LET THE WHOLE THING BLOW
B A S I C I N F O
★ NAME: Rachel North
★ NICKNAME: Rae, Rae Rae, Fire-Tongue
★ MEMBER GROUP: Gijinka
★ POKEMON: Ninetales
★ STATUS Legal
★ AGE: 19
★ HEIGHT: 5'5''
★ WEIGHT: 136.2 lbs
★ FACE CLAIM: Emmeryn from Fire Emblem
★ APPEARANCE:
Light blond hair is long, falling past her shoulders while her eyes are a piercing stormy grey eyes that seem to have enough intensity to stare through your soul. Rachel's kind of small, and won't grow much more than how she is now, and she's also kind of pale. She's right handed at nearly everything she does, as her entire left side is weaker than her left. As an example, she can move her fingers in her right hand to touch her thumb and pinkie together. In her left hand however, she can only just barely do just that. Her left eye, despite the weakness in that entire side, is her dominant eye and is slightly bigger than her right. She can also close her right eye, leaving the left squinted but still open, yet is unable to close her left eye alone at all.
She normally wears colors ranging from cream, brown and other light colors such as reds, orange and white, to darker colors like black, grey and dark blue. Her socks and shoes are normally white with her shoes, tennis/running shoes, being white based with stripes of green on them. It's often hard for hr to find clothes for her that fit right because while she's skinny, her shoulders are slightly different in height, as she has a tiny case of scoliosis. Her body, to her at least, seems to be a bit out of proportion, which is the main cause of finding clothes hard. The main problem being shirts that don't fall off her shoulders and pants that aren't, well, anything and everything that could possibly be wrong with them.
She also frequently has her long hair braided loosely into two large braids that fall on either side of her head. The braids are loose enough to where she won't lose much hair if she were to undo them. And she also often has her bangs parted on either side to tie into the braids that is the majority of her hair, if not all of it. She rarely ever cuts it now, or at least for the past two years, which could be the reason why it's gotten to be so long.

★ HABITS, QUIRKS:
- Has a likeness for fire, often sleeping close to one or will make one if there isn't one
- Finds herself staring at her reflection whenever there's a reflective surface, usually only for a few seconds before she snaps out of it
- Has an...attraction to all things adorable, cute and fluffy. I swear it has to be a gravitational pull or something.
- She's right handed in practically everything she does, her left hand mainly only being used for support, having barely ever used it her entire life.
- She doesn't curse/swear, ever. Never has since she was two or three and didn't know any better.
- Because of her being a ninetales gijinka, Rachel has this illusion ability, nothing big or complex like an entire room, but more like a pokemon or two. Usually she'll do this to make illusions of a ninetales or a couple of vulpix to travel with her, or occasionally a member of her family (her brother mostly) to make it feel as if he's there.
★ OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Okay first off, Rachel is a Ninetales gijinka. This means she as fire type. You do not want to set her off, as she has the stereotypical fiery temper, but also a short fuse to go along with it. And once it is set off it's hard to get her to calm down again, or rather stay calm once she is. Another thing about her is that she's stubborn. Very stubborn, and impatient. Now a very good mix. There are some cases where she will be willing to wait for something, but that's not a likely scenario. Her stubborn will could also be connected to her courageousness. A courage that's strong enough to not only be considered something positive, but also a negative thing. I once read somewhere that courageousness is a contradiction. Its the willingness to live by taking the form of the readiness to die. If that's the case, then she has a fair amount of it.
Of course Rachel is also compassionate. She loves little kids and and the adorable, cute and fluffy Pokemon that she may sometimes wonder upon. And seeing as how she has an almost gravitational pull towards the fluffy creatures, its no wonder that she does. Her secretive and mysterious nature though, could possibly stem from the Pokemon she shares genes with. Ninetales are known for living a good thousand or so years. Over time you'd think that they'd have some secrets that they've discovered, or perhaps have that mysterious air around them, making you think they've seen too much.
Yet, Rachel isn't all foreboding. She does have the slyness of a trickster to, and will be loyal to anyone who earns her trust, even though its kind of hard to do so in the first place. Adding onto her slyness, she's creative. A bad combination if she decides to play a joke or prank on you. While she won't do this often, she won't hep you either if you find yourself stuck in the middle of one. Instead you'd see her off to the side watching the whole thing go down, laughing so hard she can barely breathe.
Then, finally, there's her skillfulness. Her ability to adapt to situations and conditions by using whatever is around her. She does not, however, resort to anything like stealing. to her it is morally wrong and, while she is a trickster at times, does not think that stealing falls into that sort of category. She is, mainly, someone who knows how to use what they have to their advantage, whether in survival or some kind of battle. Yet sometimes this trait is temporarily blocked by one of her other traits, be it stubbornness, loyalty or her quick temper.

