Pant after pant, Dee paraded to the large body of water that was about half a mile away. Cursing under his breath, the boy disliked the idea of how the scientists at the electrical plant treated him. Like their errand boy. But whatever the case, it would be his job to check the area and make sure the pipes are safe and sound.
Above him his Sandile lay on top of his head, protecting the kid from the sun's harmful rays. He was proud of the idea, the pros were mutual as he would get protection from the aggravating heat and she'd enjoy the nice sun. A win-win situation if you asked him. Deano appreciated her help in everything that happened within to him recently. Having just found her about a few weeks ago the two of them became great partners. The pokemon squirmed a bit, probably due to the way he was running and she opened her eyes to find that they've almost reached the lake.
Dee paused and allowed beige pokemon to jump down before they continued their trek to the large body of water. First thing first was to patrol the border of the lake to make sure that no wild pokemon were messing around. Afterwards he'd go and check the two pipes that lay above the ground. A simple enough mission for the two of them. The tall trees before them blocked the way to the lake and Dee had to maneaver through them to get to the other side. Sandile had made it easily through but Deano had some trouble due to his height. Bushes were about the half the size of him, making it quite difficult to jump over them. But he had to make it, the boy stepped back a little. It was all or nothing as he ran forward and pulled his legs up high. Like a track runner, the trainer just barely jumped over the obstacle without getting hurt.
"Damn, why'd they make it so difficult to get here." He muttered to himself and Sandile giggled at the attempt. She must have enjoyed the show that he just put on. Finally the two had reached their destination and now it was time to patrol the area. [/style] |

WILD HORSEA APPEARED! [/style] IT IS SHINY!horsea || male || damp || water || level 4 bubble || smokescreen Horsea was happily swimming just under the lake's surface, liking the way the strong sun shone through the water. He was a little bit different than all of the other Horsea, so he didn't like their company. He was usually alone, swimming in the currents of the water. All the other pokemon avoided the pipes too, as they thought it might hurt them, or that evil people would come and kill them if they were close to those. But him? He liked excitement, so he was actually waiting for someone to show up. And probably get him out of the group of uninteresting and common water pokemon.
He was swimming around the pipe, when he saw a shadow from under the surface coming closer. Was that really what he thought it was? He didn't see people around here as often as the other pokemon feared they would come, so he was delighted. Finally, someone that may notice him. Someone that may get him out of here to make him strong!
As soon as the opponent was close enough, he came to the surface with a splash, and released Bubbles at the coming Sandile and the human. "Hor-sea, sea, sea!", he laughed, clearly amused. Oh, this will be fun!

In any case he had to follow the order that his manager gave him. Thinking back on it he didn't appreciate how the boss was treating him, almost as if the guy did not want the kid around when there was serious business to tend to. It made since, because all he ever did was the boring things that no one else wanted to do such as clean the plant, count inventory and what not. He hated it and begged for more exciting things to happen, following the rules is what he does but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to have fun.
Sandile yawned as she exclaimed how boring the job was. The trainer agreed and decided to peer into the side of the lake. Maybe if he was lucky a Pokemon might show up. Deano went closer to the point he might actually fall in, that's when he saw a strange shadow appear before him. Could it be...a Pokemon, he thought quietly to himself. Sure enough his thoughts became reality when a blue sea-horse looking Pokemon jumped out of the water. The shock made him jump back a few steps so that he didn't fall into the lake, suddenly the creature released bubbles from his mouth. Sandile was unprepared for the attack and got bombarded by the bubbles. This wasn't good since his Pokemon was part ground, that mean't he would be weak against water attacks. Should he retreat?
Deano pushed that thought to the back of his mind, the moment he realized that the Horsea was different from the ones he saw in books. The color was slightly lighter, which meant that the Pokemon was shiny. There was no way he would pass on a rare opportunity like this. "Alright Sandile, hang in there okay. We can't let this one get away." he announced, as the Pokemon shrugged off the attack from before and was ready to battle. Sandile growled at the Pokemon, she expressed anger that the sea horse caught her by surprise. The trainer noticed how furious she was and knew exactly how to handle the situation. "Sandile get ready, use Rage!" he exclaimed to the Pokemon, as the crocodile stomped a little bit before diving towards the Horsea. [/style] |

