed to dodge his best attack. Ever since he had learned Overheat he had become rather...cocky with his attacks, thinking he'd always win. And now this bug managed to dodge his best attack! He glanced back at Illorie with his fearful face and then he looked back at the scyther infront of him. Those eyes were scary, but Vahni knew he could be scarier. Using Roar he hoped he scare the bug away and he would be able to keep his pride somehow. Tackle || Sand-Attack || move 3 || move 4 || and so onWith the roar being shouted, the pidgey was caught by the effects as well. Add on to its already timid nature and it was flying away before the vulpix was finished roaring at it. Leaving the others behind without a second thought.

There was nothing it could do, as it turned and left the area, its job was done anyways. The Pidgey was no where around either, and that meant he didn't need to stick around in the first place.

Going against its better instincts, it moved closer to the source of where the sound had come. Tilting its head at the sight of the pokemon, they were odd ones for sure, at least to the rock type. "Roggenrola?" it curiously question what was going on, looking back to the human as well.
