Noah sighed as he stared up at the little pub nestled in its home between some bigger buildings. Le Perturbé... one of his old haunts. He had spent many a night nursing some drinks in a corner, climbing onto someone's lap and smiling flirtatiously, even picking up more than a few willing partners for a night. And yet... and yet he didn't want all that anymore. He wanted to know what he was supposed to do with his life now. He wanted to... well... make something for himself. He knew he couldn't do anything with Epispect, not with his past history, and he was hesitant to believe in rumors of another group. Instead... he didn't know. He felt like he was just at the end of another party and all he could really do was peer through the smokey air and try to figure out what he had been doing for the past few hours. As if the compliment the feeling, his head gave a testy throb, and he winced slightly. He hadn't even fallen back into his old habits with the bottle and he was already hungover. The old Noah would have taken that as a sign and immediately gone into the pub and then proceeded to get himself so thoroughly drunk he would end up passing out at the bar, a fairly common occurrence in the day. But he had put those days behind him. It was a slippery slope he was trying to climb back up, but he was determined to keep getting to his feet as many times as it took until he was at the top again. The fingers of his right hand twitched towards his pocket and he scowled, pulling them away. Smoking was a nasty habit he needed to break. He didn't care for the nicotine or anything, it was merely habit that had him lighting up in times of trouble. He was quitting for his health though since it wasn't just him anymore. It was him and the six others on his team. Monument, Downdraft, Grudge, Cleopatra, Forlorn, Helena... none of them would be able to function without a Trainer, and Noah was theirs. He had to act responsibly, if not for his own health and safety, then for theirs. As matter of fact, Forlorn, his sweet-tempered Duskull that he had rescued from some cruel Trainers, was actually floating next to him, staring at the building with an interest. "What do you think, Forlorn?" he asked, his hands tucking into the back pockets of his leather pants in a rather casual manner. "Should we go in for a visit?" The little Ghost-type stared at him for a long moment before she nodded, giving a little smile to him. The Cofagrigus Gijinka chuckled softly, lips twitching upwards. "All right then, we'll go in. Who knows, we might meet someone interesting." Decision made, the blond male pushed open the door and stepped into the homey little pub, smiling softly. His old stomping ground... it didn't matter if he had sworn it off or not. He was glad to be back here again. Le Perturbé would always be his turf. OOC: Long post probably will not remain long, just a fair warning. Team- Monument ~ Cleopatra ~ Downdraft ~ Grudge ~ Forlorn ~ Helena

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center][CS=2] Do me a favor | Ah-hin didn't know what had brought her to the city's pub. She didn't drink, so it wasn't that. Frowning softly she had picked a stool at the bar, ordering a virgin strawberry daiquiri and ignored the bartender’s raised eyebrow at her choice. So she didn’t drink, he could suck it cause that wasn’t going to change anytime soon, at least that she could see. The pub was nice, homey even and she might have liked it if she drank. For the moment, she was appreciating the architecture and décor. The drink was good though, she had to admit. She was just glad that the bartender was honest enough not to have spiked her drink. Humming softly to herself she glanced around eyeing the clientele there. She wasn’t finding anyone interesting just then, though really she was just looking to look.
Let’s face it, she was bored.
Her sister was working and so was their childhood friend. Neither of them would be off until later so she was sort of stuck being bored. She’d already done some training with her pokemon so that was out and honestly she had nothing else to do. Besides she’d wanted to see what this place was like. She probably should have come back later though. It seemed to be a bit dead just then. She finished off her drink and contemplated getting another as a silver-haired man came in the door. She eyed him curiously blue eyes taking in his appearance. He was attractive, yes but she wasn’t really looking for a serious relationship yet. She was only sixteen anyway. She wasn’t in any hurry. She turned back to the bartender waving him over to order another daiquiri just as a brunette male approached her.