WILD HORSEA APPEARED! [/style] IT IS SHINY!horsea || male || damp || water || level 4 bubble || smokescreen Horsea didn't expect a counterattack so soon, so he had to admit he was surprised by it quite much. She was close to the bank of the lake, so the Sandile's Rage attack hit him easily, and he fall back in the water. What was that? What was that? Is it really a battle now?
It was so exciting!
Horsea resurfaced again to laugh at the pair in front in amusement. He wasn't mocking them, he actually had a great time. He jumped above the water to release Smokescreen in the small area around him, dimming the pair's vision just a slight bit, so he will be harder to hit.
After that, he actually jumped out of the water onto one of the pipes. There was no rule about a water pokemon needed to be in the water, right? Right! He was special like that! From then, he released another set of Blubbles, though not really seeing if it hit or not... The battle was the important thing, not that he won!
OOC: Don't forget you can have two moves in one post~ Either two attacks, or one dodge+one attak, etc.

Luckily she made contact with the sea horse pokemon which would sure enough do some decent damage. Dee smiled as he enjoyed having challenging battles, especially ones that seemed like he would be an idiot for accepting. Since his crocodile was part ground and weak against the water type, Horsea. The odds were not in his favor.
The Pokemon fell back into the shore of the lake, and he gasped at the thought of her accidentally falling into the water which would have mean't danger for the two of them. Their chances of winning the battle then and capturing the little guy would be dropped down to zero. Wait did I really want to catch this guy, It'd be a first for me. He thought as the battle continue on with the Horsea laughing at them. Did he think something was funny.
He prepared for an attack after watching the creature head back in the water. What move would come next was what Deano was thinking. Grinding his teeth he waited patiently for the right moment to attack. Then the horse appeared, jumping high out of the water. What came next caused some confusion as the Pokemon released a cloud of smokescreen from his mouth. The area around him and Sandile was then clouded and his sight got reduced. The only thing he could do now was get out of the smoke and find safety to counterattack.
Thankfully Sandile was right next to him which made it easier to locate her and carry the crocodile to safety. The two were successful in escaping the smoke, and he coughed a bit due to the scent of the cloud. After putting down the pokemon the two observed the area to locate the enemy. Sandile snorted when she made eye contact with the creature who layed upon the water pipes. This was the first time he saw a water Pokemon out of water. "You are a fascinating pokemon. Now I'm definitely going to catch you." Deano announced. He noticed the bubbles heading towards the smoke which meant they were able to dodge an attack. "O.K. now use Bite to catch a hold of him" Hopefully the plan would work and the Horsea would be fall right in their clutches. [/style] |

WILD HORSEA APPEARED! [/style] IT IS SHINY!horsea || male || damp || water || level 4 bubble || smokescreen Oh, they dodged! They dodged one! It was a real battle if they dodge attacks, since who is silly enough to stand and wait there to be attacked? He was so happy they dodged it!
Horsea was indeed not fighting for the win he was just having tons of fun against someone who finally seemed like a nice experience, and a way to pass time. And who knows, he might actually be lifted out of this boring lake!
he jumped up and down on the pipe happily, releasing another set of Bubbles at the Sandile as it launched at him, and bit down on his body.
Ouch, it hurt!
It was real battle!
He giggled a bit, and moved around in the pokemon's mouth, but he couldn't get free. He didn't mind though. He let out another Smokescreen around them, and wiggled some more, but he wasn't frustrated at all. he thought it was fun. He thought having to be in a crocodile's mouth, with his life on the line, was fun.

