Only slight movement was detectable at the quiet building, if not merely just a shadow at all, when Shin'ichi sneaked around the side of the building, under the cover of night. Night was always the best time of day to get the best results, especially if you were a dark Pokemon Gijinka. The man moved with fluid motion and ninja-like grace, his long sleeves muffling the sound of his hands brushing up against the building's wall. There were guards patrolling the area even at night, but it wasn't much of an obstacle to him. Leaping over that pitiful chain link fence with his Mightyena strength was easier done than said, and now getting past the guards would be a piece of cake.
Just the name of this place, Electric Plant, should immediately tell anyone that you could find electric Pokemon here, and rumors went on to say rare Pokemon could be found here as well! Although he wasn't as interested in the electric Pokemon as much as he simply wanted to break in just to say he did and to break yet another law, he decided that although his own power was plenty for him to do anything he wanted, it'd be cool to have Pokemon following his orders and executing his will for him. He also was looking forward to the adventure. "Well, I sure hope these Pokemon are strong!" He whispered excitedly.
He made his way quickly around the building to a place concealed by the shadows, where he had the guards in his view. Now, what tactic should he use? Be sneaky so the guards never notice him, or knock them out on the spot? He could easily be all cool and do the latter, just like a ninja, but his Mightyena genes urged him to step out into the open and announce his great arrival. He liked this strategy better. Stepping out into the light with an arrogant Swagger, he stood before the surprised guards with a smug smile on his face. "Good evening; I am Shin'ichi Kurosaka and I'm coming in! Stop me if you dare!" He proclaimed to the guards who were now rushing at him yelling "Stop that guy!" and "He looks suspicious!" and "Is he one of those Team Rocket grunts or something?" . "Hmph. You guys sure don't like to listen, now do you? Sucker Punch!! Hah!!" Although the guards were trained to apprehend criminals, Shin'ichi was faster. Diving right past the defenses of the first two guards coming at him, he launched a quick punch at their gut with both his hands. The guards behind the first two hardly saw Shin'ichi move at all, only the guards before them crumpling to the ground. The two remaining guards now kept a cautious distance from Shin'ichi, knowing that he had some sort of power. "Wait, that guy must be a Gijinka!" One of the guards realized. "Correct! Now go to sleep..." Shin'ichi chuckled as he launched his whole body at the guards in a brutal Tackle.
He took the guard's unconscious bodies and piled them together beside the building entrance, then walked boldly in.

WILD VOLTORB APPEARED! [/style] Voltorb || genderless || Soundproof || Electric || level 8 Tackle || Charge || Sonic Boom If it had ears it might have complained about the noise, yet it didn't. It was more the energy, the movements of the air that caused the little ball pokemon to perk up from its spot in the long grass by the wall. Something was battling, yet it seemed rather short lived as the movements in the air quickly died down. Curious, the little red ball bounced along the grass, searching for the cause of the movement. Unlike most of it's realitives (or whatever they were considered) this little voltorb was a curious one (Albeit easily agitated). Shuffling along the grass with momentum it gained with its hopping, he shuffled back into the plant after the vibrations that it could only call steps.
Quickly shuffling towards some bits of rusty and broken metal, it peered out at the human with narrowed eyes. "Torb. Voltorb." It murmured to itself, before quickly shuffling across the floor to another bit of broken metal, hiding behind it before peering out at the human. It couldn't hear a thing, but it could feel the energy, and this human's energy seemed rather dark. Collecting energy about itself in a Charge it gathered its strength about itself and boldly shuffled from it's bit of scrap metal to shuffle at the human, in hopes to understand what this energy was.

The first sign was the sound of something moving...sliding was a better word...through the grass, and Shin'ichi reacted quickly, turning his full attention in the direction of the source of the silent noise in eager anticipation. If he had Mightyena ears, they'd certainly be perked to show his excitement, for he did love adventure, and the best way to get excitement was to break all the laws, get everyone trying to catch you, then escape like a boss. "Heheh. I know you're there. Come out!" He called boldly into the shadows, but the pokeball-like pokemon was already scooting itself out. "Finally decided to show yourself, huh?" He laughed.
He recognized the power amassing around the Voltorb when it started charging itself up, and smiled. "So you were thinking the same thing as I was, huh? Well, then, let us not delay an exciting battle!" With that being said, Shin'ichi didn't hesitate to charge at the Voltorb, almost in a reckless manner, battle crying, "Assurance!", before sending a power infused palm thrust at the ball pokemon, having to bend over and aim his attack at the ground.