“Hey there. You look a little lonely, want some company? |
[/i]” he spoke grinning a bit. Ah-hin gave him a flat look, able to smell the liquor the man had consumed. “ No thank you.” she replied turning back to the bartender. Then the man grabbed her shoulder, trying to persuade her further but she jerked away from her glaring at him. “ I said no, idiot. Now please leave me alone.” she hissed her eyes narrowing. She didn’t want to reveal herself as a Gijinka but she didn’t think this man was going to leave her alone. She really hated alcohol sometimes.[/div][/td][td] TAG: Noah WORDS: 390 NOTES: ... Words;; 594 Tags;; Ah-hin Hentari Eggs;; No eggs here, what are you talking about? Layout by Kuroya Notes;; Don't be surprised Noah can be scary when he wants to be. Trust me, he can. His method for scaring people away from his boyfriend is to terrorize them, and it wouldn't surprise me if he abused his abilities to drive them insane. XD So he's getting his insane smile on there to protect her.
Noah grinned when he saw the place wasn't busy. He had never really been a huge fan of the place when it was crazy busy, but this... this was nice. The music was low enough that it was nothing more than a dull thrum beneath his feet, something that was easily ignorable for someone who wanted to push it aside but quite the influence for someone who wanted the chance to let loose. Forlorn crept closer to him, the little Duskull not really wanting to do anything to draw attention to herself, but he reached a hand out and stroked her head softly. "It's all right, Forlorn," he murmured gently, his sandy blond hair shifting and brushing his shoulders. "This is like home for me. Nothing's gonna happen to us here." The Duskull nodded quietly, reassured by her Trainer and followed him as he made his way over to a corner, hopping up onto a barstool and settling in there comfortably. The bartender caught his eye and moved to get his favorite, but Noah shook his head with a wry laugh, a little bit of hurt flickering in the very back of his eyes before it was gone, replaced with the easy-going twinkle that usually occupied his gaze. "Not here to drink today," he chuckled, a sheepish grin on his face as he rubbed the back of his head. "I actually blew in here for old times' sake."
"No Pokemon at the bar [/b]," the man stated firmly, reaching to clean out a glass with an old rag. Noah smiled charmingly. "Forlorn is quite well-behaved, sir. You won't even know she's here. I promise." The man nearly humphed, snorting and turning away, and Noah added a hasty "I'd like a lemonade please" just because he realized that he wanted something to sip at while he was here, even if it wasn't alcoholic. At the raised eyebrow he got, he rolled his lavender eyes, leaning a tanned elbow on the bar edge so that he could pillow his chin in a single hand as he stated "No, no alcohol." He pouted a little, reaching a hand up to play with Forlorn for a while when he blinked, his hand in midair as he heard the commotion going on at the other end of the bar. Ugh, he hated assholes like that. True, he'd been on that side of the spectrum, but there was a difference between him and someone like that. People like that were the type who were just looking for a lay. Noah was just looking for attention and love. Was it really so much to ask, just for a little bit of time to assure him that he wasn't just a waste of space? He got up off his chair and sauntered over, painting his darkest smirk on his face as he tapped the guy on the shoulder. "Excuse me, but I do believe that you're hitting on my girlfriend," he stated, a wide smile on his features, sinister in its implications. As expected, the coward was out the door in a matter of moments, leaving Noah to dissolve in a fit of laughter, his grin melting down to a healthy size as he flopped onto a chair, well aware that it had been Forlorn floating behind him that had also helped with his fear factor there. "I hate guys like that who think they have the right to screw anyone they set their eye on," he grumbled, rolling his expressive lavender eyes before he stuck his hand out to her. "Noah Kyo." [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center][cs=2] Don't wanna break your heart so let me give your heart a break | “Come on babe, don’t be shy.”
“I’m not shy now leave me alone.” the teen snapped blue eyes glaring at the brunette. He was getting on her nerves. The man had reached to grab her arm when Noah sauntered up and spoke. Then he was scurrying out the door like he had the Devil himself on his tail. Ah-hin snorted, flipping the man’s back off before turning to the silver-haired man as he dissolved into laughter. She noticed the Duskull floating behind him and had a feeling that was part of what had the man on his way so quickly. She grinned a bit, finding his laugh rather infectious. Then again it had been utterly hilarious the way the coward had booked it. She nodded as he spoke, shaking his offered hand as he gave her his name.