Of course Dee was in the zone and his brain spun around thinking about how he could easily turn this battle around. Currently at the time, Sandile was at a disadvantage due to the water surrounding her and one false move could end it all. The shiny Horsea, as crazy as it seemed, must be caught. Reaching into his pocket, the boy searched for what he had forgotten. The one thing that helped him concentrate during tough times. Gum! "God, no wonder my brain was dying on me." The trainer spoke loudly and pulled the minty flavored gum from his short's pocket. The habit of chewing gum was so bad that he probably couldn't win a battle without it. Unraveling the wrapper, he placed the gum inside his mouth and began chewing. Suddenly everything felt a ton better, and his thought process appeared to be running at it's normal rate. Deano chewed a little bit more, before he was satisfied and glanced at the Horsea. Sandile was successful in chomping down on the Pokemon. But unable to dodge the bubbles that were sent at him when he dove for the creature cost him a bit. Sandile couldn't keep up with anymore water attacks, she panted heavily while holding on still using Bite on the water Pokemon. Squirming free did nothing for the pokemon, this was his chance to continue the assault. Another smoke cloud released from his snout and flooded the two of them. Now the chances were thin, and it could be anyone's game. Dee had no idea what was going on in there but the sound of the Horsea squiggling free of Sandile made it clear that she was still holding on. "Now, throw the Horsea in the air and follow up with Rage again!" The crocodile did what she was told and threw the pokemon out of the cloud and into the air. There was no telling what was going to happen next. [/color] [/style][style=font-size: 8px; font-family: arial;]MADE BY FLIQPY OF LOVESTAMP ![/style] [/center]

WILD HORSEA APPEARED! [/style] IT IS SHINY!horsea || male || damp || water || level 4 bubble || smokescreen Ouch, those teeth, ouch, ouch, ouch! They hurt for sure! Horsea couldn’t get free, and the Bite was draining his health quite much. He glanced at the human ordering the Sandile around. Is this how a trained pokemon fight? It seems exciting, to be able to only concentrate on the battle, why someone gives the orders. You barely have to think, you just do what your trainer says, all you have to do it enjoy the battle!
He was thrown up in the air, and though he released Bubbles around him, the avoided the Sandile, so the attack did nothing, actually. This attack hurt more than the previous one, and Horsea could feel that his end was nearing close too. This Rage attack sent him back into the water, he collided the surface with a loud splash. It took a moment for him to come back above and be visible again, but after that, he didn’t move to attack anymore.
“Hor-sea-sea-sea! Horsea!” He laughed at the pair and swam closer to the edge of the water, too weak to continue fighting anymore, but not at all willing to run away from them. He was looking at the human now, quietly urging him closer so he could take a better look at this trainer.
He didn’t want to fight with them anymore. He wanted someone to train him, and get him out of this boring lake!

Dee knew that from the beginning, Sandile would either faint or barely survive the battle since they were going up against a water type. But the way she raged out at the Pokemon made it seem like the crocodile was in no way going to let him get away with a sneak attack. The trainer flipped his hair upwards as the intense concentration made it lose some of his spiky suave. Dean could tell that the sea horse creature was enjoying this battle as much as he was. After Sandile followed up with Rage, and slammed the Pokemon back into the water it was obvious by now that the Horsea was ready to give up. Maybe this would his chance to capture it. "Alright Sandile you can come back now." He commanded loudly, enough was enough, there was no point in carrying on the battle any longer. Sandile came back taking in some heavy breaths, possibly trying to regain her lost strength. The trainer knelt down to congratulate the crocodile on a job well done. Their first Pokemon battle in a while and it was a success. Looking back up again he noticed the Horsea edging closer to the bank of the lake. Was it surrendering? The two paraded towards the bank to come face to face with the water Pokemon. At close range it looked actually cute and Dean was able to observe the way it shined. He also noticed some of the scratches on it body due to the intense battle that just happened. The trainer looked through his bag, in search of an item that could help the two of them. Success at last when he brought out two potions and aimed them at Sandile and Horsea. "O.K. you two this might sting a little, but you'll feel better afterwards." He said as he pulled the trigger which released a stinging spray. Sandile scrunched up a little when it came into contact with her. And the Horsea did the same. WILD HORSEA APPEARED! [/style] IT IS SHINY!horsea || male || damp || water || level 4 bubble || smokescreen Horsea watched as the pair was gettong closer. He was excited now, it was a nice battle and he got a little bit more experience from it as well. Though he also knew he was at an advantage, he couldn't help feeling proud and satisfied at the same time.
He was also treated by the boy, which he considered as a sign he might take him in. He would love that! He only closed his eyes and hissed a little bit at the sting, not that bothered by pain. Come on, the Sandile's attacks were much more painful, and he could still take it! But he felt better after that, which was good.
He jumped out of the water again, slowly hopping closer to the boy as he asked the question. "Horsea!" This time he was jumping up and down from happiness: silly question, of course he would love to go with them! He nodded as well, in case the enhusiastic reply wasn't convincing.
He couldn't believe it, he was actually getting out of this boring lake!
HORSEA WON'T RESIST IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE IT NOW!

