Quiet and hunched over, he could have sworn the other party was injured in some way. He’d tried searching for him - he at least knew the gender - but there’d been business to attend to.
Now that it was cleared up, he was back, sleeves pushed up, ready and willing to search for whoever it was he’d spotted earlier. The Jungle was never a pleasant place to be, but he’d called it part of his home for ages, and since that’s where the figure had run off to earlier, it was as good of a place to start as any.
Not that his chances of finding said stranger were great. The Jungle was large and mean and there was no telling whether the other individual was even alive anymore. But he had a feeling that the gijinka - that was another thing he’d deduced during their brief and distanced encounter - was too smart to let anything happen to it. So, holding onto that little feeling, Masamune wandered into the depths of The Jungle.
Row after row of low hanging wire were gingerly brushed aside as he ducked and wove his way through one alleyway after another. He peered down streets, through open doors, even stopped to search around garbage receptacles. Nothing so far, but that didn’t discourage him. If anything, it only solidified his need to find this mystery gijinka and see to it that the man was safe and unharmed.
It was good and all that he was paying such close attention to the obvious places, but he wasn’t watching where he was going while moving forward or even turning the corner. That’s when he ran into a figure, about his own size but thinner, and without having to look he knew he’d found the gijinka he was searching for.

He rested his chin on his forearms and watched the Jungle move around him. His ears were attuned for any close movements. Trowa was curled up against his side and Ty was less than a foot away, practicing his power moves. The gijinka felt safe around the pair, he knew they’d alert him to any danger. Long silver locks fell over his shoulder as he stared off to the side with a smile. It was nice sitting alone, where there was no noise from the rest of the city or people leering at him from street corners. A shudder ran up his spine as he quickly shoved those thoughts away. He wasn’t visiting those memories again… Ty… Tyro. Ty slowed his movements and opened his eyes. His voice woke Trowa who immediately got to his feet, fur fluffing as he growled. He may not even know where the threat was, but one thing was for sure. He’d drive it off with his teeth if he had to. Ty placed his hand on his trainers arm and tugged at it. “What is it?” Even as he was asking, Yasu was on his feet and warily spinning in a circle to watch the shadows around him. Why had he found this place peaceful again? Lilli! Lillipup! Trowa growled charging out in front of Yasu. A seemingly ghostly form appeared off to the side, dressed in light cloths with blonde hair. Yasu let out an indistinguishable squeaking noise and was already a half second from bolting. People suddenly appearing tended to trigger his flight response. Ty nudged his trainer’s leg to get him moving. If the man got out of here, the Tyrogue could stay behind and drive off the intruder. However Yasu had other plans. Bending down to scoop up his pokemon, he blindly threw a Sand Attack at the person before taking off into the streets. “Leave me alone!”Pokemon Party: [/style]

[style=font-size: 8px]made by KING of PRE & OTE[/style]

He squinted his eyes and took a hesitant step forward, then a second, hearing the clattering growing ever more distant the longer he stood there. When it finally seemed like the sand had settled, he took out a bottle of water and used it to wash his eyes out.
That shouldn’t have affected him the way that it had, but he’d been caught off guard. He looked around, caught a glimpse of the other gijinka’s coat and ran in that direction. By the time he reached the corner, the other was nowhere to be seen. ”Son of a bitch.” He pressed his fingers into his still sore eyes and rubbed until they stung.
”Jolti Jolti Joltik.” He opened an eye to glare at the Pokemon as it perched itself on his shoulder. Then, reaching out to pat his cheek, it shocked him. If he hadn’t been trying to curse out loud before, he certainly did then. ”Joltik.” If that was the creature’s way of telling him to get moving...
”You know, there’s a reason I haven’t named you yet.” It lifted a paw, and he held up a finger, ready to fling it from his shoulder if it even attempted to zap him a second time. They were still new to one another, and trying to feel each other out. So far, he was trying his best to be a good trainer, but the Joltik didn’t seem impressed. Why it even bothered with him then, he had no clue.
Still, if it was trying to get him moving again, it had a good point, and he picked up his feet and tried to use his senses to track the gijinka through the endless twists and turns of The Jungle. There were plenty of tracks on the ground, none of them familiar, and the scents were too numerous - and some of them unpleasant - to be of any use.
He was going to have to do this the old fashioned way then. But unlike last time, when he’d first noticed the other gijinka, he wasn’t going to stop and return later. He was going to continue to search until he found him.

