It was only the first of many obstacles to get into the electric plant, but he had little doubt he could get in somewhere. He didn’t really have any good reason to be mucking around in here, more or less to just kill time. Besides if Team Rocket ever needed to know where to strike to cripple the city this would be it and they’d need people able to get in and destroy generators or something. Kyo would be there man. The gijinka warily eyed the compound before him. Guards and workers were moving about and if he made a wrong move and stepped out of the shadows, he’d be seen in an instant. Stealth was his strong point but, not everyone’s luck lasted for long. A stupid mistake tended to snowball so he’d better be vigilant. He kept one hand on the knife at his belt and moved toward the building. He had his eye on a tiny window in the back corner. It was probably a room that was either used often or a store room, from its placement. Getting past the guards was a game of patience, but once one was two hundred feet to his right and the next wasn’t around the corner yet, Kyo made his move. Deftly he used his blade to crack the window open and looked inside. The lights were off, but it didn’t look like a store room. Ah well he wasn’t going to turn around and run or anything. It was important to stay on task and see it through once you started an operation. Sucking in his stomach, Kyo did a half jump half wiggle to get inside. After shutting the window softly just as a guard came by, he surveyed the room. No one was in it which was good. The door wasn’t as much of a challenge as he’d thought it’d be. No one was on the other side and the hallway was quiet. This was almost too easy. Kyo narrowed his eyes and listened carefully for any movement. The clicking of heels on the floor had him ducking into a side room and watching for whomever was walking by. For once he didn’t even check the room before he’d ducked inside. Anything could’ve been in there… [/style] |