[style=font-family: arial; font-size: 9px; text-shadow: #A26AAD 1px 1px 1px; font-size: 9px; color: #FBEC5D]NOW YOU FEEL LIKE NUMBER ONE. SHINING BRIGHT[/style][style=float: left; margin-right: 5px; border: 5px solid #FFD700;][/style] [style=border-left: 10px #FFD700 solid; padding: 5px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px; line-height: 100%; text-align: justify; width: 250px;] The moment cam at last, the tension in the air from before had already subsided and the natural calming powers of nature flowed throughout the forest. Horsea appeared to be as happy as he could be, jumping in and out of the water making water splash around him. It was amazing that no other pokemon from the lake had disturbed them during their battle, although it did strike him as odd. Maybe something really was wrong about the pipes, for the time being he'd worry about that later. Right now it was time to capture this pokemon. Reaching out to his belt and pulling out a pokeball, he pressed the button which allowed the object to grow to its proper size. With a tight grip on it he threw the ball towards the sea horse pokemon and watched it be sucked into the object. Anticipation filled him up, but he remained calm seeing as he had already had the pokemon the moment the creature was defeated by Sandile. The pokeball fell to the ground and shook, one...two...three...capture. That was it, Horsea now belonged to him and made an official member of his party. Dean walked over there and picked up the ball, slowly placing it back onto his belt. Success his first pokemon capture. Even after the capture, the trainer had a confused look on his face and wanted to know more about the lake pokemon and what kinds of creature's inhabited it. Dean still had to finish border patrol around the lake to make sure the pipes were all in tip top shape. Dean returned Sandile back to her pokeball, since the battle was tough she needed a good break. The potion may have brought her health back to normal but her stamina wasn't as good as it should be. He paced towards the first pipe, the one that Horsea had sat upon during their battle and did a quick review of the pipe line. "Everything was O.K. here." He said to himself and moved on to the next one. The sun was still beating down its bright rays but at the moment he couldn't worry about that. From a distance he saw another pipe, and this one was obviously not in perfect condition. Deano checked over it, noticing that someone must have tried to yank the pipe's off of the circuit. Who could have done such a thing. Thinking to himself, but little did he know that someone was watching him from afar, and they mean't trouble.[/style][style=font-size: 8px; font-family: arial;]MADE BY FLIQPY OF LOVESTAMP ![/style]

[/style] jynx || female || forewarn || ice/psychic || level 6 pound || lick || lovely kiss || powder snow Jynx had left the lake for only a moment, and when she returned, she already found a human, probably a young trainer there. She went off so she could get something that would help her pull off that pipe, or at least damage it enough, but all she found was a slightly bigger stick to hit the pipe with. She didn't have the power to move the pipe away with psychic energy yet, so she had to resort to strength - which she wasn't all that good at.
When she saw the boy wandering to that certain pipe, she froze, still hidden by the surrounding trees. This might be a problem later! Driven by a sudden urge, Jynx run out from behind the trees, holding the stick and flailing around with it while she was approaching the trainer. "Jyyyyynx! Jyyyyyynx!"She was freaking out, and she was about to hurl the stick at the pipe where it was emerging from the water to damage it more. Before, she was doing it with rocks, but those broke soon as well, not to mention her hands were damaged by them too...
She stopped for a moment, looking toward the water where she heard a loud splasing, and hurridly, as if being urged by that, she started to hit the pipe again, closer to the water and the splashing.
SOMETHING IS THERE! [/style] ?? || ?? || ?? || ?? || ?? ?? || ?? || ?? There was something splashing in the water just where the pipe was going down into the lake. It was hidden by grass and water dwelling plants, but there was definitely something there.

