Wasteland upon wastelands far as the eyes could see. She was almost certain of several bone slivers that had become wedged in the rubber of her boots, but it didn’t deter her in the least. Death in this place was nothing to shy over, common as can be. There were several moments she’d almost crushed a few clean-picked skulls during her venture; something she avoided when she could. Odd, wasn’t it? Trotting on anything but a skull barely brushed on what moral virtue she possessed, perhaps it was because skulls retained what the creature was in its life. They were so much easier to identify to the less informative bunch; well, to some extent.
It didn’t take her long to scale the structure. She’d learnt the layout over the years she’d come out here to do nothing but goof off and relax. She knew which beams were faulty, which ones would give under her weight so she could improvise using a springboard. She supposed her ‘other side’ had a part to play in it too. Climbing and jumping was an almost effortless task to the Infernape gijinka. Her sense of balance and perception near perfection. She paid little heed to whatever Pokémon were skulking around the vicinity; they weren’t bothering her so she’d return the favour and let them live out their own lives in this miserable dump of a place.
She slid down the worn goggles and kept the bandanna covering her nose and lower face. The wind hadn’t picked up by much, a few harsh winds her and there but it wouldn’t be too long. She wouldn’t be in the clear of the dust until she reached the upper level anyway, at least it was closed off there and she’d be save enough until it blew over.
Trudging through the sand, she entered what she would like to call her home away from home. Ascending was simple enough too. Alexis tightened the strap across her chest that was connected to the cloth covered blade on her back before crouching. Acrobatics was such a useful move outside of her battles. Leaping with a practiced and nimble grace she made her way upward via wall, beam and whatever else she could get a good grip on. Finally arriving at the desired level, it should be safe enough shelter here. “That was easy.” She gave a close eyed smile to no one in particular, scratching the back of her head nonchalantly and proud of the minimal amount of energy she’d used. Flexing her shoulders she aimlessly wandered the level, mumbling to herself. “…don’t even know…..so angry…” she scoffed. “It was only…pot…’priceless’ my ass.” † wild † 450 † xxx †

WILD SLAKOTH APPEARED! [/style] Slakoth || Male || Truant || Normal || Level 9 Scratch || Yawn || EncoreIf the Slakoth was being honest with himself, he was bored out of his mind. He hated sitting around here doing nothing! It was stupid and pointless and he wanted to throw something at a wall for even suggesting that he should try to entertain himself by taking a nap! He let out an angry screech at the Pikachu that he faced, but before he could do anything to attack it, his ability seized him up, making his limbs stiffen and his eyes start fluttering shut, and by the time he'd managed to force them open again, the little yellow mouse was gone. Letting out another angry roar, he clawed at the ground in front of him - the direction from which he'd come had a lot of the same marks scoured into the floor, but he would neither confirm or deny that he was in any way responsible - and then managed to make his way forward before he heard something. Puffing himself up angrily, he was in the mood for a fight after all, he let out a loud war-bellow, something that would make any self-respecting Skitty quake in its fur. "Slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa slakoth slak slak slaaaaaakoth!" he cried out, clawing at the ground in readiness. You wanna mess with me, punk? He wanted a good fight to limber up his body, and with any luck, he'd be able to evolve soon, and then he'd be able to cause even more damage with his claws and be rid of this stupid heaviness to his limbs. He really hated the body he was born with, but that wasn't going to dampen his battle spirit. He'd fight whatever came his way and that was final!

[STYLE=width: 100px; height: 100px; border-radius: 30 0 0 0px; border: 10px solid #660000; margin: 10 10 10 10px; background-image: url(http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/yy290/rgd-l/IconDump/Shura/a49.jpg); float: left;] [/style] Alex snorted in amusement having watched the entire thing from an overhanging ledge she’d found just a few moments before. She had eyed the Pikachu in interest however, she didn’t see many of them around here but as far as this Slakoth went it was at least giving her something to substitute her boredom, albeit in a boring fashion but she could tell he had a lot more energy than most of his kind. Nevertheless, it was fun to watch it throw its little fit.
“No need to be so rude, ya?” the gijinka smirked at the wild Pokemon’s words. She pulled down the bandanna shielding the lower portions of her face; having removed the goggles at a previous time during her little wander around the place. If she were being completely honest with herself she would have liked a Pokemon companion; but then again she wouldn’t take just anyone. Her loner lifestyle suited her just fine at present and she didn’t see a reason to change that; at least not for a whiny little Slakoth. Perhaps she was being too harsh, maybe the little guy had nothing better to do with his time in this shitty dump of a region but life wasn’t fair. “You might run into something you regret, not to mention it's pretty stupid of you to go out looking for trouble.” She smirked, both trying to irritate the creature and at her own hypocrisy. She would do the very same thing up until a few years ago. Maybe even now on occasion. What could she say? She’s a real hothead.
That thought brought an ironic element to her grin. This Slakoth didn’t need to know that though. Quite frankly she was having too much fun messing with him and poking fun. She wanted to see if he’d get anymore riled up and take a stand or if he’d back off and leave her be. Either way she wouldn’t make the first move. Still sitting on her height she looked down on him with her judgmental smile. “You never know when things could end badly for you.” In a small act of sadistic pleasure she let a small portion of her hair ignite; reminiscent of the Pokémon she’d been genetically combined with. Her behaviour was odd ever since her bastard of a client refused to pay up all because she’d smashed that stupid pot of his. What a fool. Granted she wasn’t an assassin but she was sure she could kill him if she really wanted to…but maybe she was just angry about the whole thing. NotesHeh xD No problem. I understand how difficult it is to try and juggle everything at once, thanks for the welcome though :3 I'll be sure to let you know if I need anything~

WILD SLAKOTH APPEARED! [/style] Slakoth || Male || Truant || Normal || Level 9 Scratch || Yawn || EncoreThe Slakoth's head shot up at the sound of a voice, and immediately he felt his claws start to curl in a threat. Who was this whiny brat to tell him how to live his life? Who did she think she was? The normal-type leveled his best warning glare at her and showed off his teeth to her with a low snarl. She wasn't in any position to be doing a whole lot of judging, especially not of him. You had to fight to survive in this area, and most Slakoths weren't considered strong enough to really be considered all too much of a threat to anyone. That was why he had to be so quick to start a fight, because if he didn't, he'd just get taken advantage of. He had to protect his territory vigorously, otherwise it'd get taken, and if he didn't, he'd get beaten up. And he got screwed over enough as it was with that stupid seizure thing with his muscles where they would tense up and refuse to let him so much as twitch. "Sla slakoth sla," he hissed through his teeth, claws digging into the floor. And you're just stupid, so who's the worst of the two of us? He wasn't in any way intimidated by that show of power. He'd seen more than enough Fire-types that such a thing didn't scare him. She'd have to try harder than that if she wanted to shake him.
OOC: Ah, just so you know, you can skip a Pokemon if you're not wanting to catch it or KO it. You just need to mark that you are skipping it, and if you skip two in a row, you have to take the third one regardless of what it is or if you want it. Also um, I'm not trying to be rude here, but Alexis wouldn't have been able to understand the Pokemon, not even a Gijinka can unless either the Gijinka mon or the Pokemon is a Psychic type. >.>' Sorry for raining on your parade, I'm gonna crawl off now.