WILD VOLTORB APPEARED! [/style] Voltorb || genderless || Soundproof || Electric || level 8 Tackle || Charge || Sonic Boom The little thing had no ears, no ability to hear anything this person was saying but when it felt the echoing footsteps stop, it too stopped. With slightly narrowed eyes the pokeball pokemon looked up at the human as his mouth moved to speak, but no sound could be heard. Damn this body that had no ears! Instead he merely watched that mouth moved and used Charge again. It was that look on the human's face, that change of energy that first alerted the voltorb of the attack, and he couldn't help but get angrier and angrier at the sight. Shaking, now, with anger he moved to shuffle forward, to show this human what he was made of. If he had ears, he might have known it was futile. The human had other things in mind. As he shuffled and rolled forward he barely noticed the charge (too busy moving to recognize the vibrations) and the last thing he felt was the smash. So much power! It took everything out of the little ball pokemon, everything, and so he blacked out, eyes closed.
WILD VOLTORB HAS FAINTED! IT IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR CAPTURE!
WILD MANKEY APPEARED! [/style] Mankey || female || Vital Spirit || Fighting || level 9 Covet || Scratch || Low Kick || Leer || Focus Energy || Fury SwipesWhile the voltorb couldn't hear, someone certainly could. All the ruckus below was far too noisy, and the way the human treated the small little ball only made her angry. Feet and hands holding onto the bits of broken metal along the roof. The little monkey pokemon stared down at the scene below, watching the first and final blow of the human thing. Oh that poor pokemon! Didn't stand a chance. And this human had just...bulldozed right through it! Her body began to shake as she glared down at the human, her red eyes narrowed. Huffing through her nose she glared down at the human. "MAAAANKEY!" She screeched but still clung to the wall, glaring down at the human. If it didn't leave she'd have to do something, for sure.

So Voltorbs are hard like the pokeball after all, Shin'ichi discovered, rubbing his bruised palm. But the brutal attack had finished off the ball pokemon in one hit, so his thirst for battle with the Voltorb was satisfied. Now the vulnerable pokemon was an easy target for capture. This would be the first pokemon he had ever captured since his decision to train pokemon as well as fight his own battles. He reached in to the pouch hanging on his belt and pulled out an unused pokeball. Even after many years of just sitting in the corner of his bag, the pokeballs still worked, so he walked right up and tapped the pokeball pokemon with the pokeball, and set it down on the ground while it rolled around. Sure, most trainers liked to throw the pokeball at the pokemon, but wasn't it just plain mean to hit the pokeball with such a hard object after they had been totally bested in combat? If the battle ended with the pokemon fainting, he always preferred the respectful method of tapping the pokemon gently with the pokeball. Just then something screeched loudly, and Shin'ichi whirled around with good reflexes. A fighting type, huh? Fighting types weren't his strong suit, he knew, but there was no way he could turn down a challenge. "So, you wanna fight me?" he replied, smiling. "Bring it on! I dare you!" He shouted right back at the Mankey, taking a defensive stance.
ooc || dunno/forgot if the chances for capture are to be decided by the mod or not, so ya know...^^;

WILD VOLTORB HAS BEEN CAUGHT
WILD MANKEY APPEARED! [/style] Mankey || female || Vital Spirit || Fighting || level 9 Covet || Scratch || Low Kick || Leer || Focus Energy || Fury Swipes The monkey may be angry, but she certainly wasn't dumb. She had seen the way the human had practically pounded the little pokeball pokemon into the ground. She was not just about to lung into battle, knowing she'd disappear into one of those pokeball contraptions the way the voltorb had. It was too late to save that pokemon anyways. So she glared and held onto the wall, using Focus Energy to collect her strength and figuring out whether she should leap down there and go into battle with the human. But as he spoke, she made her decision. Snorting she swung herself along the rusted metal, clinging on tightly as she swung to move, to get away. The little monkey pokemon may be angry, but she was not stupid in any way.
WILD MANKEY IS TRYING TO FLEE. GIVE CHASE?

Shin'ichi prepared to defend himself against an attack, but huffed in annoyance when the Mankey used Focus Energy again. "Trying to finish it all in one hit? As if that will be enough to defeat me!" He Howled. Quit taking your time and show some guts! Shin'ichi thought in slight irritation, waiting impatiently for the wild Mankey to make its next move. Well, with all his hollering, he might have intimidated it, but seriously, it shouldn't be allowed, to flee from battle just 'cause you're scared to lose! "Why you!!" Shin'ichi growled. "Think you can escape now that you've taunted ME!?" Shin'ichi promptly gave chase, leaping up onto to the roof after the Mankey. It was fast for a creature meant to swing through the trees, not run, like he was built for. Along the rooftops, he was a match for the Mankey swinging from the walls in speed, and he wasn't about to let this one go. It was a pride issue. Did anyone really expect him to let a little insult from a pokemon go? Hopefully not. But at least he had the battle strength to back up his words most of the time.
ooc || Don't worry ^^
