★ MEMBER GROUP: Epispect
★ POKEMON: Liepard
★ STATUS legal
★ AGE: 18
★ HEIGHT: 5 ft 8 in
★ WEIGHT: 128 lb
★ FACE CLAIM: Sachi Aosato from Happy Factory
★ APPEARANCE:
Mei's a woman who would not be easily ignored on the streets. Her features are delicate and small. She has a slim and elegant frame, and looks as if she might break if handled roughly. Her eyes are a strange maroon color that flash when she becomes angry or suspicious. Her face usually is expressionless, and is always a mask of calm. If anything were to be given away about how she was feeling, it'd be through her eyes. Her twin rubies give away most of what she thinks, no matter how hard she tries to hide it. Hair that shines in different shades of purple cascades down Mei's back, usually tied up to get it out of her way. Her bangs are usually parted to the left side of her face, with some strands spreading out to the right.

- Mei is like an owl. She likes to stay up extremely late, without even becoming tired the next day.
- Mei doesn't easily trust anyone, so she doesn't give second thoughts to lying or tricking others. Deception is a strong point of hers anyways.
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
A silent shadow isn’t far off in description to how Mei usually is in society. She’s a loner, so she does not interact with people most of the time. Also, it doesn’t help that she is generally untrusting of those she first meets, or her vain nature. The first image people have of her is a stuck-up, boring girl, until they see past that outer layer of hers to find a person who is reliable and extremely loyal to those who have gained her trust and respect. Mei’s extremely observant, and she notices things that others may miss. Her patience level is very short for those she thinks are idiotic, and she doesn’t give a second thought as to giving those kinds of people a piece of her mind. Her bluntness makes her comments even more biting, and she doesn’t truly care about how they react. She’s quite vain, so her thoughts are usually surrounded around how she’s better than most others. She is extremely loyal to those she has learned to like, so her undying reliability makes her someone people can always lean on. So when a friend is burned by others, her rage is great, and she doesn’t forget what happens to her allies. She holds onto it for a long time. She’s not one to mess with when it comes to her friends, and she is perfectly capable to take care of herself, so she’s not concerned about what happens to her.

H I S T O R Y
- Born as the only child of her family, Mei was always expected to live up to the reputation of her father and mother, both renowned musicians, so she was taught to be able to play the violin and piano, despite the fact she really just wanted to be a simple writer. Her parents never found out about that dream when she was young, and Mei never actually volunteered the information, simply because she wanted to ignore her dream and make her parents happy.
- Mei's dream was given away when she became an adolescent, and her parents were crushed to learn that she did not want to follow in their footsteps. They, however, did allow her to go to a boarding school that focused on developing writing skills.
- During her time in school, she learned that her parents had developed the virus that had caused such a panic throughout the world. Cutting school short, she went back home to see them. From taking care of both of them, Mei contracted the virus herself, and fell ill. It seemed that her whole family would die, until they heard of the cure through morphing Pokemon DNA with a human's. Her family was wealthy enough to only afford a transfusion of the DNA for one person. Despite Mei's protests, she was the one who was given the cure; her father and mother gave reason after reason as to why their daughter would be given the treatment until she broke down.
- After going through the process, she hoped to return home to her parents, but learned they had died while she was in the care of Epispect. That was when she learned of her new "gifts", since she somehow destroyed her old room in grief and fury, leaving behind only gashes usually created by claws.
- Since she was only fifteen by that time, she moved in with her aunt, who also had been able to afford a transfusion, though at the expense of her uncle. Mei never knew him or her personally, so there was little her aunt could do to comfort Mei when she was going through a period of grief. Mei's aunt also didn't try to comfort her niece since she was going through grief over her husband's death.
- When both Mei and her aunt had gotten over their periods of grievance, their life in the home was almost normal, except for those every so often spurts of Pokemon powers that were not under control at first. As Mei discovered more about them, she learned to wield them and have them under her full control. However, she didn't want to follow her dream of being a writer anymore, since the death of her parents.
- When Mei became seventeen, she became aware of the illegal transfusions that were given to people by taking the blood from those who already took the legal transfusion. Angry that people who didn't want to get the transfusion legally, Mei decided to work with Epispect, since she didn't want to stand by and see people who would kill for a chance to become a Gijinka. It wasn't right, since she had to go through all that misery from losing her parents for her Pokemon DNA, and now others were using that for their own greed. She works as a spy for Epispect while also going to college.

★ RP SAMPLE:
Ugh, how'd I get stuck with this?
Crowded cities, busy sidewalks, that was never her liking, and it wasn't going to be anytime soon. Mei's long strides as she walked to school didn't stop in their insistent rhythm as she rushed to school. How had she slept in? Maybe it was that assignment she had to finish up last night, or because she was such a night owl, or it might even be the fact that she never liked mornings. Whatever the case, she just had to wake up late that day; what rotten luck. She didn't even have time to get breakfast that morning, and she was stuck sipping coffee from those Styrofoam cups. Mei hated coffee.
Her mood was dark as she walked along the streets, and people seemed to be able to sense that, sidestepping out of her path with nervous looks on her face. Her bag holding her college stuff swung as she rushed to college; it was a good thing that her college wasn't far from her apartment. Suddenly, her maroon eyes picked out activity going on in the dark corner of a nearby ally. Slowing down, she pretended to read the signs on a store she was in front of as her eyes tried to see what was going on. There were...two men....talking. Usually nothing suspicious, but there was something off. Urgent movements from one, and what seemed like an assurance from another. As Mei continued watching, her ruby eyes narrowed, seeing that there was some kind of exchange between the two. Money? Was it some sort of deal from the Black Market? Mei was already late, so some more hours wouldn't hurt. The first class was only gym, and that wasn't a major class. Her loyalties were to Epispect anyways. Seeing the two men disappear into the shadows of the ally across the street, Mei turned around to stare at the place. Checking the street for any incoming cars, she quickly crossed the asphalt road, reaching the ally where she had seen the two men. Walking into the shadows, reminding herself to stay on the alert, she gave a small grin, oh the joy of the hunt.