[style=font-family: arial; font-size: 9px; text-shadow: #A26AAD 1px 1px 1px; font-size: 9px; color: #FBEC5D]NOW YOU FEEL LIKE NUMBER ONE. SHINING BRIGHT[/style][style=float: left; margin-right: 5px; border: 5px solid #FFD700;][/style] [style=border-left: 10px #FFD700 solid; padding: 5px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px; line-height: 100%; text-align: justify; width: 250px;] Someone must have been messing with the water pipes, but for what reason would they do such a thing. It appeared odd the scratch marks appeared on the pipe, maybe the person who did this was trying to break it apart. Possibly they used a hard rock or maybe some sticks. Dean still had no idea what the weapon was but it was up to him to find out who was responsible. A chill went down his spine, as if something had been watching him the entire time. Afraid to look behind him, the trainer just pretended that he didn't notice anything and continued doing what he was doing before. That didn't stop the person from scaring Deano half to death, all of a sudden a black and pink figure comes out from behind, running out of the forest and heading straight towards him. Dean easily identified the creature as the ice and psychic Pokemon Jynx, but he'd never seen one before in real life. Usually they lived up int he snowy mountains, what was she doing down in the forest. The Pokemon wielded a big stick and swung it around like she was about to swat a fly, he stared at her both scared and confused and moved out of the way. It was the only thing he could do at the moment, since he thought she was after him but it didn't turn out that way. The Jynx paused before reaching the pipes and threw the stick at the one of the connections. Then it all made sense that Jynx was the one who had been messing with the pipes. After catching himself from falling, Dean anticipated the creature's next move as he got a tight grip on of his poke'balls. He didn't know which one to choose, Sandile was the obvious choice due to her being the strongest but she also had a weakness to ice and water types. Maybe Horsea would be up for the challenge. But before he could come up with a decision the Jynx had ignored him and started examining the water. What was she doing, he noticed that the creature followed the pipe down to where it intersected with the bank of the lake. "What...what are you doing?" he asked the Pokemon, even though he knew that Pokemon can't speak human. He would try his best to understand what she was saying. Dean moved closer and could see splashes coming out from the water, they were pretty big, bigger than the ones Horsea made during their battle. Something strong was coming, did the Jynx know this and try to stop it or did it have a different ulterior motive.[/style][style=font-size: 8px; font-family: arial;]MADE BY FLIQPY OF LOVESTAMP ![/style]

WILD JYNX APPEARED! [/style] jynx || female || forewarn || ice/psychic || level 6 pound || lick || lovely kiss || powder snow It was the pipe's fault! This dreadful pipe caused trouble, and if she didn't destroy it soon, there will be more trouble! The splashing in the water became more intense, which also made the Jynx freak out some more. She barely noticed the person talking to her, but when she did, she stopped and looked at him, huge eyes staring into his.
"The pipe's fault!" She said quietly, her low leveled telepathy resonating into the mind of the boy directly, though only a few words made it trough, but those were enough. "Trap, trap!" She repeated, as if she was talking to someone who wouldn't understand. "It's trapped. Under!" She motioned to the water with the stick she was holding, pointing at the splashing right where the pipe run into the water.
SOMETHING IS THERE! [/style] ?? || ?? || ?? || ?? || ?? ?? || ?? || ?? The splashing became more intense, more desperate, as if fighting for air, fighting to stay above the water's surface. There was something trapped under the pipe, and it seemed like it wasn't able to get free! Will it drown without help? It was still hidden by water plants and leaves.