H I S T O R Y
- Born premature by a good fifteen weeks. Had to undergo a series of life saving surgeries and blood tests or transfusions, leaving her left side generally weaker than her right, however this mostly her hand where its noticeable. Her left side, while weaker in movement and motor skills, isn't noticeably weaker unless you count the fact that she sometimes will say that her "left arm feels like dead weight" or her left foot will feel weird.
- Father dies when she's 4 years old due to sickness.
- Mother remarries to a rich man and has her younger brother, Erik. He's four years younger than her and despite the sibling rivalry they have going, Rachel loves her little brother to death, half brother or not. And she knows that he does to.
- At the age of five her family moved into a mansion at one end of the city, the mansion being one that wasn't too big or too fancy looking, being able to pass off as your "average four story home with a large pool". This wasn't usually a problem for Rachel, however her mother never really got used to it.
- For her sixteenth birthday present her step-father had her get the procedure to become a Gijinka, even though she didn't want to. Her mother protested on her behalf, saying that she should not have to if she did not want to. Yet he had only snapped back at his wife to shut up and stay out of his way. Rachel couldn't given him a black eye for that. And she did once the procedure is over.
- At seventeen, Rachel and her step father had a lot of arguments. Mainly over her gijinka status, but also over her younger brother, Erik. Her step father wants him to become one as well, but Rachel would never dream of her little brother being involved in this kind of life, legally or otherwise.
- At eighteen, due to an accident with one of her fire type moves, were caught in a fire in their home, severely injuring her half-brother's legs so much he can never walk again, leaving her step-father to kick her out against her mother and brothers wishes and her to feel guilty.
- Now at nineteen she's a wanderer, moving from one part of the city to another part, never really keeping to one place and always avoiding her home. It just brings back bad memories that she just wants buried.

★ RP SAMPLE:
Random RP Sample from another site that I RP on ::
Sadie Nicholas didn't know a lot about the world around her. The scientists, her masters, hadn't given her much knowledge of it. They has refused to. Now they couldn't tell her what things were. They couldn't because they were far away from wherever she was now. The moving-white-box that she had been in a year ago, the one that had crashed, was a long ways away. It has crashed into something that was tall, and green, with others that looked the same standing still and silent all around her and the moving thing which her masters had called a truck. She, however, preferred to call it the moving-white-box. It was in her terms that way, a way in which she could understand.
Now she was in some place that was very loud, sometimes even when the round-shiny-silver-open-eyes. A place that was tall and short and reached the sky, and other loud-fast-moving-boxes of different shapes and colors moved along a black-path. Sadie didn't understand any of it. None of it registered in her mind as normal. People walked around, though the number was less at dark-tiny-lights than at one-bright-light.
They also stared at her sometimes. She didn't like it. She didn't like the dark, or no-sound or no-warm. Sadie, in the past year, had found that she didn't like a lot of things. Things she found were the same here as they were back at the white-sharp-masters place.
"Shut up!" A sound from a person made the sixteen year old girl jolt from her internal monologue. How had this person gotten here? Had she been near their color-dark-place? She hoped not. Her caretaker-master had told her once when she was thirteen that she was a mutant, and that mutants weren't allowed to be in color-dark-places or have one of their own. Sadie had always done what her masters told her, but now they couldn't slap her if she didn't. It made her confused every time she thought of it, so she didn't.
Staying in the darker places, Sadie moved to remain out of the person's sight. The person was a male, taller than her and probably older to. He saw her, she knew he did yet all he had done was turn as if he didn't and continue walking. Now, Sadie was not at all bad. She didn't want to be. Yet she followed the male around, staying far enough away that he wouldn't notice her. What told her to follow him, she didn't know, but she always did what she was told. The girl frowned, her four to five year old mentality not helping her current situation.
She hadn't had food or water since that morning, even with enough rest to last her through the dark-tiny-lights. Her power, her mind speak, wouldn't work well right now. She knew this. Her energy was almost spent, energy that she hoped to regain soon, least she have to mind speak to someone. Her masters had called it telepathy, but again, she preferred her name for it. It was, after all, the only way she would ever speak to anyone. She had been mute since birth.
Sadie blinked, finding that the male had gone into a loud-nasty-smell-place. She'd waited till he came back out before following again, yet hadn't known until it was too late that she had gotten too close. Too close and now she didn't know what to do. The male said something which only barely registered with her mind. He was asking what she wanted. Sadie didn't know what she wanted, at least not from him. She wanted food and water right now, but no more than that.
Then he asked who she was. The sad part is that she didn't want to answer. If she did with her mind speak then he might get scared like this one female she had tried to speak to. The female had screamed and ran away, leaving Sadie to run in the opposite direction to find somewhere to hide. Nervous, the girl decided that it would be the only way for her to let this male know that she could not speak with a voice like everyone else.
"Sadie is Sadie." She tried to project, hoping he'd understand the message which would, in this case, sound like nothing more than a breathless whisper in his mind if he got it. A message that had no voice of its own so no one could tell who it belonged to, only that it was a girl's voice. Even then they might not be certain. Sadie projected with as little energy as she could, making sure to not move too much to conserve said energy. "Sadie need.... energy. Your name?" The message was broken, halting, but she thought it did its job at getting across. Even if it made the male confused a little. Now she had to hope that he didn't run screaming like that one female had.