“Ah-hin, Ah-hin Hentari.” she replied and added, “I hate them too but I expect that’s what I get for thinking a bar is a good place to hang out.” she chuckled softly, giving a slight half shrug. She’d caught his scent, and while she knew he was a Gijinka she couldn’t place exactly what type. Not that she really cared though. He’d helped her so she’d give him the benefit of the doubt. She picked up her drink to take a sip when the pungent smell of alcohol reached her nose. She blinked surprised then blue eyes narrowed.
“That bastard spiked my drink! Ugh and I was enjoying that.” she set the drink down with a sigh shaking her head as she focused on calming down. Noah might be a Gijinka but that didn’t mean he knew she was one. It was such a waste of a perfectly good drink, too. She turned to Noah, determined to put the man and her ruined drink out of her mind for the moment while she had decent company. “This seems like it would be a nice place if you liked alcohol.” she commented as the bartender sat a new daiquiri down to replace the spiked one, saying it was on the house. She smiled and nodded at him, a bit surprised but hey she wasn’t going to turn it down. They were good drinks even without the alcohol.
“I stand corrected, this is a nice place even if you don’t drink.” she spoke chuckling a bit as she took a sip of her drink humming softly. Great she was addicted to these things already. | Tag: Noah Kyo~ Words: 410 Notes: ... yes Ah-hin he did try spiking your drink *shot* Pokeparty: Desert - level 15 Synge - level 11 Sage - level 7 Arrow - level 4 Daemon - level 2

Words;; 561 Tags;; Ah-hin Hentari Eggs;; No eggs here, what are you talking about? Layout by Kuroya Notes;; Noah, stop being an alcoholic. Stop it right now. Alcohol is bad. You need to learn moderation. :l *does not encourage his behavior in any way*
Noah liked that she took his hand. A lot of people wouldn't have after the stunt he just pulled, which had no doubt given the slightest of hints that he wasn't entirely human, but oh well, it couldn't be helped. His lips quirked up at the firm grip she had on his hands when they shook, and he pulled his hand back with an easy-going grin as he leaned forward, his palm cupping his chin again like it had in his other seat. His sandy blond hair shifted over his shoulders, but he ignored it, instead reaching up with his other hand to lightly tease Forlorn, the shy Duskull indulging him by trying to rub up against his hand in an affectionate manner like a Purrloin. "Ah-hin, that's a strange name for these parts," the Cofagrigus Gijinka mused, letting his hand meet the little Ghost-type and stroke her quietly. "And this place isn't that bad. I've spent many a night nursing a bottle in this place. It's like a second home for me." No need to tell her that more than half the time I was doing that in someone else's lap, nope, no need to scare her off. He frowned a little, a crease in his brow appearing as the little Cofagrigus that lived in his mind appeared before his mind, nudging him gently. Ugh, he knew what this was about. The damn thing would happen every time he was around another Gijinka. He got that it only happened to protect him, but really, all it served to do was emphasize to him that he was a freak and hadn't even asked for this.
As if sensing the turn his thoughts had taken, the Duskull let out a gentle hum and nudged his hand, prompting the lavender eyes to fall open again, and he let out a wry chuckle at the concern he saw shining in those expressive crimson orbs. "I'm fine, Forlorn," he murmured softly, patting her for a moment before he heard Ah-hin's exclamation. He looked over in interest to see her push the thing away, and he shrugged. Why waste a perfectly good drink? Even though he knew he shouldn't be drinking, it was only one, and he saw no problem. Sadly, his tolerance level was so high that he would only be in trouble if the entire thing was alcohol, which he doubted if someone was trying to spike it. He grinned and snagged the drink away, sipping at it. "No point in letting it go to waste, eh?" he chuckled, grinning widely before he felt a nudge on his back and turned around to glare at the source, none other than his vain Misdreavus Helena. She was probably upset with him that he hadn't been paying her any attention the instant she came out. Ignoring the scowl of the bartender as he set down Noah's order heavily, the sandy blond turned about in his chair to instead stroke his Misdreavus, knowing that she was a little more spiteful than quiet Forlorn. "It's not that bad of a place," he remarked, flashing her a teasing grin before he turned his attention back to the Pokemon before him, not wanting her to get huffy. "And there are plenty of virgin drinks. The service here is pretty good, actually, so I'm sure that was just an honest mistake."