He wasn’t sure how many blocks he’d gone, how many ally’s he’d passed or how many times he’d slid on the grimy street corners. All he knew was he was alone now. Well he assumed he was because he couldn’t hear much more than the heavy breathing in his ears. Trowa growled and wiggled out of his arms. The lillipup continued snarling and sniffing around Yasu, searching for the strangers sent or anyone else. Yasu kept his head bowed and shoulders hunched. The adrenaline was ebbing out of his system making way for the next and it made him feel jittery. Minutes shivers were gently wracking his frame as he lowered his head to rest against Ty. The fighting type sighed and softly patted his head. Ty… He felt his trainer over reacted to things most of the time, but he wasn’t going to leave the man or anything. He would just show him it was better to fight back than run. “I’m okay.” The wavering in Yasu’s voice said he was anything but; he put Ty down and glanced around at their surroundings. His heart started thumping again as he realized… “I have no idea where we are.” It was true; nothing looked similar around there at all. Even Trowa couldn’t seem to pick up a familiar sent. Yasu, lifted a hand to run through his hair and grip the long strands in an worried manner. He came in hot and bent forward, fingers clutching his knees, just to keep from getting sick. This was... where the heck was that guy? He was either very fast, very good at hiding, or both. Masamune had practically lived his entire life on these streets and even he was at a loss for where his mystery gijinka had gone off to.
He lifted his head to see he was in a familiar part of The Jungle. He could scour this area up and down and if the other was hiding anywhere, Masamune would surely find him. That’s if he was in this area though. The Joltik on his shoulder chirped and tugged on his ear, grabbing his attention for something unimportant. He swatted a hand in her direction, but that didn’t stop her. When he finally paid her attention, he saw that she was pointing a furry paw down one direction in particular.
”You think we should go there?” She chirped a happy Joltik! in response and he reached up to give her a scratch. So, they were going to get along for this search, where they? He could live with that. Standing, he brushed his hands flat over his pants and headed down the alleyway Joltik had indicated.
The smell was certainly... something he could do without, but she was insistent that there was something down this way. Or maybe she was just trying to be helpful. Regardless, he thought he might name her when this was all said and done - after all, she was earning the right.
But a thorough search of the alley brought up nothing, not even a hint that the other gijinka had passed through. Masamune tugged at his hair and started to wonder if he would even find the guy. And what if he didn’t? What would happen to him then? What if...
He stopped himself, took a deep breath, and flicked his finger over his temple. Too much thinking, not enough doing. He just had to keep up the search and then he’d come up with something eventually. He wasn’t going to stop until he did.

He leaned around the corner, making sure there wasn’t some shady character roaming around trying to take advantage of an innocent. Not that Yasu was exactly innocent, but he didn’t really fight back. Stepping out he cautiously made his way down the street. A rattata rooting through some discarded wrappers startled the gijinka and he jumped sideways into a street pole. Trowa was right there to chase the rat pokemon way with a few good barks. Ty took Yasu’s hand and tugged him further down the street. It wasn’t until about a block later that he heard the footsteps behind him. Fear trickled down his spine, but he refused to turn around and show it. Instead he continued on, squeezing Ty’s hand to tell him that he’d heard and understood. Trowa growled and kept close to Yasu’s feet. A shadowed corner was coming up and if Yasu had been a betting man, there would be a partner waiting for them to blunder into a trap. Good thing he was smarter than they were. Ten feet from the corner, the trio broke into a run. The long haired man leapt to the side and up onto the back of a bench and flipped over a pair of hands reaching from the shadows. Trowa ran underneath the persons legs while Ty used Feint to knock them to the side. The first man was still behind them as Yasu could hear his shoes hitting the pavement just out of tiem with his own. Breathing somewhat erratic he held out an arm for Trowa and once the pup was settled, he threw a Sand attack and leapt up to grab onto a trellis. Yasu dashed across the roof, Ty at his heels and jumped down into the street behind. Taking off again, the gijinka looked over his shoulder, to check for a pursuer. He didn’t see any but he ran full tilt into someone in front. They both went tumbling to the pavement with a crash, Yasu on top. Jerking back in surprise, he stared down into deep green eyes. It was the man from before, the one he’d been running from. What was he doing here and what did he want now? Jerking backward so he was sprawled across the from the man, Yasu held up one arm in defense. “What do you want?” The sound of pounding feet behind had him reading to roll onto his feet and dash away. Ty and Trowa stood on either side of him, wary. Ty however ved closer toward the man and the little electric type on his shoulder. Tyro, tyrogue…?
