After being away for so long, Erik had been more then excited to be going back. The boy had been away from home for some time. Yet some might ask, is there really a home for someone like Erik, an illegal gijinka with not much to his name? Some tme ago, Erik wouldn't have been able to answer that easily. Now? He could say that wherever his companion was, thats where he felt at home, and being away from Lydian so long was clawing at Erik's insides.
But he had been in such a hurry that maybe, just maybe, Erik seemed... to have lost his way. Not to mention it was dark now, and horribly foggy. He could barely see five feet in front of him. Finally stopping when he was sure he's seen that tree at least five times before, the blue eyed boy paused and sighed, looking at his Houndour by his side. "What now Cerberus?" he asked his fierce little companion. If only he had Demi with him, Erik would've asked the brave Skarmory to go and scout ahead. But he had left Demi at home, and Atlanta was too young and too small to fly high enough beyond the Pallida Mor's towering trees.
"Well, lets continue? We can try?" he hopefully asked, despite his voice being tired and weary. Erik had, afterall been walking a good 6 hours or more by the time night fell. Pulling out three more pokeballs, the lights revealed twin Eevee's and a chittering Pachirisu. "Alright you guys, don't go too far away from me, but try and see if you guys can find a way out." he instructed, to which all of them yipped and darted forward, yet always conscience of keeping within Erik's sight. The boy himself ended up falling in step behind his searching Pokemon, hoping the way out would come soon.

WILD SNEASEL APPEARED! [/style] sneasel || female || keen eye || dark/ice || level 09 scratch || leer || taunt || quick attackAs night fell over the forest, some pokemon heading into their dens for a few hours of rest, others came out to lurk and wait for unsuspecting souls to wander into their territory. As one of the latter, the young dark-type made her way through the trees, her eyes darting left and right as she searched, her claws flexing, itching to slice something. As a mon who claimed territory, there was often competition for it... which meant lots of battling and experience on her end, and at times she even craved the clashing. Crawling up a fallen tree, using her claws to anchor her, she moved for a better view point, her eyes able to cut through the fog rather easily.
But this time, it wasn't movement that caught her attention... but a voice. A human, in her territory? That was unacceptable... but maybe, just maybe, they could provide her her nightly exercise if she couldn't turn them away. With a vicious smirk forming on her lips, she stuck to the shadow, her eyes falling to the houndour next to the boy and, without warning, she dropped down before them, claws raised in an offensive stance, hissing a warning. "Sneeeeeasel Snea!" 'Turn away now or you'll have hell to pay!'

He wasn't sure if it was the wind or because of the dark, but either way, Erik was starting to get chills up his neck, especially since more and more unidentified pokemon were beginning to make their presence known as the night slipped deeper. Not that Erikw as scared of Pokemon persay, since not only did he have his team but he was a gijinka as well. But the thing was, just how high levelled did the pokemon in Pallida Mors forest go? And what happens if he was confronted with one he and all of his team couldn't handle?
Quickly shaking the morbid thought out of his head, Erik bit down his determination, and was quite doggedly following Erebus and Nyx's footsteps, when Aphrodite suddenly started chittering loudly from a tree branch she was on.
"Aphro? What is i-" Erik was about to ask, when the sudden falling of a pokemon with claws scared Erik. He gave a startled shout, falling backwards as Cerberus immediately rushed to his head with ineccesent barking, snarling as he leapt and stood over Erik's form, whom had fell on the ground on his bottom, arms raised in an instinctive defensive stance. "Houndowwww!" Watch it incompetent fool. he warned with a snarl, hackles raised.

WILD SNEASEL APPEARED! [/style] sneasel || female || keen eye || dark/ice || level 09 scratch || leer || taunt || quick attackOf anything... the Sneasel had to say that she found herself rather amused. She'd come across trainers before... and they certainly had seemed to be a lot more competent than this one, not to mention organization. Falling back as that, ha! What a fool. If this boy's pokemon were anything like him, this would be a breeze! However... the Houndoom before her quickly got on her nerves. How dare he speak so frankly, did he not know where he was? "Snea Snea!" 'I beg your pardon, incompetent? I think not!' the corners of her lips turned down in an angered snarl, the feather and her ear laying back with rage, "Sneasel Sel Sel Snea!" "You're in my territory here... I suggest you watch your mouth pup!"
Anywhere else, she would have walked away, not wasting her time on such a quick mouthed creature... but this was her territory... and here, she wouldn't stand for such things, not at all! With a glint in her eye, she was quick to start things off with a leer, preparing for the battle she knew was to come. She wasn't about to back down...hell, she didn't want... she wanted fun. "Sneasel Snea snea?!" You gonna be a good pup and stand down...? Or do you wanna play?"

Lets just say Erik wasn't exactly the best battler around. Oh, in a pinch he could definitely hold his own, but when it came down to it, Cerberus was probably a way better battler on his own then with Erik. Not that the Houndour didn't want to follow instructions, but he sometimes overrode them when Erik went mute from shock.
Which was what was happening now.
The dark dog stood, hackles raised and snarling at the taunting from the Sneasel. "Hounnnnrrrr houndourrr."We weren't even doing anything, so leave out." he snarled. Cerberus woudl've left it all well alone and went on their way if the Sneasel hadn't shot a leer attack at him, and if anything, Erik's little fire-popper Houndour would not leave a battle backing down.
By then, his Pachirisu was perched on top of a tree watching, and the twin Eevee's stood a good distance away, recognizing when Cerberus could stand on his own. They would help if need be, but Cerberus would be fine - as always. "Playtime is always welcomed." he snarled, almost grinning before launching almost immediately in to a thunder fang attack, teeth crackling as he leapt at the sneasel.
